You also now can't build for the situation you're entering. Because every round is solo's unless you're premade with the possibility to trios or being 1v3ed. so rat builds are ideal.
Also ranged MASSIVELY benefitted from no name tags as you can keep track of the situation why melee is a literal melee like just chaos and TKs and mistakes.

If a group of players including Fighter Ranger and Barb sees only one Druid, it probably won't be a problem for them who the opponent is during the fight. I think it was more because the SDF has a high EGO and no one used their scarves in this game and wanted to force players to use something they added to the game, which is rarely used in reality.

Yes, or they could hire devs from other cultures on their team and adopt a group approval method instead of having a lead dev that's actually judge, jury, and executioner. I'm not even going to waste time beating up SDF, I'm just going to say that his ideas would be better tempered and executed by an experienced sounding board. And I think the decision to have it the way it is is based on their culture and not a consideration of what works best wholistically.

If you look at other major titles that come from China, South Korea, Japan, etc they all have their own versions of SDF at varying levels of success. Some of which are famous for what they do like Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear), Kogi Igarashi (Castlevania), Hidetaka Miyazaki (Dark Souls).

Normally I don’t listen to the noise of people screaming about balance or mechanics or game modes. However, forcing trios AND REMOVING MATCHMAKING is an unreasonably stupid decision. Objectively how can anyone support that? Any game that forces me to hunt for teammates is not fair. 1v3s are not fun or engaging. Cleric isn’t winning a 1v3 almost ever.

And just with the removal of teamfill, the raids fill organically again instead of it having more trios over anything else. Now we just need that more content coming. 👍

All ranged and reach weapons is the current meta. I see 3 ranger squads all day because it takes 2 hits to kill someone and takes less skill than Sorc. Sorc being the high skill cap class is also way over-powered. It has way too many CCs, knockbacks, knockups. Its cool but its excessive.

Yes, I use light classes, and so far, warlock doesn't make sense in this One Shot meta. I have many videos where I hit my enemy multiple times with the two curses plus two headshots with a longsword, and they don't die. in short, they'll be all undercooked at best

I think legacy is the best title in the genre, but its 3rd person, has no market(capitalism mode) and just doesnt provide a alternative for DaD in most regards. The mechanics are well thought out and content wise they are coming along. The biggest problem in legacy is the sweatyness+hich skill ceiling. But it doesnt work for me, too floaty, just not my thing. All the other titles like mstfall, midnight walkers are a bit of a joke to me tbh.. Mistfall covers the soulslike niche a bit, at least.

Speaking of teaming up in the dungeon... Yesterday I met a ranger warlock combo, who teamed up with me, and they spoke some kinda language that I didn't even knew what it was. I proceeded to loot the room, while they went off to another room, where they died to a duo of shield barb and slayer fighter, blaming it on me. I almost killed the fighter, but with cleric, 2v1 against a team with comms is way too hard.

New patch certainly fixed a few issues introduced in the last one, their refusal to bring back solo and duo queue is honestly perplexing, solo and duos made up 70% of players. I know SDF doesn't gaf about what we as players want but honestly I'd be glad to just have him make 2 different games atp, turn the test server into his slop fest and keep the normal server as the good game that thousands of people already enjoy

Jean, there's an LFG feature here is Discord and until RMM is turned back on it's your only way to get a party outside of maybe finding people who'll let you join in-game which is really rare unless you're doing god's work and they have a spot open.

Just put ssf for arena when new wipe start. Then ppl will have a goal in game. Ofc if you say that in middle semi wipe and let two days for ppl to get stuff, there will be nobody.
