Gg i am done with the game after 3k hours, over 2 years of playing, that SSF arena bait was to much for me, uninstalling now, no more hope for this game. To the people defending the current game; I get it, I really do.
But many of us have been holding the line since the start and have seen how IM operate over the past 3 years, eventually you realise that they haven't got a clue in how to make the game work (made from scratch in under 2 years, yet cannot bring out meaningful content in 3 years).
The flip flopping is tedious, and trust me, eventually you'll get sick of it too and move on as well.
If the game is still around in a years time (and I have low expectations that it will be), I bet we're more or less in exactly the same position as the game is in now, but with even fewer players.

The only way to bring players back is by bringing solo queue back. Turn on name tags in both hr and normals. Just keep trios and solo queues separated. Removing name tags of party members is only going to make people who play trios mad. Not having party name tags is a reason that made many people quit Tarkov.

Ok, I just spawned in on ruins norms with my trio. We spawned in the module above spectral night. 6 seconds after spawning (no exaggeration), a solo barbarian charged us. We killed him, but only after getting dragged into cockatrice. I pull the cockatrice into a spot to cheese it. Before the cockatrice was dead, two more teams showed up. My whole team died in the module we spawned in 2 minutes after loading in with a total of 10 players occupying that space during that time.

Normally, I could stomach this level of BS, but this time around, I couldn't even see my team's names amidst all of the chaos. You can say "get better," and you're right; I could get better tactically at recognizing where my teamates are, and we could have better coms to get through the insanity. Problem is, all of my friends dropped this game, so I link up with random people every match using the LFG in this server, so our coms are always poor.

I could understand removing names for high roller, but for norms? WTF? That just makes the experience worse for everyone who is not a solo, and clearly the solo experience is not a priority... so why ruin the experience for the target population?

farmn spectral you need as much damage and swing speed as possible, its impossible to get hit so vigor is nothing. Almost all classes can take several hits

Have all maps on like 10s rotation, and give 3 buttons: Queue for GC, Queue for Ruins, Queue for IC, and whenever your maps appears on rotation, you auto queue into it
That way we have a set number of 9 queues if we bring back solo and duo regardless of the number of maps available

The only problem would be the ever increasing number of buttons, but that's not as big of a deal as big number of queues oe removal of gamemodes

The zero risk of pvp in adventure mode is meant to be the relaxing part, the tradeoff is the lower quality loot

The reason artifacts only drop in high roller is because it's the most difficult mode, so it needs the biggest rewards

Realistically the change did not need to be made. Lack of playerbase to play arena = the stupid flip flopping between removing all random modifiers, and also solos/duos at the same time. Majority of playerbase that is missing is because people want solos/duos. More people playing the game in the queues they want = more people excited and willing to hop into arena. They changed it to market bought thinking that would fix an issue that doesn't even exist.
