This all depends on how you like to play warlock, I'm currently experimenting with Blood Pact (a.k.a. Demon form) as I find myself getting rushed quite a bit when looting the gold hoards, so now when I get rushed I put on my bloodstained blade and go to town on them. I'm not building move speed, just damage and armor rating.

I'm not running plate atm because I have the feeling they lowered the base spellcasting speed of warlock and I cannot seem to get good casting speed with the Demon Armor perk. I just stack heaps of armor rating and physical damage reduction.

No I do not bother, I want to be able to change to demon and back whenever I want to. But the +10 All attributes is really strong. I'm running the following perks right now, Vapirism, Shadow Touch, Dark Reflection and Anti-Magic.

No but it does stack with the E ability in demon form and scales with health pots. I do not play warlock without Vapirism regardless of the build (personal preference). No Torture Mastery either unless I run Magical Healing Warlock. Without Torture Mastery your spells are really cheap which I like a lot.

Fun challenge for Warlocks, try playing an entire game while in Demon form. Did this yesterday to practice the demon form and I had a lot of fun. Quick tip; Centipedes are your best friends.

soul collector into demon form allongside caster build is a solid choice ive been running, they push or you see an opening and you just go to town as demon form but its scary and you might just esplode otherwize pure caster with phantomise flamewalker allongside some defensive dark reflect and soul collector is good

Day 4 of begging for map rotation

Some Warlock tech that I've not seen being used by anyone but myself (probably because it isn't that good). If you run Blood Pact and bring Hydra you can heal of your Hydra, will net you about 30 HP, given that you can hit the Hydra 4 times, will require some Dexterity. Bit like a rangers cookie all be it much slower.

Edit: and bring Vampirism.

turn your headphones up ig but also try to be more central of the zone and just learn the spawn locations, or at least some of them over time. You can also just learn the static exit locations and rush those everytime, you can just hold down that area and wait for the gate for a free exit. OH ALSO, stay high and then that way you can drop down if no portals spawn up top, rather than going from down up. One more thing, dont wait till last zone to start searching for them, you need to claim an exit even if you want to loot more

Map rotation caused empty lobbies. Thats inarguable. The devs tried to fix empty lobbies because of the split playerbase and now map rotation is gone. The only reason the player base is so split and we dont have map choice is because of the additonal map lobbies required for solo, duo, and trio mode. Since solo mode was never the intended direction of the game, it should be removed entirely so duo and trio lobbies could always be full and players could select to participate on the map they desired too.

Duos is widely considered, and for good reason, the most balanced of the game modes since it doesnt allow the buff ball meta but does allow an endless array of viable team comps

The problem I have in goblin cave, when you’re fighting someone, there will almost always be a second or even a third player coming right at you. It’s pretty hard for a cleric or wizard to gain spells cause you need to campfire

Hoping they eventually introduce what Tarkov has where any items in your stash/inventory that a quest needs get a little marker on them so it's obvious it'll help an active quest.

With no gear it's going to be pretty tough regening. You need some +Magic Healing to really get get use out of it.

If you have no gear I'd recommend against Torture Mastery, if you want to heal, bring the Hydra summon and Life Drain spells. Then just place your Hydra down and use Life Drain to steal the life from the Hydra.

Edit: if you are at a sufficient level, you should also bring the Vapirism perk as it will boost the healing received by 20%.

The cyclops fight has 3 phases, each phase ends with the rock fall part. In each phase, half way through it he will do the eye attack. If you stay close you should be able to dodge it.

The ore spawns are randomized, just keep looking. If you find an Iron Ore spawn, next game that can be Cobalt.

You are probably ahead of the AP curve and you are getting matched with people of similar rank. Give it a week or so and there will be more people with the same rank, or even just after the weekend depending on your rank.
