launcher reached 68% downloaded and reset back to 40%, so i left it and it reset back to 40% again. my download speed is 120mbps and upload is 14 mbps. i have been downloading 12gb game for hours and hours.... i thought ok ill reboot pc.. had 2gb left to go i rebooted pc and started downloading again and it now needs another 10.21gb and its taking hours per gb.... can someone please guide me here. im also in the uk.... i have never had such issues with downloading a game before.

Warlocks get scared close in that like to sit at mid range. Get in close and then keep blasting them with holy strike. Blocking their boc is huge. Shim for their heads in mellee as most are not wearing armor/head shot reduction But over all, yes, warlock is over tuned on healing. Warlock should heal from kills not damage. That way it is dynamic but not directly combat oriented

I mean, or you can try to actually play around it instead of just yelling op. At the end of the day warlock is still at least partially a caster so it's an all in perk. If we want to call it op why aren't we calling smite and judgement op? Smite does the same thing but lasts for the entire 7 seconds. Judgement does more damage than boc and also slows you and casts in literally less than half a second

Welcome to Dark and Darker. Expect weird things while it's in early access.
The top "fix" for most things regarding the launcher, is to use a VPN. Though, sometimes the launcher and website go completely down, and you can't even log in. The launcher will tell you that you don't own a copy of the game, and need to buy it. Don't panic when you see that, it's just a sign that the web services are currently down. It'll fix itself in time.

here's my biggest issue with people saying boc is op. it does maybe slightly more comparable damage than most other weapon buff skills. but its also 1 hit, its limited, and its on a caster who only has access to mostly slow weapons. the only time its one shotting if its a headshot, and maybe its a hot take, but you kind of deserve to be one shot if you're letting casters headshot you with weapons

yes but in tight spot's it isn't the play is it? you can use phantomize for both aggresive or defensive which is pretty good in my opinion, in team plays you can just get to enemy ranger or wizard really easy and literally one shot with BoC and halberd/longsword/zweihander even falchion

Nice thing is, you can drag and drop smaller bags onto the troll pelt bag, to quickly move coins around.

If the trap is activated it hits you even in phantomize. The thing is, that "massive" burst damage, is a)easily negated by a shield b)can be spaced. A barb can just tank a few hits, go to melee and do even more damage. That is why best warlocks are running spells and phantomize almost everytime. Especially since there is a case that if you go running to a ranger while phantomize he just close a door, something you can't do with a barb.

yes but you can still go through if the trap isn't activated, doors isn't a problem there is times that you can push and can't push if it is a long corridor with no door or broken doors you can just push them easily, i know the fact that BoC can be easily negated by shield that's why i usually go for rangers when you put the pressure on them and if you have decent teammates it will work. For anyone confused about crystal sword warlocks dabbing on you, you can reset the attack animation of the crystal sword by clicking your right-mouse button right after the thrust lands. Between BoC and this animation reset, you can absolutely annihilate anything in melee. Go do troll with it and see how fast you kill it

first is to do no gear runs to learn the PVE AI and combat, then ungeared or low gear runs to loearn PVP, and then comit to primarily good gear(not just color but added stats as well) to play the game after you learn it

yeah 1v1 is a bit of a stat check, but if you're running teams, you just need to learn more about your class and the game. can easily kill geared players as long as they're not some doom stack buff stacking steam rolling lobbies

They have to be right next to you to zap you, you can kill them in any 2 attacks of your own weapons. Wizards are also a counter to fighters in this game because you cant effectively build any resistance to their damage. Also, you are playing GC solo or something where you either get grossly countered or you counter. All-in-all, wizards are not imbalanced in the slightest. Even in the best gear any ranged weapons stop them in their tracks.

I do think it's a bad comparison when people try to compare the EA test population to the current game. YESS 100% CROSSBOWS ARE VERY DETRIMENTAL TO THIS GAME, HIGH RANGED DAMAGE IS UNHEALTHY FOR THIS TYPE OF CLOSE QUARTERS/ SLOW FIGHTING. Every class has some way to deal ranged damage without crossbows, usually in small amounts that aren't immediate high priority to recover from that the health economy is not made for. Taking a surg kit in the middle of battle will get you killed and only taking a high tier pot plus bandage would recover from a high damage ranged attack. The pace of the game along with the health system being slow, is not made for high ranged damage.

Ranger has a -11% phys power bonus at base. Fighter starts with 0. The only generic power perk ranger has is only 5%, which helps but fighter still stays ahead in damage for a good while. You could argue faster fire rate increases damage, but in direct comparison fighter literally out damages a ranger unless you use the headshot perk and even then it's only headshots

If you're bad at the game and cant efficiently utilize your classes capabilities you lose. Rangers are supposed to inherenetly counter classes that are squishy and they are effictive at doing that at range. equal gear ranger vs fighter both have a chance of winning. as a bard player you could use silence and stop the enemy ranger from hitting you while you close the gap and you can utilize your other songs to effectively reduce his damage, speed and it will win you the fight. A class is not OP because it has a gimmick just like EVERY OTHER CLASS DOES. Just accept that on occasion YOU LOSE and sometimes YOU WIN. In the end the better player goes on top and thats that

I believe a few changes can be made but ranger is in a very good spot imo currently. I play Barbarian and occasionally Wizard and its always 50/50 on who wins. Using your STR skill on barb to gain health while the ranger wastes time shooting closes the distance and can sometimes win you the fight. Your axes slow them down and if you forget to use it then too bad you die and you lose your gear. As a wizard efficiently using your invis and haste to close the gap and then using Fireball/Zap/Ice Bolt to abuse the close range while they retreat is a great combo. The ranger can always win these engagements by just using hard cover or moving away with their high movespeed. As a barb a ranger just hitting me slows me down a lot and as a wizard arrows do a LOT of damage if placed correctly. Its completely up to the player to use everything at their disposal to win a fight. Not all engagements are balanced because someone may have better/worse gear but in the end skill and mastery of a class reigns supreme above any amount of gear.

Rangers focused on crossbow can obtain about 10% physical power, reload 50% faster and move faster, and i'm not even including the headshot perk. That pretty much overcomes the -11% penalty of them and honestly they can out dps a fighter in range combat any time of day. Talking about default damage is meaningless unless both land a headshot and is still meaningless if both use a grey crossbow since neither will die. If geared the odds will increase for the ranger. @versed pawn So what you are telling me the counter for ranger is close combat? Who would have known... And are you telling me an armored class is the counter to the assassin class? Who would have thought? And buddy... Even with sprint a fighter can't chase a rogue. They just can't, i recommend you to play fighter and see how you fare.

That's what i've been saying. The argument i'm presenting is about ranger out dpsing a fighter in range combat and as i said before the only reason a fighter CAN (not that they will) in ranged combat is because of the armor not because of the damage and even then a smart fighter won't W towards a ranger without taking their time. @rapid vapor We both know 2 out of the 3 perks mentioned are used on almost every ranger, the third is optional only if they want to go for crossbows (the counter for fighter). What ranger want is to have no counter on this game as if it wasn't enough.

Make one lobby with grey/white only items. You can only find greens/blues/purples as a maximum rarity (purple insanely rare) in this dungeon and you cannot bring in anything, you spawn and can find things, that is all.

@uneven ermine it could just be them trying to be careful with updating their server architecture too, as much as people will dislike to hear it, slow is better, they've already had abit of trouble with rushing out updates, doing server upgrades in a rushed manner too would be terrible for them.
