yeah it does seem they have a higher hitbox than their model. maybe thats the change. smaller hitbox/more accurate.

Also remove looting from arena. Make. You win you get 1 reward token, you lose, you get nothing.
Also get some xp for winning, if you don’t have time to loot but still win, you gain nothing from a win. I basically solod all theee rounds in a level 1 barbarian and didn’t get a single level.
Also put evil eye back in for Warlock. Not super super useful but super cool.

Luck should not negatively effect the chance to get useful quest items such as wolf pelts, especially with the religion system locking you into a luck bonus for every character for the whole wipe. Some quest items should increase rarity as to be positively effected by luck OR quest items can gain a flat chance to drop with luck increases as to prevent some quest items from being harder to gather for questing for Blythar followers. Or let me change religions lol.

they should remove warlocks phantomise.
They should allow links or suggestions to other discords about the game and not ban or isolate, it would be a good idea to modify the rule. For example, the Spanish discord for the game, although not official, encourages integration and guides in Spanish. Or also the collectors discord for the market exchange that is well structured. Please do not ban or isolate me for the suggestion since the bot detects the words of other discords when suggesting them, but I think potential is lost by not recommending these other discord channels.

Make it so that if you are running around naked, you take bonus damage. 5% for every slot that you aren’t wearing. Make glass cannons actual glass cannons. Naked warlock problem might be less terrible.

I agree the amount of naked warlocks right now is insane. But you already DO in fact take bonus damage when you are naked. They can get around it though by wearing juuuust enough gear that they lose the damage taken debuff while still having very high MS.
The naked meta used to be much worse; but I do agree it's still dumb af. Also, removing gear in combat is hella stupid. Add a removal time at least that slows you down while you remove gear, the same as equipping gear.
imagine a skill that was only 7 damage instant + some which was ok but suddenly ironamce decided double buff to get to:
15instant+15 damage and gives you 20 health with TM which both scaling with magical power and healing btw

I would love to see a low roller mode that's only PVE with absolutely garbage loot. Anyone going for loot would need to go to normal's or high roller but new players could practice mobs without risk of getting rolled on by players much better than them. It might split the population a little at first but would make it easier to retain new players meaning a healthier population in the long run

So the game currently has a move speed issue but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing or a bad game design choice, movement speed is a fun stat. Going fast feels great in every game, and I think it definitely has a home on this game too. I think the bigger problem that it really shines a light on is how bare bones the combat mechanics are and how few ways there actually are to interact with movement speed. For instance, if my opp is a ranger, I can try to dodge his arrows, look for traps, stack pdr, and etc, but if he's just faster than me, none of that matters and it's because most classes can't interact with movement speed in a meaningful way.I feel like a good way to fix that is to rework the limb damage system and to give weapons on hit effects.
Give bladed weapons Achilles strike but worse, slowing you by more like 15% for only a second or so, and only doing 1 damage a step, but only if they hit your legs. And maybe give blunt weapons a stun affect if they hit your head or arms? A stronger slow, maybe more like 20% but for a smaller window, maybe half a second? And have it decrease your action speed by a small amount too, to simulate being stunned. All of this would be thematic and fit the feel of the game while giving melee combat more interesting choices other than swing at the opponents head and try to dodge his swings aimed at your head.
This will accomplish many things-
Add more skill expression into the game and make kiting more skill intensive and not just turn and run away. Do I am for his legs, exposing my head more but slowing him and guaranteeing my follow ups hit? Do I try to jump crouch over his swing and punish him, but expose myself by making my trajectory predictable?Do I try to hit the bard in the legs when I catch up to him, knowing he could just whip around and get a free head stabs in?It would also;
Make blunt weapons significantly better (while not the worst weapon class, most of them are mid or bad)
It would also shift the meta significantly, since it indirectly nerfs ranger warlock and wizard, it gives us the ability to put power back into wizards utility skills (which are just fun to use I mean haste invis self cast is just chefs kiss and imo making the class more about cool outplays and kiting and less about fireball oneshots) and allows us to shift the power away from warlock kiting builds and back towards hybrid caster BOC and other builds (especially if you make the bleed damage on step magic damage, nerfing phantomize). I don't really know how much it would effect ranger since they are in a pretty good spot, and getting caught as one is already a death sentence so I doubt an extra small slow would make it any worse but they would prob need compensatory buffs
Right now part of what makes the game so hard to balance is that we currently only have one real balancing lever, and that's damage. But by adding on hit effects we can change that.Melee warlock suffering? Make crystal sword shred a little magic resist on hit, making subsequent hits do more damage and rewarding them for getting in close and striking multiple times. Fighter winning two many 1v1s? Make larger weapons and blunt weapons stun more when they strike a shield. Ranger ends up too weak? Make them slow on leg hit base kit but only make it like 10-15%, and have the perk double it. Barbarian feels worse to play now that everyone else gets Achilles strike? Well guess what my man all two handed axes now also apply the bleed and slow effect on headshot, buffing arguably the worst weapon class and making half of their untouched perks viable overnight. Rogue doing way too much damage and one shotting people out of stealth? Yeah ngl I don't really know how to fix that one but the others are good ideas I think
All of that let's us shift power around and change balance without just making classes better or worse at killing you
right. the issue with movement speed is right now theres very little that counter it. arguably Slow is the Wizards strongest spell if you have debuff duration stacks.. but its extremely situational and most dont run with it... archery's slow doesnt last nearly enough.. hell if an archer nocks a 2nd arrow and shoots they already lost any ground they potentially could have gained..
Unless you stack movement speed to the extreme where it becomes a symptom of the problem instead of a solution

and? Staffs should not do more damage than a mace melee. Unless its a perk or spell that does that. magic staffs are ranged and non ranged weapons so spell books and orbs are ranged only. If you need to switch from melee to spells in a quicker than just switching weapons there you go.
staffs only work for clerics, as wizards have negative base physical damage

my internet was getting killed for a second till I closed the game then it was back to normal immediately idk what that was about but its was like .5 download to 300 as soon as i closed the game.

I've never played a hardcore Melee Combat/Fighting game where the main mechanic of the game is running away during every fight. Probably why it feels so shitty to play most the time. maybe they should look into that
there is no consistency in arena, one game you get naked timmys on your team, vs fully kitted teams, next is opposite, just let the que take its time rather than these 1 round games before everyone leaves.
Whenever yall add the first layer to ice caverns the gold pile should return to the middle again but have it be the 3 hit piles just like crypts has

The best Arean maps right now are the goblin cave maps. There's actually room to fight an meanuever.

