Oh...well, from my point of view...a person who doesn't care about rankings or numbers or grinding AP for that demigod color so I can get that nifty new skin...it's pretty nice being able to take the dungeon of my choice, Normal or HR, with the normal lewt tables, which will be new and fresh and load up in 6 seconds every time...free of red gate campers and griefers, free of landmine rogues, free of sweat beards chasing people down across the entire dungeon...being able to pit myself in a zero to hero HR in squire gear or just a torch and some heals...knowing the chance of being messed with by another player is like....1 or 2%, maybe. So for me...it's better. If you enjoy pvp, you won't enjoy the Test, if all those skins and stuff are important to you, you won't enjoy the Test. It's personal preference really.
I know how you feel. I'm fine with hack and slash too. No pvp needed. So the test will be fun. But I want the Demagod reward lol.
I ground out that demigod a few seasons back. Afterwards, it felt...not amazing as the effort I put into it. lol There's a discord channel with a few people on it who do bosses and team up for a fun dungeon crawl. Therer's people there...I would say 30 on average, Sometimes as high as 50 or more, sometimes only a few people. You could play for hours and probably never run into anyone. lol
Maybe performing a double jump should cancel any utility and attack animations for the sake of balance?
Being able to perform the entire utility animation across two jumps without losing any movement speed is insane.

Playing this game for a year and all I see is decline so decided to write my ideas maybe anyone out there reading this. Probably won't play until they fix those problems if they ever going to
my game suggestions:
- Problem: players camp red and if they make a single mistake they just disappear, they don't get punished. they just escape the fight and it's crazy annoying. Fix: add a lever that opens a gate for 3sec and auto closes.
- Problem: boss camping. most bosses have some mechanics that are perfect timing to intervene by other players. since they are at the door camping, they don't risk anything and just hold the door. no risk for them, crazy risk and annoyance for anyone doing the boss. Fix: make players unable to leave boss arena once they started the boss fight. If someone comes inside during the fight they must be unable to leave arena the way it is now. It's either should be gate with a lever that takes time to unlock like my first suggestion or some other mechanic, preferably player intervene the boss fight to be completely unable to leave the arena. That way they have to commit if they want to ruin the boss fight for others and not just triple jump out of the arena as druid.
- Problem: Druid is out of control, it's form change mechanic is completely blatantly overpowered and annoying to the point that I'm pretty sure most players leaving the game due to it alone. There is hundreds of ways to fix it, no reason for my own opinion on this topic.

anyone else having a issue where it kicks you out of the game when only fighting lich? it happens to me every time, it says a error occurred and sends me back to the lobby with all of my gear. no issues with banshee, spec, warlord or gk only lich.

The game is dead. They announced a new season in January, so everyone held out hope for a whole month until January. After 8 days, they started announcing it at the end of January, treating the players like monkeys. How can they create a masterpiece that could be remembered for generations but lack the brains to develop it? On the outside, the game looks like a giant, incredibly beautiful robot, but inside it's hollow.

Make ruins the first floor for every dungeon, keep ice map, maelstrom and goblin caves queues up, but make it so there are red statics that can take you to every map from ruins. A watery cave entrance for goblin caves, a forest module with a layer of snow heading to the ice caves along with stairs leading to the crypts, add a dock with a boat that takes you to the water map. Then if rotating maps/ random maps come back, you still can get to the map you want 2/4 times.

Revert the change to allow water map on squire playlist. Performs the worst by far. Have to curate a specific spell list and potions to actually enjoy the map. Just unfun. Most of the time loading into water map teammates immediately kill each other.

If you lean toward dungeon crawling in normal modeāwhich I hope will be more prominent in season 8 because of the 7x7 mapsāyou could try changing adventure mode into a random map mode. This way, it becomes a place to learn the basics rather than a spot to farm quests or money. (Some of the harder quests in normal mode feel like a āstand stillā difficulty in PvE.)
btw that change you made to HR maps mid season kinda bad. everyone was coping that players don't play the game because HR is random map. it was all BS. this change didn't made a dent in active players in steam chart.

