I think a sensible criticism would be that people can't play around with builds and try out strange kits if they wanted. But it's only for a month and theyve had all the time predating the change to try this, so i still dont value that sentiment much either.

Good storage is what helps items hold value, if gold were to end up on just a counter then stash space and therefore gear would be far less valuable, the supply of items would be much higher and therefore decrease value significantly. It would not be good for the game to just remove gold storage, although making it easier to craft slightly could help.

First off, huge shoutout to you all for making such an awesome game. I've been loving it so far and can’t wait to see where it goes!

I had a thought about the character slots, and I wanted to throw it out there. Right now, we get 8 character slots with Legendary status, but I noticed there are 4 unused slots in the UI. Since there are 8 classes, I was wondering if it’d be possible to add those 4 extra slots (for a total of 12). Here’s why:

Try New Archetypes Within Classes – More slots would let players experiment with different builds for each class. You could set up different characters based on the playstyle you’re aiming for, whether that’s solo, duo, or trio. Right now, a lot of people feel locked into one style because of the limited slots.

Flexibility for Different Playstyles – With more slots, players could have a tanky build, a DPS build, or a support build for the same class, allowing them to adapt their playstyle depending on whether they’re playing solo or with a group. It’d give more strategic depth without the grind of constantly swapping gear or deleting characters.

Better Storage Management – With more slots, players could organize their gear per playstyle or archetype, keeping things more organized instead of juggling items between characters or having to reset everything every time they want to switch things up.

I understand there might be some concerns about server load or balancing the economy, but I think it could be a win for both flexibility and the overall player experience. Maybe these extra slots could be unlocked over time or through in-game achievements to keep it rewarding.

Anyway, just a thought. Thanks for considering it, and keep up the amazing work! 💯

Man, I'm sorry, but SDF has been taking one step forward and two steps back since Dark and Darker was released. Every time the game feels like it's getting better it finds a way to kill people's desire to play. SDF should remember that people play games for fun, the changes they want to make to HR will just make the game tedious again, killing most of the fun along the way. Ever since arena mode was added to the game, normal matches and HR should have focused more on the PvE side of the game and left the PvP focus for arena mode. Most of your player base only play HR for the season rewards, why not focus more on that part? Who knows, maybe you'll even get to monetize certain things.

It removes the destination and makes the whole game the journey, the most fun part of games like this is the grinding and reaching your goal, not having everything at your fingertips.

I won't play a game that is not worth my time though, just cuz I enjoy grinding doesn't mean my time is infinite.

there's that club swing and its just so satisfying when you land the chest -> head rapier combo swing dodging in and out.

player count is very healthy. Never have problems on US east. 13k players in the dungeon rn which is pretty good. It's end of wipe, so people are falling off. It's a healthy game, definitely some balance issues. Just check it out for a bit and see if it does the trick.

There's probably less new content than you'd think if you quit a while ago, but there's a decent amount of new stuff and classes.
