With norms and adventure plus high roller now, that’s 5 different map cues per server, add 3 different cues per each map for gear brackets and that’s 12 different cues per server, so way more, but yes dude I talk to my buddies about that all the time, I would absolutely love if they combined normal and hr, where the loot increases dramatically as you go down deeper into the dungeon, paired with more nightmare mobs as you go deeper as well. Maps like goblin caves would become the pvp hotspot again, and we still have adventure mode for the noobs, with their norms hr adventure bull as they go down, game would be so sick

at the end of season 6 ironmace made an extremely stupid move by removing solo mode, after more than 2 months of going through a wave of angry chat running crazy for 2 months, ironmace brought back solo mode but added a rotation function, like taking away a bag of candy and giving back a piece of candy to comfort players who asked for solo mode and silently solved the problem of the number of players for each map, so it is confirmed that ironmace will not bring back map select mode because there are too few players while ironmace is the one who caused the 80% drop since the release of druid and sorcerer

Now there are only 4k players but more than 2k of them are bots sitting in trade and scam checking in the market, compared to 470k concurrent players from season 1, there are no legendary or unique items and name weapons, only epic and below and the number of classes are balanced like a circle of restraint, although Warlock was quite buggy when it was released with BoC and curse heal but it was still in a balanced state, but after releasing druid with a series of mini buffs, now druid is too strong along with sorcerer version x2 strength of Wiz and a series of equipment that unbalance the game, it is all predetermined that the game will be ruined

they usually get announced like a month before the wipe. But you can look at previous seasons to see what to expect for the various ranks.
it's usually pretty similair. e.g. one that has a skin, will generally just be another skin, coin storage will be coin storage (even when its shifts between bags and pouches) etc

we run into barbarian who is around 40% magic resistance 190hp and he tanks fireball to face + 2 hits with ignite without issues

do barbarians have some secret extra magic resistance? like I dont get how this game works
If I myself or my friends play barbarian with 200hp, 50% magic resistance I get melted by anything that is magic, we check all stats, hp, magic power, all true stats, magic penetration, whatever they might have and theres just something that doesnt add up

Demon is good against anyone. You just have to build unreasonably specific. For instance, most of your damage comes from the bleed off your claws. However, if you build a decent amount of action speed you will never get a single bleed tick to hit as it resets the bleed before the first tick hits.

Oh in case you don't know, the cooldown on dark reflect scales with both cooldown reduction and debuff duration. I've played with it a lot and you can get it to re up immediately. I've had fully kitted rogues nuke themselves on me before I could react with certain kits. It's not something to build hard for, but its worth keeping in mind that debuff and resourcefulness are not dead stats if you're effectively using dark reflect

your best spells dont work in water, burns dont work so zap does less damage, you're reliant on ice bolt and magic missile, both of which are extremely easy to dodge under water. i dont know what influences swim speed but plate fighters and barbs in northern full always chase me down with weapon out, i have never once been able to escape someone by holding shift and swimming away as fast as possible, and the moment they get close enough to hit me once its immediate death with no hope. theres no where to kite on many islands so jumping in the water becomes inevitable and is almost always a death sentence.

Other solution would be to make watermap more common and not like a 2% chance to appear. It feels like crypts back to back because devs had panic too many people jump off hr thus they did this shadowpatch that you can see in #📢announcements. Give all maps the same chance to appear 1/4. Other games all have 2 servers for testing before officially applying, most of them test for a few months in the second server together to edit and unify, but this game went from glorious to rock bottom, using the remaining players as guinea pigs to test the game, the devs of this game do not have a testing team or smart people to give opinions, from season 5 all the updates are meaningless, season 6 from 40k players dropped to 5k because of removing solo mode, it took 2 months to bring back solo mode but there was a new move which was random map after the delay, the worst map players want to see is Sea map

i think these are some of the biggest problems with the water map, though the map is growing on me:

1. there are very few portal extracts, and the new extracts are more complex and not explained at all, so extracting is a challenge until you look it up or someone tells you how the new extracts work
2. pirates, one of the most common enemies, have a multi swing combo attack, making them a steep learning curve for low skill players used to the single swing attacks of most enemies on the other maps - some people have plenty of trouble dodging a single swing, let alone a combo attack
   also, having to wait for a combo attack makes fighting a single pirate take longer which kinda sucks
3. spells and ranged weapons have less range and are harder to use underwater, so there's a learning curve for fighting players and mobs underwater unless you're strictly melee
4. a lot of the loot is underwater, but the underwater mobs lack cheese tactics that people like to use on the more difficult mobs on the other maps - in other words they take more raw skill rather than map knowledge to kill without taking damage

overall people get a very negative first impression when they play the water map, and getting people to like the map even after improving it is going to be an uphill battle especially with the community's history of bandwagon hating things

i suggest that Ironmace make new maps very easy to play, loot, and extract from at first, and then increasing the difficulty later

you make good points but the map doesnt belong in a game like this because it causes way too much inconsistancies and unfair gameplay

for example wizards and rangers have superior advantage getting on high ground, on water map there is nothing but high grounds, surely they have hard learning curve pvping under water but they still have range while other classes might not have the same capabilities

considering that you are also put in mid game most matches people who were in before you had plenty of time to get up on the highest points to just shoot you down, thankfully sdf did reduce the amount of teams being placed in the water map but its still very hard to fight against

this game when you spend days upon days farming and getting kits worth 100k gold you dont want to lose it due to someone being lucky and getting into a game earlier than you having advantage over you right as you spawn in
at least not being forced into a map that you do not want to play or find enjoyable in any way
I played the map plenty of times when it released and I just dont find any aspect of it enjoyable, its personal preference, I dont think it belongs in this type of game where everything is on the line and you can lose a week worth of progress in matter of seconds

Used to run TM caster and demon demon warlock hybrid. It was pretty mid but fun. Was excited when I heard they tweaked demon lock a bit. Thought maybe they made the transformation shorter or allowed the healing to scale with magical healing (would have loved that for my build specifically). Especially since Kris was back. Unfortunately they killed demon lock completely lol. Being stuck to punches is diabolical

Last thing to do on my to-do list was to obtain the spear but it looks like I am not allowed to farm it the way I want. Its not like I did not try, trust me I did. I already killed over 20 highroller stingrays, but no artifact in sight. Which is fine btw, I am fine with rare drops. This gives me a reason to actually boss and repeat the content. However I cant do that because sdf seems to be convided that random maps is the way. I disagree with him. Its also not helping to resurrect highroller, on the contrary it kills highroller eventually. I wonder why they dont understand this, because they got acces to statistics, but I should not be suprised, because its the same people to not play their own game. I would love to see the devs solo highroller stingray, but under same conditions as we have to deal with. By that I mean I want to see them 10-20 ques in before getting the map and then I just give them 1 try to kill the boss. I dont allow a second chance. Dying means queing 10+ times again and repeat and if they managed to do that, I might consider taking them seriously

I am playing the most niche shiit possible. A full will penguin druid that is straight up trash outside of water yet I am forced to play outside of water maps 80% of the time. Aint no way the devs did not think this through. Even breathing pots in general. You need them or else its ggs, you will die cause the fight takes too long. So we have to carry overinflated breathing pots that we prolly not even use 90% of the time on other maps. They have zero value outside of watermap and the devs didnt think this through? Wow we got 2 new artifacts, so what? we cant even farm them correctly