I played SDFās vision and hated it, solos should not be forced to 1v3 (or be able to)
Somehow I never quit during that time, I felt like I had to carry the solo demon torch š
They need to start over like I stated before many many many times trio balance is not a good form of balance in a game that is predominantly solo players
And has many disparities in trio comps where you end up only seeing one type of comp healers buff balling
So then you get a game where ranger rogue and bard can not inflict enough DMG against a cleric barb fighter to potentially full kill any of them

Wizard is the only counter to heals because of his bs anti heal where he has a hit scan explosion and a fireball AOE that is very hard to miss

yeah no one runs it anymore cuz healers arent op anymore everyone has less health less dr and does more damage
So it's a me issue when my entire team has say for example in a simulated dungeon experience aka arena 700 DMG per person me on ranger having 1.6k DMG it is my team 1 win vs the other team with 2 wins they have significantly less DMG done but the heals total 2k is this my fault because I'm not playing wizard or is it a balance issue or a skill issue because my quick shot double headshot with longbow does not full kill the 50pdr heal machine
2 heals he's either half hp again or a little over half and his team starts just body blocking so he can sanctuary and they all don't die even when we focus him all together or focus one specific person
Sure being able to out heal a 1v1 is more understandable but 3 entire people unloading spells and arrows at you meaning literally nothing because it does half the DMG it should do essentially is wild unless you happen to be a wizard with 6 fireballs and some explosions

You can build to scale your clerics heals on top of what you are rocking if you have extra gem slots and crafted gear permits that
building magic healing does not make your cleric heal more only the clerics magic healing makes him heal more
The magical healing scales what ever heals hit you wym ( after further investigation and a trip to pve mode it appears it was placebo and my clerics heals are just high AF in his kit )

I think every class should have access to fast clear weapon. But what about Warlock? he has also access to halberd and bardiche without need of any perks. Should he be given a polearm mastery perk to allow usage of such weapons? yes. but wasting perk slot to play with 2 more weapons without any buffs in it wouldn't be good. maybe access to more weapons should be given in upcoming(season9/10) training system?

As an aspiring game developer, if we desire DK class being an undead class, they take more damage to divine magic, they take more damage to divine magic, they cannot be ressurected by Altar of Sacrifice
New perks:
-Ressurection of Darkness(1): After death, the unholy knight ressurects to fight again with 50%HP with 10% magical and physical damage reduction for 25 seconds. (stackable by camping)
Shadow Touch renamed to Chaos Strike - Deals 5 true/physical damage with a melee weapon
Antimagic: Gain 25% damage reduction against all magical spells(even dark and evil damage) and lowers their duration by 25%, but amplifies divine damage intake by 25%
Soul Collector, instead of gaining 33% dark power bonus from each it kills, it now gains 33% of DK's Health and an Eldritch Shield that reduces 33% Physical and Magical Damage Reduction(So basically a superior Moral Boost)
Aura of Corruption:While active, reflect 15 Dark Dark Magical Base Damage (75% Scaling) to the melee attacker and reduces their HP regeneration, physical and magical damage by 15% for 8 seconds.
Active Spells:
Soul-Shattering Blow: DK's next attack deals 15(1.5) true dark magic and deals 15 dps to the enemy target and reduces the targetās physical power and magical power by 25% for 5 seconds. for 8 seconds.

There are many advantages and disadvantages to every class. So while it might "seem" unbalanced to you, doesn't mean that it IS unbalanced. Maybe they could make all the classes exactly the same except for their skins?? lol

In Arena mode, introduce a separate, Arena-only gear system that players can freely customize. This gear would:

Never carry over into dungeon gameplay or affect the economy

For many casual players, the reality is that they will never experience what it feels like to run their ādream build.ā The risk of losing expensive gear, combined with the massive gold/time investment required (often hundreds of thousands of gold per character), creates a barrier that most casual players simply wonāt cross.
By allowing freeform Arena gear, players could:

