Honestly no, entitled studio derangement. This isn't an F1 team and it's not even some business analytics platform. Knowledge has to transfer if you're gonna let people go else how would they ever benefit from their previous work. IP sitting is one thing (that can go eat butt anyway because it's obvious when something is actually just stealing) but this game is made of principles built on by decades of gaming from original dungeons and dragons up to the battle royal fads on the 2020s. My premise was if you have to ask then I highly reccomend you do not attempt to pursue 200k. But yes it's 200k in scrolls. Don't do it, unless you're winning all your HR with special keys for uniques to sell then you'll have to grind for 200 hours and no life isn't worth that. Better to buy a skin for red gems even, 2 hour of real life work at minimum wage.

It's easy to dodge. I don't think the game is perfect but it's avoidability vs danger like everything else. Use shield, don't close on a ranger withother knowing what you're in for, they weapon swap speed is so low they can't defend themselves if they have a bow out.
Multishot as a concept is terrible in all video games yes. No one has ever done it usefully in real life manually, it's nonsense. So it's obvious they have it has a design choice and they decided it was balance in their perception.

There are classes that don't have access to shield. My question whoever is in charge of balancing is if the possibility to dodge it makes it oh so much okay then why don't other classes get 1 tap skills? Keeping it in and saying it's a balance design choice is exactly why people think SDF is a monkey who doesn't know anything about balance at all. It's just not fun to get 3 tapped by a geared and skilled ranger over and over just to learn to somehow juke and dodge his shots or rather get lucky that he was busy scratching his balls with his main hand just to gamble again on them missing a insta kill.

Most of the time the ranger doesn't miss every shot and you are already injured from the gap close. Spear and backhop are tools provided to them just to create space but instead they just 1 tap, it just feels bad.

Class matchup is really what is getting into this. You can die to that skill cause your class is countered by that.
If you focus a barb on damage, you die to ranged people mostly.
If u focus a barb on pdr u die to casters. And so on. There is toons of things to consider to se eif something is oppressive or not.

Multishot kills every class in the game who doesn't happen to have a shield though, even then what does the highest level of shield vs multishot gameplay look like? two dudes hugging and waiting for the other make a move.

I've been playing plate mail warlock in arena a lot, (of which I have a littany of grievances regarding arena but I don't want to get into them, especially when I expect IM to improve it) and I don't want to talk about whether or not my build is good/bad or how I should improve/change my approach to these rangers. I have managed to dodge and juke multishot rangers before and I will continue to do so but never once have I felt good about it. It's always a relief, a "Thank God that today I was spared." And how do I feel when I die to it? Horrible. I don't feel like I could've done anything better because they have a bs ability that quite frankly shouldn't be in the game.

(Honestly, I feel like Multishot's original purpose was to help rangers deal with invisible rogues but IM just left it as even after discovering it's bs 1 tap strength.)

Basically every single fight you wanna try to get curse of pain off for free healing. Take advantage of monsters this way, and curse as many things as possible for massive healing stacks. Power of sacrifice is also good, very useful against mobs but be wary using it on melee classes that are going to be able to reach you because while it does damage them and heal you, it gives a boost to their damage that can be dangerous. It's also easy to accidentally cast it on yourself (if you have no target it will cast on you) so just make sure to try and use it appropriately.
Generally speaking though power of sacrifice is good to use along with curse of pain, as torture mastery heals for every tick of curse damage.

Multishot is a skill mostly used in conjuction with a long bow or at least the recurve. It deals massive damage if all arrows hit, is a shotgun style of skill.
But you need to understand. Is not easy to aim.
Grab a ranger and give some tries. People who are really close to you will get 1 or 2 arrows mostly and sometimes 0.

Like every 10 rangers i kill that have multishot 2 3 actualy hit the skill on me as intended.
With my druid panther jump scare him mostly is not prepared.
As cleric use shield
As Fighter run and use shield.
As barbarian, keep kiting with francisca axes. u are supse to have like 6 8 of that.
As warlock u can pve for life and keep your distance>

All other class have better ranged options u can kite on until he reach bad life and u kill him.

