ice basement? the upper layer is already hard enough so I dont think I will manage in a day, currently I slowly gather whatever I can from 3 rooms and exit, healing in between with druid's abilities. I got to apprentice 3 now, only died once because pvp, and another from a big pull. I look for something safest not so much about speedrunning it because I havent played much generally. (and losing AP is less of a problem than losing gear honestly in this position)

Honestly watch the video I send u. It explains everything very well. This way is propably the easiest there is because it has the lowest risk of pvp and avoids basicly all subbosses. Pack a bunch of meds and campfires and pull one mob at a time. Without disrespect: if you cant handle the mobs one at a time and with healing in between, then just skip out this season and try again next season. You will learn quite alot the longer you play and maybe going for high roller might just be a little bit out of your league right now. Dont stress yourself to much just for cosmetic rewards. Fomo is real but having fun playing the game is the most important.

Dont bother with the 2500 runs xD 750 per run is more than enough for pathfinder. It all depends on how often you die. And in gobbos chances of dieing are usually quite high cos of high risk of pvp. Ice has the lowest chance of pvp and therefore the highest payoff overall

If you have a solid extraction rate at gobbos with around 750 AP each run than keep at it. That's more than enough to reach pathfinder in a few runs even if you die once or twice

yeah consistency is very important. I do not die because I know where to go to get out in time, I died to pvp once and another to pve overpull. but I still do take damage, so druid is good for healing in between+pots (for rapid heal). I only didnt get 750 ap when I was finding bigger rare items rather than 4 rare smaller slots etc, but thats normal. I opened in those runs more chests though, it seems loot extracted takes priority in ap. (which means looting and ninja exit is good for consistency at early levels)

all i know is ive watched a lot of streams and youtube videos over the last year or so on this game. and i USED to see katie play with everyone all the time. she was a regular. turned out its not that easy without a burnout, purples seem expensive for the budget, tried though. went from 9k to 7k after 3 non consecutive deaths in HR, I recall there not being a requirement last time I played a month ago or so.
225 or so gs can be expensive to sustain for that much gold I have I think even with few deaths.

you can buy 4 rare quarter staffs, or ceremonial staffs and go in base kit. super super strong for AP farming alt characters, every equip you find you can just put on your character freeing more slots for jewels for AP.

If the "rank" for the glorified loot simulator ranking. your missing half the fun of the game. the enjoy of the game is after your done ddealing with the miserable "ranked" grind for your gold bags, you have made a ton of gold. Now you can buy strong kits and PVP only because you don't need loot..... "winning" the game is getting good at PVP or j ust being able to PVP permanently.

the ranks only mean your good at going into high roller, not interacting with players, you can PVE well, and you know where all the "good loot" is. and by "good loot" i mean jewelry for the collector. not even REAL good loot like unique items, legendary items etc.

Well clearly you didn't "beat" the game because your not rich enough to afford good kits... and multiple "good" kits at that. you can't consider yourself "done" if you can only buy 2-3 GOOD kits and then your broke. you can consider yourself done when you can spend the next week spending whatever tf you feel like and not be worried about going broke. bonus points if you can spend 20k+ on a kit, not die, and make over 20k worth of gold from your kills before you die, obviously extending your "fun time"

Warlock. Easiest to use the cheese described. You get a lot of ap based off kills and with double curse hellfire your essentially invincible against pve. Then it just takes a bit of prac on HR to run in a room ago the entire room and kill the entire room in like a minute. You get ap from mob kills and looting them so, the faster you can kill mobs loot and move on regardless if you keep or not will grant more ap. Some mobs you can't just pull you gotta cheese or fight normally like centaur for example because he's too fast he will catch u. But basically as long as you crouch at people tell them your base kit and kill a million mobs with a full inventory of preferably jewelry again not equips but fucking jewelry for collector. Then it should go really fast

The game is still catchy of my attention, but not because of pvp, it's rather about finding effective ways of clearing areas/rooms around.

@quaint ember , well, my experience is that - in the other two maps - the "rushing" pretty much happens too, or perhaps, it's because of the frequency of my visits that I say so. Still, the moment they hear someone nearby and farming - it's an invitation to attack the others.

Step 1 make money through selling expensive stuff found in normals ores monster parts quest items or blue/green items with good rolls
Step 2 abuse the merchants and quests by selling rewards and reselling specific expensive/popular items the merchants provide on the market
Step 3 make up stat goals in ur mind and build a kit around it using the marketplace
Step 4 bring a decent ammount of util into HR (my setup is 5 pot stacks, 5 bandage stacks 2 MD and PD potions green or higher one or two surg kits one or two lockpick stacks and any useful utilities any class uses like fran axes campfires knives etc
Your GS should be around 400-500 when you make a kit like this and hit all the generally accepted stat goals like having 130+hp on squishy classes, 50+PDR on fighter over 300 speed on anything etc and a kit like this will allow you to take on almost anyone unless their kits are actual bis or just really strong crafted items (legendaries with one good roll arent BIS ffs)

seriously, how hard can it be to punish people for pre-teaming in solo matches? there are like 10-20k max players everyday, they aren't that much, and i've reported multiple people for pre-teaming. its not hard to confirm the reports, you can see them kill a person, heal together and go for the next one. Ranger: traps slow you for less time, and don't lock you in place. Shotgun back to old strength. Give them native access to spear, let the perk be for power only. Give them native access to throwables.

