Mhm! The true DMG bonus is huge on your dots. It's the stat you stack for all loot brackets and it's easiest for low gear lobbies to just slap on the green neck as it's the guaranteed one without needing random rolls and they are 30g on market super worth

If you have both dots on someone it 2 bonus true DMG per second it's effectively like having a third curse of DMG on someone just for wearing a necklace

Yes every tick from both your dots will deal 1 more DMG. Even for hyper geared warlock we stack true magic on all the items we can it's our best stat we can get

I'm on the same page as you yes the correct base DMG should be 14 over 8 seconds for the dot. But that's without adding the true from the chocker. It applies to each tick at a 50% scaling rate to 8 ticks ×1/2 is 4 dmf bonus so from 14 to 18 DMG so 28.56% DMG increase to the dot from the choker

By the way, is there some way to spot the difference between a normal and elite champion? Is there any visual difference or is the only thing you can tell them apart from their attack speed? The GK chance is quite differencet between them.

I believe that in some ways its reading what people what DONT like about a game that leads to more effective ways to improve.
There isnt a lot about Dark and Darker that i DONT like. i think its a lot of fun but here's my things about the game i dont like / Wish were implemented

1: Comparing setting functionality One of the most important things you could do right now is to offer a Comparing option in the settings and an additional option to choose its behavior ( like hold shift to compare ) with a window side by side comparing the item im hovering over with what i have currently equipped. The amount of Appreciation us players would have is immeasurable because...RESPECTFULLY ....i am SO, F'ing sick and tired of having to mouse over to every single piece of gear over and over and over a sickening amount of times and i feel like i probably speak for the literal entire community with that too

2: Item Visual identification item's should have a thin color around it matching its rarity, A QOL 2 further improve the management of your stash

3: Better Stash's So this one is probably the one that makes me wanna use all the swear words in one sentence. So you guys noticed that the merchants all have a filtering option of a sort right? even the merchants that dont even a large ammount of things to sell that i would find myself using the filter options they have. you, him them, and i have 0, 1, 2, 3+ stash's but WE dont have a filtering option??? if it were a choice, i dont think anyone here would choose to have such an inefficient way of navigating and managing our stash's =(. This is something i think is very important we get done. ATLEAST....unless for you guys its easier to have to physically hover over each and every single individual item in every single stash you have...

Yea it turns the Game more into a PvP Game rather than a PvPvE Game, which kinda goes against what they advertised it as.
If anything, have no PvE in the Arena at first but then have it spawn in over time and add a ranked version to Arena with MMR matchmaking based on AP would be pretty solid for the PvP aspect, because then you would have that part somewhat worked out and could focus more on the Dungeon Crawling aspect.
Which I still think having a Roguelike-Coop mode where you go through different maps with randomized layouts, no minimap and a steady increase in difficulty would be pretty fun, but for that Wooden Mallet would have to work out alot of problems that the PvE currently has to prevent it from beeing cheesed

Sometimes you wanna push but get hit and have to wait out dreamwalk giving the person time to escape or prepare, and since you cant transform while dreamwalked they can get in position to block your exit and then its too dangerous to go panther. games been out for 3 years my guy and fighters are the strongest they've ever been. No class should have max move speed from a skill. Or complete invulnerability if you do that every class needs that option. 2nd point i'd like to make is 1 class shouldn't be able to tank, do ranged dmg as much as a Speciality "Ranger Class" and do more dmg than the ranger as well as be a tank and heal and get max move speed. Idk how for so long they've found that balanced especially after nerfing forceful shot against shields. Rogue needs rework, remove fighters sprint, barbarians rage move buff, warlocks phantomize movespeed buff. No class should get movespeed buff skill. Furthermore remove 1 shot ability from Bear if they stack only strength. the investment for the reward is way to unbalanced. invest 1k to 1 shot anyone is not BALANCED. Period. Remove hunter traps rework ranger. Traps do more harm than good mostly but in solos its a stupid mechanic that players can't outplay if theyre hidden under corpses of monsters unless they make it a habitual habit to jump crouch every dead pve mob. Wizard also needs a bit of tuning theyre way to strong with enough gear and way to weak with no gear. making them very unbalanced in terms of investment which makes it one of the least played classes in the game. AGAIN no class should get free max or CLOSE to max move speed from skills so remove it entierly and buff backstep from ranger. IF im 1 character module spaced froma bear druid and i backstep before they attack me they still hit me. it doesn't give you enough space for what you actually need to use it for.