Nerf Curse of pain scale by half to like .5 and .25 for dot dmg 7.Lower robust for barb to 10% and increase base stats. 8. Nerf Smite dmg but apllies long slow with faithfulness 8. Lower all ranged weapons dmg by 5% 9. Buff ranger agility base stats

Im just a simple man that doesnt care too heavily about the warlock meta, all i want is the ability to pin quests to somewhere on the screen to then go hand in hand with the ability to check quests mid game (save me time going thru them mid match)
Classes like Barbarians and Clerics are at a significant disadvantage compared to casters and other ranged users. To address this, there should be a penalty or restriction to prevent casters from simply jumping out of melee range to land another free hit. Pure melee classes already suffer greatly due to the lack of gap closers, unlike more balanced classes like Druids, or Warlocks who can repeatedly use "phantomize" as a get-out-of-jail-free card.
Even a Wizard with just 90 HP can strip off their armour while running, leap away, and land a few spells, which can be devastating for melee-focused characters. This further exacerbates the imbalance.
Another issue is Fighters, who can run with capped movement speed MS while also being able to use almost every weapon without any real drawbacks or penalties and still wearing full PDR armours. This is problematic, especially when compared to other melee classes like Barbarians, Rogues who lack relatively rapid and stronger ranged options, are slower despite having the same level of gear, and have 70% of their skills come with significant drawbacks. It feels unbalanced and frustrating.
Additionally, the current "longsword and rondel" meta needs attention. I'd suggest reviewing the kill statistics by weapon type, and I'm certain you'll see how the rondel's high DPS, combined with the longsword's ability to deal double its base damage twice, contributes to the issue. To help balance this, at the very least, the Barbarian’s Crush perk should negate parries or stagger opponents, rather than allowing them to get a free hit in return, for the rest of attack patterns instead of a boosted riposte damage just make them stagger the parried target while opening up a window for a basic hit with LS.
Lastly, the movement speed system itself needs a thorough rework. Instead of assigning arbitrary penalties like minus MS, introduce light, medium, and heavy armor classes that are affected by stats. Light armour could benefit from agility, while medium and heavy gear could gain bonuses from strength and vigor. This change would not only create more diversity in playstyles but also eliminate problems like overly fast Warlocks, who shouldn’t benefit from high agility while using robes etc.
are you gonna punish the griefers in arena? some are literally searching to end up opposite their friends, then leave so you have to play 2v3 rest of the game, only punishment for the legit players killing the afk leaver
How do you all feel about the current state of arena. I think the only issue is that its too many mobs, and it would be nice to have like a full minute after the final round to allow the winning team to loot. It only makes sense

Barbarian doesn't need any help at all. Achilles is arguable the best slowing effect in the game. Barb has been one of the best classes since the early playtests. W + LMB + ARRGGGGHH = WIN. And that's fine it's the point of the class.
The armour stripping needs fixing. At the low levels people don't even wear armour, the MS im more worth it. You should take bleeding damage if you get hit without a chest, or leg piece on.
Perhaps luck pots should have set luck value. its kind of redundant you have to have good luck ..to get good luck.
i leave a lot cause i dont want to fight 2 warlocks or 2 rogues, both classes are extremely broken atm and the devs are never gonna care

rogue does require slightly more skill but its still annoying being 4 tapped in full pdr by someone thats not even wearing any blues
rogue is glass cannon for sure, they have to take a huge risk though and get ultra close to players leaving them open for 2 tapping. and if they are playing mosquito build you can just avoid them by going the other way 😉
Rogues aren't OP. There have been time where they were, and it was bad. The problem with rogue, is that the design of the class is pure Anti-fun. They aren't fun to play as, and they sure as hell aren't fun to play against. There's nothing fun about chasing a mosquito, and there's nothing fun about stepping on a landmine.
also, would be nice to have a round for the winners to loot in arena. there is time but 90% of the time the enemy team just bum rushes you

In normals , I don’t have experience playing with randoms but I’m surprised you would use gear. From my understanding you can get hard griefed by your teammate , sorry for that
What do we think about having a map specific loot pools? Like having every gear only drop in certain maps, the thicker gear in frost maps or something like that yk.
I feel like with arena that’d make the game feel more purposeful, since it’s no longer just about gold farming, but directly finding the gear that you want to use in arena.
It’d make the grind more fun too, since you can choose which gear you want before hand and grind that specific dungeon, instead of spamming queue and hoping you get a good piece of gear.
I think more unique seeming gear in general would be nice too, like a goblin set of gear or special boss/sub boss gear. And more crafting options that aren’t just recolors of existing gear

First of all, I agree with you, there is a problem with the move speed in the game. But, I don't think the "Nerf move speed to the ground and remove all class that work around that/that I don't like'" is a good idea. There is thing to do/try before doing that. You are able to make a pretty accurate list of what class and especially what build of those class are too strong for you, maybe try to think of way to nerf them?
I too agree that Landmine rogue, the warlock that can heal full life so easily and druid that spam shapeshift are some of the most problematic class and here some suggestions/idea to change that.

Hey can we give the monk class a possible parry? One that would disarm (make them drop thier weapon)instead of giving a strong counter? It could be super fun to play around. ranger has like forty bow abilities, plus can do more damage with it if you're actually statting yourself with dex and agility (like you should be as it's it's main stats, that and armor pen) making it so you can spam four arrows in the time it takes fighter to knock one, and with over half the damage AT LEAST meaning you absolutely DESTROY anything at range, you are definately a ranger if you complain about literally the only other class that can use a longbow when it still can't even use it as well (in compotent hands, the fact you are complaining means you aren't those hands buddy, I've been maining ranger this wipe and my lord he is insanely OP if you use him with half a brain and shotgun, literally wiping lobbies with him)
survival bow + forceful shot + quick shot or fire or whatever it's called (two seperate abilities to increase fire speed, take either or OR EVEN BOTH because why not) shotgun bow+longbow+penetrating shot, or backstep for survivability if you feel it's needed and can't play around the build (not reccomended, I would reccomend using a team to single out enemies, shotgunnning then moving on) and many, many more builds but those two are just blatant win conditions against most opponents, the only real counter for the first build is a slayer running breakthrough and sprint and just closing the distance and smacking you silly, which will never happen because no one builds fighter like that

