Something I would like to see is them changing doors. They could be locked on first time interaction to prevent players from skipping pve, then they could be instantly opened on every interaction after. There should be more types of doors so that barbarians cannot just run around the dungeon witha train of pve behind them breaking doors. There could be stone and steel doors. Also doors should be closed off to druids rat forming through them.

generally crafting materials tend to rise in price when the craft they are for is unlocked since then the demand for those materials will rise. Unless you are completely out of space, I would recommend sitting on the material until the craft unlocks.

To elaborate on this point, what makes this game any more clunky than something like Rust, Tarkov, Dead by Daylight, etc

I did not have any problems completing that quest. Perhaps the champion died from nearby mobs? Kills do not count of opponent players or mobs get the actual killing blow. For trios and duos however kill credit is shared in the team regardless if you get assist or not.

thats a fair point. At least we need to know that we should not waste our time clearing towards that portal if its already used. However this would be problematic if they eventually get around to making hell rng with fog of war as you wont see the portals on the map anyways. The case is that the current state with continous dungeons is incompatible with limited extracts. Hopefully they will realise this sooner rather than later.

Found it with several friends across different runs super fast by simply holding W with barb and running thru crypts with Crush. The fear scream helps if you get cornered by monsters somehow and others generally avoid barbs, especially so if there's 2 or 3 barbs.

castless cleric with smite and judgement is way too strong, at the upper end of gear with the flanged mace, they're basically a big "do not approach" me sign.

You can run from them, but you cant fight them head on, theyre stronger than barbarians, yet barb got robust nerf, ok

Personally I think it's the survive x times quests that are pointless and dull. It just means we run thru blue portals for quick extracts. Sure it's easy with quick rewards but in terms of game design so boring and mundane to have players spend the 5 minutes to do that chore.

A flute is unironically a good weapon against a cleric. Their attacks only swing up and down and the flute is completely perpendicular to all of their attacks when blocking. My legendary flute hit for 60+ per riposte last wipe 😎

Agreed. This is mostly an issue in solos however. And ive come to accept and also agree that the game should never be balanced around solos. Ive had my share of screaming at the screen moments calling BS when I get kited to death by a torture lock on my fighter. Or getting poked to death by a double jump rogue while I play cleric.

That's really all games though. Dark souls is similar to this one in that regard, you can kill bosses (or geared players) in starter gear if you know what you're doing. Other games have soft rules like that too, like don't chase a nidalee or singed in League, don't peek a window that blackbeard is holding in old Siege, etc

The previous swing animation just cuts short for him to go into the sweep he killed half the lobby before I tried and he just jumped intot he strike the moment his last hit struck the ground

same with if you get roared by him too

so if he starts an attack on his left, you move to the right
there are some moves that dont count, like his slams, but for the most part you can just stick on him

Has anyone noticed the poor performance recently? I'm getting lower fps than last season along with large stutters/ fps drops. I had a 2060 super and was getting 260 avg last season yet today I upgrade to a 4080 super and have the same performance. Overclock my i9 12900k yields no difference either. Middle room has a yeti shield giant and kobalds. It depends on the gs you run. Sub 25 pick up greens and up. Same for sub 125. In hr you want to go for blue and up. Thats what i do atleast.

sorcerer and druid and bard have all been bad additions to the game, the one good thing thats come from all of this are: fixing rogue, mostly fixing barb, giving weapons block, making the 3 layer dungeons, and fixing having to wait for a queue to play the game,
and a somewhat OK arena mode,

but bard is clunky, sorcerer is clunky, druid is clunky, and they forgot about finishing cleric+warlock+barbarian in the process.

everything is easier to critisize in hindsight, but I want the game to go back to focusing on dungeon crawling and the sweats to be drawn to arena that NEVER want to roleplay/etc.
It would be fun if wardens and devs peeked in on games and rewarded random players with special MTX for impressive roleplays or being forgiving to others.

Yeah, I don't know who's idea it was to do this dumb continuous dungeon thing, but it fucking sucks. Either you're first in the dungeon, bound to be third partied, or you're late and everything's looted and there are no exits left.

that is a little hard to explain because equipment price fluctuates and its hard to determine the price of a lot of items, the only thing you can do is loot things and see their price in the market to learn which is valuable and which isnt, but i can give you a little rundown on the most valuable items

first of all, items with true physical damage, additional phyisical damage, vigor, max health, action speed, dexterity, strength, are the most valuable, if an item has a combination of these stats, they become even more valuable, for example, a epic marauders outfit with max health and dexterity is gonna sell for like 500 gold, you have to also think it this way "is the class that is going to use this item gonna value the stats it has"?

think of items with a good combination of stats as the most valuable, also taking into account their rarity, and how useful for a class is going to be, for example, a legendary frost amulet, which is used a lot by classes like rogue and ranger, is gonna be more valuable if it has action speed than if it had magic resistance, because action speed is a lot more valuable to rogues and rangers

but you should always take a legendary frost amulet anyways because its very expensive even with bad rolls