Fix the movement speed, everyone pretty much run at the same speed atm (which is bad for the game), lower the damage overall in-game so fights would take longer and become more fun. Atm it hurts the game that players dies too fast and it result in people end up leaving and lastly fix the damn gear score so you don't meet players who are way beyond your gear score - It does not matter if there is not enough players and we sometimes will be alone in a dungeon - that's way better than players getting stomp'd by someone with a +300 score difference from yours! I'm in 20% phys dmg bonus kit with 6 true and 2 ruby silver fighters per lobby for 3 matches and in1 mattch we faced 3 pdr fighters. the only way we win is if we have a wizard or warlock in which we didnt in all 3 matches so we just instant loss they all sprinted at 1 target and won. every, single, match. It's a team game its easy to coordinate to solo a player out and a ranger that cant even hit you because of the arena having so many obstacles in your path makes it useless. For instance if im a Fighter i can hug angles so i never see you in my Line of Sight until im already on top of you. same thing in the actual game. it has nothingto do with kiting and everything to do witha class getting a half hp heal, max move speed 60% pdr for little to no investment.

My point is I can't kill a fighter from range because he's LOSing and using every obstacle in the game to his advantage objectively this makes them a better Ranged class because they get more Armour, movespeed and kiting has nothing to do with it. As soon as the Fighter trades 1 blow against a ranger they all of a sudden have a HUGE advantage. Whereas the ranger from range has to LAND multiple shots all while the one hes fighting can stack plenty of defenses and hp and just gets a skill to give him an escape or engage if the ranger does make a mistake. The matchup isn't favourable but thats not my issue its the entire thing about him doing more dmg or NEAR as much damage as a CLASS that specialises in said field.

Every class can LOS and use obstacles. Rangers are typically better at zoning and chipping with bows, even if the fighter is good. Again, there may be a wash if you're trading hits with someone in plate. But you're still ignoring the tradeoff of pdr. It isn't a magical solution to everything. Full PDR should never catch you. And why are you being caught without teammates? Both classes have strengths. Most classes are fairly balanced ATP (except druids)

A fighter who gears to catch you will lose against other melee classes geared to fight meleers.

If I kill a barb in my high-speed cloth build it's because I nailed two ripostes. Otherwise I'm toast

I think the problem is too many people crutch on fighter and cry when IM tries to balance. Seems like it was designed as an entry level class. IM probably knows if they put fighter in a state where they aren't inherintly OP they would lose a lot of players. Ranger and other classes you need to think, you need environment. Fighter is just W. A slower movespeed fighter can catch you because modules are finite space and eventually you will run into mobs unless you clear several modules worth of space before you fight chances are you're going to Get W keyed into a corner and run out of kiting space in that time they will use all of the map and spaces to be out of LOS until they have you cornered, idk why youre trying to make it sound like its incredibly hard to W key someone as a fighter when i do it all the time.

Solo's usually Forcefulshot Quickshot true as much phys power strength hp as possible with max move speed 30% physdmgbonus 140hp usually. usually between 6-9 true dmg. If im tired of dying to pdr fighters with heaters and barbarians with iron will i go shotgun ranger play a bunch of traps with 30-40% physdmg bonus 150hp and 315-320 move speed.

in Trio's I just die to most classes because Rangers are obsolete and not needed in trios, because again PDR fighter is a BETTER Ranged Class. They may shoot a bit slower but do nearly as much dmg and can close caps, tank, front line, and heal.

Backstep isnt stopping a raged barbarian with ironwill or a PDR fighter thats stacking Agility on every plate piece with heaters to block my forcefulshot/multi. The only way to kill them is trap them. And i only get so many traps. If i get in 2-3 fights before fighting them its pretty much gg.

Backstep is a troll pick. It's very fun and definitely useful for spacing, but taking it means you forfeit triple shot or forceful shot. Go build a kit and run backstep, get landmine and lmk how INSANE it is. That fighter is gonna hit you once and shoot you twice.
