i actually agree with all your points except one. Why do you need to bring gear into normals? You can easily take down most mobs in that area with whites and the greens/blues you find in the 3 tier system ruins-crypts-inferno. I think it was fun to gear up in normals also and DESTROY the mobs. It was a nice feeling of gear feeling stronger, but the issue is by YOU wanting not to be forced to do somethign your forcing MORE players to have to contend with gear vs greys. So they did it to favor the majority of people. It was VERY rough being new or having low gear and finding ruby lobsters swarming the dungeon. You really want to go back to that? its a lesser evil

The year is 2025, I’m the last surviving non-multiclassed warlock. I barely survived the windlass barbs on my way to second ruins. As soon as I entered the lobby, my ears were blasted with the sound of PDR/MDR fighters shouting. Thankfully, my 3 second invis pot was enough to dodge them. Just when I thought I was in the clear, the (what I can only assume to be) wizard teaming with the fighter turns around and casts arcane lock on the door. Oh fk. His staff is set ablaze with ignite and glows with the characteristic crimson of blow of corruption. He’s on me in an instant. With no options left, I go for the parry—and succeed. But as my riposte hits him in the head, I realize I never threw my torch, and his dark reflection instakills me. Rip my 2 leather caps.

I've seen it happen in duos and trios too, though less frequent. At the end of the day I think just having 1-2 full-time staff to address this eventually would fix it. In a bought game people will not just come back and make more accounts to cheat once they are warned or banned. I'm sure it would not be too hard to pull death cams from reports and review them for obvious teaming.

Combining abilities you used to have to use separately is definitely a buff to the class. Just not a major one, shadow runner and ambush being combined is pretty good and that combined with not needing to throw away a perk slot to use crossbow is pretty good to. Just being realistic. @shell ginkgo variety in shops comes when you complete the quests for the vendors the quests for the armor and weapon venders are unlocked when you complete the quests for the other vendors and the map changes may not be for everyone but it promotes pvp witch is the entire point of the game. if instead of complaining in the discord you actually played the game you might have a bit more fun.

You can search for a variety of items on the marketplace by name/rarity/attribute etc to get a general idea of what their value and stat range is
In general some desirable stats to look for right now include: All Attributes, Move Speed (Agility), Damage (Strength), Luck

Altho some classes might prefer specific niche stats like Spellcasters wanting Knowledge/Magic Damage

I hate level aggro on Ice caverns, like in goblin caves goblins stays below 1-2 levels, while on Ice caverns the skeletons and cobolds rise and follow even when you are 2-3 levels above for no reason, also noticed mobs glowing like crazy if warlock kills them with Flame Walker, also Ice caverns is the only one where you get spawned right next to Skeleton champion

Not at all. Assuming equal gear, warlock vs cleric, bard, or a barb with high MS and iron will is a close match more often than not assuming equal gear. Warlock also gets shut down by the only viable rogue skill, cutthroat.

Incorrect, the only thing giving +all last wipe that made any substantial difference was the golden cloak, which wasn’t really a big deal until a month or two into wipe when everyone had them. What we are about to see is a return to buffball due to all the stat and pdr/mdr increases. Give it a week or two and you’ll understand exactly why buffball almost killed this game

seeing people with close to bis gear (multiple +all pieces and 160+ hp) a couple days into the wipe is crazy

the gear gap is a lot wider between middle gear and bis thanks to making rng rolls stronger, and a canyon between naked and gear.

I believe that the only gap that is closed thanks to that is the gap between BIS craftable gear, so high-end PVP is more balanced, but it actually widens the gap between general population, lower gear deciles and BIS gear deciles. You will easily see that in the market demand and item prices. My prediction is that we will reach end-season state way sooner thanks to that, which will negatively impact playercount unless Ironmace sustains it with updates and new content sheaningans. 😄

Yeah you're only shot is to landmine ambush and hit with cutthroat early. You also need a kit that will let you finish in a single combo after ambush or you'll die. Rogue matchup against pretty much any class is an uphill battle rn. The class is not in a good place.

Does anyone feel like the maps we pvp in are simply too small? I know that pvp is suppose to exists but it seems as if where able to hear bombs being dropped in a map the size of, well yes lets just say its pretty small. It's rough to progress in GC solo now. Day 1-2 wasn't terrible because nobody had perks or much gear. Now, they are all 15+. If you make a new character, going into GC is rough.

This is a symptom of the bad design.

GC is essentially arena mode. If you put a bunch of people that don't want arena mode with a few who do, they end up teaming.

Seeing one person dominate a solo lobby with good gear at this point in wipe is nothing new. People complaining about +all and don't get me wrong it is an issue but there are wider steps that could be taken to slow the pace and accommodate new players. Why not randomized map tiles, ensure every tile has a sub boss. Force players to dungeon crawl more and by default you alleviate a lot of these issues. Gear is disparity will always be present in this game, let's be honest this is why we play it too, we all want to be that player, we need to more vocal about bigger changes vs just whining about the next hot topic

Only way to do what you’re talking about is say a buff is coming for the war hammer. So you buy a bunch and post buff the demand will raise the price and you’ll profit.

Right, and I love that. There are strategies against all classes. I bring a bow on my fighter solely because I cant deal with rangers/mages who are skilled easily with just a crossbow. There are things you can do to increase odds against all classes.

Hello, yesterday I saw someone ask about getting multiple darkness shards from a single kill. This happened to me earlier, I was fighting a mummy and got hit but my next swing killed the mummy. So maybe my dark reflection had something to do with it?

Also found out how to dodge the changed Cyclops eye attack, stay super close and then circling around him as if you were on a roundabout. Don't look back half way through the attack, even standing behind the cyclops and facing him will get you stuck. Hope this helps someone.

Edit: I'm going around the Cyclops counter clockwise.

Just fought the Cyclops again and got hit by the eye attack and got hit by the stomp but lived, twice actually in one fight. For those interested I have 36% PDR and about 140 Health. Was at 10-20 HP after the stomp. Straight up tanked it.

Just realized I wasn't at 36%, my base PDR was 36% but I transformed with demon form, so add another 50 armor to it. Transforming to take the damage was a panic reaction but it worked.

Getting rid of perk bloat and making them be completely silent as long as you want is pretty huge. Rouge should never be able to win a head on fight against someone in plate, but I do think they need to be buffed more. Over all, they are way better then before tbh
