CAN BARD SPAWN BUFFED IN ARENA? so many maps im already rushed before ive finished buffing, for example 330 ms rogue wiz sorc or purge shot ranger before im able to finish buffing at the highest playspeed 50% Manual dexterity also skipping max notes. bard imo weakest class in arena for sure good players can make it work but with Warlock spell pred / weakness and purge shot ranger on everyteam its not balanced 180 hp 45 pdr and im two tapped by longbow with purge shot.

I believe phys power just contributes to your phys power bonus, additional weapon damage is more damage for your weapon (so if you have a longsword with 45 dmg, then +2 add weapon dmg, that longsword now does 47 dmg) additional weapon damage contributes to limb modifiers aswell, someone can correct me if I'm wrong

so a BIS kit ranger's arrows have way less delay, so it's way easier to hit their shots
on top of being able to shoot much more often with tons of damage

if they nerfed action speed's effect on the bow's shoot delay, ranger would be way more balanced imo

im fine with them being deadly at range. It's the fact that after I close the distance I have to flip a coin on surviving multishot and then if I live through multishot I have to fight spear + backdash. Basically have to close the distance without taking too much dmg, bait multishot, then bait backdash and close again and then fight them

on wizard you just have to get in range of explosion and zap and win the shootout, which is fine. On bard, as long as I don't get shot up too bad I can lament + shriek and chop em up. I hate fighting them on barb tho

Not too many ppl use the quarterstaff, it used to have no sour spot and more ppl used to use it, but after it had sour spot added the use went on a decline. Hello there, I'm a hardcore veteran of this game. I started playing during its fourth closed beta and immediately purchased the Founder's Edition when it officially launched. I've watched the game's concurrent players drop from 100,000 to 3,000, only to recover to 10,000 today. I have achieved Demigod rank in every season and witnessed every single change the game has undergone. I'm well aware of the game's current predicament — if it refuses to evolve, it will only face extinction.
First off, the current 10,000 concurrent players are a false prosperity. A large number of players and merchants are AFK at the trading post, not venturing into matches but only chasing profits. Even if we assume just 10% of them (which is 1,000 people, though the actual number is likely higher) fall into this category, we then need to exclude free-to-play players. They mostly stick to casual lobbies or PvE content, accounting for roughly half of the remaining player base — around 4,500 people. Next are the arena-only players, who only log on when the arena is open. Subtracting another 500 from the 4,500 leaves just 4,000 players who actually play High Roller matches.

And the High Roller experience is abysmal. I almost never play Solo High Roller — clearing mobs alone is a huge drain on my energy. Only specific classes and builds can defeat all bosses while dealing with greedy teammates. The only upside is that there are relatively few cheaters. Duo High Roller is hands down the best mode among Solo, Duo, and Trio High Roller — no complaints there, but finding a reliable teammate is extremely difficult. Trio High Roller is the mode I play most, but it suffers from the same teammate problem. The game's gear system means every normal High Roller run comes with extremely high costs. Going up against well-geared players with subpar equipment is practically impossible. That's why having teammates willing to invest in good gear is so crucial. However, most players don't have a fixed team, making it incredibly hard to find two people to run High Roller with. The sunk cost is too high, and you never know the skill level of random teammates — losing is far too common.
As an Asian company, you must understand how demanding work hours are here. Almost all players of this game are adults who simply don't have the time to maintain a consistent team. This is why fewer and fewer players are joining High Roller matches. Additionally, High Roller is plagued by cheaters. While blatant aimbots are almost non-existent now, wallhackers are everywhere. They lurk just outside the toxic zone, waiting to ambush you and steal your loot the moment you let your guard down, then retreat back to safety. You can't chase them at all because they always know where the safe zones are. It wouldn't surprise me if the game eventually turns into a generic MMORPG — and that would be the end of it.
With that said, I have several suggestions for you:

1. Retaining Players: Increase Game Content
   Continuous updates are a must. Seven seasons have passed, but the amount of new content added is pitifully small. I can finish all the new content of each season within the first month, and then it's just repetitive gameplay that gets more boring as time goes on. I acknowledge that you've made many small balance adjustments — they help, but not enough. Furthermore, events are essentially just ways to earn premium currency, which doesn't bring any new vitality or fun to the game. I understand you're a small company, and frequent content updates are impossible compared to major studios. However, at the very least, you should introduce new items, monsters, or mechanics every two months (even if they're temporary, like Apex Legends' event-themed content). You can remove them later — this would greatly maintain player engagement. Content updates are absolutely critical.

