How are there Rubysilver Vestments in the marketplace to buy then, I am wearing a set right now. How do I craft them?
Im still stupified by the fact we still get low to mid quest rewards but no additional affinity for doing the quests over and over, id atleast take more Gear per quest reward or increased Gold amounts but have the quest progress be accountwide, unlike just affinity.
Especially because some quests are alot easier to complete on certain classes than other quests, which would also encourage playing more than one class unlike the current state where your best bet is to take one really strong class like Fighter, Warlock, Ranger or Bard and complete every quest on those while the others just get the "free" ones out of the way

Well id rather favor class counters, because if we theoretically make it harder to traverse rooms for everybody by for example putting an end to the movespeed meta and retaining your movespeed then alot of the modules would work alot better within a PvP balance because then positioning, flanking and planning ahead would reward you alot more than it currently does

ruins is fine, the quests are the thing that need the rework and ruins needs to be the second layer if its going to be that big and open im sorry, having an open concept map with a bunch of ways to sneak through rooms makes the second layer freaking empty after 10 mins, awful design choices
Ruins is not fine at all IMO
That and the aspect that it is incredibly easy to spawnrush other players not only on Ruins but also on Goblin Caves which is kinda breaking the PvEvP aspect because it removes the PvE part out of the equasion.
Combine that with the aspects that you not only have 3 out of 4 quests on that map and the second and third floor have a 50/50 chance to not be the layout that you require because for some reason those quests cannot use Coordinates as a completion requirement and you get what the Boondocks would consider "A TOTAL MF'ING DESASTER"

And then having to wait 6 minutes so that they can have 15 seconds of Gameplay because by this point the probably completed most of the non-ruins quests
and then getting the wrong layout for the castle so you wait 15 mins to maybe not die in hell to the super charged nightmares this wipe

Why is a support class the best class in the entire game? (Bard in solo duo trio
Pretty much, Movement speed beeing an absolutly stagnant meta, jumping retains your movespeed which breaks the combat system in multiple aspects, alot of PvE enemies beeing cheesed because of how easy it is to stand on something they cant hit you or pathfind to, 125+ Gearscore/High Roller having zero skill in their PvP aspects because 8 out of 10 pvp encounters are decided by who has the better Gear setup, little to no weapon balancing because only a few weapons are actually viable in comparison to others, just to name a few

enemies being cheesed is the worst part about this game cause it makes it so they cant properly balance it easily without reworking pathfinding, abilities the mobs have (like being able to mantle or jump even), or just leaving the enemies as hard and stupid as they are.
And most importantly, development wise nothing really happens to address these problems, the most you see in terms of "balancing" is a few numbers beeing pushed around depending on how they feel about it, which might seem like its working on the first glance, but once you are aware of all the other issues it is clear that they are not doing anything against any problem which goes way deeper.
The Devs dont really listen to alot of these concerns because they have a Bias towards people that have enough influence (streamers or their own staff for example), and aslong as they dont really bring those problems towards the developers they dont really care about them
Didnt even have to get into two classes break the game for trios and a third is by far the strongest melee for two whole wipes without nerfs, ignoring huge amounts of the game by bypassing modules, empty crypts and inferno lobbies, rampant cheating, goblin merchant gamba, economy being cooked by cheaters, biggest dupe in the games history this wipe, tons of exploits, theres so much it cant be listed

Quite literally, as it stands right now the only realistic way this Game would be safed is is we get another SPT scenario, which although would probably require a Legendary status in order to not be hit with a CnD because this would either give more people a reason to buy the legendary edition, or it would give IM new inspirations for their development because then they have a clear way of seeing what the Community actually wants

So you are saying that spawnrushing is a good strategy and new players should learn how to deal with players who ignore half of the Games aspect in order to be able to might get to the other half for the unlikely case that they actually win vs. the spawnrush and then have to deal with not only their starter room but also a congaline of mobs that is already aggro'd?
specially when players are* riding the GS line and mogging players with like 11 gear score with a bis green weapon for that class