Druid will more than likely see a rework that will narrow its specialties and make them choices rather than all being present all at once. It'll feel like druid is gone, but druid will just be different
I.E If the druid can do panther, bear, and chicken, it gets no healing
but those forms would get stronger of course so you'd need to contend with that

if they make it to where you can have 2 shapeshift forms base. and then have to use shapeshift mastery to get an extra 1. it'll help a little bit.
A class shouldn't have access to panther and bear at same time, you can't just be rogue or barb in middle of fight

eh, i think both is fine. but having chicken panther mobilty and everything else isnt. so 3 shapeshifts max. should be what druid is. you'll have to pick wisely.
thorns should also not be a druid perk. it just doesnt align with the class. it should be a spell not a passive thing

Here's a way to play Dark n Darker casually when you have little time. It's a really good idea.
Its good and bad imo, good for casuals to actually be able to fight on equal terms so more of them will play most likely, but it is also kind of a choke on content because you dont have to grind the gear first. Which in itself is kinda fun to do (at least the first time around).
They should also either pick SSF or no SSF, the way it was now was just auction house with extra steps to craft gear for bis, which was not really SSF. Maybe crafted gear should only be crafted by ācharā if all the materials are ālootedā status, or crafted gear shouldnt be allowed in the arena. Gotta pick one or the other imo
Bro if these guys announce a "Lava Map" I'm finally done for good I hope they understand we don't need more maps we need the ones we already have to improve
PvP currency like WoW. Winning arenas earns a currency. Your capped at earning a certain amount per week. Gear bought with the currency is minted. Hitting 2200 unlocks a varied gear set with no more than 2.5% stat bonus total.
@dawn grotto Hopefully, the game development team won't make the same mistake as with the Sea of āāShit map launch. Creating a new map means adding more maps but lacking players, which will only lead to even fewer players if it's a separate map. Instead, let all current maps connect to the new map, because generally, any area leads underground to volcanic lava, and the game's story will be completely connected. Players from all maps, upon descending through the red gate, will converge on one map, solving the player shortage problem. For example, the Hell map has too few players, so the Ruin map will have four layouts. Upon descending from Hell to the red gate, players will be rewarded by having all their inventory items sent directly to the Expressman NPC, and then a final battle will take place on the Lava map, gathering all players from all maps.
Straight up please buff everyone so that everyone can 1v3 if they are good enough so I don't have to accept that I am dead when I am full hp and my team mates get double shot by a crossbow and just fall over so I'm stuck alone to get touched in non consensual ways

Please take notes from dungeonborne that game has some quality of life and balance changes this game desperately needs like the combat aka attacking and blocking / parrying was perfect and not jank like this game if you utilize the mistakes made from competitors you can improve your product to the point where it's more desirable than any game that will become available in the future @dawn grotto @formal kestrel if you can find a way to get sdf to listen to you and rebuild the combat to where it feels smooth and using a longsword does not require you to pray you have better internet than who you are fighting this will be a step forward in a good direction after that just like before look at each class just as kits and 1v1 potential against every class making sure they have a counter and by counter I mean a class that should be a tough fight but not a impossible one that is what a counter is when every class can have that middle ground and feel good in most scenarios then you focus on the gear and stats that come with the gear like bows and crossbows having armor pen or books and staffs having magic pen what do they actually need to be viable is a good start to look at when it comes to damage numbers and gear balance

As an active Dark and Darker player on the S/A server, I would like to formally register my dissatisfaction with the recent direction of the Arena. What could have been a strong competitive and engagement-focused feature has been implemented in a reversed and ultimately harmful way. In its current state, the Arena feels detrimental to the game and conveys that the test server has lost its purpose, making it difficult to justify investing time in this mode.
The constant and abrupt changes to the Arenaās rulesetāfirst unlimited Arena access, then restrictions to crafted items only, and finally no restrictions at allācreate the impression that players are being used as test subjects without a clear vision or consistent communication. I sincerely regret this outcome, especially because I actively supported and advocated for this mode on the S/A server, only to feel disappointed by what it has become.
In contrast, the drop rate of named items in HR appears to have increased significantly. Without any patch notes or official communication, I personally obtained five named items in very few matches over the last 72 hours, including two from the same boss. The lack of transparency around such a significant change only reinforces the feeling of improvisation and imbalance.
This complaint is made out of concern, not disregard. The current vision for the Arena feels unclear and misaligned with the experience many players hoped to build. I genuinely hope this feedback is taken seriously, for the sake of the project and the community that continues to support it.