Ok a lot of people won't agree with me, but if possible could I make dungeons just for me and my friends, or is there plans for no pvp dungeons?. I play ND get something decent and then I usually have a top geared play just come and wipe me and my buddy's or just me by myself which yeah it's part of the game but it is definitely on my top annoyance list.
speed build makes plate fighter too squishy to use or do too little damage, can't use plate lock to do so really, and the other classes abuse it... there is no reason I should have to spend 1k+ gold as a FEE basically to just be able to move at a similar speed to base kit characters

it's not even just longsword (and it's only a noob trap if you've never played dark souls, if it is it's a weapon of mass destruction but requires a lot of skill with the timing, dex helps a LOT with it) it's melee in general being disappointingly ineffective against squishy classes that then proceed to one shot you from a mile away after borderline teleporting away, it feels like driving around a giant target on square wheels playing basically any melee class, it's absurd and you can't say it's not without lying to yourself

shield charge, gain a bunch of armor magic resist and move speed and anything in the path gets hit and nocked away for a bit of damage, but has a large cooldown and takes an ability slot, only works with pavise and give it to fighter, bam shield fighter is actually decently good at being a shield
spell reflect+improved shield slam (made into shield charge, shield slam is trash let's be honest even with buffs it just sucks) with a pavice and suddenly you have a half decent build that isn't overpowered, has burst effectiveness so it becomes weaker than normal when it's abilities aren't up but has excellent utility in team play
OR make it so shield charge doesn't do damage, just knocks them back and keep shield bash so they have to take both for optimal effectiveness and it makes it so you can't combo it with magic reflect as easily
Instead of knocked back, make it a “knocked down”, where their movement speed is fucked so others on your team can actually catch fleeing naked warlocks and wizards.

Yo Dilo , I dunno about your suggestion for the movespeed meta. I play mostly wizard in solo and duos , at <125 gearscore.
And I feel that if I couldn’t bunny hop I would die almost against everyone.
And I think adding a stun to a melee class would be even more one sided.
Sure I can kite a pdr fighter easily, but kiting Druid, bard, rogue, barb and slayer fighter is hard. I often feel that they run towards me , if I miss my icebolt , I’m dead. And sometimes they even jump the icebolt which negates the slow and they hit me enough to slow me down for the next hit and I die on the 2nd hit.
I don’t like the movespeed meta, but I don’t think giving melee classes a stun is the way to go

To improve the Arena, I suggest removing sub-bosses and focusing on elite and nightmare mobs. The waiting time could be better used if players didn’t have to spend money on healing items before entering. Instead, introduce a special merchant who sells health and magic protection potions, ensuring fair access to key items. Make the Skeleton Merchant the exclusive Arena trader, with rewards based on performance. Stun may be too much but root or more easy slow to apply could be good. Also imo that should come with a nerf to make harder stacking move speed, maybe by removing one or both speed stat on boots.
Also for me Wizard is special I see him like a class that is harder to play in solo because he rely more than other in having a frontline to protect him while he DPS. And I know it's not fair for some class but the game should be balanced for trio only, especially now that group can auto fill. (Things can be done about that too tho, imo the group should be created before in the tavern screen, so you can talk to the other before the game start, too choose a strat, see if someone have a red name etc)
Also maybe those control ability could be consumable and not skill, with stat requirement that make them easier too use for melee class but still eventually by all other too. Things can be done/tried, unfortunately I never saw any really good suggestions about move speed rework and that's why I liked this one that try ti solve the issues without directly attacking/nerfin move speed to the ground

I wanted to abuse warlock because it was op I entered trios, We were all warlocks. and we fought against a full trio warlock team and we got third partied by another 2 warlocks. I queued Duos we were both warlock (wow so creative classes people playing) and we fought against another 2 warlock
other classes that cry about warlock, unlike warlock mains, do actually play both classes to see that warlock slams all classes to the ground.

They didnt nerf the unfun stuff though. The unfun part is the slow-burn permaheal Torture Mastery builds where Warlocks just tag you and run away. To not have that playstyle be prevalent, Ironmace has to lower (not increase) the costs of other spells and make them viable; Since Warlock has to spend HP to cast, however, you need SOME kind of way to heal if you're casting all the time. This means Warlocks are usually either Hydrain or TM so they don't have to fill their inventory to the brim with potions. If a Warlock plays TM, everyone cries because the Warlock just tags a curse or two and runs to heal back. If a Warlock plays Hydrain, everyone cries that Warlocks get to full reset whenever they want. If spellcasting isn't worth it and we have to play melee, everyone cries that BoC is too good. This game's community is eternally crying, but Warlocks are an easy target for everyone else to gang up on because of how annoying their playstyle is when it's played in an optimal way. We only got a break in here when everyone was crying about Druid, and we'll get another break when everyone cries about Sorcerer. What Ironmace NEEDS to do about Warlock is pick an identity for it to lean into and make it good at that in a way that isn't lame. Personally, I reckon they should incentivize non-curse spells and give some other way to handle health costs so we can use the other spells on our list so we aren't forced to just run away all day and have to actively engage in combat outside 2 Zaps every 12 seconds.
Plz change religion and set the stats like 40 luck at max, 10 armor and 10 mr, 3 phys power and 2 magic power, why adding damage to undead and other things like that nobody cares, you gonna ruin the "hype" around the religion system if your not gonna listen the community :/

I think Druid is really underpowered and needs to be buffed. They should have at least 2, 3 or 46 new animal forms. Also, you should be able to be a combination of two animals at once with no penalty. Maybe give them a few more pets as well like a murder of crows that auto blinds all enemies to make escaping even easier, and a magical vine creature that heals you constantly. Maybe also an auto revive mechanic for the beginners who are still learning the 256 different animals

Well they have done this before. It was exactly like this, and they nerfed it , for a reason , barbs would just carry and spam axes.
And sure , they could still have 6 axes before at the expense of all their utility slots or a lot of inventory space and having to equip them and get slowed.
Now they can have 6axes on just 3 utility belts.
The fact you can carry that many means you can be more careless with it , and trust me , if you played before, a spamming Francisca axe barbarian ruins the game.
Sure rogues can use 2x throwing knife but the damage a throwing knife does compared to a franny axe isn’t even close

