After coming back to the game for so long, I am pleased to see they went the way I hoped they would with wizards spells and recharging. Having to sit for ages or just at a campfire was an insane decision at first but made sense for their goal of copying D&D

My honest opinion of IM is they have made flip flopping buffs and nerfs EVERY single patch, they have added next to 0 content that is actually desired by the player base. They make incompetent changes and then when they see the result(obviously they don’t play their own game)they change it back to how it was before. They promise features and don’t make them(skill tree). The flip-flop changes of IM don’t make any sense.

tough to say, I would imagine the most likely scenario is that IM will be forced into a plea bargain where they have to pay nexon licensing rights. That is the most common result in american courts and what would benefit Nexon the most financially. However, from Korean news reports and allegations Nexon seems extremely upset, and given Korean culture, it looks like they might want to just make an example of IM. So going off past Korean court cases the end result would be the devs going to actual prison and the game being shut down.

You live under a rock if you think there’s no cheaters in almost any game that has multiplayer in 2024. Be it aimbot/walls/etc. you could literally google cheats for any game you want probably and find results in 30 seconds. It’s just sadly rampant. Cheating isn’t just tapping heads when they got on your screen. It’s being able to know where ppl are and the ability to avoid fights you won’t win with ease and that’s something a lot harder to track than aimbot

Not only that, but the main complaints for players fighting warlocks are two things:
Movement and range
Its a class that can hit you for hitscan instant over time damage while healing himself
They nerfed phantom yes, but you still will see warlocks running it as its just too viable
The hitscan hasnt changed and they just buffed the scaling of the damage so you can expect warlocks to continue to spam CoP while half naked

Not to mention, throwable nerfs directly affect melee classes ability to close distance, that damage is gonna be negligible against a warlock now

Hilariously enough, the movespeed with a drawn Recurve is almost identical to the movespeed when casting a spell. Its similar with the Longbow if you run Kinesthetia (keep in mind the Longbow has a -50 MS penalty, so its still slower).

For instance, I think Fighter's Sprint should be better, but also worse. I think Sprint should give you a LOT of movespeed (maybe 100), but not only does it have a duration, but the buff is instantly cancelled the moment you perform an action or start an attack.

That way its actually like a sprint; as it is now you basically just jog towards your enemy while shanking them to death, which makes no sense for a skill called SPRINT

If ranger has kines they have similar movespeed and that is somewhat comparable to warlocks running health off curses

Rangers with quickfire also negates the penalty while getting damage off which is somewhat comparable to Warlocks phantom step giving invulnerability and speed buff

I really do think it all comes down to risk/reward where the ranger has to commit to fighting (via quickfire or going for headshots) and the warlock has to stall for phantom and health to come back

If you are forced to melee fight the longsword player make sure you throw your swings unpredictably. Longsword players LOVE to ego and spam block for their parry attack, and if you can abuse that you can DESTROY most of them.

the problem is Fighter : rondel dagger, longsword reposte and in general weapon mastery. Second problem is druid with instant transformation..the third problem is that warlocks was still very potent in other builds anyway but now COP its almost back so...yeah, he still does bosses easy peasy, then we have bards that kill anything in a few 2-3 hits with a dagger after shriek...yet barbarians, wizards and rogues are almost unplayable classes.

I wouldn'pt use lament bc it takes long as fuck to play and your timing with it wont get that good until youre better at bard, but Shriek of Weakness is your best spell period. Keep melee enemies debuffed with it as you pelt them with your survival bow and watch them just drop.

Good thing I was the better player. And, while looting my riches from this dirty Rogue abuser, from across the room I spot it. A dreaded Warlock! "Good Golly!" I say to myself. I pull out my trusty bow, the main weapon of any melee tank, and lay into this heinous ranged character. Once he gets close enough, I give chase to this unholy demon. Unfortunately, he is 0.5% faster than I am and hits me with a vile Curse. It actually lowered my health bar! Do the devs not even play their game!? Do they not understand Fighter is the weakest class!? I choose to abandon my infallible Heavy Plate armor, but then he turns into a ghost right when my blade would reach him. What can I possibly do!? My instincts tell me to make a hasty retreat. After all, that 1/9th of an HP bar that I lost should be looked after post haste. But I turn away my better judgement and continue the chase...... to which I am justly rewarded!

Its just like in cultivation stories when the MC gets a big powerup and has to sit and meditate for weeks to ensure their body doesn't explode. Thats what Ironmace has been doing. Adding more and more slop onto their game until eventually it wont be able to take it anymore, and it implodes, brining the game and the company with it.
