but plate is pretty cheap I think? the pieces that druid uses are used by nearly every class, it's very high demand. I'm spending like 500+ on every piece for a really good kit. You need to build dex, str, health, move speed, and pdr if you're going that route on bear. I don't think it's as cheap as you think

as simple as it sounds the panther 9 times out of 10 out ms you so it will simply turn and bait the attack if they're smart and the rat is about 2 pixels large so hitting it require precise aim whilst all they have to do to win is turn bear and right click enough times so they either 1 shot you or corner you

I think the best way to fix Druid is that you have to pick which specialty you wanna focus in.
If you focus on shapeshiftinf , your spells become weaker, you heal less, you deal less damage , and your treant isn’t big enough to block people at the door, just a tiny lil cute groot.
And if u specialize in spells, your damage on shapeshifts is nerfed by 50% , basically to only incentivize rat and chicken form and maybe panther for movement but not rly for damage

Traps are fine man. When you chasing a ranger just follow his path and jump when he jumps.
Alternatively you can look at the floor and quickly move your mouse horizontally so if there is a trap you will see the”disarm trap” interaction pop up , then you jump.
Rangers need something that slows you down a bit from just apeing them

I dont know what a Wilson is, infact I couldn't name any of the streamers other than Dimo.
Video's from his youtube were passed around a discord I was in.

I used to view a lot of footage of cheaters back when you were in diapers for community servers.
While it's hard to say for sure based on watching dimo's own recordings, his behavior is suss enough and at baseline he plays poorly enough I'd ban him for the well being of the community as even if it's jsut a couple of freak occurances it's not worth the headache for a single guy that is probably cheating.

Any decent moderator from 90-10 would have done the same.

I was perched on a wooden frame in chicken form and there were two people fighting - one was a cleric and the other was a wizard. I yelled in voice "guys, there's a fighter over there" and they rallied and turned him into a stuffed animal. It was glorious, but then they killed me and shared the same platform up and escaped out of the dungeon. It happens

At least half of my games this morning have had at least 1 toxic rage baby teammate, it's amusing and embarrassing that people can't communicate without instantly raging and talking to people like trash because they are behind a screen. Yes I did purposely TK one that started wounding our other teammate because he had a red name and cant punish me lol.
I want a feature that allows us to block specific players from our matchmaking team, even if I have to wait 5 minutes I want to make sure I don't get paired up with these pathetic little dweebs again. weapons have impact higher impact can break more stuff and with less hits (kinda like a hp bar for objects), and also if your impact power is higher then the enemy shield impact resist you will like break their guard mommentarilly if the impact resist is higher it stops the combo of the weapon kinda like hitting a wall, also if the impact res and power is the same then no negatives for either side

Well yea the major point of a PvE mode would be to be able to practice the Dungeons and progression, and IM would get a win-win out of the situation either way:
The new Players who just need practice at the Game as a whole can practice at their own Pace, and once they got the PvE and Dungeons of the Game down they can go at it in the regular mode against other Players, and the Players who dont like the PvP also get to enjoy the Game too.
And considering how much experienced players can Gatekeep players that arent good enough yet this is an optimal solution because you can naturally focus more on the Games PvP, because the PvP unfortunatly isnt as organic as it would seem because its as likely to find somebody checking spawns instead of going towards popular POIs.
Plus it wouldnt really split the Playerbase that much, because not only due to the practice reason I mentioned above, but also because the people who arent touching this Game because of the PvP in the first place arent really a loss to the already existing Playerbase in the Regular mode.

I also see comments from time to time in in other discussions where players would rather enjoy proper pvp instead of players that are just constantly running away or giving up, and that would also help alleviate the Problem.
Although the PvE of the Game does need a major rework in general, and while a PvE mode would be helping in terms of popularity and player numbers it would only be a band-aid considering the other major flaws that the Game has in terms of Level-design, Enemy Pathfinding, the ability to quickly traverse the whole dungeon, the Stagnant Movespeed Meta in PvP, the Class and Weapon balancing etc. , but it would be a profitable Band-aid that would help the Playerbase as a whole and give IM a bit more time to actually work out all the kinks

IM could take inspiration from EFT's PvE mode and basically add an additonal choice below the Name of the character creation screen to either select the character to be a regular character or a PvE character, with PvE characters having their own instanced Playermarket, affinity generation and their own shared stash etc. that would be completly seperated from the regular Game
(Ik that you can seamlessly switch between PvE and PvP in EFT, but EFT doesnt have multiple characters so the option to select it has to go somewhere, and you can still switch rather seamlessly by changing characters)

Well as I mentioned above, the Playerbase is already somewhat divided due to the aspect that you not only have players quitting because this Wipe is rather stale, but also because of alot of players beeing Gatekept by what effectivly is spawnrushing and people going after new players in low gearscore lobbies which is detrimental for the amount of players playing, this can be seen by the average amount of daily players becoming smaller and smaller faster than usual.
And as ive said, the Players who will quit the Game because they dont have fun dying to another player in the first 2 minutes without having a chance at getting better will either quit or play for a while and then quit later.
And beeing able to seamlessly switch between the two modes would allow that Playerbase to not only properly get aquinted with the Game in the first place, but it would allow them to enjoy the Game regardless of their nature and also potentially practice PvP with their friends (that is under the assumption that the PvE mode would function like an instanced private lobby of the regular game), if you are concerned about potential profit it could even be limited to the Legendary edition.

