Just be prepared to die whilst you learn. Dont get disheartened, no one hops on this game and is instantly good. The perk Iron Will on Barb is very good as it negates knockback effects (which is good for chasing people) and gives you magic resistance, you could pair that with Francisca Axes and the Skill - Achilles heel, which slows them. So u throw axe , slow them , then close the gap and swing

Yeah lol, its a steep learning curve but once you get the basics down youll be fine. Id just stick to getting the fundamentals down first (Dodging, Kiting, Chasing, PvP) then start learning bosses. And the easiest boss imo is the cave troll

The game is ultimately ran by a 🐵 dev who continuously pushes widely controversial and disliked patches to satisfy his own “vision” for the game. Every other week the game changes drastically just to either be reverted due to warranted backlash or to buff/nerf skills and gear that NO ONE is asking for, instead of pushing out actual content that’s been promised for months/ years.

F2P is practically no longer a thing, now the free to play players are put into lobby in which they can only use COMMON grade gear (you can literally buy it from vendors it’s completely useless). They are pushing f2p players to either buy the game, play for nothing, or quit. It used to not be like this.

After 3 years of solos, duos, and trios queues, the lead dev SDF decided he wanted to REMOVE solos and duos. The game is ONLY trios now despite a large amount of the playerbase being solos. Ironmace is also refusing to refund the players who are upset they are basically losing the game they paid for within the last 3 years.

The game will soon probably die because of 1 selfish manchild of a developer who acts upon his own accord, disregarding his fellow devs advice, alongside completely ignoring the opinion of the community.

One where we have OG kits (cuz he gonna ruin the items n such) so we can play with socketing crap, one where you only go into a dungeon against your own class, one where you can mess around with AI players (same as Tarkov), one where you can do every color of gear score (green lobby, blue, purple, etc), one where you can just run by yourself with no one else (PVE but no grief), and loot only lobbies where you don’t lose your kit but you can only collect sellable stuff, and just for the shits - make a lobby where you can have like 8 perks and it’s the most chaotic lobby possible (like URF mode in league of legends) or something 😂

They've merged servers and queues to cut costs. There are all sorts of issues now that weren't there before. Sticking to the spot, spells not casting and rubber banding are among the worst.

Flanged is better for shield fighter without taking the damage dip loss into weapon master, you can use counter attack for a faster repose swing. But morning star does scale better in tiers. So basically preference.

Like I said the smiter build had decent pdr if you plan on face tanking with the war maul on cleric I’d advise against that. Maul on barb would be better then with the giant health pool. The smiter build allows you to do a good portion of dmg before actually engaging melee. But if you stack pdr with judgment without any move speed any class with move speed 300+ is gonna out run you or kite you.

You would want spell memory for the holy strike with the perk that gives you move speed when landing so. So you can either do smite OR judgment from experience I can promise you full melee cleric with zero spells gets rid of 30% of your pdr without cleric bubbles and heals.

How are people getting the infinite dreamwalk build in arena? I have a kit with buff and debuff on every piece but it’s nowhere near as good as what I’ve seen. Is it cool down reduction I need?

Yes, Ressourcefulness/Cooldown reduction also have an impact on Dreamwalk cooldown. So you need debuff and cooldown reduction

It’s probably way to late but I think the best thing for this game would be to get rid of SDF and Terrence. We definitely don’t need devs that “forget” that they test things and more so don’t even try to look things up to see if they tested it in the past. That’s why changes keep going back and forth. Considering certain members of the dev team are highly suspected of that, it wouldn't surprise me. But I can tell you that I'm not a straight up doomer, I've been playing half the day, but it really isn't worth spending money on right now. As we speak there are 3911 players...the game is on the verge and this ridiculous "semi-wipe" coming up is going to hit even harder.

Plus, the servers are in a right state. I've been stuck in place, rubber banded and had spells/attacks just not happen all day.
