i think the best system for preventing pre-teaming is to have a server end system that keeps track of how often you encounter other players and gives weight to the lobbies, essentially if you encountered the same person three times you are blacklisted from the same lobby for a while

It can be pretty lame in fairness. I am the kinda person who just wants to PvP and finds teaming pretty cringe. I don't think it should be banned though personally.

Ultimately I think this divide between player expectation and Ironmace's intent stems from making a solo queue in the first place. If you make a solo queue people are gonna expect to go against solos. Teaming was less of a problem when everyone was in the same team size queue.

the teaming rule in highrollers cant be inforced you can provent pre teaming but in the thick of it teaming cant be done theres just no way unless a video recording of every match is taken, thats why cs2 has a system like overwatch in place. theres no way to tell "teaming" from wrong place wrong time

in cs2s case its to dectet cheating or throwing but same princeable you cant just go off the log some times people are in the wrong place wrong time and just since they played bad does not mena there throwing

If they enforce gearscore brackets, no teaming, etc. Those things only benefit people with higher skills, as you cannot statcheck them as easily, or play a numbers game. As there is no skill based matchmaking, players of less skill oftenly get put on unwinnable fights, wich has brought a new tactic, opportunistic teams, they roam silently. Rush when conflict starts to be the third party and kill two teams in one fell swoop.

@glad thunder @zinc sparrow When Druid Nerf? Solo play in Highroller is a real disaster at the moment, because druids can kill you in a seconds with the bear form or the panther form you have buffed. Decide for more balance and undo this unnecessary druid buff.

Games like this always have people that lose more than they win, sadly they tend to leave. But if these players arent replaced by fresh people, then the next skillevel starts to enjoy the L machinegun, rinse and repeat as the comunity grinds out their population.

This is something more easily seen in WoW, where the lifetime end of PVP servers, is when 1 of the factions has 20 players, because they got crushed the F out of the game.

or better: if you kill someone add a way to "loot" their map and what they discovered already (honestly I don't know why you can't it fits perfectly with the dungeon asthetic)

Random dungeons actually probably benefits inexperienced players somewhat. With fixed and revealed maps, experienced players beeline to high value areas like bosses. With random dungeons and fog of war, experienced players are forced to wander aimlessly looking for high value areas instead. This gives less experienced players a chance to maybe fight a boss uninterrupted or look a high value room without having to fight for it.

If you want to tell me that the fight against overpowered druids is fair, then you haven't played against an op druid at all. No skill counts, only the class. It's easier against bad bear players, but usually the druids in the high roller aren't stupid. They can also oneshot you with high PDR if you're not careful. I'm especially annoyed by the panther form, classes without 65%+ PDR have problems quickly when the panthers are in melee range. Which can happen very quickly.

As a barbarian main, id say since he was wearing northern full tunic he probably had on iron will too. As far as the move speed id say that's near impossible in base gear so he was probably running agility gear and enchants with rage

As far as reckless attack, yeah it's great but it's so easy to space them because they have to give up agility or dex to really get that build working. Dude, barbarian are strong but cleric is more strong in melee than them if u full commit to it. Because cleric have some strong spells and armor+damage.
Barbarian if full commit is more like pure life+pure damage.

Them, skill will be great party of the fight. As both of you need to hit. Action speed play great role here.
Also achiles is not that strong, the -85pdr is much more strong skill.

Im barbarian/ranger but main druid and learning rogue/warlock.

In solo move speed is king. Id recommend brave hunter pants with Dex boots or lightfoots. Hands id say go leather gloves, vigor, or strength gloves. Pretty sure "zero skill expression" strats like w key barb and pdr fighter is only "rewarded" cause theres little room to make mistakes, and in a game where most of the skill is in macro movements; it just appears as if "zero skill expression" is rewarded

I think all the sessions I've quit this season was because of rats looting my shit after my team wipes an actual geared team. Like things can go to shit where I wipe 2-3 times in a row, but I'd be okay with that.

Banshee is my favorite boss. What's nice is that nobody does it so you can basically do it whenever you want. Though it's only worth it if you wanna hit pile.

I like fighting her. She's super easy and this patch they made her way easier. I think overall they reduced her health by 30%.

I liked fighting banshee last wipe but it took too long, this wipe she's in a really good spot with the health reduction.

Yea it's very audio dependant. There's lot of rng too. My advice to anyone learning banshee is 1. When she disappears, stand still and listen. Don't run around, strafe left and right, just stand still and listen and when you hear her that's when you move. 2. When she does her normal orb attacks ALWAYS look towards the orbs as soon as you hear them pop up. Seeing how far they are, how high up, will determine how you'll dodge them. If they are close and high, you can crouch and go TOWARDS them and not get hit. If you position yourself well you can get 1 or 2 hits in on banshee between volleys.

I have great hearing and Banshee was super difficult even after fighting her hundreds of times to get the fight down lol. It's rough having a slight hesitation in which direction the orbs are (or a lot of the attacks for that matter) determining if you're alive next second

the volleys are a movement commitment test, as long as you move in a straight line you won't get hit, crouching is (often) unnecessary but great for comfort, but you don't have to look at the volley at all as long as you move in a straight line

Appreciate the tips. The orbs seem to be what I'm dying to the most as well. It's annoying to try and hit her and correctly dodge the orbs. And sometimes you have no choice but to choose to dodge.

The fight is a lot of bs mechanics for rewards that are not very good

Banshee is 100% immune to damage during all phasing screams, including the scream to initiate the fight, but can be afflicted with status conditions (most important for rogue)

DO NOT jump her volleys, pick a direction and move in a straight line, if you feel unsafe moving towards them then crouch and look up.

use longer harder hitting weapons rather than smaller faster weapons, you want to be able to reach her head and hit hard between teleports and dashes.

If you are using a shorter weapon, bring a longer one anyway to deal with the large orb attack.

Count roughly how many hits it takes you to transition phases, for the third scream, get close before grabbing ghosts (AT LEAST 6 FOR MOST CLASSES) then transition her quickly.

For dealing with with teleport dashes while too deafened to hear, applying debuffs allows you to see the teleport location, as the debuff will be visible before she is (Like any Warlock Curse and Rogue's Weak Point)

When i help people learn banshee it's what people die to most. People get greedy and just go in for hits when they need to be dodging. Pay attention to the orbs! Everytime they pop up, LOOK. See where they are and then dodge!
