Here is how I feel about the game at the moment as a ranger main with 1500 hours of game play. I love arena. Not losing my gear really brings a sense of progression when I find good arena gear. This love for arena has unfortunately shifted my attention from the main game, and now I find myself caring less about many aspects of the main game. Gearing up and PVP’ing in a normal dungeon feels lack luster, because a) arena satisfies my thurst for PVP without risking my gear, and b) even if I end up winning a fight a getting good gear as a reward, the gear is unusable in arena. Even though non-arena PVP feels like this, initially normal dungeons felt engaging since I had a chance to find arena gear in the dungeon. However, since craftable items from quests have been unlocked (like copperlight), I find myself just dumping money into crating items for BIS rolls, no longer am I farming for self-found arena gear. I was proud of my purple self-found riveted, but the copperlight riveted gear has made them obsolete. When gold and frostlight gear are unlockable, there are very few pieces of gear that require dungeon delving. In summary, I am happy with the state of the game, but arena is taking away my enjoyment from the main game, and if I burn out from arena (which will likely happen, since after dozens of hours, team fights with a clumsy looting system will get old), I feel like I will enjoy this game less than how much I enjoyed the game before arena came out.

Yea Barbs have an interesting class design because it combines High Risk-High Reward Gameplay with the ability to just say "fuck it", turn your Head off and W-LMB into a Trio, especially weapons like the Felling Axe will turn you either into a big pile of meat that just sits on a silver platter if you miss, or into a heccin Woodchipper if you keep hitting people

yes, magic damage bonus will scale with your will stat and any magic power / magical damage bonus rolls you have on your gear

so for curse of pain the instant damage is 15 with a 1.0 scaling so it gets the full 19% bonus, the dot is a 0.75 scaling so it will only get 75% of the 19%

The new bio’s update is to fresh to see results. Also you would be a fool to not get a AMD chip at this point late in the game. Buying a 13th/14th gen intel CPU will not be future proof due to that being that Gen’s last motherboard.

All you got to do is stress test it with Cinebench and it will let you know. Shit if it’s crashing on D&D then it will definitely crash on Cinebench. If it doesn’t crash then you can rule out the CPU.

play random duos, find a warlock friend. he doesnt speak great english but hes cooperative. invitees me to play again, we play a game, we die, but we played well. warlock invites his friend, a ranger. play two good rounds where were the ranger got out with a bunch of loot after we killed 3 teams, me and warlock dont get out but it was a success overall. play another game on Ice. we fight a team at a range for a bit, me and warlock engage and go in after ranger gets a mage kill. we kill them, felling good. get jumped by another team but theyre on the opposite corner of the tile so its fine, potion up and prepare to fight again. good odds at us winning, were all full basically,i have a prot pot popped and were engage again after the ranger again poked, i punch through the bard and two shot him and land a clean headshot on the fight and call this all out as i die, warlock is trying to rush the abandoned wizard, fighter comes back and they 2 v 1 him and kill him even though he lasts for a bit. spectator cam, THIS RANGER IS HIDING IN A ROOM WITH THE LIGHTS OFF AND PLACING TRAPS. it was like a fever dream. they know hes a ranger trying to bait him, engage together and avoid all his traps, dies like a dumb uncooperative coward thinking he can 1 v 3, and didnt even land a single frickin arrow or spear hit before dying.

Simple fixes for the game
Fighter : Add the damage reduction back to Weapon mastery so fighters cant do the same damage as a ranger which is beyond stupid and not sure why they did that.
Warlock: They either gotta reduce the curse of pain damage and add back the dagger use so warlock isn't a one stop shop or fully rework the class
Druid: The class itself is fine but they MUST add a timer on shapeshift so they cant just rat away or panther leap/chicken leap into someone's face to bear fight. - Lord Tingus says to delete druid
Ranger: They need to add a quiver so rangers aren't using up 60% of the inventory giving to them 1 second into a match..
Wizard: Reduce Damage on Explosion
Bard: Reduce drum damage so you aren't being two shot by drums lol
Rogue: Some slight buff or re-work
Bard: Some type of movement speed penalty when playing music
Barbarian: Delete the class, nobody wants you. (edited)

given that it gives you no move speed and has such a short duration it's only real use is in trios/duo but in trios duos druid is a really bad option at the moment that doesn't synergise well with ... really anything else.
In solos dream walk can be reliably timed by your attacker so they can run along jump and swing, shits not helping you escape at all.

Avoiding PvP is why I spend so much time on druid. I win most of my PvP engagements anyway but you're normally just in the way of whatever other thing I want to do.

PvE only with the arena mode is my niche, I love grinding shit then getting together with my trio on the weekend to bash skulls in. Loathe having to fight you while I'm bossing or questing though, just get out of my way

One thing I would add is a killed by encyclopedic knowledge base that can give you tips on why you died, what gear stats or skills to add to survive next time. Because there is so much to learn, new players need something in game and personal to help learn quicker

I think anything that teaches a new player stats, gear, power ratings, should be looked at to give the death meaning, which becomes a type of progression and a new player at least knows what happened and how to help themselves in the future. But I think this needs to remain in a pvp setting

oh no I COMPLETELY agree with you! Warlock and Druid are both in states where I consider them to be too strong. I play bard and other characters as well besides fighter. I've only made a druid this season to counter the warlock buff. I got tired of COP doing %50 of my health with 1 hit in HR. Last season I was technically a bard main but ended up playing warlock till the end of season to learn bossing better then ended up just grinding demi on it as well. If druid and warlock weren't so strong I'd honestly be playing my bard A LOT more this season or other classes like cleric again or wizard.

but with how it stands I'm feeling locked to these two classes as if you run into one of them as example a barb having tons of hp a bear will one tap you on most occasions in HR still. Achilles and reckless don't matter

And if you are running luck, HR also helps a ton for getting more valuable items

I would start with reducing the MS penalty for the recurve. It feels like if you want to use recurve, you essentially need to stack dex/action speed in order to make it viable with how fast people can advance. The bola-trap is actually an idea ive been thinking ab for awhile before reading what youve said. Additionally, they could create a different type of trap that sets up faster, but does less/no phys damage. Im hesitant to suggest adding weapon damage to the bows but it just seems with the dodging tech that people use (ie: swinging their mouse up all around at 9000dpi) it can be almost impossible to win a fight without having traps set up before hand

multishot is fantastic, i'm trying not to be biased as a recent ranger main, but it feels like there are soooo many classes that easily counter ranger

i guess using the push-back skill is a good method of creating spacing, but other than that it kinda feels really easy to lose fights based on MS

Hotfix X:
New patch notes arrived :
-Warlock phantomize duration its now 5 s and can be restored at campfires after 2 uses, movement speed buff removed from Phantomize.
-Warlocks CoP no target found, self cast.
-Druids must transform into a human before transforming into another animal, Druids have limited time into an animal form.
-Barbarians and Rangers got ranged weapons Bola and Slingshot.
Naked armor slots revamp: take 10% more damage / naked armor slot.(except savage for barbarians).
-Fighters weapon mastery removed and splited into ranged weapon mastery and melee weapon mastery.
-Bards shriek of weakness scales with resourcefullness.
-Recurve bow movement speed penalty reduced to -35.

complete all quests in order to be able to craft items, also there gonna be more quests added
