It would be nice if the market place had a selection for class as well. I love the market place but sometimes finding class specific items can be a little hard especially when you don't know all the potential item names for a class.

Remove solo and do.like hunt showdown. Random matchmaking alongside handicap for peoples queuing solo or duo vs bigger team to compensate. No more playerbase spread out and more fair ranked matchmaking would come from it. Imo that would fix many issue especially teaming and an easier time to balance classes

The current game is a playground to test the skills of a bunch of hackers. Because there are no more players left, we keep encountering a bunch of hackers from one game to another. The report function is like a non-existent thing. Reporting keeps encountering the same player. qingxiao1 to qingxiao2 and a long line full of qingxiao names, just keep the hacker ban mode for just a few hours like this asking why the game doesn't die

Selection is definitely a step in the right direction IM, but just repeating my suggestion here:
If you want to stabilize a player spread between the different maps, the best thing would be to have a fourth "quickplay" queue (one for each team-size, of course). This queue would give players a small bonus to maybe AP or a slight luck increase. Something tangible but not major, and would randomly distribute them to one of the existing maps' lobbies to rapidly fill them up.

Stack ice caves and goblin caves together with ice caves as first lobby; half the statics going down to goblin. Would help reduce issues with player pools being split as well

Day 5 of asking for a complete ruins rework the layout of the map is very conducive to PvP which wouldn’t be bad if there weren’t 2 more maps where PvP should still happen in theory I suggest a deviation from the module style of map building and just actually make ruins a castle that is hard to navigate and has unique intractable features such as being able to hit levers to close doors a couple rooms away to mess with other teams maybe a room you need to bring a key for that has a static hell in it just something that would make ruins feel less W key like

Im abit tired of gold teams clearing lobbys - suggestion make a random effect apply to the undergeared players that upon death by a gold geared player, they rise up as a Boss, such as warlord, and if they kill the gold team, their team is resurrected 😄

Torture mastery should be changed to 50% increased spell cost(rounded up) instead of +100%, keep the base heal per tick 1 (0%) scaling, then also make it heal recoverable HP per tick by 1(25-50% Attribute scaling)
The warlock right now is so strong, I dont think he needs anything more. They should be focusing on other classes with lackluster options, warlock as it stands can play in so many different ways its kind of crazy.

In marketplace, be able to right click an item in your stash and search it. Every item you sell needs to be researched if you want to make a decent amount of gold off it, so why not add a shortcut? Maybe even include the rolls in the filters, they can easily be discarded.

I'm happy that we'll get to try some crypts again, since ruins is trash for a majority of classes except full ranged casters and rangers. I never agreed with it being gate-kept behind ruins in the first place and though I like the crypts map, ever since it changed I've basically completely ignored ruins>crypts>inferno ever since it was gated. It's just a pointless risk to go there with the ruins in the way.
I wonder if ultimately they're going to implement fully random map selection like some of their competitors - And for the record I would prefer that a thousand times more than removal of duos or solos or any sort of forcing duos and solos to only one map. It would highlight balance issues with maps though.

From my own personal experience with the game, I think that the matchmaker should be changed for balance issues with PvP:
Normal Can enter with Grey/White Gear, Poor Loot (pretty much the way it is now).
High Roller Can enter with Green/Blue Gear, Decent Loot but no chance to find Legendries, slight chance for mobs to be Elite.
Legendary Roller Epic/Legendary/Unique Items, many Elite Mobs, Chance to find Legendary items.
To solve the match making problem, maps could just be Random instead of you choosing what map to play.
Is not enjoyable when you play with a decent kit of like 2000 gold and you encounter a player with a 20K kit which makes it impossible for you to defeat them making the PvP experience not enjoyable when you have no chance to win a fight against a player simply because his gear set is way superior than yours.

That sounds like a lot of work, I think there should be a game mode more casual friendly that is not just Normal as in HR you mixing up people who may play this game like 4 hours a week with people that play like 40 hours a week
Also the map randomizer could prevent Boss farmers that just play the game map over and over again to grind legendaries to just be extremly rich and even if they are mediocre and PvP just kill people effortlessly thanks to their set, there should just be a filter for people with legendary gear and green/blue for people who just do not do those kind of things.
That could also work, if normals could be capped to Rare or Uncommon could be actually enjoyable

yeah its indeed they're hardly to add hitter in 1 shot meta. As if there are a real bare hand mastery that change attack pattern or action speed for that seems to be fun.

They should probably hide the rolls on crafted items, amazing roles on say a Demons Glee aren't as meaningful or impactful if you can get BIS rolls in a day or two. Also they should make it a bit harder to scale other things such as action speed or damage with Vigor, health and damage should be a trade off.
No reason to make people trade off and have less health imo, ttk is way too high so the health is needed
they need to either cut the entrance fee for normals solo or increase the amount of points you get in some way,voyager is already a rank to somewhat struggle with points while exemplar will be ubearable

I'm fine with there being people with a lot of health, but having a health, health % and damage add on a piece of gear isn't right, it's just widening gear gap between players and taking out the need to really specialise your build. TTK can be high, but it should be if your a glass cannon, what we have right now is Adamantite cannons with 160+ health as a squishy class.