As you already understand, Slayer will not be at this event. Nor will there be any data collection for him. He is still unfinished in many aspects. There is no artifact in the left hand, no blocking. There are no melee mechanics that could save your life from van-shot death machines. There is no crafting of necessary items, weapons, and armor. I hope you will pay attention to these aspects.

Why would you make it so that you lose all your gear in arena? This will decrease participation and there is already a low number of players in arena.
What could have been a fun artifact arena weekend is now turned into a gear check where no one stands to gain. Might as well run my artifacts in the dungeon to at least have a chance at getting someone else's gear while risking hundred of hours worth of gear.
The fighter: It has a natural ability to use a Crossbow, but does not have any Perks to enhance the ability.
Let's add 4 more perks to the Fighter, there is space on the character page for them.

Hmm, that is an idea. Perhaps have conditions on taking the new perks. Like if you take the Crossbow Mastery perk, you can not take the Weapon Mastery Perk. I like it! No Gain without Pain!

Could be a that you have a slow computer, until I got an upgraded computer with a 4070, I found the game difficult and left for a year. After a new computer and gave it a new try, I find the game very easy, and I hadn't been very good at it.
My main is a fighter, I don't find it difficult at all. You have to do like everyone else, carry 5-6 stacks of heal pots and bandages. Though I hardly need that many these days.
I run a Recurve Bow and Viking Sword and Lantern Shield. I used to run the Longsword, but just find the shield much more useful, and the counter attacking blades come in handy. If you are bossing, break out the Longsword for it's reach. You could go spear also, very good weapon with blocking ability and long reach.

Sword and Board vs. Slayer. The Slayer won, it was a dance of mystifying elegance. He knew exactly where to be to avoid blows, and to dish them out. Slayer takes a lot of skill, nothing more to it.
I don't dispute that skill is important. But I long ago outgrew the naive belief that skill is everything.

As this season comes to a close, it is very telling how much more enjoyable the game is with better gear. With better gear you can actually get further in the game in terms of rarer monsters and their loot.
Without really good gear, most players get nowhere.
It shouldn't be that way, progress in a game should be based upon your skills accumulated over time as you play - experience.
I suggest DaD start moving towards a more expansive experience and skill point system, as Dungeons and Dragons is meant to be played.
Otherwise, one can see players leaving at the start of a new season, as they wait for gear to be more plentiful and less costly.
Also, levels of gear should be restricted to character levels. New characters should not be able to fit high end gear. It's just cheating, and the players know it.
Seeing level 15 characters in full unique sets shouldn't be allowed to happen.
Well, I'm more interested in improving my close combat skills than my ranged combat skills. A fighter, a slayer, for example, should be a terrifying close combat fighter, and should not lose to an archer in close combat. Tell me, who among you is afraid of a slayer right now? because you guys love farming 24/7 and bossing so much how about we remove every single module from the game and we leave just bosses to farm!
7x7 map with just boss rooms! that will be great change!
considering the devs usual out of touch updates season 8 will contain:
- New form for Druid, Boar form, can charge very fast across a module, deals damage and stuns on impact.
- Red stair added to every module.
oh yeah maybe not boar form, monkey form, can climb walls and roof swinging by the arms, travels 1.5x faster than normal
throws bananas that if walked on makes enemies slip and fall, stuns for 5 seconds and 10 second -50% slow afterwards.
Lowkey, a boar form where you can only charge, and charging lasts a whole minute and you can't stop it would be hilarious

- Mob Aggression switch need to be fixed. the npc will do a attack mid combo and switch while in animation. you can reproduce this when anyone more then one attacks 1 mob.
- Circle should never close on any modules within the first 5 mins especially boss rooms
This should help our unexperienced players a better replayable experience when losing or dying to pve mobs / boss or doing boss with pvp kits equiped.

