Yeah, they follow the traditional thematics, but not so much when it impacts mechanics. Barbarians in DND rage to increase pdr, barbarians in DAD rage to get faster and do more damage but decreases pdr :)) but i think it mostly has to do with the fact that DAD has to account for PVP while DND is mostly a PBE game

So basically the way the brackets work now is either you play in normals where the gear isnt worth anything and you can't advance. Or you die to 224 min/maxxers. Or you get a set together and go into 225+ and run into people where the lowest piece of gear is a legendary on them and die to stat check.... The gold system being FLOODED by online markets ruins the game for anyone not willing to violate the rules

Hot take but 224 is a terrible thing because I like to play around 380-400gs budget kits. When HR was together, that’s middle of the road and you win some you lose some. Now it doesn’t fit in 224 and in 225+ it’s dog because every other mid gear builder has gone down to minmax 224s.

Omg dude. You can't push a rogue that have invs, cause a druid need to walk in panther form. Panther form takes 2 hit and is dead.
You can push with bear. Bear is the only form for real combat, but is slow, is big and a door is enough to win over any druid.

You dont see many skilled players fighting a druid in games do you ? A rogue will never lose to any druid. The only way a druid can win over rogue is.
Better player, and better equip. ALso must take the rogue unprepared.

The problem is that HR used to be a mix of sauce levels. Anyone can afford a minmax 224 kit so they all left, leaving the 224s lobbies to be pure meta builds, while 225s is all gigachads and there’s no place to just wear a normal kit

Dude, thrust me. I killed many rogues. All the time i kill a rogue was 3rd party or they had subpar equip. Rogues destroy druids. You cannot push a combat to rogue.
They start throwing poison shit to you and you cant do nothing. as they do more damage than you healing.
Your heals end and they still throwin stuff and pushing, they also have inv and will win any combt. The only chance to a druid win is if they messed up and are cornered to bear.

old player returning. if you make the map random on the second floor why is the map still hidden it makes zero sense, theres nothing i enjoy more then walking around for 16 min and not finding ether a team or a set of portals to get out, it made sense when you first made it hidden learning the map was part of what separated an experienced player from a new one knowing where to go to get out, but with the random room generation hideing the map and making it random every time is such a miserable experience trying to get your "find X room and live quests done"

It's not the finding the portal that's the problem, it's that there's straight up not enough portals in inferno any more.

They reduced the number of portals in inferno while the map was still visible and not randomized. Now that it is randomized and hidden, we need to bring those portals back.

I've had games where I've visited 4 separate blue portal spawns, and they were all taken.

It's all RNG. I just happened to get in lobbies with multiple teams taking blues early, which freed up more spots for players to join due to continuous matchmaking lobbies, making it actually not have enough blues to support how many teams are in the lobby.

Layer 2 doesn't have this problem since reds are infinite use.

Yeah, inferno has been a shit show for my group with the number of times we just can't find a portal that hasn't been taken.

I don't think the quest marker is necessary, but it would be a really nice QoL feature, because there's maps that don't even include the room you're looking for, and just knowing that there's no point in cross mapping to search for it would be really nice.

And if you see it, then you at least know the general area that you need to search in, once again preventing cross mapping for just a room search.

It's a shame that there are class restrictions on items because it prevents the outright ban of named items on the market. If we were able to ban the trade of named items, item buying for cash and cheating would significantly decline.
