What are the rules on highroller teaming, and what constitutes teaming?

I never use the mechanic so I don't recall if its in Highroller, but I know you can shake hands and form a team in dungeon so they probably mean you're suppose to use that

they need to change the penalty for "killing a teamate" in arena. like you have to do 50% of their health for it to be considered a teamkill and be punised for it. i was playing sorc and my teamate was mad at me so he stepped into my spell with low health and died. i got 500 seconds of not being able to match. i wasnt trying to kill him he was just angry with me

So heres the thing im confused about, I was just watching my friend play HR via stream, he was Barb in water map, he wanted to loot an area in the water, but a penguin druid came up to him a few feet away and started just looting stuff, my friend said he has to fight him or leave now because otherwise its teaming is this true? what constitutes "teaming" to begin with is also not stated anywhere as far as I know
some people think even existing near someone and not trying to kill them is teaming, others say as long as you don't actually work together its fine
I'm honestly unsure if the devs have given a clear answer or if people are just posturing their own opinions

I think it might be hard to stop teaming on a high level, but I'd still ike solid rules from devs as to what someone is allowed to do in HR, like, I dont think they expect someone to just mindlessly run at someone to their own detriment. Maybe being non hostile should be ok, as long as you arent taking down bosses together or attacking players?

But I can see how that would still make people upset

since, you dont know if people are not teaming or being not aggro if you see 4 strangers in a room, you probably wont be itching to jump in there sword swining

that's really the big issue that people have with the current state of enforcement
if you see multiple people chilling, you have no way of knowing if they're going to gang up on you if you wanna fight
so some of the people who like to be aggro and are playing for the PvP don't want people to be friendly with each other at all

being non-hostile as in trying to size someone up, or luring them into a trap or a situation in your advantage is in my opinion, fine. but if you're within another player's range to be attacked or to attack and you're just chilling in that zone for a decently long period of time, i'd consider that punishable even if it's not "teaming"

Meh I disagree. MS is too low in comparison to projectile speed in this game. Shots are just easy as hell to hit. Then with wizard, just fireball near them and ur good. Does less dmg, but u can just zap them down from there for free.

SSF Norms keeps that sweat-free while still being competitive.
SSF Arena makes it so you aren't always going up against the same thing.

HR should be where people use the market. Gives way more incentive to go in there instead of everyone doing S2R.

But SDF said he doesn't like SSF, so we barely get to experience it. The moment SSF ends the player count drops crazy.

this game is about matchups, favorable and non. as a druid there are certain classes i should try and avoid, just like a fighter or cleric should avoid me in the water. everything is about countering the other player. balance will never be perfect in a classbased game. but the game is in a decent state atm in my opinion, just low playerbase and way to many teamers. but getting annihalated by a 600+ fame player doesnt hurt me the slightest, but dying to a squire kit that has no investment in the run? now thats an issue

Druid vs. Druid fights are hilarious and fun. Although the server desync causes bear vs bear to be horribly RNG because you’ll time it right and still not get a hit yet they’ll hit you on the wrong timing (you’re supposed to start your right click very shortly after they start theirs)

sure take it slow, use torture mastery and flamewalk to clear rooms you will die alot, and every death is a lesson

instead of focusing on making it out, focus on mastering the different mobs in pve, then getting out will come naturally

I spent 5 minutes looking for portals before the game ended, and there wasn't a single portal anywhere. They were literally impossible to find. I died with a really expensive bis kit. Seriously, @glad thunder , before you add a map that almost nobody likes, polish your game mechanics because they're awful. They're the reason so many people quit playing at this point.
