Brother. Drop the script. They had 30k players for like 60% of their run, back when it was a million concurrent heck even 150k sure overwhelming, language barrier whatever. But they ran detailed analytics on class pick rate, peak hours, best performing locations, and play duration at the hight of playest 4. The most "stressful" time, they were removed from steam, litigation began, servers literally overflowed with players to the point they popped. Not to mention their staff was much smaller then now. We average 3-5k players on the high and they still dont listen to the dedicated players that stuck through all the crap. And how did the fall start? "We need funds to fight the big bad nexon". Games like this die bc they see numbers and want numbers to mean cash, more cash than was already paid upfront all while still in everlasting "early access". And we lapped it up. "Hold the line". Maybe they did need it and it was honest for a time, but Greed corrupted. You have idolized the wrong people. This game was only good in the beginning because it WAS someone's dream, at that point it was MEANT to be an actual game. Im starting to believe it wasn't even the current devs passion rather some other sad sack bullied into submission. Its lost all of its ambiance, atmosphere and passion, that dosent happen when the "visionary" keeps hold of his passion project. The husk thats left behind is what the vision was molded into. Less of a dream and more of a monetary opportunity, short lived and short sighted. You hate to see it. At least I do.
