Then providing % additional holy magical damage based on spell casting speed (1% per 3% casting speed)

You could've had clerics building that and running it with the holy magical damage perk for massive bonks without cleric being able to run you down with smite

The spear of rot could have a poison like effect besides the goofy one true phys

They could've made a "mirror pavise" that reflected a spell and then went on cooldown (no shielding for a while)

The potential is insane for sh!t that ARE NOT ARTIFACTS

But Ironmace don't understand the concept of "Trade-offs" to balance something

Take apex for example they just did crazy changes to octane randomly to make them more fun and viable. That’s updates that all games need to keep it fresh. I swear we get one decent patch a season and though out the season it’s all tiny changes that barely do anything which resorts to ppl just playing the same ol things they already were. Why not make Druid only be able to go up one form from size. Like rat to chicken to panther to bear and vice versa . Removes a lot of the frustration of almost killing a bear Druid by playing perfect and he just turns into a rat and gets away like wtf man

I dont agree with ur take, I think the druid shouldn't have as many options to change into different animals or the animals shouldn't be so broken in what they can do, like chicken being the double jump perk in a animal and small hitbox, rat being the smallest hitbox in the game and can be unpunished by half the classes, bear being the best tank and giant hitboxes and panther cutthroat and pounce ability

druid just shouldn't get what other classes need to use a perk slot or ability for free

Lowkey wish theyd just rework the whole class. Get rid of shapeshift mastery and make shapeshifting speed based on action % (and significantly faster per point of action %). Then delete rat form and tweak panther HP to be 80% again. FInally, add better spells that the class would have access to in order to make it 50% caster 50% transform rather than the current 90% transform and 10% spells (besides healer builds ofc). The action % part would also help counter rat druids in HR who are just there to scoop kits as theyd need to build dex to play well

• make friends to team up with
• help timmies escape when you are spectating them
• ask questions when you are spectating others
• negotiate selling/buying a good kit after you win/lose a fight

Why whispers might be bad:

• toxic messages from players (but this can be stopped with mute and disabling whispers)
• unfair help in HR from salty players giving info

I am convinced the benefits far outweigh the downsides and I see no good reason for them to remove whispers unless they have some hidden agenda of pushing upcoming "guild" paid content more.

I think this arena event is really weird, we cant team up with mates upwards 2200 which is nothing, and then they make it no item grade restriction but also lose all. Means there is no way to avoid queing with some horrible comp or someone who just disconnets or trolls, which will significantly LOWER the gear level, esp after first day. WTF is hardcore about a squire/greens arena. Just look at the state of highroller with no grade restriction

I've found chicken eggs in adv mode. you can get feathers but the drop chance is rare and I'm not sure if luck helps or hurts that drop chance. there was some analysis that luck can improve loot rolls, which could reduce chances for hunting loot drops. that may be outdated info but is worth checking out. You can always do high roller PVE as it has better loot so likely higher chance of dropping a feather

Luck doesn't matter anyway. A youtuber did a 2 week long test in which he compared full luck kit with no luck and there was barely any difference. You are better off getting item interaction speed to open chests and loot piles faster.

areanas are also fair competitions. no illegal teaming, no third parties/rats. 5 fights to lose a kit is a pretty solid use of that kit even without any gain for winning. personally, i would think this would be better if you got to load into the expressman room with the corpses of the losing team so you can loot them with the 30 second timer. too much work getting that to work though when they can't even get quivers into the game.

this event is also only for the top arena players. casual players get nothing out of this but likely arena losses. they shoulda done something for everyone like multi-classing or another artifact award event so everyone can enjoy the end of wipe.

Druid Rework: Hear me out..

As of right now, we have 3 distinct playstyles.

Lifebloom heals, Insta-shift, and a Hybrid of both.

Let's make every single E ability of a shapeshift a spell castable in Human Form.. it will now be the only way to activate them. Using the spell activates the shapeshift for X amount of seconds. (Does not require spell memory, but rather certain stat thresholds must be met. X strength for bear, X agility for panther, X dex for Chicken, etc.)

Lifebloom no longer disables all shapeshifting, but instead allows the use of an exclusive-to-the-perk Treant form, and gain x physical damage reduction and heal teammates an additional 2 health per tick of heal for up to 30 seconds, with a minute cooldown.

New and improved perks;

Lifebloom: Allows the use of Treant Form. All other shapeshift requirements increased by 25%. Healing spells memory requirements reduced by 15%, and healing spells tick for 1 more health per.

Natural Healing: Heals yourself and party members by 1 health every 3 seconds. Increased to 2 health if healed person is sitting.

Master Shapeshift (replaces shapeshift mastery)r: Reduces shapeshifting requirements by 25%. Allows you to shapeshift permanently until canceled. Spells have 25% increased memory requirements.

Sun & Moon: Converts your healing spells into damage over time. You can no longer heal. +3 will to nearby party members.

Thorn Coat: Roots the attacker in place for 1 second, and reflects 2 true physical damage. 25 second cooldown on the root.

Dreamwalk: Become spiritual for 3 seconds upon taking damage. You become stuck in a dreamstate, unable to make actions or move, and activating a minor spell recovery. 20 second cooldown.

Enhanced Wilderness: Gain +3 of a respective stat in each form.

Force of Nature: When the druid shapeshifts, they gain 10% physical damage reduction for 2 seconds.

Spirit Bond: Unchanged. Now has a downside though. It procs Dreamwalk.

Master Spiritualist (replaces Spirit Mastery): Increases magic power by 5, and reduces spell memory requirements of damage spells by 15% (works with Sun and Moon heals-to-damage conversion)

The Arena Test 8 season will end on Monday January 19. Until then, it's the same rules (SSF, Epic quality)

The Hardcore Arena Event is scheduled to take place from Frday January 23 to Monday January 26, where any item can be brought in, but all items are lost upon defeat. Presumably Arena Rank will be reset for the Hardcore Arena event after the end of Arena Test 8 season.

I wouldn't run a named kit with randoms in arena just as much as I wouldn't in HR.
I presume that a lot of people will post in LFG channels on that weekend looking for like-minded individuals

I wonder if Arena has a Gear score matchmaking system, or it's just based on rank. Cause if it's just Rank, trolls likely won't rank up as quickly as those performing well with their kits

The way I see it is that with Arena you get 3 chances (rounds) at minimum to keep your gear
In HR, if you die once, it's pretty much over.
In HR, there are crows to steal your kills' loot
In HR there are third parties, or you might not be fully reset.
In HR (and some rounds of Arena), there are nightmare mobs in the way.
In HR, enemies can take blues or Reds or just play Door and Doorer.