The smaller studios can be categorised in two types:

I agree with this , but I would like to add that , the CEO of wooden mallet has said they only have 1 coder in the company. That’s sdf, they have made a lot of money that they should hire more.

The wyvern boss was fine before wipe, after wipe , he was immortal and that took 2 weeks to patch. How?
The chain lightning was fine before patch , then after patch , it was chaining to 5 instead of 4. How?
They have enough funds to hire another coder , but instead are sending out fart animations?
I get that they are a small company, but their efforts are on the wrong place…
Look at the grimsmile exploit for example, first week of wipe , grimsmiles were being crafted , which is an item that you would only have access to a month after the wipe.
It took them a full week to address it , and when they did , they simply banned the accounts, but they didn’t remove the grimsmiles from the market?
There were 30 pages of an item on the market , that shouldn’t even exist, how can they leave 30 pages of an exploit item in the game?

I used to love ironmace and back them up , but after being thrown stuff like this into my face, at some point , I can’t defend them anymore..

The main Problem with Arena is that the PvP's core design flaw is that the person with the better setup wins, instead of the person who is better at the Game in general, and Arena without any Gearscore brackets shows that.
If Arena for example would only allow you to play with Squire Gear, had considerably less PvE enemies and lower tier Gear in the Loot-chests it would be alot more skill-based PvP because players could actually focus on the Arenas main Point, but as it is right now it rougly acts as an opposite to an ability to practice PvP, and while a PvE mode would essentially bring Lower Highs but Higher Lows it is a lot safer addition to Content, because the entire PvP Balancing aspect (which is extremily important) falls flat in that particular mode, which allows players to not be hindered by its aspect in learning the Game.

This is less on the amount of people (however, that too) and more on the management side of things. I understand that they are hesitant to hire more people cuz they may not be fully certain that the money stream will stay as it is rn or they simply don't know how to manage more people.

Safe to say that it is clear that they don't have good business process in place for bug reporting, prioritizing urgent tasks and so on. Also some of the time they simple may not know how to fix a thing because I doubt they have a strict code conduct in place, it usually makes the process of finding and fixing errors way more difficult.
In general not a lot of companies have those things down. I've worked in a lot of companies and seen various levels of management quality when it comes to tasks management and quality of delelopment. So it is not surprising to me. However, it doesn't make it better. So I understand your point and agree with it. It's just that the reality is that not that many people even know how to set up everything well enough even in established companies. That sucks haha

Fair, I’m not a coder myself, so I don’t wanna speak about something I am uneducated.
But is it really that hard to just delete Grimsmile from the game? And then you have 3-4 weeks left to fix the problem.
That one really annoyed me.
They banned the exploiters ( which didn’t do much, cause a lot of the exploiters used free to play accounts to make the grimsmiles , then drop them ingame to their teammate and delete the character so goblin doesn’t send it back )
The item is STILL not possible to craft.
What they did , basically rewards the exploiters.
These exploit guys started with way more gold then they should have , and we just wiped.
After a wipe , u gotta pay super attention to stuff like this or it potentially ruins the entire season..

The test realm is an especially big blinder. However, I don't think manny exploits will be found there cuz the value of having something in game is higher on the production servers.
You are totally right about everthing else tho.

The only thing I can say is that it is way harder to do right from inside than it seems from the outside. After the fact it is easy to see what they did wrong. In the moment they may think that they will manage to do something on time or don't know how big of an issue something is (especially if their bug reports management sucks ass).

It feels like either they are super inexperienced or managed by people who have no idea how to set up a good process or the management simply doesn't care. If it's the first two things, the game will eventually turn out good. It will take time and they will fuck up a lot of things along the way. As long as they have the will to make the game good there's a chance. If the main goal is not that... Well, there's no hope

Dumb question; When, and/or where can i craft for example a "Golden Felling Axe"?

I just finished the last weaponsmith's quest and there is no option to craft this.

I'm so bummed out about the Arena mode... I've been waiting on it since it was announced, and couldn't do anything but keep my hopes up every time I heard about it, but now that it's been out for a couple weeks, I can honestly say I don't have any pleasure queuing into it, whether that be with randoms or with a pre-made team.
I feel like all the modules were picked very poorly, mostly because of the spawn points that are overwhelmingly unbalanced, I feel like looting is totally unnecessary and just takes time away from the main reason I would queue into Arena, PvE just feels like an obstacle and a huge downside if you don't run invis pots or a rogue in your team, especially when, well, the other team does...
I've put thousands of hours into the game and really was looking forward to this gametype to try and build a competitive team again, but everything that goes with the meta of this specific gametype right now is simply not the way I want to play this game. I can't stop myself from thinking I hate everything about Arena in this current state, and these thoughts make me so sad that I don't want to boot up the game anymore even just to finish questing...

Ofc this is just my opinion, I just wish that I'll be able to move on from the fact that I just can't play the gametype I've been waiting for all year, from a game I've been waiting for all my life.

I don't think it does, as long as there's a reasonable time where the only way to aquire the item is through glory.

I like the "next two seasons" it becomes available.

That means for two seasons people saw that and knew you earned it. But noone cares if you were a champ in season 1 or 2. Bring it back and people will want to earn the new stuff.