It's crazy how Ironmace changed Rangers draw speed about 3 seasons ago and now every single class in the game that can use Range is legit a better Ranger. Rangers have lacked so much since Ironmace decided to nerf Rangers into the dirt and that is they lack any pressure to even chase enemies let alone kite them, not to mention modules are only finite space and you can't kite forever. Traps are limited its not like you can bring 30 into a game so if youre playing ruins now goodluck getting down to the 3rd floor unless youre looting traps along the way and stay out from all fights if not being chased by that 1 druid player that will never let you escape becaues they can just engage on you for free all game. Or that Fighter that has faster move speed than you with 50% pdr in full plate and also hits harder than you with ranged weapons. Not to mention crossbows on bards and or survival bows will pretty much allow them to always just W key you if they even manage to hit you once. I just want to say that I'm by no means a new player. i've always mained ranger as i've always loved the skill level involved in projectile tracking but one thing is for sure Rangers are not a master of ranged combat if anything they're a hinderance to any team comp and bring little to nothing to the table. All gear that gives dmg slows rangers down to the point they can't even kite the enemy. Pavise is absolutely useless because youre to slow and cant attack with it.
Hunting traps kill you, your teammates not to mention you are limited when playing traps especially in solos because as soon as anyone hears a ranger they just W key them for easy loot. Oh how sad it is to play ranger this day and age might as well just play a level 1 fighter or bard or warlock or rogue or any other level 1 class and go in gray gear and just kill them to show dominance because they are ABSOLUTELY USELESS. No ironmace buffing forest hood did not make ranger viable. They lack PRESSURE in fights. Sure hit your longbow headshot from half a module away while the enemy is duck crouching behind cover and Line of sighting you sureee just trap them, meanwhile you get close to spear them and they still manage to hit you or you shoot headshots and they just duck them. Sure you can just trap them twice but then again youre already dead because they just dismantle your trap with their 180 hp meanwhile youre a idiot with max move speed 20k gold kit on and 110 hp and get 1 shot by a green kitted rogue. Heck you even lose to Wizards with their haste invis and they icebolt you out of invis and you cant even get your bow out in time to get a single shot off and if you do .. gues what they just duck crouch you because the meta for avoiding ranged combat which every class seems to have has made every single player in the game a master at dodging ranged combat. This isnt Demo version anymore or Play Test 1 ironmace. You dont need to nerf Rangers draw speed with bows by 30% anymore. Take it back to the good ol days.
When rangers actually had a specific mastery in a combat style and stop over simplifying ranged combat for every other class making it better and more viable to play than ranger. thats not how you buff a class by improving their playstyle ina opposite field. Give fighters buffs to shield oriented skills. Barbarians buffs to different playstyle and same with every other class in the game maybe then can Ranger actually be a viable classs. Barbs don't need a ranged option, they have a movement speed buff, and they generally don't wear chest armor to slow them down, pluse that have a dibilitating movement strike that works with their thrown weapon.
Rogues don't get the Short Bow that they are traditionally supposed to have from DnD.
Yeah ranger might be in the worst spot right now. Most abilities suck. Perks are mid. Then it's main weapon being a bow and it's not even the best with it. Is absolutely insane to me. But at the same time I understand how ranger meta is always bad for a game. Would like to see some kinda small rework to abilities though.

Randomize doors and remove the window, make it a 1/3 chance to fall off it's hinges, to be a locked steel door or to be a regular door. Less kiting, more unique matches.
Every people have a different opinion on what class are op or not, what class deserve a nerf or a buff. They nerfed Warlock and Wizard, both were pretty strong (especially warlock). Give them time, if figther really become an issue they'll nerf it

@wind elk because they only listen to Reddit users and Twitch streamers. They need to take the game in a direction that fits the intended design of the game while also not affecting the gameplay loop. If they want it to be a Competitive TTK extraction PvE/PvP full loot game then Druid shouldn't be able to 1 shot you. Most classes shouldn't be able to 1 shot you, but most importantly a Bear form druid only stacking strength and nothing else shouldn't be able to 1 shot you regardless since they are a Tank transformation. They should have to stack Physical damage reduction or HP not strength and ontop of that the damage should be fixed in Tank form like 20-30% of your max HP so you can't use it as a get out of Jail free card much like Rat form and Panther form with the escape. Druid is not balanced at all. And it disgusts me
IM need to stop making these big sweeping changes each patch. Particularly class balance changes. It drives players away. A certain percent of the warlock players will just quit DaD after this patch, wiz too

Idk if anyone's already asked for this, but, could the squire menu have a set option, where u can have like 2-3 base sets to choose from that you as the player can edit and save, I know there isn't too much need or application for this however, as a fighter it'd be nice to have the option to be able to quickly swap to a light, movement set from a heavy amor rating set or vice versa
There needs to be some time for healing items to apply or ppl will just reset in the middle of a fight if they can get some distance, so unfort this is a necessary evil I feel

ironmace please i love this game but the fact that you have a class that has both one of the best range advantages and the fastest output of damage close range and they can wear plate have 50% pdr while still having 310 moe speed 330 with sprint active is just abasulutley broken you need to take rondel dagger away from the fighter class it is just too overpowered every other person i run into is running rondel on fighter its just way too much dmg output for a class that is all around good you need to nerf rondel fighters idk how many people need too complain about it for you guys too realize that its an issue
Getting banned for teamkilling someone who blocks the only door out of the spawn is dumb.
So guys I had an idea how to implement a proper game loop into the game and also get rid of the map rotation.
For that we need to clarify what is the actual ingame goal in the dungeon runs. While there are quite a few activities you can do, nothing really stands out as a goal that all players share. But the common reason we all keep delving will always be the greed for loot. So basicly looting is the common goal for all (at least most) of us. Now the game loop has to be designed around that. If you think about it, there is actually not much actually incentivizing you to play the gear you accumulate. Every content in the game can be accessed with any gear even base kit. That has to change.
Similar to most mmorpgs I suggest designating the different gear score brackets to different maps. That way you would advance through the different dungeons while improving your gear.
In order to make that work there need to be three changes:
- There needs to be a minimum gs for every bracket
- Loot tables have to be adjusted depending on the map.
- Quests have to be adjusted according to the new accessibility of certain maps.
For example it could be like this:
0-24 gs: Goblin caves. Drops would be mostly green and occasionally blues, Bosses drop purps.
25-224 (or 324) gs: forgotten castle. Drops mostly blues occasionally purps, boss legendaries
225 (or 325) and above: frost mountain. Drops mostly purps occasionally legendaries, boss drops uniques.
Profits:
- easy to implement
- no map rotation anymore
- choice of map actually has a meaning instead of just preference
- in order to get better gear you need to invest gear
- option to get rid of high roller as a separate queue and implement it into the higher dungeons
- it fits the style and the general direction of dark and darker quite well and does not conflict with the idea of heaving multilayered dungeons

Ok so, can’t remove highroller , remember that high roller also adds new difficulty to the mobs.
So suggesting to only have goblin caves on 0-24 means there are nightmare type goblins that they made that would never see the light of day. Like the iconic nightmare goblin mage , would be nowhere to be found.

And also, this bracket of 24-224 is waaaayyy to big.
That’s way too much gear difference and fights will be stat checks all the time instead of skill fights.