Not really. I like the PvE side, but the only difference should be that one has PvP and one does not. The loot should be the same, you should be able to loot corpses, and zero goblin recovery. Loot is laying around everywhere, goblin recovery is ridiculous.

Easier to remove Adventure mode and remake it to PvE mode. Same as regular only without the pvp. I would do it for science if nothing else. I mean, I'm super curious about which lobbies would be used most often.

But realize that nothing is done like that when you actually start the job. Or getting to accustom to a game mode. The game is meant to be difficult and mixing pve with live economy is a freebie with 0 gold sink. This game wants no one to be super rich else you will stop playing

Just popping my head back in here after skipping the last update. It doesn't actually look like much of value is or was added. Briefly looked at the water map and tbh my immediate thought was how awful it felt to swim.
Everyone still hate IM? Their seasonal cycle doesn't seem to have meaningfully dropped in player numbers since the last time, but I suppose tomorrow will tell if the peaks reach the water map one.
Conceptually I think an extension to GC makes more sense than a fourth map pool for the water map.
And obviously we don't have the patch notes yet, but I can't help but notice no monk.
I think the best patches in memory were genuinely the ones that added sorc and druid. Those actually felt like they were meaningful additions you could play in a new way with, though obviously to various degrees they needed tuning. (Though when last I was here druid was swinging between being utterly beaten to death by IM or being OP because of some oversight they refused to fix in a straightforward way)

No true damage, a focus on making it feel like points of interest are more of a thing. Parrying gameplay is out of left field though. Very very interesting.

The only thing that stands out to me now is that I still think magic, and particularly wizards, need their overhaul, but that can wait until another season. Obviously all of these changes will need to be sat on and watched.

Another obvious thing that I immediately think of is: This patch might destroy bear druid's core viability. Parrying was a main counter to bear, for fighter, and I suspect that everyone parrying might just make bear's big swings useless without a rework. And I'm guessing bears and panthers can't parry. On top of that, while I'm happy +all is gone, it should be noted that +all disproportionately made druids specifically stronger. Now that it's dropped I'd expect a significant reduction in what they can do. Including making druids that actually hybrid agi-str to get both forms basically impossible.
I know most people have very mixed feelings on druid, though mostly due to panther. Even as someone who mained it, I'd always play a mage and just panic the moment I knew a druid was with me, because I knew I basically didn't have a chance. But honestly I don't want to see it just dumpstered, and hope they keep an eye on its balance.

Bard is gonna be kinda weak into a lot of fights now with all the new weapon block and parries and new skills, kinda hoping they either give some more love to the songs utility wise or even a new item for them to make combat or song playing easier like shield that acts as an instrument or something otherwise I feel like they are kinda under powered unless your cracked or over geared compared to your opponent
Why, when I hold down the right click and left click for a combo (short sword + arming sword), the combo that used to happen no longer happens? You haven't done anything for the slayer, and you've taken away one of the most convenient and fastest combos.

I think overall I like every change so far, but I think that pommel strike on fighter should work with Longsword, just due to historical use of the weapon. However, I do understand if that would have an impact on balance.

So far my only complaint is that I don't think they should've locked the maps behind AP level. It's just annoying. We also artificially have HR gated even more annoyingly than it was. Getting to 20 to access it was already slightly annoying, and now you can't do it without getting pretty deep into the AP levels, certainly far more AP than it would take to get to level 20.
Variance is what makes games fun. Don't make me farm the same map forever when I want to play ice or GC, especially since you released additions to maps.
Shapeshift mastery no longer makes any sense too. If it must be nerfed, so that all druids have a cast time for their transformations, then it should no longer lock you out from spirit magic. It's just not worth running anymore.

-10 ms is a decent chunk but i think its important to consider that dwarf has a significantly smaller hitbox than other races. They are harder to hit by default, especially when crouching and ducking.

@dawn grotto The game should add an equipment resolution mode. Many quests are unobtainable due to high requirements or almost never drop essential items like cockatrice eggs. This would also help solve the problem of having too much equipment at the beginning of a new season and too few chests. Perhaps selling stashes like Path of Exile, which specifically store quest items and gems, would save on stash costs and provide the development team with long-term funding.

