I hate that I have a crimson name for two reasons. For one, my judgement was cast down by a single blueberry that probably farmed his reputation who just happened to get in the way of my swing mid attack then blamed me right before disconnecting without allowing for argument, and secondly it is far more seen as a fashion accessory to most that it is sought after by people who just like the color red and they are also willing to farm for it on pubs.

That's not possible with the actual amount of player, it will result in empty lobby for some map/group size, way longer queue time, worst matchmaking. But they can definitely do things do improve the actual rotation system and make it more efficient/short. But the answer to the initial question, is that if arena was open all the time, there would be no one to queue up with for the base game, it would be totally empty. That is why it is only open on weekends when we have like 20-30% more players on.

I think there is a serious question the community and the devs have to answer about arena and the long term health of the game. But we are at the end of a wipe right now so that can wait till next season

A small delay is still extremely significant, especially if you're chasing a warlock as a barb and they randomly pull out a CS. They can easily react to you pulling out a zwei/maul/whatever and just phantomize to counter it.

That's a tech, insta-swapping is a bug since you're going past something that is intended.
When you swap to your staff from a lantern, you are supposed to be: slowed and have a tiny delay between your attack and swapping. You're avoiding these two aspects of swapping weapons which isn't intended therefore it is a bug.

If you didn't found the gear yourself in the dungeon and you lose you arena match then yes you lose the gear. The gear have to be 'Self found' to be safely used in Arena that mean that you need to extract it (no expressman) with a specific character (If you found a bow on your wizard and give it to your ranger it's not "Found by" your ranger and you'll lose it if you lose your match)

Range overall. Ranger is meta for norms and HR since they do crazy damage form afar (all classes are down 15max hp rn) and when in melee they can spear+backstep without having to do an animation. Basically makes them the overall pick currently.

mage can be annoying since they do so much easy damage, but can be dealt with by jumping on em due to low hp. however, bonk can be horrifying and 2-3 tap barbs. also, magic missile is boosted to 16 casts with spell overload.

druids is booty for the most part outside of solos. good druid can still do well but they gotta play crayz well. same with rogue.

fighter is demons glee + mana sphere.

everything else is meh

I see many people complaining about PDR but there is many way to deal with it.
To be 75%, people have to commit so much of their build into stacking armor rating, you lose on other stats and you are going to be slow af. (average 266-285 ms)
65 % for a full pdr build was not worth it, barb beat it straight up since they got buff . Now with 75%, the match up will probably be a little bit more fair, we'll see.
Wizards, rogue poison mosquito, felling axe or war maul barb, warlock boc, caster warlock, ranger true phys, cleric smith, cleric spells, crystal sword fighter, any artifacts with magical damages are all good vs someone stacking PDR.

I assume you mean on weapons? If a weapon hits for 100 the multiplier in the sequence of attacks changes how much damage you'll do. So if a multiplier is 1,2,3 your damage is 100,200,300

It's really class specific, Some classes can get away with running purple jewely and weapon with no pants and chest, some classes need 6 greens and a blue to be managable, same gearscore just different ways of getting it

Okay, Im gonna say this once, as someone who played in LCS and OWL, Agree or disagree that's on you to be in denial.

The video game isn;t balanced around your squire gear lobbies, or your solo's / duos lobbies or even around your 124 gs lobbies, it's balanced around high gear score trios, the competitive lobbies.

here's the thing, You can balance down way easier than up. That's why we have classes that feel bad without gear not barbs 1 shotting each other. Youre not supossed to stay in low gs lobbies, theyre a stepping stone not the end game

the casuals who have lives outside the game will appreciate the scav-like mode maybe with its own twists