They can and should remove highroller. Just slightly increase crypt and infernos difficulty by adding a bit more elites to crypts and a few more nightmare mobs to inferno. Its a pointless mode that no one really likes anyway and the excessive amount of nightmare mobs make PVP less fun
You have some points. For the gear score: IM has to dial that. Numbers where just for reference. Also I wanted to have a white only map for beginners and people that dont want to invest anything, so there are only two maps left to distribute the rest xD would obviously change with the implementation of new maps in the future.
For the point of forcing players: like I said currently we can access every content in every gear we want, thus gear becomes basicly irrelevant in terms of content. To have some sort of progression there needs to be something unlocked by reaching the games goal (collecting gear). Unless you want IM to implement tons of new content for this, there needs to be content designated to the different tiers of play.
To the point of taking away content: you could easily implement nightmare variants in a second layer of gc or within special rooms that have better loot or something like that.
I dont like the idea of the gear score based content though, just removing HR and tuning the difficulty of the lower floors/bosses a bit makes more sense to me

Some ppl wanna get bis sets and try out new builds and sets on high roller. Cause if u bring you 1000 gearscore into normal lobbies, you have an insane risk and very low reward.

I mainly agree with you, I too think the game loop is too light and that IM need to improve it but I think there is other way.

Right now when we go in the dungeon it's either for PvP, Quest, Boss and maybe farm some ore or craft material. It would be really cool to have ne objectiv with medium to high difficulty, going for a Forge run to upgrade your gear with the risk of getting ambush by other player, or in a Boss rush/PvE Arena kind of run with a room that lock you in and send wave of monster to you.
And for the gear score well I got used to the idea that there is no perfect way. The system we have now where the game try to put you with people close in gearscore is probably the best, they just need to adjust how queueing work, on what is the priority (more accurate matchmaking, shorter queue time ...), and maybe give some option to the player so he's able to say "I prefer to wait more but have better matchmaking" stuff like that. And most importantly this system (actually any gearscore system) rely on how many player we have, that's probably the most important metrics and we can't really do nothing about it. and finally about the idea of removing HR to layer the difficulty on each floor I kinda like the Idea maybe only for Ruins Crypt Inferno for a start as it's where it'll work the best. But they do that they need to add a white gear only, easy on every floor with less loot game mode
I like this crafting idea, this force idea is pretty cool , it would be cool if the forge had multiple spawn points , so people can’t just camp the forge and farm you. So at least you had to go look for it first. I love this. The biggest issue I see with this is that items in your inventory increase your gearscore. And maybe I’m a 25-124 player and I can’t craft anything unless I join the higher bracket type of thing.
In the perfect world there is no more gear bracket because the game put you with people near your gearscore everytime. Honestly? Absolutely not. Getting rushed and stomped by a fully gear team 8 run out 10 was not fun and still isn't fun. I prefer by far having fair fight where if I lose it's because the guys in front of me is better or because I made a mistake or could have played better. I guess there is an adrenaline rush when you manage to kill a full gear team but most of the time they just suck and two shot you while you played perfectly, dodge/block most of the hit and land 4-5 hit to see that they're not even mid life on the killcam. That's not worth it to me

remove PVE from TEAM PVP ARENAS
I thought about what you wrote and maybe my approach just isn't it idk. But I feel like there needs to be something that all the looting is leading to. Like pvp only players now have arena. That was a beautiful addition and gave purpose to the looting. I just dont enjoy fighting others for the single purpose of fighting them. I love meaningfull pvp but I cant have deathmatch or similar formats. What I actually want is something similar to arena for Dungeon delving enjoyers like me. I love your suggestions and upvoted them already, but I feel like they are just more fun activities you could do and nothing to build up loot for. Nothing that gives you some sort of progression towards a greater goal. I thought of maybe changing bosses or lower floors in a way that you actually need a certain amount of gear to have a chance of beating them or changing them so that it's more about the gear you bring in the fight and less about the countless hours you invested learning every detail of the bosses attack animations. But I think a lot of people like there bosses this way so I dont see this as a solution either. I just want some sort of progressive goal and meaning in the game xD

Yes I feel the same, a PvE goal would be awesome. Do you have any idea in mind? I'd like something that's accessible by everyone but hard enough to "force" you to try it with gear. My dream would have been something like "Raid" boss that require several team or maybe one really good geared team to down, like they tried to do with Frost Wyvern. But people seem to be too PvP focused or don't trust other enough for that unfortunately.
I don't know what the gem socketing system will look like, but they could add door that you can unlock by one unique gem that's hard to obtain. But the goal would still be to gather more and more gear.
Maybe the solution is to add stuff out of the dungeon, like the Religion system. Thing that push you to gather better gear, to farm more gold to improve a Guild hall, a personal Hideout or something like that. In reallity the solution is probably a bunch of all of that
Yes I was really pumped when they introduced wyvern as a kinda raid boss. Reverting that kinda killed it for me ngl... but I also understand that so much people complained that IM basicaly had to do it. I think they also kinda nailed it mechanic wise.
They need to remove crossbow hotswapping with the normal crossbow and the windlass. Carrying 4 crossbows in your inventory can guarantee a kill in less than 5 seconds assuming youre landing your shots.
My proposed solution is to make the equip timer the same as the reload speed.

I'm very sceptical about the religion system. I dont see it adding anything of value to the game unfortunately. Same goes for the ap system. But well see where it all will end up. I feel like to give the looting some kind of greater end, you would need to have some sort of content locked behind a gear barrier. Which is what I suggested.

I also dont know if I'm alone with my opinion, but I feel like actually bringing gear into the dungeon feels like a complete waste. And that's just not how it should be for a loot focused game. Pve fights feel mostly the same with gear, until you get to the point of oneshoting small mobs, but for that you have to be quite stacked with damage and there is also no further progression beyond that. Pvp fights on the other hand just get worse and worse the higher your gear score is. So for me looting stuff is great fun, but actually using the stuff I looted feels like willingly reducing the fun of the game xD. And there is just nothing you can do with gear that you cant do without. So why even bother? Dont get me wrong, I play most games with gear and often above 125 gs, but every other game I contemplate why I'm even doing that xD spending thousands of gold on kits just to get oneshotted or kited or stabbed to death by a Rondal without any real profit in terms of content or gameplay changes through it.
They did this for like 2 days at the end of last season and I thought they finally got it xD but they reverted it the other day to 'not limit playstyle choises' or something along those lines xD I almost lost it as I read that xD

Suggestion: Fire you're inexperienced devs, Hire someone who won't create spaghetti code and unfinished mechanics. You can use the funds to allocate towards some more experienced devs. Don't just keep people on your team because of nepotism reasons. You should be looking for the best possible devs to make the game as good as possible. Mismanagement of employees will lead to mismanagement of the game and then the entire company.

