I have a friend who plays at hours where I'm not around, but we still communicate on discord during the week. We exchange gear with each other on the weekends because that's the only time where we're not at work opposite to each other but if there was an in-game postal service we could use, then we wouldn't have to wait to send each other stuff!

Right now you lose money going into it so it's effectively a gold sink for fun

Like i buy a ton of bandages/potions/etc. and then burn them in arena and lose money after every match

So I can only play it so many times before I'm broke

unless I waste time looting DURING the match which isn't ideal since I need that inventory space for battle-related items. (Throwables, pots, bandages, alternate weapons/armor)

Another problem is that people don't like quick swapping equipment around during the match. I personally think it's fine because it makes the game mode less rock, paper, scissors

if you run into ranger and then pull out a pavise to counter him, that should be fine

Use one weapon. Dual wielding makes you lose even more movespeed. Get good with the rogue-only stiletto. It does more damage than rapier and it will force you to learn how to bait attacks and get within dagger range between attacks.
