you can farm gold on any mode, but the potential earnings is much lower on PVE modes than their PVP counterparts. For example, PVE HR drops loot identical to PVP normals. The best POTENTIAL earnings in the game come from PVP HR, but you can probably make more CONSISTENT earnings in PVE norms until you're comfortable trying harder content. For example.. using the same strategies and pathing, I earn about 800 gold in 10 minutes on PVE normal water map. on PVE HR, its more like 1500

yes, damage mods on armor boost your weapon damage. some damage mods are only on one or the other even. like weapon damage only shows up on weapons, and true/add damage only shows up on jewelry, capes,gloves, and hats

sometimes crafted weapons have add or true on them too... but it can't roll randomly on gear except for the stuff listed above

If I don’t react fast enough it’s game over, but even with a longsword a couple of headshots tends to get them for me, typically longsword and rogue is a bad matchup on top of it

Sorcerer is one of the hardest classes to learn how to play. I'd say go for something else but choose what seems like fun. If you only play solo, avoid wizard (because it's one of the worst at killing mobs). But the game feels best in a team anyway. You can try squire to riches to queue with random people. Good luck.

Fighter is probably the most versatile and easiest to pick up, skills are very straightforward and you have a few different builds to try: full plate with longsword, full plate with sword & shield, slayer (2 handed fighting with light armor). Also you can use weapon mastery to wield any weapon in the game, including bows.

You are countered by casters (wiz/warlock mostly), but that's just how the game goes. If you wannna survive a lot, you try to avoid those matchups. But if you wanna challenge yourself, fight them anyway. Play with others, game is much easier to learn and the players are usually less experienced as opposed to solo (at least in EU).

If you keep crafting for a BIS arena kit, you will have a lot of gear if you keep it. Then just gem since it's really cheap now and you have a lot of decent kits going. It's definitely just a few days of chaos, sacrificing all kits you have left just for the thrill.

But it would be nice to get some kind of reward for destroying as many artifacts as possible (as in how many artifacts your enemies had when you won).

It's just a bad plan to roll out an Arena format where you lose your gear. I'm not a developer, but look at the most popular game modes... Arena, PvE, S2R. No gear losses and that's where people are mostly playing the game. It's not difficult to understand. The hardcore group is an overwhelming minority. They suggested removing solo queues to try to populate their stacked trio games more and it didn't work.

I'm curious if a HR S2R would work. And then just remove the dead HR mode and make Arena uncapped. Probably a better game if that happens.

rupture for squishies like rangers sorcs and wizards, this is what i go with because its a catch-all general ability

cutthroat if you keep running into really experienced casters or druids

smoke pot if u want to hit + run while theyre still relatively close to their team and want to guarantee an escape, dont expect to loot the kill tho lol

I learned mainly off of repoze and partychip's old rogue videos they still apply for the most part

A good strat that I like doing is taking my potions off my belt and waiting in really awkward spots the enemy never expects and jumping them there. Also if ur good at hiding/have double jump its really easy to bait a team into chasing you, and leading them into another team to force a fight and picking off the winners

Druid rework. Keep it at its exact power level with animal form but take away things the more forms you have.

If you have all animal forms and you can panther chicken jump and turn into bear form and human to heal form its too many abilities. Too much hybrid value.

So you would with this system having 4-5 forms on your shapeshift wheel have these kind of draw backs. Have no bleed on panther, lower hp bonus from bear or lower pdr, no second jump in chicken form, lower casting speed on human form, rat form becomes too big to fit through door windows at 4 forms.
Means SDF doesn't have to delete anything either and you can only panther chicken jump if you give up rat door and vise versa.

Yes they are overpowered in getting away with your loot and fighting you without committing. Now imagine the rat cant fit through the door if they take panther chicken jump. They try to panther chicken jump and get away then they are forced to open a door and you catch them? This takes away their mobility unless they give up human and at that point they cant loot your stuff.
