hybrid doesn't usually work all that well to be honest. id start out with smite and divine protection for actives, run faithfulness as a perk because it works with smite, then blunt weapon, perseverance and probably protection from evil

cleric is very slow when tanky, but is also extremely powerful right now in melee. people will try to run from you when you pop smite

bard in solos i would run rapier + survival bow with lots of true phys and play very annoying, if you can land enough bow shots to guarantee the melee win it can work

theres a lot of cheap easy W key classes dominating solos rn, fighter, barb, cleric so you need to be able to run faster than them

i think 3v3 bard is my favorite though, tons of micro managing but so rewarding being able to control the pace of the fight

Yes, adventure mode, go to one of the edge tiles called Armory IIRC - unlike the one at Barbican, Armory will show you the full values as opposed to your damage doing like 25ish.

From my experience, barb either performs extremely well or very poorly from situation to situation.

If you can actually get into melee range, it tends to stomp whatever its facing. But if they can kite and whittle you down, youre cooked.

I generally dislike barb for this reason bc it feels OP at times but also completely useless other times. Needs some sort of change to make it more consistent. But maybe its a skill issue on my part.

Its not always about running someone down and catching them in a chase. There are ways to outsmart a faster player and catch them in a bad position. Also you have achilles to slow people down.

Cleric divine and smite is just free gear. And if you learn druid you can be almost unkillable with all the goofy movement techs
