in that build, your damage is a combination of str (physical damage bonus) and will (magical damage bonus), however the will side only applies while blow of corruption is active.

Mending Grove - Reduce charges from 2 - 1
Shapeshift Charges - Increase base cooldown by 25%
Restore - Changed to heal nearby allies only, no longer casts on self.
Restore - Magic Heal scaling changed from (.5) to (1)
Restore - Radius changed from 3m-5m
Entangling Vines - Now applies a 10%MS stacking slow debuff, resulting in a 1s root when the 3rd stack is applied.
Entangling Vines - Duration increased from 3s to 5s
Thorn Barrier - Width increased 50%
Thorn Barrier - Duration increased from 4s to 8s
Thorn Barrier - HP reduced to 50
Lifebloom - Now also adds +1 spellcasting charge to Mending Grove

People saying “nerf rogue, buff sorc” meanwhile the wizard community sitting quietly doing everything worse and older than all the other classes.
I think the reason those classes might seem under power to you might be the skill level they’re balanced towards. Rogue pve is quite tough when you’re new to the game; but in mid to high skill, it’s a pvp god, not dissimilar to sorc.
Warlock main here, and I think my class is perfectly balanced. Druids are definitely having an easy time in low brackets. But wizards have been gracious to still be playing.

with dev teams it usually takes a min of 2 years to get them to a point were they make you money. its a huge investment for a company to make. thats one of the reasons its very hard to find new positions in this area at the moment too. at least in my country as no one is willing to take you on and train you up to scratch as uni only gives you a taste of what you actually ned to know.

so let me put it this way, if your a small company that isnt making enough to take on many new devs(in my country a dev makes anything from 90k to 170k a year) but you need to expand your work force. easiest way is to take on internships and hope for the best.

So if I had to guess I would assume something like that happened. Were they needed more workers to get the job done but didnt have massive funding for a large team.
