ive fought and killed many wizards, hell i literally killed 3 last night in game with friends. the wizards werent able to spam fireball, they got a few off here and there, because the ranger on my team was applying pressure. but the ones they got off were heavy hitters cause they were direct impacts, as a magic resist built fighter, they were dealing insane dmg, now im not saying the fireball should be killed, cause it shouldnt. it offers area denial, displacement, and more which is insanely helpful to the wizard, and their allies (if said wizard isnt in solos). but its dmg is way too high for what it does, and how many you can spam down range. because every wizard, that isnt new, is likely running overload for the extra charges. that dps potential is way too much to just skip out on

I think that having a gear score req for entering HR is potentially ok but 225 feels a bit excessive. I think 125 might still be annoying but would be a bit more reasonable-

idk, a part of the appeal sometimes was going in with limited equipment, and then getting a full gear set mid run through looting, which also gave more ap because its looted equipment.

Also this doesnt bother me too much as Ive already learned them, but how I learned Hr troll and etc a few wipes ago was by just going in HR with nothing over and over till I got it down, that method of learning is way harder now as you risk losing an entire gear set just to learn

You can get armor pen, true phys/magic damage, or just get super high base damage to still deal solid damage after armor calc

PDR scales based off of Armor Rating, and you can get separate rolls that strictly increase PDR without touching armor rating.

I think my desire to play this game has officially died. Every time I open it everything is so different because of the never ending patches that drastically changes all stats and that's not to mention that I've seen nothing but super sweats lately and am faced ridiculous learning curve. So I'll be doing regular dungeon stuff like fighting PVE, looting chests, tracking players etc. and out of nowhere my game will sort of freeze. I can still move around and view rooms like normal, but all mobs stop moving and I can't de-equip items. If I have a spellbook out, I can attempt to cast a spell (I play warlock) and my hand does the little animation but no spell effect happens.

I'm playing duos with a friend, and when I move my mouse, he says I move accordingly. When I press a button on my keyboard he tells me exactly when I do and the proper direction. During this time my game is still "lagging" on my end, but it appears to only be client side, as I'm moving and doing things on his end.

Rubber banding has been an issue and thats not from internet. Only select parts of the map cause rubber banding too, you can walk along an edge of where the rubber banding begins and ends. Seems like some internal code issue on the server side.

Its a balance thing in the past when the market was only this awful diablo style thing a 100 gold ante was enough to keep HR this high risk thing
Then it stayed like that but because of inflation people just ignored it and ran naked druids to steal other people's kills
However like two patches ago they removed the ante and instead restricted HR to 225 GS to stop people from going in naked and to force them to atleast spend some money on filler weapons all the while not hurting actual legit players who run gear and have HR for free now
Bottom line is HR is and should be restricted because of the loot that it spawns

because i genuinely really enjoy the matchmaking system, its a fun new way to play the game but i feel that something is seriously off when i've got 2 lvl 10s on my team that spend 10 minutes slow looting a tile in goblin cave while there's a 3 man in matching lizard skins and names running through every tile looking for pvp.
i genuinely don't care about the disadvantage of playing with timmies but it's almost impossible to play around when your enemies are coordinated 3mans sitting in a discord call.

i think what he means is a certain hitbox issues with mobs, if certain mobs are completely wedged up against a door and you're close enough to be melee targeted they'll swing at the door and their weapon hitbox will swing past the door hitbox and hit you behind the door instead, this commonly happens with death beetles for an example.

you'll get more options from the squire as you do quests for the different merchants, leather merchant will give u leather options in squire, weapon merchant more weapon options, upgrades from grey to white weapons etc.
pretty sure u can get magic prot potions aswell if you do alchemist quests

Basically they kinda forgot about mag prot pots for a while and they were literally unobtainium since they were only offered via quests
Since they included them in the loot pool I imagine they will realise they should be a squire item as well

Nah it will just be a different flavor of wiz so you will likely see most of em in trios
However it might be a bit tankier than wiz because in d&d one subclass has a lot of survivability skills and there are only 2 subclasses
