Ranger needs a buff, 150lvls of ranger and there is no way to play the game solo AT ALL unless you sit in a damn corner the entire wipe behind a trap, otherwise and even then so getting hit by litteraly anything is a death sentence losing up to half your hp in one hit from almost every mob.Your barley fast enough to escape half the dudes in full steel armor but somehow my log of a bow weighs me down that much? Im in CLOTH ARMOR? Build for agility and you still die in two to 1 hit and then you have to shoot 60 arrows which have delay against 1 dude whos gotta curse you twice to kill you, because once they curse and push you and you cant run (thanks to my log of a bow) so i just get chased down by almost every class unless im focused on agility. Then you sit in a corner with traps because theres no other way to play it, and everyone just either stays clear away from you or you get targeted by half the lobby...

I'm warlock main, every ranger can kill me with two arrows from miles, or one shotgun. You have super fast weapons change from bow to spear and vice versa, and Speed. Bear traps. A ranger once killed me with a single crossbow shot, I had full health.

Warlock is a PvE character, that’s why you’re having so much trouble. They used to be good at PvP until they were heavily nerfed. Now, mostly, they are added on teams for their utility support and clearing rooms full of mobs quickly

If your losing to rangers i dont know what to tell you, your need to pick your engagments better or something, ranger is STRONG but hes too strong at the cost of movement and agitlity which is suppsoed to be the benefit of a ranger. Your magic is FAR more deadly than a fully built long bow, the bow has delay before AND after it shoots making it harder to "aim". Its not aiming its predicting the direction of your target unless they are running in a straight line. As a warlock one singular curse does half the hp, and you also can turn into a demon and use longsword and crystal swords, curse and then push an zig zag and you win almost everytime, otherwise if they are playing agility then they just shoot nerf darts at you until you corner them. Rangers are OP in the wrong situations. If your not in THAT situation your more than likely just dead honeslty. As for the mulit shot its op if you pull it off, and if you dont your just dead lol.

To be perfectly clear: PRE teaming in normals is still bannable. So to have a valid proof that its pre teaming and not fluid teaming you have to record that you have VOIP on and that they didn’t talk to each other before teaming on you

Now we have people screaming and earraping during combat and overall toxic behaviour even when you are in the same team. I stopped playing for like a week or 2 because EVERYONE IS A TOXIC PSYCHO in the lobbies, and with that i mean the base mindset of most people is "I wont let him fuck me over so imma do it first" and thats how i witnessed like 80% of trios where there is even just 1 random player turn into toxicity. And it carries over to other matches because thats how stress works...

There was like a whole month where everyone was "friendly" in an honorable way.
Teaming and being friendly is not the same, but spectral people have issues in understanding some concepts.
Teaming is when you and some rando kill others but not eachother.
Being friendly means that you dont try to murder everyone.
People cried about teaming for months and said that friendly people are the problem, all the while the Friendlies never teamed up for unfair pvp (Being present at a fight and watching, while saying: "Ye dude you got this, ill watch" isnt teaming)
And i can say that because for months i was friendly with everyone and always we discussed that if someone comes its 1v1. Of course after you die, your friend might just kill the other guy. But in like 500 hours of gameplay during those times i can count on 1 hand how many times we had unfair encounters.... So don't let the toxic little shits get their way or the game experience will degrade.

Well I would like to trust that too but no game ever achieve to solve the cheats issues, so we can't expect that from a small company like IM

It heavily depends on the Game and its developers, alot of developers simply dont really care that much, so they throw in a client sided anticheat which should remove any obvious tampering, however client sided software isnt a good solution due to the fact its alot easier to find a way around it.
BattleEye, Vanguard, Easy Anti Cheat etc. all only work effectivly against obvious tools like Cheat Engine, but if you know your way around programming theyre not that much of an obstacle, sure cheaters get banned eventually, but all they have to do is to update their software accordingly to the anticheat developers, and theyre good to go again.
Id say the larger problem is that Companies are not strict enough when it comes to take action not against cheaters themselves, but the programmers who create the cheat-software instead

Need to say that personally i've been having a very fun time with the quest to kill ghost king as a soloplayer that has no more then 3 or 4 free hours inna day to play this game. It has been at minimium 10 to 15 times in a roll i've lost 35 minutes going to hell and facing Warlord or Lich, not a single Ghost King. you learn by doing pretty much. when you find an item, look at existing prices for each of that item's rolls. filter for item type and rarity then go 1 by 1 on its rolls and see what each is valued at. if you see a couple of expensive rolls, put them together and see what items with both rolls sell for, and so on. eventually you learn which rolls hold the most value and you can better judge value of your loot

loot every container you see and kill every mob you see to get to level 15 faster in that case. Also, do all the quests that weaponsmith, armorer, modern canadian and leathersmith give you. When you earn reputation with them, you unlock more and better gear in the squire.

parrying is a lot harder than blocking. there are a lot of attacks and weapons that you can get away with by looking straight at the enemy and blocking, that isn't the case with parrying

you have to know the trajectory of the attack and patterns and move accordingly to parry

in both scenarios, you have to be painfully aware of how your character looks like to the enemy when blocking or parrying. it's not something you can just learn overnight, it's the same souls-like process of getting your head smashed in with a rock until you are one with the rock

Just try to play very slow at first, move step by step, always let mobs swing at you first then retaliate, as time goes on you will get faster, also buy potions and bandages.

I've felt that for the first 100 or so hours for the majority of enemies. But after it started clicking towards individual ones and now I feel rather confident with the vast majority after 250 hours. I even mentioned to my buddy who I'm playing with that I'm starting to finally do things automatically like I would in warzone, forsay, reacting instead of trying to think things through and panic. It becomes second nature after a while and no longer bothers you.

This is correct. The way you play this game is "Bait and punish" in pve. Keep in mind, that this game requires you to strafe in and out of attack zones of both players and monsters instead of using the S key to back away. You are way to slow using that key and will get punished a lot.

defense mastery
swift
block mastery
weapons mastery (coz bows are much easier than crossbow), if you feel confident you can swap it for counterattack

if you want to use arming sword instead of flanged, id swap armor mastery for sword mastery (movement >>>> 10% armor benefit on low gearscore, also also movement > armor)

skills pretty standard and best for 95% cases: sprint and second wind (rechargable with campfire but you have to sit really quick)
