Every class should have weaknesses and counters. Mage should be able to handle a fighter, while a rogue shall handle a mage. There has always been a pecking order and way to do things. The fighter should be good enough to know that, and either kite the mage or run or zigzag his way up to get them. Balance shouldnt be difficult if the principal concepts of classes were met.

I know but we need not to listen to casuals.
Casuals get killed by someone or something they want that to be nerfed. They take side.
I play all classes. I like most ranger, but lately sorcerer maded me play more druid.

And what i can see now is stuff like demon warlock is badly nerfed, taking the fun of the class, Demon is really cool. But is nerfed so bad people dont use. The blood exchange from barbarian is suffering same thing. Was too strong, them was nerfed to the ground.

We need to find a middle term solution. Not nerfing everything.
I want demon lock to be cool and good.
I want to barbarian have a hatchet blood exchanged good and balanced.
I want to sorcerer can teleport do cool stuff but be balanced.
I want to ranger use its trap to kill some people who fallow it desprepared and stuff like that.

When you overly nerf stuff you break the fun of the classes. You make less people play it. Right now druid is one of the least played classes this clearly shows people dont like it.

It doesn't. If you're on barb, you hear the ting... you walk away or duck and turn around if you're not fast enough. This happens to me with good barbarians ALL THE TIME. They are hard to riposte but easy to parry.

Longsword can be avoided easily. If you played some chiv or mordhau you can drag it to their feet with like 90% success rate. Or jump attack mixed with crouch. Childs play. The shield on the other hand is harder to bypass by dragging/last min feet-shot that easily. At least for me. 🙂

Dragging means I start the hit and last minute change the target. Its not hard but hard to counter. You usually do it with a Zwei or other 2h high hitters.

Tarkov was good before cheating got so out of hand. People running dual PC setups just to cheat without being detected, radar on 2nd monitor can see where everyone and all the loot is. That last part probably exists to some lesser extent in this game as well but atleast you can't get shot in the head and instakilled in this game (you can).

you don't think software can account for all that? I mean if a human being can than a computer can. It may not be as bad due to that but its still going to be bad. I looked at the videos on those cheats and from what I can tell they are designed to look natural and not be detected by the average spectator. LIke a smooth tracking vs that jerky movement. and it doesn't have to be perfect. Maybe the jerky movements cause misses but if its improving accuracy by say 50% you can do the math.

Longsword left click sucks and dmg is generally low for a 2 hander. The weapon makes up for this with a pretty inconsistent yet high damage parry.

Change longsword to do more base dmg or have a better animation, make parry more consistent and behave closer to a block, and then lower parry dmg.

It would be way more satisfying if it was a dueling weapon rather than a weapon where you fish for your high dmg win move or die.

Higher the gear score the less fun the game is. This game is essentially P2W but yall don't get money for the transactions. People die they just swipe there market credit card. Gear score means nothing if you can just buy more gear. Make the raids self found gear only like arena. That alone will balance the game because you won't have these gear sweats just reloading after every death. AND they will have to actually risk gear sets. Not just search and buy on the market........ Self found gear only in raids like arena.

You aren't going to get 1 shot by 125 gear score, but brand new players will get bullied by min-maxing nerds if a sub 25 lobby exists. This forces the min maxers to be in a pool with people who can take them rather than letting them farm fresh spawns. The casual lobbies feel much better now that it isn't full of level 200s smurfing for kills, it feels more chill.

You don't need to boss to get awesome loot or be good at the game. If you are new I recommend the same thing that I say to new dungeons and dragons players. Play the class and style that is most appealing to you personally. The one you connect with most. Then learn how to play that class really really well, especially in pvp. then think about learning a boss. i would start with ghost king. better loot in infeerno if you cant find him and he is the easiest to learn according to most streamers

tbh bro 0-124 normals is totally fine because 124 gear score is basically just a blue weapon and 2 blue armor pieces. its not that much of an advantage at all, but yea there are copperlight minmaxxers that are weird for sure. the real ‘sweats wanting to stomp casuals’ is in HR, where they can wear full uniques and legendaries to steamroll people in full blue kits who are either just learning HR or are trying to play casually with friends and make some money.

Trying to post this on Reddit but I can't for some reason (I usually never post on Reddit), so here it is:

To keep min-maxers from taking over normal lobbies, some players are calling for a return to the 0-24 gear bracket, while others want normal lobbies to go SSF (Solo Self-Found). Both sides make good points, but I think a mix of the two would work best.

Normals could be mostly SSF, but with a small allowance of, say, 3 items that you can bring in from the marketplace or crafting. The gear score would still be capped at 124 under this setup. HR could follow the same idea but allow more items. The exact numbers could be adjusted, but 2 or 3 items would feel like a sweet spot for normals in my opinion.

On DaD yesterday, i had 3 games in a row full Healing Druid Team. And everyone knows the experience of getting quest items when you Need them vs when you dont. IM is reverse engineeering regulated loot boxes into the game design. They are not alone. It is ruining games though, and relies primarily on casual gamers. @cloud musk true, but when matchmaking is designed to result in a predicted outcome, and the players are the loot boxes, it is not random in any way.

Yeah I thought of that, but I think a rogue with a smaller hitbox dodging effectively would outweigh the negative pretty significantly. It's not like they can afford to get hit in the head currently, so being half the size would just make their lives easier. Edit: only way it's bad is if they are literally too short to headshot with a dagger lmao in which case the skin would be useless

Helps that you cant submit a bug from mobile discord and they make you jump through a bunch of hoops. Ive experienced bugs, I havent been able to submit, the bug report is broken for mobile and im not using my pc on a tv to use discord when I have a phone on my lap and earbuds.
