My favorite time in this game was when you qued and it didn't care about gear you could have a named in your lobby or all nakeds

with the way gear is rn they cannot remove gear brackets. If they squish gear as hard as they did in patch 69 it also kills most of the enjoyment of getting good gear. Even if people do smurf, it would still significantly improve new player experiences

Pretty much, having a TTK so low that you can kill everybody in 2-3 hits is definitly boring as hell because it makes fights incredibly short, and getting 100 to zero'd in 1 by a barbarian is simply frustrating for people because there is not only much less effort in the kill itself but also alot less time for Players.
Gear differences themself need to exist to a degree to warrant the aspect of grinding for loot and completing quests, because otherwise the only reason to complete quests or to go into deeper layers is to level up characters faster.
The Devs need to decide wether they want to focus on the PvP aspect which will ruin the Dungeon Crawling part of the Game (which is why people started playing it in the first place, a Dungeon Crawling Extraction Game is a pretty niche mix of genres), or the devs focus on the Dungeon Crawling aspect itself which will momentarily neglect the Games PvP aspect until they figured out the core problems that their Game is suffering from (such as shallow melee combat, Bhopping breaking the games momentum etc.), so if by the start of the next season nothing important has happened in either of those directions its a clear sign they dont know how to address those problems (or are oblivious to them, which is also a possability due to the fact they dont even use their test server which is still on patch 61)

Rogue is always hard to play, rogue just has worse stats than other classes and will always underperform them. Rogue does scale harder with gear score than other classes though, so you will notice an improvement, but Rogue requires very specific chase stats, depending on your build. Ideally you want + true phys, and at least 15 str. After that you choose whether you want to build PDR to try and survive the all in, or agi so you can kite.

I think we should streamline HR, if rewards are account-wide on Pathfinder and above, why can't progress also be?

Now I don't mean all classes would get the Neophyte-Wanderer rewards, as those are more so a head start for people for the new season, so those who grind with those specific classes should get those for said classes and then just put the gold coin bags and meds in their shared stash.

The same argument can't be made for Pathfinder and above rewards and those take a considerable amount of time to grind since HR is in the bad in-between of not giving enough AP killing to avoid spawn rushing and Pve being the most consistent way of getting AP. It creates the problem that once people either reach Demigod they stop doing HR.

Streamlining HR progress across accounts would cause people to play classes they actually want and not just classes that benefit from either:

A. Being able to hide in the corners of maps and get loot and run away- Rogue, Druid
B. Be able to survive most fights and look the other cheek- Barb, Warlock with torture mastery

I personally just do HR as Barbarian as he's the easiest to me, I don't even like the class, achilles' heel is too powerful but that's not on topic

This streamlining would create problems with there no longer being the filtering of the leaderboard with certain classes but that would only be the case if Ironmace makes the bad decision to give top players special rewards as previously stated HR does not show who the best of the best, but the mid of midmaxxing AP.

Like I stated before I play Barbarian in HR solely because he's easy for me, I shouldn't want to play the class that's easiest for me, I should want to play the class I want in HR, either get out and earn my AP, or die and switch to a different class for whatever reason, the meta changes, I like this class more, or anything as once I reach demigod ill only plan on getting wanderer on other classes for the gold coin bag. my thoughts on the HR 125-224, 225+ queue change (I am a ranger main with 1700 hours of play time): a great change IMO (I have a lot of fun) and here is why: a) it makes the HR game experience a bit more consistent in terms of gear gap. Before, queuing for HR was a dice roll if you are the most geared team/player in the lobby, so quite often, if your not mega geared, you get gear checked (skill issue, I know) . Now you have more agency by choosing to gear <225 or mega geared 225+. On top of that, juiced teams can still get their HR experience they know and love by queuing 225+ and sweaty (but not mega sweaty) teams can queue < 225 (a good change); b) if you can't afford a 10k+ kit every round, it's quite frustrating to queue HR when it was only 225+, since it feels like your throwing you quit away if your not mega geared. But now 125-224 makes HR more affordable to grind since the kits don't cost as much (increased accessibility, good); c) after a few games, I noticed the average player skill level is lower in 125-224 queues, making winning more frequent and winning is fun. I may represent the average player with this feeling, since I don't have 2 rich players to practice with everyday to grind HR trios all the time (IMO good, but its a skill issue on my part, so neutral), and now I can more frequently access affordable HR; d) more queues, so more dead lobbies (bad), but, it means fewer deaths given the infrequency of PVP (good, although in long term possibly bad, since I could see infrequent PVP getting boring).; and e) the excitement of winning a PVP encounter is way better than < 125 norms and a 125-224 queue gives moderately geared players a playground to queue up for. All in all, I am having a blast with this change. I get to fight HR mobs, the dungeon loot is better, I get to experience HR bossing, and I get some juicy gear from winning PVP without often getting 100% gear gapped by 150 HP mega geared wizard that's being pocketed by a cleric and bard

What about gear that levels up as you play? You start out with a 'poor' or 'common' item and when you are able, you get to pick an enchantment. Next time you lvl it up, you get to boost that enchantment or add another, that would level the item up to an uncommon. Or something similar. I wish past limited time races/cosmetics (other than like coffee, and st Jude stuff) could be bought with shit loads of blue shards or somehow re-redeemable via a lengthy quest. People playing ranked can get their "higher skilled" lobbies AND just play for the rewards which means they don't have to spend tokens or do lengthy quests. there would be more incentive since you can not worry about stat diff of race, pressure to play cause time limit, and can keep that adventurous wonder of finding new silly cosmetics with your hard work. The true way of showing skill would be how you fight, not the cosmetics, but they would add some "flavor", especially for new players if they were accessible. (dont crucify me)

Would anyone agree that players should become incapacitated when defeated, allowing players to execute them or revive them by interacting? I don't mean a full on crawling "downed" mechanic, but one where you are effectively defeated unless revived. When you have a close trios team fight and both of your party members die, it feels like a loss because reviving them both is almost impossible unless the match just started. If that change was implemented, they could tweak the cleric revive spell by reducing its cast time and memory cost, and it would still be very useful

Actually done playing this game until they fix skeleton crossbowman. Unstrafeable due to server inconsistencies. im not even wizard, i can't even root you for 1 second with icebot or knock you back with fireballs, there is no headshot on cleric spells so i can't even burst either.

how are you not struggling against wizard, but you are struggling against caster cleric a 10x worse version of wizard

It's a glass cannon class, it does a lot of damage but dies to almost any damage, and also has spell charges. Once you bait out their spells they are literally useless until they back off and reset.