2. High Roller Balance Adjustments
   Remove Movement Speed entry from Shoes: This is the most balance-breaking stat. A character's movement speed should be determined by their overall build. If they want high health and armor, they should sacrifice movement speed; if they want high agility, they should lose out on other stats. But movement speed entry on shoes make agility nearly irrelevant — a good pair of shoes can replace multiple agility entries, fundamentally undermining build diversity and turning everyone into overpowered "superhumans." This is completely unacceptable.
   Reduce Gear and Teammate Costs: Here's a bold suggestion: make all gear spawn with maximum roll, and allow gems to be socketed at full roll immediately. This way, gear tiers are still preserved, RMT (real-money trading) will be severely hit, and cheating will likely decrease as well. High-tier gear will still be valuable, while low-tier gear will remain viable. Gear names and their unique effects can stay unchanged. This change would drastically lower the cost of purchasing gear and make losses more bearable. If I lose a match, I can just run another to get fully optimized gear again and compete with well-equipped players on a more level playing field. Players who invest in top-tier gear will still have an advantage — this system merely narrows the absolute gap between them and other players. This is extremely important, as it doesn't undermine the variety of gear entry combinations (since gems can still be used to customize entries to one's liking).
   Strengthen Skill Weight: For High Roller PvP, reduce skill cooldowns and enhance skill effects. This will lower the relative importance of gear without completely negating its value, unlike previous updates that ruined gear progression.

3. Add Customizable FOV
   Being able to adjust the field of view (FOV) is crucial. In a game like this, vision is everything, but the current FOV is far too small, making it easy to lose track of enemies during fights.
   Finally, every word I've said comes from 3,000 hours of gameplay. I truly hope you can keep this game running for 10 years, not just struggle to survive until the end of this year. This game has great monetization potential — I suggest selling shared stash tabs and additional trading slots. No one will oppose this, and dedicated players (who are already willing to pay for an expensive game) are more likely to spend money on such convenience. RMT is already rampant because players can profit from it. As long as you deliver quality content and sell non-pay-to-win items, plenty of people will buy them.
   Last but not least, hire a competent game designer or community manager as soon as possible. The current direction isn't sustainable. Don't forget that you split off from your previous company, and it was the players who supported you. Don't forget the promises you made on your original official website. I hope for a better future and look forward to your changes.

Solo HR has been the worst since playtests for me this wipe. At least in EU, it's just full of rogues. Now that they nerfed throwing knife, all rogues switched back to stealth. Not fun to play against, unfortunately. But I am enjoying HR in duos.

If you are talking about solo HR EU, it's probably because it has been infested with rogues since wipe. Now that throwing knives were nerfed, pretty much every rogue switched from mosquito build to hide.

There is no fun to be had in matches like that with 3-4 rogues and no counter play from any class. This wipe I played the least solo HR since playtests and I'm better off without it. But duo HR is a lot of fun still

Yes, I use a longsword. I just start with gray equipment and a white longsword. If you're skilled, you can kill one in about 5 minutes.

I tried arch raiders for first time (a 3rd person shooter looter extractor), and its definately in competition with dark and darker in terms of the gameplay loop of looting and PVP. True damage basically ignores things like limb or headshot damage modifiers, or defense. So if you suck at aiming but can land hits quickly, true damage is king. True damage doesn't scale at all, so on slower weapons it feels bad but on faster weapons it adds up stupid fast.