Are newbies playing HR or 125+ gs? because I rarely encounter "spawn rushing" anywhere else, like very rarely 🤷 Spawn rushing is lame regardless but it hardly happens enough that it is the main issue with retaining players. most people are rushing the hotspots if anything
if you want to spawnrush just play arena, oh wait its full of pve still and bans you temp for playing it, theres no workable solution rn for new players engaging with pvp* veterans in the same lobby

to take actions against spawn rushing they could start by increasing the movement speed of monsters from normals the same as elite monsters with no other changes..forcing players to kill the monsters, also increasing the aggro from a "rised" mob to be stuck on same player for a longer period of time.
cop being 30 damage is not very much compared to every other range class. that being said, the rework also allowed for people to use more melee since they are no longer spamming cop
i want my normie friends to like the game but they feel like pve is already to hard for them pvp is overwhelming, they dont have time to learn or breathe without slogging through games

ruins are ruins...i never claimed a fix for that to me is total bs...but the rest of the maps have doors and checkpoints where you have to clear the mobs people that breaks / open doors instantly should be hitted atleast once by mobs and if not a door is closed being chased by the same mobs.
a hitscan that also hits offcenter of the reticle btw. it also only has 850 range which is barely outside of halberd range

if new players like the game and they have a head and 2 hands..they can invest time into learning...if they dont want to learn pve they will fail completely anyway in pvp.
As a newer player, I find the challenge of balancing PvE and PvP fun and invigorating. With that being said, they really need to work on their matchmaking system. Though I like the thrilling nature of a PvPvE roguelike, I do not like being spawn rushed by 1,000+ hour players within my first few games ever. They really need to consider time played in their matchmaking metrics.
I think the issue is the players don't even make it to the pve lol, spawn rushers are already there by the time they're fighting the first mob

cause as much as i love hardcore games, the player count is the player count right now and its not appealing to enough players to be a sustainable live service game imo.
increase pve movement..on hit while open a door by a goblin is a pain, a skeleton headshot its a pain, imagine them moving at the speed of elite. Newer players as i called out before to IM could have a 3 days of learning into a lobby where only new players can acces for 3 days where they can get the hang of pve and pvp against other new players, after the 3 days they join normal players.

It would ruin timmie slaying for experienced players. It wouldn’t ruin the game. I get wanting to feel invincible and you getting your rocks off on slaying timmies, but it does nothing for new player retention. That’s what ruins games.

the issue is that HR is not out yet. Why they wait a month to put HR in after season is stupidity. it breaks every part of this game. all the scumlords are running around game trying to kill people doing quests
Maps are too small and too many players per lobby to even sherpa teach new players and trios is too imbalanced with bard/cleric gap to even reasonably teach new players trying to get into HR or 125+
playing on EU as a newbie I barely got spawn rushed, to the point i dont even recall it happening, neither do I see it that much now on anything, not sure what peopel consider spawn rushing but i cant remember the last time i got into pvp in my spawn module lol
high roller forces you to bring in gear that makes dealing with elites and nightmares way easier.
I have only been spawn rushed a few times myself in Ruins, I am very player avoidant though and often sit in one of the corners of the map for a while clearing it all.
I think they should improve HR to entice more people to play it. Like making all found loot blue grade or above
the solution imo is tighter gs brackets in arena with no pve, gives players a way better environment to practive pvp and get good without having to deal with normal game stuff
you make me believe your the guy that rushes spawn right now, because you deny experience of highroller, you can open a door the same speed as in normals yet in highroller you clear the room, increase movement speed of monsters as elites with no other changes and given to new players a 3 day newbies lobbyes would do the trick for anyone interested, the rest can quit not everyone can be good at a game.

Same. I experienced this 3 times within my first 10 games ever. Experienced players spawn rushing in 25 and under to get their rocks off. Smurfing in this game is pretty sad.
you get to the door faster tho, higher rarity is more movement speed. also you dont? more resourcefulness means more interaction speed which means door faster.

@unique salmon Most of them are probably just getting their 3 kill quest done. It is basically free to them with their skill and experience and it sucks - but I don't think seperating the matchmaking is great as it just increases everyone's queue times and leads to more empty lobbies.
When I go into a ruins match, regardless if its solo duo or trios 9 out of 10 matches have a alteast 1 player kill within less than a minute
They need to do something to nerf movespeed so it isn’t the most important stat. Really annoying how you have to get over like 315 ms minimum or you lose

Changes:
-Fighter weapon mastery splited into: Ranged weapon Mastery and Melee weapon mastery.
-Druid Shapeshift Mastery removed.
-Barbarians got slingshot/bola ranged weapons.(SDF proposal into a podcast).
-Monsters into the normal dungeon movement speed increased as the Elites with no other changes.
-Warlock spells costs more knowledge.
-Bards shriek of weakness time to cast increased by 3 sec and radius decreased by 2m, resourcefullness decreased by 5.