I would like to share my feelings on the state of the game, what it does well, and what it does not do well. Dark and darker has the best melee combat system of any video game I have played to include elden ring, Mount and blade, Chivalry, etc to name only a few. I love the melee combat system in this game and it is soley the core reason why I have played this since its first play test. Unfortunately the game has become such a ranged kite fest that melee combat isn't even something anyone gets to engage with anymore. It has unfortunately just become a standard fps. While its fine if you love FPS games, in my opinion it was the other half of this game that made it fun, which no longer exists. Duos and Solos are comprised exclusively of movespeed stacking and ranged play. There is no viable way to play a melee tank in these game modes, which unfortunately has ended my favorite game. You could argue that I am totally wrong, but I would bet this preference represented the majority of all the players that have since quit this game.

I don't think nerfing move speed to the ground is the solution but they need to nerf it a bit. Maybe remove one of the two move speed stat, or make agility reduce your strengh or vigor a bit, that way if you choose to be fast, you'll also be weaker and squishy

Nah I think a bit of PVE is good even though many maps for sure had too much in the previous weeks, there's a ton of perks and skills that interact with PVE and in general Dark and Darker PVP usually involves considering PVE.
Its not good to try balance around two entirely different environments (for example, Warlocks without any PVE or lots of PVE are quite different). Besides, having a few mobs around paces the combat and creates dynamic situations you can play around which adds depth and variety to the rounds.

- (My original idea) Make the swap timer be equivalent to the reload speed of the weapon used. This allows the utility of mobility with the weapon while preventing it from bursting down a player like in the clip.
- Allow only 2 weapons of the same kind (ranged only(?)) in your inventory. This is similar to the previous fix, but keeps the 'class build option' alive.

NEW Warlock perk "Masochism"
Applies buff duration instead of debuff duration to curses casted on self and allies to allow increased duration of curses like PoS and BsB.
Wouldn't it just be better to remove the skulls in arena in that case? The only times you really get spawn rushed in arena is when your taking too long to clear PVE....
I like the idea of a perk that makes self casting PoS and BsB more common, but I feel like that perk steps on the toes of Curse Mastery, both in effect and specific mechanics
Curse Mastery already grants your PoS +30% duration
but more importantly is how the two perks would interact
Curse Mastery makes PoS apply a different status that simply does the same thing with a longer duration, which is why a normal and Curse Mastery PoS can stack
This perk would likely need to apply a buff with the same effect to work smoothly
but that would then mean that there are now 4 versions of PoS; Normal PoS, Curse Mastery PoS, Masochism PoS, and Curse Mastery + Masochism PoS
with all of them literally have the same effect but all with different durations
just seems like a bad idea from a backend perspective
and while that isn't inherently a problem with the perk idea itself, the infrastructure for modified buffs/debuffs could definitely be better, I still feel like the idea is better suited playing with anything other than the duration

Give option in normal Lobbys to either be an adventurer or Bandit. Bandits starts together but have less total members adventurers start more spread out. adventurers are friendly which has way of being identified. mobs friendly to bandits decent free gear slightly stronger then base but cant find new upgrades inside dungeon. kills rack up points allowing for slightly better or more options for bandit free gear.
Some people like to focus on pvp and others enjoy exploring might be a good way to help get party with similar players and make some interesting moments.

Add a new stat for spellcasting items - Spell Energy Regeneration. For a magic staff - 15, for a spell book - 10, for a crystal sphere - 12, for a magic sword - 5, for a ceremonial staff - 20. When equipping a spellcasting item, a buff is placed on the player. This buff restores the amount of spell energy specified in the magic staff stat every 2 or 3 seconds. After using any spell, a debuff is placed on the player for 30-40 seconds. This debuff prohibits the regeneration of spell energy and is re-applied when any spell is re-activated.

When will the Druid be nerfed? Other classes have to pay a much higher cost and perform more complex maneuvers to counter and defeat the Druid, whereas the Druid's required effort is far less. In the matchups against other classes, the Druid can afford to make numerous mistakes, while other classes can only make one or two. Is it reasonable for such a class to exist? I suggest changing the Druid's shapeshifting skill to have a cooldown and a limited number of charges so that the Druid cannot act recklessly during battles.

Since i found no better idea of content progression i made a suggestion with my idea of a gear based progressive game loop.
I know that there are some things that have to be dialed out but it is just meant to be a pitch to spark an idea. Feel free to add thoughts or better ideas to achieve a game loop in the comments.
I also know that locking any kind of content behind any kind of mechanic is something that will have a lot of people crying, but how can there ever be any kind of progression if you have any kind of content unlocked from the start? Like do you want to play an RPG that lets you fight the final boss before actually playing the game? or an MMO that lets you run the final Raid without playing trough lower level dungeons and raids?
Dark and Darker has to satisfy both dungeon delvers and people that are just here for the pvp and nothing else. With arena they implemented a solid overarching goal for the later. But if you dont find joy in deathmatch style battles (wich is imo why most of us playing this early access game and not mordhau or chiv) there also needs to be some overarching goal and progressive motivation. Quests kinda tackle that, but in the long run this imo can only be achieved by tieing the unlocking of content to your progress in the game.
Anyway this was my ted talk. Feel free to upvote my suggestion if you like it or at least the idea of having any kind of content progress.

idk, I feel like it would be better to have some kind of cooldown system rather than spell charges
for example, say a druid turns into a bear, does some bear things, then turns into a panther; bear goes on cooldown for some amount of time
then they turn into a human; panther goes on cooldown for some amount of time
a little bit later, bear comes off cooldown but panther is still on cooldown
to me that sounds like a more interesting system that still leaves plenty of room to balance it
this system also addresses a complaint I've seen about druids using rat form to jump through windows
even with a few charges, that trick would allow the druid to escape anyone who can't break doors given how much distance each door would give
if rat had an impactful cooldown, you'd only be able to do the jump through one door before having to run away normally for a time

with the speed that the jump can be pulled off, survival bow seems like the only bow with a fast enough draw to punish the strat with, and that's assuming you have it out when the druid decides to do it
all the druid would need to do is wait for you to shoot and then make the jump before your next arrow is ready

Don’t buff health (it’s supposed to be squishy) and yes nerf transformation…a simple way to do this is to give the animal forms specific skill, cool downs when you turn into the form. So this will negate the” panthers glide “ as some call it because chickens double jump wouldn’t kick in until a sec later or so they may dash and turn into a chicken but no gliding across the entire module. We have a move speed cap for a reason.