Druid:
Make rat much fatter and slower, and make mobs able to hit it universally. Fix bear collisions on attacks so you can actually hit him during stand up.

Universal:

a Sprint system with stamina, used by sprinting, jumping, possibly attacks. Will help keep kiting in check.

Universal parries and blocks, so melee weak classes have more defensive options without so much kiting.

Shove or kick mechanic for melee weak classes to make space instead of constant kiting.

I suggested this a long time ago for all invis, but when you go invis it should unequip your weapons. Pulling out your weapons will break invis too. That way there's counterplay to landmine invis players, and theres a fair sound. Invis+invis pots could prolly get buffed to compensate

Yep invis is not the issues on Rogue the problem is the Landmine and the ability to 2-3 tap other people. That's why I think the suggestions i send is really cool. That's all rogues CAN do, they need better alternate builds, like around poison so the can do something other than land mine.

Also all classes with 15 knowledge can play land mine games with inv pots. Rogues have to give half thier skills to make hide better then just a potion. The entire build is dedicated to 10s of game play. It had better pay off.

no, not specifically. it depends on their rarity as well as the mob's class. If you need a green item, such as a giants toe, less luck stat and lower mob class is better, because its green. But if you need a blue(rare) or purple(epic) such as a yeti tooth you're more likely to get that with a higher luck stat from a higher class of mob like an elite yeti. Elite and nightmare class monsters spawn much more frequently in high roller making it better to fing rare and epic items.

tldr; no they dont drop more often in hr just because they're quest items.

Yea sometimes the class doesnt matter for some items, and luck can affect some mobs GREATLY where other mobs are hardly affected by luck at all. Whatever item you need, its always best to refer to the wiki. The guys that make it are very thorough at what they do

I hope crafting is really built up more in the future. It would be great if they took inspiration from things like RS3 and their Invention skill, allowing you to break down items into components you could use for crafting/targeted rolls. Would help with the item economy a ton too, so bad roll gear could be dismantled. Could also make things like drops from mobs that are useless outside quests get a boon, like Wolf Teeth, Mimic Tongue, Volcanic Ash, etc.

bro got the ranger flair, so maybe you have more insight than i do, but in my time getting ranger to lvl60 this wipe and playing against them as most other classes, i dont think trap is that bad.

the duration is a littl long imo for a tethered root in a game that otherwise doesnt have many stuns/roots, but you can avoid stepping in them and if the ranger isnt around you should live it perfectly fine anyways, and if the ranger is around you know to look for them

you just dont play into their strat, they want to kite you around the map into their traps, and they have good MS, so if you cant close the gap without running through their "territory" with traps, you run away and hope they chase, then kill them easily

trap is strong, but it is one of their main util pieces, and it can hit friendlies or the ranger themselves if they play poorly' so yea its fairly balancedm, maybe a little overtuned on duration but otherwise mostly fine

I think statwise traps are fine. It's just that rangers can carry so many of them. The solution would be to limit the amount you can have on your person but make it so they can be picked up again even after being used. So rangers can still secure there 'favorite tarrain' but they cant have traps everywhere

4-7 module hunting ground is not feasible imo, you can get out of the trap quick enough that if the ranger is not in line of sight you can get out of it in under 3 seconds taking only 15-25 damage

15 traps would take up an obscene amount of inv space, not theroetically undoable but kind of a waste due to the above point

the only issue with traps is the long duration, combined with being functionally full stunned while you disarm the trap

but having 15 traps is not the probelm imo and most rangers arent realisticaly bringing more than 4-6 in my experience

Ive always played warlock as a battle-mage that barely casts. If everyone is doing it, it’s because it’s the only 1-hand weapon you can use as warlock that isn’t the falichon that was nerfed to oblivion

Forms are bugged, they're naturally at -15 speed and they've never fixed it, so no it's actually a debuff and they can never reach capped speed.

and it wasn’t -15 move speed. but rather it was capped at 315. lots of people have said it’s been fixed though (wasn’t mentioned in patch notes bc for some reason they just don’t mention changes sometimes)

I mean no. It was for escaping before, and now it's only for door jumping. It's really bad. You're better off using panther to escape and rat to door jump now. It makes zero sense, and they even removed its stealth ability with the dumb squeak, which was also stupid.