I agree to an extent. It would definitely increase queue times temporarily. But with increasing new player retention and giving them a fair chance to learn both the PvE and PvP side of things, queue times will steady out once those players become increasingly comfortable.
not sure if faster mob movement is good, but instead maybe have it where mobs move faster if your back is turned. Not sure how hard that is to implement

possibly 🤷 i see way more people rushing hotspots than spawns regardless. Not sure how you get around it without just locking people to their spawn module at the beginning of the match so people have a chance to do something there, but Im sure most people play this game for the PvP and with a bigger map and/or less players people are just going to get bored anyway, its a fine line to find and I dont have much faith they would find it lol
the request of more knowledge is to make warlocks wear occultist boots or their vest...so they dont run naked and kite.

I stopped playing Goblin Caves for the most part, since it seems to be the map for likely spawn rushing. The map I dislikes most when I first started (Frost Mountain) is my go-to now. PvE is a bit more dangerous, so it makes the rushing less common.

yeah i'm the same, Frost Mountains is my favourite map now, even for pvp. Some of the modules are very spacious and good for fights. Also lots of height too creating interesting situations

Not just rookie lobbies. I think they should make a PvE lobby where all drops armor/weapon drops are Bind on Account and only useable in PvE lobby. No treasure drops or anything sellable.

its not a wizard though, theres a reason why a lot of people build for movespeed because warlock has to get close to be effective and movespeed is heavily dictating how a lot of engagements go, people get tired of being run down so easily. That also doesnt change the fact that it has cost them more HP to cast anything now so do we just continue nerfing casters for lock into the ground til no one plays it at all?

i played warlock both naked and normal plate like cleric no demon armor, i 1 hit a barbarian in head with pos + bloodshed blade and bos, i was using halberd. On top of that i havent used demon pact nor curse of pain (didnt had time).

I like the fighter idea for the mastery perk. I also think they should maybe give back the decreased dmg when using weapons not meant for fighter. So atleast 10% dmg reduction again. Barbarian slingshots sounds like it could make the class completely broken if it were to be too effective in my opinion. But i am biased i hate barbarians so i'm just scared they'll become meta. I don't think warlock spells need to cost more knowledge especially after recent nerfs, i think warlock has been nerfed enough for now. Bards shriek of weakness it would be a good idea to slightly increase cast time, but i dont think the radius decrease is necessary. Rookie lobbies i think would add unnecessary lobbies that split up the player base too much. Usually mid-to-end wipe player base goes down and i dont think we will have enough players to fill all these lobbies.
Also swift perk could use a nerf, it used to be 20% its now 30%. I think 20% is fine

yes. its a permanently thing not a bug. you must bring items only found by YOUR CHARACTER and used in arena by YOUR CHARACTER in order not to lose them.

What you’re suggesting is essentially a PVE lobby right? You’re splitting a portion of the base forever and giving them a different game with no rewards, I’d like to see you explain this concept a bit more.
On the topic of rondel, splitting weapon masteries won’t make a difference, what makes rondel fighter strong is stacking true damage, you’re super tanky and fast, and have the ability to negate your armor cooldown. There needs to be a penalty for using other weapons again tbh.

splitting the pve lobby is simple. lets say your a new player, you go into first dungeon you die to a goblin, you go second dungeon you die to a skeleton, you go third dungeon your rushed by another experienced player and you die 1 min into the spawn so you quit or try hard:)) as we vets did by now, instead go into a lobby only with monsters and practice..of course with no rewards no loot not quests to count the game its stalemate and boring so you will have eventually go into pvp and quests and content of the game.
Only if stuff is found by you or crafted by you everything else will be lost
Sure, but you need to integrate those players somehow. I think some time of soft 10 game cap to learn pve could work, but you can’t lobby split forever.

max movement speed its a joke...i guess, the only classes that can claim having max movement speed are classes with the lightest weapon such as wizards or warlocks because they hold a book with is -10 ms, barbarian with axe out cannot achieve max movespeed unless they sacrifice everything else like pdr, damage or max health bonuses or attack speed..or atleast achieve one of this + max movement speed.