Any long reach weapon... zweihander bardiche and so on give u a distance to atack him that only 1 arrow will hit you. To all arrows hit you, you need to be like kissing the oponent.

Is one of the few options rangers have to kill super aggro players and that is fair. If they did not have that, only backstep is not enough.

I would say as a new player, phantomize is extremely good for saving your skin. Blow of corruption hits extremely hard but phantomize is basically a "get out of jail free" card.
If you manage to get some more spell memory, you can actually equip a spell called "flame walker", cast it, then phantomize and it will leave a trail of fire behind you while you're a ghost.
Be warned that magic WILL hurt you in phantomize. You are not invincibile, so be careful using it around spell casters. But phantomize allows you to phase through enemies and players alike. You can also cast a curse, phantomize, and still be healed while being basically immune to physical damage.

I appreciate the intention to help by sharing advise but I'm trying to not get into the "do-this-don't-do-that" line of thinking because it's missing the point. Everyother skill based ability in the game does not deliver a potential 1 hit kill aside from, say, Longsword but even that weapon gives the opponent more control (+ it's not a single class dedicated thing).

The biggest issue with doing things like making druid casting better is that druid already has the most flexible kit in the game by far. I get it, I would love to see some of those spell counts go up. It's just tough giving them more toys to play with when they already have a lot.

idk if anyone here played path of exile, but i feel like if DAD had a similar craft bench system (gem slots) gearing would feel much better. Basically you just increased the range of modifiers in dropped items, EX: life on chest piece 3-7. Crafting bench life 3-5, so we have a bigger gap between crafting and found mods. But to compensate for that, we make the drop rates of crafting items much higher, so we can always run decent mods on our gear, but BIS would still be better. Also, crafting recipes for "minor artifacts" like wolf hunters pants, demonclad etc, have a large variety of recipes (wolf pelt not for Bag AND pants). That way players could build a variety of builds cheaper. Also remove +all, its just too OP for the game. Maybe add something like +1 dex +1 agi, that can roll +2+2 and you can benchcraft +1+1. (st vig, dex agi, kn will, etc). I Feel like gear prices just get out of hand with the current system. Also i think the mods should roll accordanly with the item base, for ex STR item should not roll magic damage bonus or will, instead increase the values of physical damage bonus, like 1% to 7% so you always find the mod you want, but the better rolls get more pricier. Just some thoughts here, hope some of you will read and comment on.

Geared rangers very easily out dps and I do juke them, it just doesn't feel good. If I manage to make it up to a ranger I want to feel good in my ability to dodge and juke and close the gap and be rewarded by being in my strengthzone not his.

If I were in a regular raid I might do the smart thing and not engage at all, either run away or do a invisibility play but in Arena you're often forced to fight (against giga geared players) and it often becomes a kite match.

Are u insane ? Bear will deal damage only if u commit to the STR atribute. Panther is same way.
Druid have 2 hit classes panther and bear.
If u commit to both the damage will not be all that great in both and you need to pay 40 50k to make a set to do that.

A cheap druid set is 10 to 15k, he expend mostly cause he need to up an atribute mostly.
Normaly u see druid in panther because is cheaper and more eficient than bear. So u just run from any fighter/melee class. And pursue squish ones to try trade and win.

yes, reposte attacks (parry attack) do like double. if u put a long sword on your character and equip it you can hit tab and see the stats. normal attacks are in the 40s while the reposte attacks are in the 70/80s. and thats before stats come into play lol

I will never panther on you cause panther is squishy, and with bear you can easy parry and 2 shot me.

As a fighter vs drud, i would use a recurve bow + long sword or a long reach weapon. With this in mind a druid cant outspace you.

I dont have trouble to deal with druids or to play with druid.
My barb 100k kit is 1 tap human form druid most of the time and 2 tap bear pdr. The -85% penetration skill is absurdly strong.
And ranger well, if u not playing around traps with ranger u are not playing ranger. Just an fighter with bow.

That is an example. Every single class that milions of way to counter other class. When u doing same stuff and expecting diferent results u are insane.

U can also cast and because the dealy u can make people take damage from one spell to another. Area control. That is the only 2 uses of spear.
