Looking at the items in the marketplace, I am looking at uniques. is there any point in using uniques over Legendaries? I get that they have the HIGHEST base stat. but he problem is that legendaries come with 4 random buffs, but the uniques only come with 1.

it really depends on the class but i personally would only invest in luck unqiues cause basically unqiues break the stat cap and ik i have 1 unique that i bought from trade hall its a chest piece with like 254 luck on it

but it really just depends i really havent used uniques a whole lot myself

There are a lot of us, if you search the discord, then there are enough people who would like to return 0-24! But judging by what SDF said in a recent stream, Skinny Pit. They are more concerned about how to make a buff for the barbarian again. This is the strategy of these developers, they do some crap, then cancel it, then return it, and pretend to work, and the game will hang in beta for 8 years. Well, just judge for yourself, on the stream before the wipe SDF said that 60% of players play in 0-24, so what? He takes and removes the 0-24 mode. Now all the people who played a fun mode without grinding for 2 years can go play another game, thanks Iron Mace!

sdf is both the best and worst thing to happen to this game. Like yes sdf, thank you for giving us this game that we all love(d), but his quest for his "vision" has just ruined the game. This game could've been THE game, Ironmace's Magnum Opus, if it wasn't for sdf ruining his own prized game.

Instead of going back and forth with the numbers dial and going back and forth on stuff they add just to remove anyway, they could've spent that time adding real content and improvements to the game that last and actually make this game go somewhere, the game would be in a much healthier position than its in right now. Which is sad to see, the game did not need to be in the state it's in right now, but it is because sdf demands his "vision"

One game of PVE even if the troglodites scoop most of the lions heads and mini-bosses you can make enough gold to buy a cheap kit of gear for your class and be on a more even playing field. But in 124's you cant build an "unkillable kit" that only happens in 225+ and even then you can get outplayed in a god kit

Its player dependent, the game changes "feel" often but legendary status is permanent so youre basically asking if you should buy the game or not and honestly unless youre sweaty and want to play HR with the possibility of running against people who can see through walls in gear that 1 piece costs more than your stash, and in order to boss you have to spend 3k to spawn just to get third partied and lose your kit and boss, then nah i wouldnt buy it i would just enjoy the 124 lobbies.

For PvE trios with randoms, bless or divine strike? I find myself never using holy strike, like why would I in pve? Even for like ghost king, its just better to whack him or use holy puri or holy light. Bless is super dumb, but it got a major duration buff recently, so it might be ok? Divine strike basically turns my weapon into a 20k gold unique for about 15 seconds, but its only 4 casts before I need to recharge. Hard to decide.

What kind of role or playstyle is expected of a Rogue in 3v3? I feel that the more teammates there are, the less individual impact I have, so I can’t quite picture what kind of moves are ideal in a 3v3 setting.

if you got hide just stealth around to kill a ranged enemy, if you don't then the same but wait close to your allies

If you don't have hide then taking 2 hand crossbows is pretty good for a fast poke (its also fkin annoying)

Not really, rogues with silence pretty much delete spellcasters, might be harder against a ranger with backstep but if its a spellcaster like wizard, warlock or sorcerer then its a free kill

Quick question. Why are some of my attacks not hitting the pve mobs even though my attack is literally close to there body. I just started this game, went into a goblin cave, and the mummy is barely getting hit. Took me like 12 attacks to take him down because 70% of the attacks were not hitting him. Im using fighter.

this could be because of the fact that you were hiting him with a sour spot, that is basicly a spot on a weapon that deals less damage, for example, the morning star sweet spot (deals 100% of the damage) is the spike ball, the sour spot (deals 70% of the damage) is the wood handle of the weapon, its either that or the hit box is just bugged

Actually frustrated I quit the game when all gear got changed to being same base gear properties (patch 69 I think) came back hoping they fixed it and added content which they did great. But with this game they always have to ruin something after doing good . In this case adding adventure mode and removing above 125 lobbies from normals like why ? Game feels like trash rn literally last good patch was 68 why make these weird system changes

Adventure mode thins the pool of players in normals and HR but it also brought in a lot of players who werent interested in PvP.

The hope is that some of those players will "graduate" to the pvp modes over time.

I think that adventure mode is good for giving new players a chance to learn the ins and outs of the game without worrying about PvP.