I've lost 40k, sold all my big bags, all my items. And lost it all game after game. Why? Druids are the most broken thing in the game. I've been fighting hackers constantly. Incredible rubber banding, Such a great game being run by a team that just dont know what they are doing, or what they actual want. One part wants 'high death rate in seconds' one part wants 'longer fights' SDF only comes up with the most horrible ways to ruin this great game.
maybe just reduce the phy power and armor rating reduction by a bit

nah, its effectiveness is kinda crazy, I never watched a bard do cyclops before, but it usually takes a good 10ish seconds to get cyclops out of rockfall phase with a longsword, but a bard came in and shrieked it and it piterally took like 4 swings, it was shocking
thats bc most pve has almost 0 armor rating as is, so another -50 is huge to them, a pdr fighter prob has 250+, so its not as big of a shift
its still just too fast to use with zero downside for its effectiveness
also the duration isnt even a problem because of how spammable it is

6 seconds only lets them get a couple of hits in, its really good for pve, and it is still solid for pvp, but its not as broken as people claim it is, and without it bard would get folded by every class, it lets them actually be viable at melee range, otherwise the class will 100% be kite and kiter with surv bow

yea im saying do something to similar to what was done to rousing rythms( which got constant buffs not constant timer), just make the duration constant regardless of performance at 6 seconds, and keep the rest as is
imo most of the issue is that if i land shriek on someone i can still kite around for another 20 seconds or so until i get an oppurtunity to attack and get damage off, at 6 seconds i have to go in for damage almost immediately after playing shriek, which would make bards going in for attack much more readable (therefore more counterable) and make it so that bard cant just shriek 1-3 people for the 90% of the duration of that engagement

i just completed it on ruins, so its doable, i did it with specifically poor pots except magic protection bc thats minimum uncommon

PDR fighters can laugh and afk while you stab, make a sandwich, come back and stab you back with the same dagger and instantly win. I know because I play both sides of that exchange in HR.

Im talking after : 1 watching podcasts, checking debates of streamers (aka spudhunter that seen a lot of players dieing to pve), i play the game for many hours thou only in 3 classes and yet this is all i could get to make a balanced patch.
A lot of good games died because people cried about loot, but when they got what they wanted, they quit anyways because they ran out of stuff to aim for.

And combine useless traits like regular action speed magical action speed and action speed. The end

dagger damage is rough bc as it is they already scale horribly with strenght and most of their power is true phys, and true phys is capped at like 7 if you have the best necklace for it, i feel like the upper end needs scaled down more than the lower end for sure, so i think making frost amulet split its atributes between true phys and something kinda useless for combat like reg interaction speed would be a nice compromise

a macro is like
say you wanna jump then 180, thats 2 (or more inputs) but you set up a script that makes it so when you hit "k" (just any input or button on your keyboard mouse), it runs a script that presses spacebar (jump key) and then moves your mouse the equivalent of 180 degree turn tothe left or right)
so basically you can press 1 button and have multiple things happen in the order you desire
this can be useful for things that maybe require precise timing (bard songs) orgoofy movement tech (bhopping, shapeshift launching) or other nonsense
the reasson people would say this is like cheating is bc it removes all skill expression from a given task, you arent hitting some nice bhops, you just held k and your macro script did the bhopping for you in the desired direction

ranged is fine to me.. you can dodge, they must aim, warlock had it comming the cop deal even now good damage, the problem with it was the kiting ability, as a caster he didnt need knowledge or will to much to deal impressive damage hence the kiting ability wich they wear - lightfoot boots, loose trousers(not mandatory), no top and shadow mask on top they have felidian race...only with rawhide gloves maybe? so phantomize should give no speed bonuses and it should have been charged, cop nerf isnt big and they need to stop kiting hence get stuff for casters like knowledge.
I dont want them to remove bhop but the macros are crazy rn its too busted gotta reel in from the top end but keep the game fun
@solid dew all kinds of cheating exists. I'm more inclined to ban the esp hackers, aimbotters, wallhackers, fly hackers, ect. before worrying about macros. The game does a good job of being anti macro already with things like mouse targeting for spell selection
scripting like macros isnt happening in thge game runtime, its just forcing certain inputs that get read by the game
which is a lot different than running lua scripts in gmod to get an in game esp overlay, but still impactful
also relavant that a lot of other scripting like esp overlays anymore are also a bit external to the game, bc its much harder to detect

