Even underwater they are probably by far the best class for watermap. You can nuke people while kitting them with 330ms and the best part is they can use meditation underwater which by the way even heals you 😂

I'm not sure how Luck works, but Spider silk being a mob drop of blue quality for a mob that (iirc) doesn't have other hunting loot, the luck likely increases your chances.
As for drop rates, I believe it's per mob rather than per mode, but I could be wrong. Keep in mind that ice spiders also have a chance at droping silk as well as the giant ones.

I think that the easiest safe way to get gold at the moment in the game is by doing the Blue Maelstrom map in PvE and breaking barnacles and looting the Death Stalkers (piranahs) and the treasure piles (3 near the middle, usually, more elsewhere). A good run can easily yield 1000 gold

I thinks norms should be removed for s2r, that way, those extra servers could be allocated to HR and randomisation could be removed. That way the game could still have an endgame to keep players around long term. i'm not sure any of the extraction looters have an endgame, they all wipe, if they consolidate S2R, Norms and HR into one mode, the Arena can be the endgame, build as good a kit as you can (even uniques and artifacts) and then tie some seasonal rewards to that mode

For example, I used cleric with Holy spell to fast clear and pick up royal chests. I got a unique cloak, then as soon as I ran out of the room, 3 people ran straight to shoot archers. Some used rogue, some used judgment. After a few matches, I picked up a ring with legendary courage +1 all, then a group ran straight to it even though it was an area outside the ring.

Looking for some advice on Bard. I had 2x nice arena kits centered around the use of shrill and din of darkness. One kit was tank and the other was 330ms. Now the AOE got nerfed and I cant use the songs effectively anymore. Ive tried running around 330ms w demon's glee, 330ms 50% instrument damage lute tech, ive tried survival bow kite, etc. I just cant seem to find a rhythm. Why didn't the developers just implement a standard Solo Self-Found (SSF) mode? There would have been no need to create a new mode (first Squire, then Riches). It would allow you to safely extract the gear you find into your main inventory for the next raid, and it would eliminate all the complaints like, "Ugh, I found an amazing epic Bone Helmet with buff duration and interaction speed, but now I can't extract it because of the rank system, forcing me to buy premium. Dislike the developers, you freaks!"

Basically, they could have just created a new "NORMAL" status for items found in this mode. If you extract an item, it loses this "NORMAL" status and you can no longer slot gems into it.

I think with this setup, it would be a much more interesting experience. You'd get hooked on the progression, and every new piece of gear that was slightly better than the last would actually feel rewarding.

Things I would change about dark and darker:

Core gameplay changes:
-add quivers, potion bags, and backpacks. Make it so treasure items that sell to the collector can stack. Change the core gameplay loop so the majority of players aren’t stuck grinding for gold coin bags.

-add charge swings to melee combat, for all melee weapons, and fix blocking so desync isn’t as much of an issue

-REMOVE HR COMPLETELY and make squires to riches the premier ranked mode, which would get rid of RMT being a problem, completely skill based.

-update mob & boss A.I. -> especially on goblin caves the bosses and A.I. need a rework.

More melee weapons, and ADD THE TRAINING AND SKILL TREEES INTO THE DARN GAME.

We need more minor artifacts that are easier to obtain, quests should be more engaging and rewarding. Not having access to certain squire gear and craftables off rip isn’t the most ideal either.

hear me out. why not make it so every hr boss has a chance to drop artifacts. i thought of this because its weird that goblin caves and forgotten castle first two bosses require beating both to get a artifact but the new water map doesnt. to me this just makes no sense, it feels like they are saying that water map bosses are a higher priority kill then any boss from castle or goblin caves

i truly think that main issue is getting player base up once player base up we no longer need random hr maps and that would in term fix alot of the issues people have with the game. but right now thats a paradox unless they find a way to encourage new players to have an easier time in hr

W take, I also prefer shield bc of how much ranged is in the dungeon anymore, feels hella lame trying to melee people and they're just throwing the whole medicine cabinet at u with no counterplay (especially if im running crossbow)

longsword parry should do way less damage but you should be able to flow into the block stance way faster after swings

and then theres the whole thing with sheilds feels like no matter how many parry i hit they just insta block

shield mastery counter attack makes it impossible to get out of reach of the first swing, even in squires, unless its polearm

although i found the heater shield attractive for its large blocking area the impact resistance on it is the worst and its heavy so round shield is cool but suffering a similar fate with the ms update for them too. so imo buckler with its current original ms and impact resistance of 6 make it the beat shield for sword shield fighter

youre absolutely right sword and shield feel cringe because if you commit to swinging the enemy deals more dmg than you and like a wizard staff deals more dmg than most of your 1 handed weapons, it feels like youll block and fight someone like 4 times and they just 3 tap you all headshots

i like the cutlass but often lose to the enemy out dmging me even though their 1st swing was 100% blocked and triggered my cutlass riposte which i double headshot them. start to swing again and boom they kill me lol