You as a warlock can cast curse of pain a very low cost spell and if you land JUST ONE casting of it you are taking half max hp from who ever you hit.
So with that in mind you could land your one curse and while it tics you just run straight at your target and even if they don’t do any damage to you, you could simply phantomise and hit them with one or two dark bolts while your victim literally can’t do anything,
Can’t damage you, can’t run from you and can’t chase you down…..

There are two types of aggro in this game. Proximity aggro and damage aggro.
If you hit a mob , he will follow you even if your teammate is near.
If you go near a mob and then bring that mob over to your friend. He will swap aggro once your friend is closer then you are to the mob.

A more dynamic alternative to "sitting by the fire" for casters.
Add a new characteristic for items that cast spells - Spell Energy Regeneration. For a magic staff - 15, for a spell book - 10, for a crystal sphere - 12, for a magic sword - 5, for a ceremonial staff - 20. When equipping an item that casts a spell, a buff is placed on the player. This buff restores the amount of spell energy specified in the magic staff characteristic every 2 or 3 seconds. After using any spell, a debuff is placed on the player for 30-40 seconds. This debuff prohibits the regeneration of spell energy and is re-applied when any spell is re-activated.
This innovation will not strengthen casters during combat, but will improve their life after it. Now casters are too "stuffy", the game should not turn into Mordhau or Chivalry 🙂

Shouldn't they add some sort of acceleration? Hit and runs are fine, but it's weird that characters can take of full speed each time. Should be something minor like 98% at start, 99% after 0,5s and 100% after 1,5 sec

In this game, slings are medium-damage weapons capable of launching two types of projectiles: rocks and lead sling bullets, which are made for armored targets.
In Dark and Darker, slings could be implemented not as a singular weapon but as two weapons:
Balearic Slings:
These are your stereotypical slings. They deal low-medium damage and are fast to reload. They essentially act as the counterparts to the Crossbow/Recurve Bow. Because of the simplicity of these slings, they are quite nimble, allowing the user a high degree of mobility. They have the same range as a Staff Sling but cannot throw anything heavier than what the staff sling throws.

These are slings attached to a staff. They deal medium-high damage due to the ability to throw heavier projectiles at much greater distances than the Balearic slings. The addition of Slinger weapons could bring variety to the ranger class, which lacks any significant content in the form of weaponry or perks (looking at you, Campfire Mastery.) The addition of the slinger weapons could add variety to the dungeon and make justice for the slinger weapons, which are so underrated in media such as movies and video games.

Movement speed and the penalties associated with using weapons, swapping weapons etc was balanced for a reason. Bunny hopping completely negates these. Remove it from the game. Remove the perk for druid to change forms instantly or just remove the class entirely.. the class is neither fun or engaging to interact with.

Sling would definitely be a good addition. It was probably the most ubiqitous ranged weapon on the battlefield for Millenia. I think it would fill a pretty unique space for ranged weapons. There are certain classes that have NO physical ranged options. Cleric, Warlock, (Druid?). I think it would be good to have a ranged weapon that ALL classes can use.
It would probably fit barb the most since Romans viewed slingers as barbarians, but they still recruited them

DRUID NEEDS A NERF its not even close to fair. druids own the arena. first person i ran into, goes from cast to a bear on top of me, undodgable attack that took 90% of my health, i just barely got away after second winding, he comes flying through a window at me and hits me again for most of my health. i ran right through the middle of goblin caves and with some luck i lost him. next person i ran into was a different druid who lunged ontop of me and turned bear. they need to put a cooldown on shapeshifting or something, the instant switch; panther to chicken to bear is unbelievably overpowered. the slam attack is often unavoidable and does way too much damage. plus rat mobility like window jumping makes them unavoidable on slower classes.
here's an idea, add a second floor to gobbo caves with a huge open room with a large open spot in the ceiling that lets light in, with a bunch of plants and stuff like on castle but with cobwebs everywhere and a giant spider boss that spawns mummy spiders and when it gets low summons three giant spiders (like the ones on gobby caves) and the rest of the map is a bunch of cave like structures with the minibosses consisting of centipedes, giant spiders, and death worms, and the enemies on the map consist exclusively of bugs like the dragonflies, spider pots reskinned as web nests, death beetles, occasional bats, and a new enemy that's a mother spider that spawns tiny mouse sized spiders that you have to kill with fire bottles
add in a special way down in mid that spawns half the time in place of the elevator that's a giant web lined pit
or maybe add it on the sides in lesser visited locations, with a second goblin town above

Please remove the one shot kills from the hell bosses. Thanks to the lag and desync you cannot avoid them most of the time. Nothing like taking 30+ minutes just to get to hell only to be killed by the 1st one shot mechanic cause even though you dodged it you still die due to desync. So please since it does not seem like you are ever going to do anything with the server problems in the very least get rid of the one shot mechanics ffs.

remove the ability for fighters even with weapon mastery to wield bows, or put a heavy debuff(30-50%) on the damage as in its current state, a fighter can do more damage than a ranger at range (a ranger should do more damage than a FIGHTER with a bow) and outlast a ranger due to having plate armor.

If everyone uses something, that means it's part of the meta right? I'm not suggestion no consumables, just a decrease in their significance and use. Everyone is taking 3 blues 3 purples 15 reds and 15 bandys, 2 surg kits and more. It's out of control
It’s not a part of the meta if it’s something that everyone is supposed to use and is encouraged to use, consumables is a game mechanic and if you don’t bring them in you’re at a disadvantage
That’s like saying bringing gear to a game is meta, it’s not, you’d just be at a disadvantage if you didn’t do it
The degree to which a certain part of the game is used and/or is relevant to the game play is a definition of how it relates to the game meta. That's literally what it is
The type, quantity, stats etc on that gear is the meta, yes that's exactly right.
Consumables, gearing, perk/skill builds, map use and in game decision making are the components of the meta.

when multi classing is reintroduced make it so each character my choose to multi class into ONE other class.
Example: a wizards chooses to multiclassing into cleric for healing, that wizard may now only choose from the wizard and cleric perks/skills lists when leveling. The wizard can no longer choose from any other classes perks and skills lists
two suggestions:
- Druid nerf
- Add in a final quest from each vendor that unlocks map icons such as rez shrines
remove druid entirely