You'll never beat macros because they can be raw inputted with things like a razer mouse. And in this game they aren't majorly present or advantageous. The aimbotters headlocking you with a rondel or a longbow are more problematic
or the vast* majority of hitscan abilities in warlock kit

macros are cringe and you are not as good as you think you are if you are using them
but the difference between macros and actual aimbot/esp is like the difference in having really well kept high quality skis, and having a ski mobile
When you see someone cleaning out a lobby with hitscan spells like Zap, Curse, Explosion, ect. They are probably aimbotting. FYI.
Even longbows are fast enough projectile speed and non existant bulletfall and can be aimbotted with high accuracy.
Ray of darkness is the most cringe and obvious thing to aimbot. Watching the death replays of some of these cheaters is yucky.
Also, for those that don't know. You can enable death replays in the options menu

Cheating in games has peaked for sure. Estimates more than half of players now. It's insane because with stuff like anyBRAIN we have the tech to ban them. But companies won't do it because of greed. Cheaters spend money too.
and if youre shot in the legs youre dead no matter what because you not only have to heal it youre too slow to get to cover before the guy kills you

@empty latch its a common tactic to let cheaters get away with it then ban them in waves for profit. This way they feel they can keep getting away with it for another year or so even though they actually get caught immediately. It tricks them into spending more money starting over.

Because a PDR fighter dies instantly to magic. They have to sacrifice things like dark plate for full PDR. And because druids do no damage outside of slow ass bear form and if you die to a druid you are kind of a noob.

No druid really goes bear form. Panther is the best go too. Especially in HR. Where it's easier to get in and get out. Bear form is extremely niche.
Engage druid bear form with ranged only. Engage all other druid forms with explosive bottle and melee and laugh maniacally as you stomp them.

Panther is a big target that no matter how you build is very squishy. A good druid will kill you with a legendary spear before risking instant death.

bc it needs to be long enough cooldown that you cant just disengage, reset while you wait for it to come up, then push back in as many times as you like
so either a stupid long cooldown so that they cant just reengage before their opponent has time to reset, or charges so they can only pull that trick a few times per raid before they need to burn consumable to regen it

Don't propose changes that nerf a characters identity. Add tooltips on loading screens for how to creatively/properly engage them.

You only get the leaver penalty if you lose so gear up! But we all suffer from it because even winners get longer queue times when all opponents are banned by it.

If weapon 1 is 40 damage and has +1 additional weapon damage, and weapon 2 (on the same set dual wielded) has 41 damage + 1 additional weapon damage, your weapons are basically now 42 and 43 damage as both are receiving both enhancements

I've had two spears that are same quality, but one with enchant says it deals 40, and another one that only dealt 38 without enchant

it doesn't show the damage on the weapon, you have to scroll down to the stats in game to see the combo damage. The weapon reads only its original damage. So it is now 39

Yes. You make multiple exchanges, or trade value items instead of gold. Like keys, gold bags, ect.
They should add a skill to wizard that lets you meditate and leave your body in a state where you cant do anything or be seen but you can walk through doors a certain distance from your body

Getting sandiwiched at the door the second you open it is never fun. Albeit that it's my own risky playstyle that usually ends me up there but even just taking damage from something you 100% couldn't avoid sucks.
The way the extraction was designed foster betrayal, it's a bit horible for team play and bonding that you have this one way outs.
I changed my whole strategy to be the first one to ditch my team.
I even escaped a guy that wanted to fight to to walk past him into the entrance he was blocking.

Sounds good. there definetly needs to be a counter to riposte as it just stalemates the fight. had the longest fight with a warlock last game. Eventually i had to give up and leave as every time i had him dead to rights he would whip out the long and potentially onetap me. its such bs :L
