they brought the servers down very early in preparation for this so the assumption is it should be up when they announce whatever theyre announcing at the event. If you havent played in a year, the whole game is majorly changed tbh and it will be even moreso in a few hours. Ice map with ice dragon boss. New class druid (maybe probably?), rebalance to gear, a ton of QOL additions to make gearing easier, shared stash space. The list goes on like crazy

this is the right time to come back if they are to be believed lol, and i want to believe. second level to ice caves, druid class, tones of changes to existing levels, class tune up, gear flattening (gear matters less skill more, still gear does matter lol,) arena, new equipment, I think they are adding backpacks and quivers, flat health increase to lengthen fights, HR has been made harder, goblin loot recovers system, some great changes to the inventory system and stashes, limited F2P for getting friends into it maybe, even the rumored fishing. lots of good potential on the horizon, long as it isn't like last season...

Maintenance should be done some time today. Some think they will have it done by the gamefest thing but they really didnt indicate how long it would take other than “much longer than all previous updates”, and they have had up to 9 hour updates in the past so id say 12 hours plus from when it started

They’re waiting for their announcement on sgf for releasing the season content and patch notes. This heavily implies to me that their goal is to get it up at or shortly after SGF. BUT obviously every patch they’ve done in the past month has said extreme delays, the goal is clearly tonight (eastern) though I do expect they’ll run into problems which is why they didn’t say a time specifically