Hey, have you guys thought about adding a new map in the future based in ancient history civilizations (like a tomb with a mix of Egyptian/Persian/Mesopotamian/Greek/Roman/etc aesthetic)? I was thinking about that some days ago, something like an Egyptian tomb with "prince of Persia" aesthetic, with monsters and mummies and lots of traps (like the trilogy of The Mummy or the classic Indiana Jones stone ball), maybe a couple new weapons/armor pieces based in ancient history (like a kopesh). It could be like a very ancient lost city buried in the dessert or something, with a sandstorm as the event that makes you die at the end of the clock.
Idk I'm just giving ideas, imo it could have great potential.

Is there really a reason why as a druid I cannot start with a brown-quality spear? Does that break the game over a flanged mace? Of course not. Brown plate doesn't break a squire fighter either.

The game aimed to minimize looting, so it reduced the number of chests and distributed gold and iron chests in random, non-fixed locations, but the gold mining ( gold pile ) areas remained fixed and not limited or randomly distributed. Within a single day, the game was flooded with legendary equipment . Instead of having to kill the boss to access the gold mine containing the gold coin chest, now the entire map focuses on those gold mines because they are fixed and easy to obtain even with Skeleton Champion or Mini-Boss Abomination. Therefore, those gold mines should be removed and replaced with any iron or gold chests

Suggestion: Remove Throw Option from Lanterns and Allow Blocking
Now that every weapon has the ability to block and/or parry, we should have a way to hold a lantern AND block/parry.
This may seem like a small issue on most classes, however for some, like Bard, you cannot carry torches without sacrificing a heal slot or an entire instrument. This used to be solved by carrying a lantern or a lantern shield. Using a lantern shield takes a big penalty on move-speed and now that the rapier can block, I would prefer using a lantern for light, especially since they can have stat rolls.
TLDR: Remove the throwing ability from off-hand lanterns and allow block/parry while holding a lantern.

Not to be rude but reduce Spell cast speed and Action speed is a trash idea. We already have things that reduces action speed. As for cast speed that's basically disarm for casters. The gear your referring to is probably found gear because if you take a look at crafter gear almost all classes can wear higher will.
Just make Disarm a perk that sheaths the target's weapons on a successful riposte hit and give it an internal CD

To answer your MR question all melee classes especially running in plate gear should take more damage from casters. Unfortunately. The devs gave you guys Dark cruises. Fighter is already broken in its pdr state we definitely don't need caster not able to damage this buffoon. I'm currently not home and don't main fighter but if you read the perks or skills there is one that reduces either M.s. and possibly A.S. Casters need their cast spell maybe you want warlock to get nerf which is a biased statement because as a developer you have to see everything as one. If one person gets something then it should affect all. Personally it's game sense to bait the disarm just like cleric judgment.
I don't like how much item drop got buffed. I think it makes players less excited when they get good item. Dopamine that makes them chase better item is removed making them quit game earlier

Maps feel too large right now. The game played best when encounters were frequent and tension was constant. Going back to 4x4, or even testing 3x3, would bring back that tight pacing and player interaction Dark and Darker originally nailed.
Class balance needs to allow success across all classes, not force FoTM picks like Fighter and Barbarian. The Warlock lifesteal changes were solid, but casters still lack the health, movement speed, and damage needed to compete. Gear rarity feels good, but stat rolls need tweaking. Armor rating on weapons feels unintuitive and out of place.
Too many queues are splitting the playerbase. PvE-only modes should be removed. Keep rotating maps instead so players are funneled together. Separate Normal and High Roller, each with their own map rotation, but no parallel queues beyond that.

Let's change the STERLING WEAPON crafting process a bit.

