Original vision was built around trios, but since they didn’t stick too it and it’s been so long and people fell into having more fun in solo and duo they shouldn’t have tried going to the original vision this late into the game.

Why solo self found is bad:

1. one way of balancing the game is that builds or class that are being too much played will cost more, also builds that are not being played cheaper
2. mid players cant compete against chads that dont lose a single pvp, so in a meta with gear gap you will make a greater gap between good players and not that good
3. stashes will get full of gear you just dont use because you play one or two classes, making game and pvp unfun

2. there's no more circle next wipe so you can easily rogue on the map and avoid them
3. shared stuff isn't market / trade post and it makes people play other classes so you can just share your stuff with other characters you own

the next stage is HR with the mobs having more attack patterns / then pvp probably when you know how to build stuff for your class (discord channels with class discussion helps with builds when you start) and you can train pvp in squire lobbies but that will be sooo different with gear so i don't recommend

If they want to make all modes coexist in a single dungeon they could make it infinite (no time limit) and all modules refilling after some time. So that people can get out when they want and stay as much as they want. Maybe it would create a less stressful and pvp only environment for solos put with duos and trios. Obviously making the dungeon way more big adding all the modules instead of a rotation

this causes a lot of problems. Like a room resetting behind a solo player who is trying to run from a trio, only to run into a direction they thought was safe but no longer is. If there's no timer, then escape portals need to spawn indefinitely, and I think there are already too many ways to escape. This also won't really protect solo players from trios who are just blitzing the dungeon way quicker than a solo can and running them down like is already happening

there's no way to guarantee you still don't just spawn right next to a couple of full teams. They should just bring back solo queue. Keep duo out if they're worried about lobby size

The problem is that they want all to coexist in the dungeons but they incentivized the pvp way too much in these years, even by saying teaming of every form is bannable in hr. If the blind vision wants a more natural dungeon he has to rethink some rules about teaming and respecting people (with some limits clearly)

I liked patch 69, base gear having very similar stats regardless of rarity, just with additional random modifiers. if random mods go away and are just changed to empty sockets I think things would be better as far as gear goes. The socketing system should change to just be a token that drop like the seasonal event tokens.

Gear should be an avenue in which to diversify and fine tune your playstyle, I think it's such a boring thing to be the primary and most coveted loot. Treasure and other trinkets play into the fantasy way more for me. I'm gonna advocate for rare cosmetic drops in-dungeon until I lose my voice. It's just way more fun. Also, every skin based on a creature from the dungeon should drop from that creature at an extremely low rate

This exact thought crossed my mind as well. It's really unbelievable someone would make decisions like this that will so obviously kill the game.

My conspiracy theory is that they legitimately aren't that skilled as developers and have reached the peak of what they know how to do. Which would explain the years of minor adjustments, shuffling ideas in and out of the game every couple patches. I think they legit just don't have the skillset to do more than that and have been farming as much money as they can from this base game. Probably now have come to the realization that it's dried up and server costs are probably making it unattainable to keep it going much longer.

So now, it's time to crash this shit into the ground and make it look like it died of natural causes and bad decisions from the devs. Then they just move on to a new project.
