Lol Clerics didnt get buffed like at all. We got our original spell counts back for locust, sanc, and lesser heal, got a judgement nerf, got an overheal nerf, Bless now requires 2 spell memory instead of 1 and gives us +2 all stats, when really strength dex and will was already fine. It aint a buff yall just fking daft in the brain. Complain about actual broken things instead of something thats actually balancing us out. Most of the stuff they buffed for barb needed buffs it wasnt good and no one ran it. Only real buff to barb was the blood exchange which was stupid. Barb did need some nerfs this patch.

Cleric did get hit a little, the change to overheal does matter, and change to judgement also hurts quite alot as .5 second is enough for fast targets to walk out, especially with last patches change to targeting. But I disagree with the sanctuary buff. Sanc is op and requires no thought, sanc was good at 1 required actual strategic thinking in using it.

All in all this patch does show that IM has become more intelligent and better at designing patches than in the past. They are actually attempting to buff under utilized abilities, as well as compensate for nerfs. So while the patch did miss the mark (and I mean completely misses, by buffing op classes for no reason) it does give me more confidence that the devs are learning and not being as reasctionary as in the past

I mean I just started getting back from patch 69 and I kind of want to delete the game knowing barb gets buffs with every patch either indirectly or directly. At this point who can even challenge barb in solo crypts? He is faster, more dmg than any class and has 200hp+. Especially on solo you see 50-60% barbs and now you just upped that to 80%. Unironically, I think the Cleric buffs are fine, because Judgement's cast time got a whole half second increase. A lot of the issue with judgement is that it's such a quick cast, then you can immediately take advantage of the slow window to then activate smite, and 1v1 anything while eating a ham sandwich. Buffing heals, giving judgement a bigger window to run away from or rushing cleric, the incentive to take spells and be more supportive instead of just smite + judgement means less annoying frontline clerics that tank everything and more a movement to a supportive role, which the cleric was intended to be in the first place.

The cleric buff was pretty meaningless, judgement nerf is pretty good, 1.25 is pretty long, so it's not basically an instant cast, but besides that, worst patch in a minute lowkey.