Stats on gear were lowered this wipe. Epic gear would give 5 in a stat, now it's 4. Rare gear was 4, now it's 3. It's kind of whatever on higher end gear with good rolls, but on squire kits this really sucks. For example common (white) riveted gloves would give you 3 STR the wipe before, now it's only 3. Gray (poor) gear only gives you 1 in a stat. It felt really nice to have white gear give you 3 or 2+1 stats, let you actually branch out a little build even in squire. It wasn't OP, it just felt nice to have some stats even in squire, and it was for everyone. It was just better

In one wipe youāve seemingly managed to remove 4 classes out of the game to the point where they are quite literally unplayed, or only viable in teams with gear, to which I mite add even with gear Wizard is by far the least enjoyable to play now. You are unable to get a spell off before any melee classes closes the gap.
It doesnāt take a seasoned developer to grasp the concept. The game is just barb and fighter not dark and darker.
And this doesnāt even begin to scratch the service at the gross negligence seen in squire kits, where unless you are fighting the bottom 10% of players, casters are useless. Warlock isnāt even played as a caster anymore itās just boc and phantomize spam now.
This game had 3 to 4 times the player base in seasons 1-3. Let that sink in
Change PvE Format to a Co-op Campaign
These co-op campaigns would have a start and an end. all the players work together to progress from one module to the next. PvE modules would have one entrance and one exit. The exits to the next module are gated by some objective like killing a boss mob, surviving a wave of mobs, solving some puzzle, etc. Completing the campaign should give some sort of reward based on how many adventure points you get.

The sequence in which you press the buttons is the sequence of the combo. It's always been that way. But no one believes me. specifically pressing and holding the buttons, not just pressing them. The combo has been broken since the start of the season. I reported it in the bug tracker. But with the release of the fixes, my problem was ignored. The combo now looks like 3 left-handed strikes and 1 right-handed strike. Everything is broken... Please, if you don't want to add anything, at least don't break what was there before.
Upon aggroing the boss all doors should lock (and be unbreakable). The only way to out is killing the boss, dying, or invising to reset aggression. This will prevent third parties and allow the boss to be killed while preventing third parties while still instilling a sense of urgency since you can't just walk out the boss room when the fight doesn't go well.

I think whirlwind is pretty close to being balanced, only thing I see that is particularly nasty is it being able to be used in very tight corridors with no downside

Quest requirement quantities should directly corrispond to the amount of spawns available for said enemy/item. For example, the quest "Death Awakens" requires 7 skelly archers, 7 skelly swordman, 7 axeman, and 2 wraiths. Axeman are rare compared to the others, why wouldn't they be set to 4 or something reasonable for an early season quest.
also green treasure should not be this hard to find, i still have no green ceremonial or chalice/golden cup. I would have finished days ago if this was blue treasure...
apparantly those items are missing from the loot table and only drops in locked lions/golden chests (mostly on pve server since theyre green)

My suggestion:
When punishing bad actors be more and more biased based on age.
Example, first major offense from a say 12 year old. Slap on the wrist, educational moment.
First major offense from a 30 year old? Ban. Doubtful that its their first major in their gaming career and at 30 they should know better.
Barbs whirlwind just needs a slight DMG nerf 100% of the weapon DMG is a little bit too much but everyone complaining is not going to help every class grow to be balanced without either buffing all classes to compete with the new advanced in this games combat
So far the skill ceiling has been made perfectly casual and counters are in place for people fighting against each class such as disarm or pommel strike or rogue silence and panther silence to stop barbs whirl wind
What needs more focus now is classes base stats due to the nerf to all gear and how each class interacts with each other to prevent certain comps from being immortal
Shapeshift mastery should also provide a slightly higher spell casting red buff or at minimum a 25% bonus on knowledge stat or something since they have to build it more now
Druids have not been a issue at all this wipe and seems more balanced but could use a slightly higher edge to keep transformation gameplay into the game to a extent
Rogue still needs invis reworked or completely removed because this class can easily attain 50% armor pen with only perks and gear alone not even using its skills like weak point allowing for builds where any class will die to landmine even barbarian if played properly
The addition of either a speed boost or a dash would be a better implementation of a assassin that is quick in and out and potentially able to confirm a kill then escape
WTB the Tavern back as a lobby hangout. You can decorate and upgrade your Inn Room above, players in your lobby can go into your room and check it out. Able to change gear at your room above and practice on the target dummies to see builds. Have mini games, like Chess/checkers, or some sort of Medieval boardgame. Have the ability to duel in a courtyard outside the Tavern. Some drunk boxing would be fun.
The only thing that would bring me back to the game is new playstyles for my beloved Warlock class

Delicious in Darker! Cooking with monster parts. There are so many monster parts that serve little purpose for players to buy them on the auction house, how about adding some cooking to the game? It would be another good use for campfires and monster parts, and obviously provides an array of buffs in return. I enjoy the moments around a camp fire.

