Head prot wont save you much, HP + MS is your friend, and building tank takes money/time to get to while sacrificing so much more - better to just learn how to control AI positioning better and do bait/punish

Glad I could actually talk to some people about this game and they agree and even give some of their insight. I love the concept of the game. Dungeonborne was awesome on release too but players quickly saw the awful shit it also had with some of its balancing. Devs did literally N O T H I N G for months and the game actually went to the grave. If SDF actually stays with the game until its death I seriously hope he learns he's not as good at leading the game as he may think.

So, if you have 4 true Phys damage you'll deal 20 extra true damage over five hits, but with 4 true magic damage, your last stack of poison does 10 extra magic damage, and with repeated hits you can refresh that duration too

to make hydra works you need a brain first of all. Hydra is used to block and spread people in duos or trios. In solos for trappoing someone and dont let him escape. Is used to put it behind your enemy and then hit him with your sword while hydra hits him from the back while blocking his steps when he goes backwards. Of course this last trick is good with armor plate warlock instead of full caster warlock.

Most actual smart rangers arent going to fall for bait and try to push far. The moment you're not in eyesight for some time they'll be very cautious to retain distance.

The issue is that lets say you enter an area, ranger is legit across room and you pretty much now have to run for cover or flee cause its just a really unfavorable match and lets say he got like 1-2 hits on you. Now you lost health and he controls the area because of his distance. And rangers are not helpless in melee with their spear and shotgun shot lol.

A hit from the Shortsword and a hit from the Arming Sword combined does more damage than a Bardiche does at the same rarities

It is fun to learn as warlock cause you can heal when learning monster attack patterns. Only issue is you could get too used to it and when you switch classes you are less careful about taking damage.

Warlock is solid in PvP once you can get your movement right. If people get close to you, if you haven't damaged them enough with curses you will usually lose unless you land a good parry
