We've known Barbarians were an issue before the game even came out of the playtests, we've known movespeed stacking was a problem since back then too. +All Attributes was blatantly broken from the very start and yet they kept trying to put it in, and every single time, the exact same thing happened and everyone stacked as much of it as they could, because why on earth would you not?

We've known that infinite healing was busted ever since Warlock got added, and yet patch after patch after patch they insist on trying to keep it despite it being fundamentally poor design. We've known that Druid was OBSCENELY poorly made since it was added and every single time they have tried to adjust it, the absolute best they've ever managed to do was shift the problem to a different portion of the class

Sorcerer launched with literally the same exact problematic spell that Cleric had back in the day when their swarm spell was able to kill people in under a second, and yet, it still launched with it.

There is zero internal testing. There is zero QA. Ironmace claims they have ~100 employees, and yet all their assets are from the Unreal marketplace, every map, every enemy, every item, every sound, every animation.

Don't forget, that ALSO got exposed previously, that Graysun used to pester streamers about what they wanted to see in the patch notes enough that the streamers were getting angry over it and said it live on stream, which lead to it getting outed that the discord they were doing that in was the same discord that during the playtests was defending a streamer who got caught with duped dev-only items that gave him superspeed and instant kill melee and was also full of cheaters and people who spend IRL money

@glad thunder just a tip about balancing not that i have any experience other than gaming for 27 years and been through many "balancing" patches is doing 1 thing at a time in small increments is far more effect than 10 buff to 1 class and than 10 nerfs nerfs to another 1 thing about buffing is, other things indirectly get nerfed and 1 buff maybe all you need before you nerf another, shit like this makes part of your player base basically unable to play your game or have to swap to meta and all you left with is a lobby full of 330 move speed barbs 1 hitting anything that isn't a barb straight w keying every thing with little to no counter play

And facing 1v1 rogue with me being geared and him not being geared and still almost dying.. (And no there is no skill behind just trying to go 1v1 no duking just pure stabby stabby vs paws.
The nerf to stats hurt low GS bracket.
Dmg is lower.. quite a bit.
Panther is more squishy.
The 2 jumps are.. weird change. I I get 2shot by barbs or wizards, 2 jumps wont help, or you really have to play the "mosquito" which is not fun and people hate the "reset" factor of a druid the most generally.
They made it even more pronounced now.

It’s not no reason, it’s changes made the the payed version of the game for the benefit of the paid version.. f2p is like a trial so you can get a feel for the game and then buy it. Not play for free forever.

As a sorcerer you likely don't want to stack armor. Focus on having decent move speed and poking the enemy then dash in with lightning dash and finish them off.

Take lightfoot boots, they're a pretty huge boon especially in solos. Look for gear with MS or Agillity on it and pay close attention to what the MS penalty of gear is.

Start by experimenting with squire gear and seeing what works for you. Look at your character's full stat list in your inventory and then change your gear up. You're looking for at least 300 MS.
When enemies get close to you you can blast them back with your cylcone spell as well. It creates some extra distance.

The way i think of class building is simple

Dmg stat > Move speed > HP

This is usually the breakdown i use when building for classes.

Focus on gear that grants you an important stat for your character (will, pdr, phys power)

Then focus on insuring your ms is at a good value (make sure your gear has add ms rolls on it or use agi gear)

Finally having hp rolls on gear is always good as health is bis

Rarity-based is better because Gearscore creates arbitary balance considerations. Like Barb can take the bonus of not wearing a shirt to take higher GS elsewhere. Certain classes can get away with running only 1 weapon set saving a lot of gearscore but others are significantly disadvantaged by doing that. Off-handers are worth less gearscore so things like Stiletto's are easier to bring in than Castillons. Stuff like that.