But i understand the frustration with creating more queues and spreading the player count out.

You can complete quests in adventure mode but drops are significantly reduced. I think its a decent balance. PvE players still get progression but its very slow.

And with loot limited to epic and below, they need to go into normals and beyond to continue.

But eventually, youll hit a point where you cant get the loot you need to complete the quests. And, you may hit a point where the loot is so rare in PvE that you may go there just to get the demn purple bangles and gems that you need lol.

Clearing out map should not be problem after a bit of playing. It is a bit tricky at first before you learn movements of the enemies tho.
Play PvE if you are new to the game.

First learn how to survive NPC mobs..
Then you can try to find out how the PvP behaves.

You need lvl 5 - 10 - 15 to get your Class points for abilities or passive boosts.
Lvl 20 for the unlock of the Trading if you bought game.

Also.. Ranger is one of the "most skilled" classes I would say.
You actually have to aim.
You have to to predict movement.
Predict how arrows fall... etc.

Fighter is decent as you have armor.
But I think it is even easier to learn if you go for warlock + plate perk.
You can dot to heal yourself and learn how to move at same time.

It is hard to play proper ranger.. but if you find the "ONE" good one.. you will hate the fight against them.

I love bows, I have my own damn bow IRL.. but I cannot play ranger here, my aim is just not that good sadly for pvp. And even if you talk with people, you still catch your own team to your traps more than enemies.. 😄

If you can see top of his head behind the shield, you can hit headshot if he is in such bad position.
If you see feet or they swing so they expose body.. It is not "Shield is up, I'm not getting damaged."

No, jars drop sometimes pots, and spawn infinite spiders.

I guess I understand that, but at the same time.. a lot of people do not like to learn all the time and want to enjoy the game they learned.
And now comes the problem to devs.
Cater to the one or the other, or try to do a bit for both.
Right now.. I would say PvE is great thing for new players, because.. the pvp learning curve is extremely harsh currently when as you said "people know how to play already" compared to when "everyone was learning"

But the old players know the bosses, know the maps..
If you add few modules as they did.. maps got bigger, time is same, and the "random exits" just make you hurry and stress - for me .. no go, I do not want to stress in the game from pvp AND from trying to even find exit.

You would have to stop people from being able to pick their favorite map, or you would divide people into more ques .. how to solve it then?

This is not true. Ranger is very easy to play because 1 arrow does as much damage as 3 of any one elses attacks. So you really just need to have 30% accuracy to out perform any other class in the game.

Maybe hitting sorc-wiz .. casters can hurt decently..
But anyone with leather + armor is just "meh" if you are bad ranger it just stings.
If My druid or lock sees a ranger that does not make me a pincushion.. its free meal not even thinking about danger.

That's not even remotely true. Ranger is hitting every one for 50% of their hp regardless of armor in high gear. The class is insanely over tuned and very pick up and play friendly. It needs massive tuning and is #1 cited reason why people drop off the game right now

In general bows need massive nerfs. Namely to draw/release and reload speed.

Armor class/PDR means nothing. Bows have high armor pen and true phys is easy to stack the shit out of this patch.

At low gears where he was... ranger is not strong in my eyes at all. Yes if you tweak gear and go for bis, maybe.

He was even free player so he would not even join the tier you are talking about.

The problem with classes is that some are sucky and hard without gear, but are broken with gear.

If you nerf the base, low gs wont be fun or playable while tops will just switch to different build a bit and still break it.

AI do not play HR myself, I do not enjoy how it plays now, so I can easily talk with newbies and how it is on lower GS that I do enjoy.
The top ranks that use gear I do not even know exist.. what good it is for majority of players if it is literally different game.

When I just went with bard to pve for fun at start with no gear.. that was "um ok, doable easy"
Then I went with ham legendaries and stuff like that... it was like I had different character.. movement, speed, damage.. everything felt different... you need to balance both 🤷‍♂️

As a Ranger main since season 1.. It is strong but just on hr with good gear. When you hit All the shots It seems to be strong.. now try to hit All the shot to a veteran player. Arrows are so ez to dodge. Is about timing

So - a bug in-game led me to lose my items and the merchant did not bring them back even though it was PvE. I sent an email to support who told me to make a bug report in #report-a-bug. However, I see there at the end that we do not get replies to our reports. Does this mean there's no way to get the gear back ?
