i think id make stealth and hide in one ablity and it jsut be "Stealth" cause thats how it should be anyway. and then a perk called Recouperate: Regenerate 1/6th of your total HP after 10 seconds out of combat

or maybe like Focused : After 2 consecutive stabs, bandages heal you twice as fast and recover non regenerative HP by 1/3rd if the total heal ammount of the bandage.

The rogue class needs a good buff and the rat form was truthfully perfect for this - Not only does it gives good stealth but you can also move freely around all you want - unlike the skill "hide". I think the whole separation of stealth and hide are obsurd to me because in my opinion...the entire fundamental purpose of what it means to play a "rogue" type of character is to have the freedom to move while stealth and it not be a choice. And to have that innate damage boost when you come out of stealth. And in some games there's innate backstab damage bonus's for them too.

But let's just be real, a merging of backstab and ambush into the merged ability and perk of stealth and hide would be very strong and most likely too strong.

Or would it? After all you would realistically only have 1 chance to make that backstab before they turn around on you for the rest of the fight so. Idk. I love theory crafting

You're right about the stealth gimmick being a main thing for any rogue in any game and not getting to use that properly without sacrificing all 4 talents just for that feels very disappointing
Combining those talents would at least give you two slots to play with
The trapsense and picklock perk should just be a built-in passive at this point as well, imagine a dungeon dwelling rogue who can't do the most basic rogue archetype things

a possible strat you could use: make noise to bait someone into coming to you, Cast rupture FIRST, immediately pop invis potion and far enough away that they dont hear the sip ( idk if thats possible though but they do last a while so? ) stab for rupture dmg, stab a couple more times after that then disengage with stealth. come out when ready for ambush buff and commit the rest of the way

Yup procting is easy but it doesn't stack like rogue poison and it scales off hit location so if the headshot you, you take extra bleed but if they leg/arm or hand/foot you'll take reduced damage

Personally not too focused on the PvP side of the game, just think Druid is the most unique class and would hate for its one thing (shapeshifting) to be gutted. As for PvP being more important to some, for me its not really worth investing the time into. I def get some practice playing base dungeons cuz sometimes I'll be bored and target people or they'll target me and I can actually hold my own against alot now.

But the meta switches around too much, and balances are too frequent for me to try and pick something specific to spec in skill wise. I just enjoy going in with squire gear, getting better gear from drops, and making money. When AP is worth again I'll go back to HR but rn I've been getting plenty of blue and purple gear from base dungeon and quests are my focus rn

Playing duos with someone who knows it or randomly until you find someone who does might help

Boom my character is gone forever and I have to start over from scratch.

Druid Bear build is way too Broken right now, these Meta slaves needs to be Nerfed because 50 strength of bear. Fighter and warlock are in a good place I’m just tired of losing to teams in arena that have a 50 strength bear that’s getting 90% of all the kills and 1v3 my whole team no problem there should be like a cap on strength for bears. You shouldn’t just be able to build 50 strength and one shot of people it’s so stupid.

So in the last dev qna, sdf said they're not satisfied with the 3-layer dungeons and recognize they take too long to descend. He said they're planning to test having it where you can descend immediately and that all three dungeons will have their timers going simultaneously, so pretty much you'll just have to get to the red stairs twice and can rush bosses.

This has its own problems as it potentially means it becomes more difficult to find PvP in the ruins or crypt, but for getting down to the inferno it'll make it a lot less of a slog.

It does. It even does way to much. I’ve seen clips of druids with healing gear healing you from 20% to full hp, with 2 ticks from their heal.
Actually insane how much healing u can output, and it’s easier then cleric cause u don’t even have to target your spells.
And hots are just better, cause u can apply hots and then go on the offensive while each tick of your hot is healing for 50% of your teammates health xD
The reason we don’t see many Druid healers is cause the build is under the radar, but clips are surfacing about how silly it is

I feel that 1 character slot is way too little.
If you want to experience a class properly you must level it to lvl 15 so you have all perks, then play some games.
What happens if you don’t like it ? You have to delete your character and all the progress only to try another one. And you might not enjoy the next one either.
Expecting players to keep deleting characters and their progress over and over simply to try the game and it’s classes is a bad system

Honestly AP grind is not even terrible. I'm not great but can pull down like 600 on ruins without pvp focus, and if I die to mobs or players I get most if not all my gear in return for little AP loss for the ante. Yea man I no longer am questioning why this game never gained traction again and everyone I know quit. I came back for a week and this has been the most boring and annoying state I’ve ever played this game in.

First off, they removed the circle, meaning that pvp is basically never happening unless you play arena or you are a fast enough class with enough action speed to zoom around the map without pulling every enemy with you and getting overwhelmed.

Second, this game should be renamed to rogue and ranger, because ever player of every class has devolved their gameplay into a combination of both of those classes. I don’t mind rogue players and I don’t mind ranged classes, but who’s great idea was it to make it optimal gameplay for every class to max movespeed and make every fight as cheesy as possible. People are literally opening doors two modules back so when I chase their fully plate armored fighter ranger rogue, they can close the door and then reload their crossbow. I fight barbarian ranger rogues who’d rather throw axes and use their movespeed buff to run away from fights to poke more.

Honestly, I feel bad for ranger and rogue players. Why the fuck would you play ranger or rogue when you could play the same class with double health, a shit ton of armor, and still be just as fast.

I get some of you guys are just doing what’s required, but idk how anyone can still enjoy it after its identity has been stripped from it. It’s practically an fps game now.

This is the end of my rant and my last one though. I had to atleast put it out here after I deleted the game. I hope I can one day go back to a rpg extraction d&d inspired game.

Panther form is probably the weakest form because of the giant hitbox the terrible range and the terrible hp and armor. Its literally used to run fast and dash -> chicken jump its so trash/gimmicky and not used practically. On the flipside bear should not 1-2 shot everyone and shouldnt make you impossible to trade with

What are your thoughts on the bardiche and halberd? Originally they did the same damage and were basically identical in performance - now the halberd is just an upgraded bardiche. IMO they should give bardiche less movement penalty to differentiate them since they reduced its damage in comparison to the halberd

halberd is the meta warlock weapon, noone expects it
other thing, bardiche is one of the main weapons that I always used when I played barb, and barb is honestly a 1000 strength character, and doesn't neccessarily need the higher damage than halberd. Making the move speed penalty lower on the bardiche is also a shot in the knee, as it would become quite the fan favourite with the high movespeed builds (also warlock can use the bardiche now, so an obvious choice is using halberd since it has higher damage for the low str stats of WL)