Tavern vibes! Re-implementing the tavern in some capacity. Personally, I miss the tavern lobby. It really connected the 2D tavern menus to the 3D dungeon gameplay by being something in between. The tavern is very cozy and I like returning to it between harrowing expeditions. It's a nice hub.
I can see what your saying here making parrys that are done properly have a slightly better feel or increase in value for landing would be very beneficial for everyone while also making this more casual and fun by making it so if anyone that lands a parry causes whoever that hit the blade to gain a action speed penalty when the repost is activated so that you can land your repost with possibility of safely disengaging after it lands for a more fluid combat that seems more tactical and less hold w and left click but also simple to where it's anyone's fight and fun @keen onyx @dawn grotto

first off, I aint gonna run disarm, secondly if I am rogue and wanna attempt silence I would lose 90% of my hp from the first whirlwind hit, thirdly same shit with panther

there is no counter play except kiting it out, I am not risking getting hit with silence, I dont use 1 handers and shield with fighter
If you genuinely believe that you will not improve because when you have tools at your disposal but refuse to use them because you don't want to that's a you problem I play fighter slayer fighter with adrenaline rush and pommel strike and I full kill every barb that I run into every time when they whirl wind

Legit just put strength base stats in blues with armor pen and dex and usually you can get close to 18 armor pen using dagger and then 50 armor pen when stabbing using the perks on top of having additional DMG on everything
wizard has 1 more vigor than rogue, these classes have strong range option while rogue does not
Rogue is literally the highest DPS class in the game
rogue needs to be 6-10 vigor and reduce resourcefulness to 25-21
With TTK in this game u can count DPS only to PvE.
Cuz legit 5 stabs stilleto is basically equal to 1 bardiche hit.

You are fully invisible and not audible when someone is casting a spell or channeling one
You can hear rogue in invis 2 modules away lol. Specially dagger equip is loud as hell
cause you can confidently when you can sneeze two spells on rogue and the class is dead
sometimes even 1 spell can fully kill a rogue
Just disclaimer, I dont cry about rogues. Hide is always problem in games and yes I wish its removed and exchanged for ability wheel.

I don't have clips of it but when arena is out again you can parry spells with dagger it's actually insane the hitbox of dagger parry

This I agree with because ranger has chase and that is kinda just the anti rogue stick and they get to wave it around all willy nilly because ranger is "weak because it has to carry arrows"

Bows need weapon sway and reduction on the armor pen or removal of armor pen and just like 3 true DMG and Lord so help me make it so that holding a drawn bow automatically holsters after 4 seconds of being held at full draw

They had a bug that would give them a double slow when casting with both hands this is to prevent that slow bug it's not like actually busted
how is it fair when sorc does more than half your hp with 1 bolt and can infinitly push and root you from ever getting close
I will say this if any one can play sorc why isn't everyone playing sorc they have to genuinely work for a w and one single mistake and they are dead there is not a lot of saving grace for sorcs

From what I heard from other sorcs it literally just puts you at like barely above your base move speed with hands out and most sorcs only have like 305 move speed and everyone has like a one button press to catch a 305 target
30% of 300 is 90 so they will be cap ms when casting
It should not be a massive deal
330 ms casting is not fair and balanced
There's no way on gods green earth they would allow sorc to get 330 move speed for casting with both hands that don't even make sense

Me too but at the same time I would rather see canceling combos for no riposte instead of riposte and get another damage while riposte or getting damage thru parry/block.
(example yesterday I parried 3 longsword combo, and before I landed 1+stepback riposte Short sword hit, i got hit by another 2 hits from longsword.) - not mentioning that I got 2 dmg thru 2 swings from parried swings from 1st combo start.
