Most of the times issues coming from patching as such and the immediate aftermath are server overload and such things, no test server will ever have the capacaties of a live server and thus will never be able to accommodate those requirements in testing

• you are a better fighter thanks to the 15 str and 15 vig buff and being able to use same weapons
• got the best survival options in the game thanks to healing without having to worry about spells running out
• if you are ever surprised you can phatomize and reposition
  -manipulate exits-entrances and corner people with the hydra

you just have to "aim" and not even that because it's not hard to just hover over with how slow everyone is, so... what's the downside? how is it fair?

How do I find the new ruins map?

• Torches hit more but it's not ranged and do not scale with a passive that gives you 100% more magical power, nor free healing + pots.
• Flamewalker isn't even that important, but yeah, it's easy to dodge but it's still a tool you get for free healing while in a invulnerable position.
• I didn't even touch on BoC, but it's also buffed by 100% stack passive AND spell that buffs you for STR. It's not like you don't have time to cast it when you can ditch armor and keep kiting if you know how to play, doesn't matter if it's a 1 use only, if you hit you are most likely killing with the second hit.
• Low hp pool- how? even if you do not buff for vig you have free walking potions in the form of pve and heling in the middle of the fight while dealing tick damage just because. Range isn't even the issue when you are always gonna be faster
• Bows? rly? I mean sure but if you are in a fight with a martial class just walk away or create a position where you are in advantage, not like you don't have a dmg dealing wall that also heals you and blocks movement.
• Low action speed and strength... ofc it's gonna have those, it's supposed to be caster. "supposed" cause you can buff to be as strong as barb in stats with 1 spell that has no casting time.

-Torches hit more AND you can throw them, but it was an example to ilustrate that cop damage is low. Cop with highest gear in the game hits for less that wizard Zap in base gear.
-BoC is not buffed by strength. it runs out and you can block the damage. and is 13 base damage with 75% scaling. So 30 in the best case scenario if the warlock hits you in the head. And if they use BoC they either dont have phantomize or spells. So use range if they activate BoC and kite while they have it active. A cleric with smite will straight win vs a warlock with boc.
-They have low hp pool. If they buff using PoS on themselves they do, indeed,damage themselves.
-They have low base speed. if you are slower than a warlock, they are building more movespeed than you. This a issue with your build. You need good movespeed in solos.
-And yes, survival bows demolishes warlocks. If they are running TM they cannot heal with hydra. If they are not, the moment they put hydra up you can A) kill the hydra, 2 hits. B) push the warlock so they cannot heal. You can jump and press crouch to jump over an hydra.
-They have low action speed and strength and vigor and KNOWLEDGE so they are also a caster with low casting speed and spell memory. They sacrifice stats in order to become fast and to cast their spells fast.

The class is gutted, they nerfed it in the last like 4 patches in a row (except a meaningless cop buff). The thing is, is great for pve, is great for farming bosses. So a lot of Good players play it to farm gold. You are most likely finding good players that are gold farming so they make it seem like a "warlock" issue when is really good players stomping with whatever build

Yeah nightmare is +armor which is opposite of the default and elite. Rather actually take more armor than magic res. @worldly sorrel Rather that, than something like frost skeleton, which slows you a shitton (-3 move speed) only for 1 extra weapon damage