One suggestion: Perhaps add a bounty system with the goblin merchant to replace gambling. In short, a selection of randomized quests that reset daily/every so often, and reward various pieces of gear. Players could decide which to tackle, based on the rewards. For example, they might prioritize a quest they know rewards them a legendary over one that doesn't. And the difficulty and number of quests offered on the bounty board could increase as the goblin affinity increases
Ironmace, fix the iron mace it's attack range is like three times longer than the length of your arm and weapon combined what is this game even

maybe a rework to the karma system? I mercy kill a guy because his teammate asks me to because the dude's wifi is down, he doesn't wanna lose a 1k kit and there's ten seconds and only a solo extract and his homie died, so I kill the randy yet he can still (and did) punish me, and a teammate tries to kill me, i kill them after they attacked me first, I get punished, and a teammate walking into a sword swing that would not have hit them had they stayed still? I get punished.... this is stupid I know the system doesn't really punish you but even though my intent and actions are for good I get viewed as a teamkilling psychopath because of my name color, I don't even like red I like blue but it takes ten years to raise karma, I could give a guy a 10k item (and have before) and as a result get +1 karma and then nothing, it's stupid
maybe some way to regain karma faster, like helping people to complete quests by killing things they need killed for quests gives a decent karma boost
it'll help balance out the trolls, liars and people getting themselves killed by accident and getting all upset because they literally walked into the middle of a melee fight with polearms not expecting to get hit and obviously getting hit
allow shift + right click on gold to fill gold bags to 50, without singly having to click and drag one by one
U can just squire > quick prepare and then stash all ur gold and it will automatically fill the bags

Rogue perk consolidation.
Rogue as a class has been receiving nerf after nerf for the past half a year. This, coupled with various changes to other classes has completely stripped Rogue’s class identity away. There are classes like bard and slayer fighter that do rogue’s job better and greater efficiency, while we rogues are forced to stay in the rat/landmine strategy with Hide, sacrificing at least 2 perk slots to make the ability effective. In order to even BEGIN to make rogue competitively viable and fun again there needs to be massive perk consolidation for the class, as well as reworking their abilities.

Double jump base kit
Double jump was nerfed into the ground due to a knee jerk reaction to the complaints of rogues dominating ruins in season 1. Since then though, with the introduction of the crows an overwhelming majority of locations are now inaccessible to rogue without taking DOT damage. Because of this, rogue should gain double jump as base kit without the -10MS. The class should fundamentally be an acrobatic duelist, and should feel as such. -
Dagger mastery/Thrust merge
Unfortunately due to the rise of the PDR (physical damage reduction) meta that is taking place, daggers for Rogue’s at face value deal negligible damage against heavily armored opponents. Thrust is supposed to help with this issue, but at the end of the day 7 out of the 9 classes barely scratch above a PDR percentage of ~20%, making Thrust a one time situational perk against Cleric and Fighter. Sacrificing a perk slot to deal with the potential for an encounter with these classes isn’t fun, and limits freedom of perk choice. By merging dagger mastery and Thrust together you encourage dagger usage while simultaneously freeing up a slot to improve your kit against other threats. -
Tumble rework/acrobatics ability
This ability/skill would function similar to a spell memory wheel that would allow you to select from various acrobatic feats that the rogue can perform

Man I think pvp would be way more fun if less classes had OP ranged weps. For example Bard extremely strong support class. He doesn't need a bow or crossbow. At the very most let him use the hand crossbow. Fighter class if they must have a crossbow they should be made to take the perk for it. At the same time they should not be allowed to use other bows. Probably be best if they didn't have crossbows either though. This would help stop the dumb range meta where a teams shoot at each other from half a football field for 5mins. Doing fuck all except wasting meds and increasing the chances for a 3rd party for when the fight finally ends. I think back to those early playtest days and it wasn't this range meta where each team posters with no one wanting to push.

Make enemy light sources like torches and lanterns reveal a rogues invis, nerfing the invisibility itself so that you can actually buff the class to be good and not just a sick practical joke. That way people can actually have a counter to landmine that's their fault for not bringing if a rogue blows them up from stealth.

100% this. Only class that should dominate consistntly from far is the ranger. Fighters must sacrifice a perk slot and any other class makes no sense for them to have bows.
The game is called dark and darker yet light is hardly used as a mechanic, I feel like this makes landmine actually need to think about its surroundings. Of course, I fully expect iron mace wouldn't buff rogue to compensate for something like this which would be a tragedy. He's bad enough as it is

Yeah idk how ppl don't see this. I mean we have fighters in full armor running survival bow. Bards running dual crossbows while dishing out the best buffs in game. If you're not one of thse classes you're forced to just hide until ppl get close range. Which they won't they will just sit back and hope you push them. I'm on a wiz and i'm using my crossbow almost as much as spells. Hits harder than some spells. Harder to dodge at longer ranges. Just dumb.

Put a cooldown on shriek of weakness, you shouldnt be able to spam it every second, at least a 3 second cooldown per song. Also instead of hitscan make curse of pain a projectile. (and every other spell in the game besides cleric heals) The whole idea being able to hitscan away 30% of someones HP and run away is ridiculous at least make it somewhat skillful
I wouldn't say the game is dying, but it does have a new player retention problem. Its a very similar problem that all full loot hardcore pvp MMOs went through. The experienced players eat the newbies/low skill players. Those newbies/low skill players leave. Then the mid tier players become the new low skill players and they get eaten. This repeats until the game slowly bleeds out in population over several years. The biggest issue is there isn't an on boarding system to protect/teach new players how to play.

SQUIRE SUGGETION: maybe another tab in the squire for your ARENA load out. You can put your gear in this tab to have the squire notify you “if gear is not found by the character entering the arena it will be lost to the victor if you lose your match”
ARENA SUGGESTION: make a hardcore mode. Where if you lose your gear will be distributed to the player that killed you most (in the event there is a tie some how the spoils will go to the last person to kill you)
Inferno suggestion: At least have an indicator of what boss will be in Inferno before we spend 45 minutes just to find out it's not the boss we want/ need.

Path of Exile has a great system, they allow you to purchase additional inventory slots for a small amount of money. DaD could make some more income to expand the game by selling such things!

I am here once again requesting a Crystal 1 handed weapon to be wizard only (dagger/short sword in right hand) and also to please consider perhaps buffing Quarterstaff to 4 block power and 5 or 10% armour penetration

Would love to see caster druid more viable (not just animal forms). I suggest to rework the Nature's Touch and Dreamfire combo, by adding Restore in the mix. So the new description looks like this:
DreamFire
Deal 15(1.0) magical damage to all enemies in an area. Instantly heals caster and allies currently affecte by Nature's Touch or Restore for 10 (1.0) health per target damaged. This effect applies within a 7 m radius of the caster.