Let me be less obtuse, GC. Has pretty much ruined the game.
Solo queue has indeed divided the community and due to those changes they had to make specific classes more viable solo but you need to also understand that the game is in testing and that these are essential for the games growth.. imagine the amount of people that left because they didn’t have a steady group to play with. I understand that there is a matchmaking system in place but you aren’t exactly going to be enjoying the game nearly as much with them as you would with your own friend group. Most people decided that playing solos was better (not sure if that makes sense I am out having dinner lol)
The issue is that they made a choice to gather a larger audience instead of working on the core of the game. Which lead to scope creep that has been too large a bite to chew and as a result every other facet of the game has suffered. Additionally, the pressure has clearly gotten to them and they're fumbling nearly every update.
With the test servers coming out I think update in the future will be a lot more controlled. I also think that the trios idea would eventually kill the game due to the reason I stated above. The offline change wouldn’t do anything but help the player count (it could just be a solo experience where you’re locked to one map just so you can understand the combat system without running into anyone) as it stands now the new player experience is terrible and the game is suffering because of it
I disagree, having 60K palyers concurrently. Granted steam was a big part of that. That is a far healthier game than we have now. In addition, if the kept trios, we'd more than likely have more evolved classed more of them and a better end game
The only reason it got to that point is because of all the new players coming and testing out the game.. plus most metas didn’t exist
Meta's started developing after pt 2. Once it got that big jump of popularity people were analyzing the skills and has been prevalent ever since. The reason it wasn't nearly as brutal, was because every class was powerful. Barb wasn't as popular, however landmine rogue solos actually were really healthy for the trios map. Due to the fact they were capable of gutting 1 person ina meta comp
it was a like 1 week playtest where balanced issues and metas werent established, I dont think thats a healthy comparison.
The game will def have a ton of concurent players once it goes on steam and gets better, however I don't think it would get to 60k concurrent anytime soon

The difference is that there were plenty of people attempting to learn the game at that time so they could have the knowledge of metas but not really know how to utilize it
in trios, they def were. it stoped one team from dumpstering the whole lobby because the were omega geared

I think you'd just be inviting a player base that wants PvE only. We don't have the offline mode and lots of people want that. I think they should improve the PvE and make it much more of an interaction as opposed to a meatgrinder like it is now (which why i can't understand what ppl like about it so much). That being said, even if that lobby didn't bring anything back to the lobby. The new player experiance is going to be dog no matter what. You have sweaty try hards who will out gear and stomp you no matter what. Practicing in a safe zone is just asking for pain later instead of getting it over with
crypts is a terrible map in my opinion and i've uninstalled because the game is no longer fun to play for me

It's actually kinda insane how slow it is to draw out weapons in this agility meta. I've had times where i would go up against rouges and they would run away and throw knifes when i have a sword and shield out but then charge me when i start taking my bow out and then retreating and throwing knifes again when i pull out my sword and shield again. Literally barely any opportunities to get hits on people that run and know how to kite you with agility. If they're right on you and you decide to switch weapons then they get such a gracious window of opportunity to go in on you. Not just rouges, but any class that runs agility. "Just run throwables", surely filling up half my utility slots with throwables is completely healthy for the game.
Buff TM so that it makes curse of pain stackable 5 time
honestly I agree with this, specifically for void blade. Even if you could scale the dmg getting like 13 mag dmg wouldnt be that broken, its a long sword which is already not a great weapon and also there is a lot of mr sources now, or at least, warlock and barb can both get really good mdr.

I think could be a great idea to do a Parry rework, instead of having to put the tip of your sword to match the swing it could just be simply a Well Timed parry that could have the hitbox of a shield for just 0.5s and have a 1s cooldown if missed, I also think more weapons should be able to parry not just the Longsword making the melee fights a bit more skill based and not just M1 and whoever has better gear wins.
Maybe after the game is actually 1.0.

I would rather they spend time on the game that I purchased to play than divert their attention. They seem to struggle even now, can't imagine what it would be like if their attention was diverted.
It wouldn't need to be anything super complex like making the whole game in an offline mode.. It could be something like the training grounds everyone is asking about that way players can have a chance to learn the game without getting slammed the first match they jump into. It could legit just be a solo ruins only game where you cant go down to crypts giving you time to learn the area and get to understand your class more

I kinda agree. specifically with resourcefulness stacking, I think its a bit too strong on bard. with 30 all bard buffs and debuffs last like 2x the length or 3x, some crap. A bit strong for debuffs especially.
Unfortunately that would mean that barbarians would need a rework for that system. Double handed weapons would fall off the meta even more than they already have (low swing speed = easy to block)
I like the party system how it is now it’s typically sometimes hard to block but is rewarding if you get it
They should make invis pots scale based on knowledge percentage. IE whites at 25% Greens at 50% blue at 100% and purple at 150% so fighters and barbs have to use perfect timing or a high value pot
or, just remove them and make them only remove pve agro and boss agro
Tie cosmetics behind reputation with traders and make multiple different quests to earn reputation with each trader.

Gold gear isnt even BIS, it was just a means to craft oranges.
It’s functional BiS. nobody has the time or money to build a full BiS unique set in this game outside of 1-2 pieces.
With gold gear you also get all the random attribute modifiers you could ever want from 4 rolls. 5 roll bis would just be getting a defensive stat on top of all your offensive ones
No, its most certainly not BIS. the problem is their choice in gold gear. There isnt even a bard head.
Heavy boots and padded tunic are S tier, as is the rogue/ranger mask.
Reinforced gloves and heavy leather pants are B tier. Most of the golden plate is worthless.
Brave Hunter pants are the best pants in the game hands down. Rubysilver doublet is also really strong.
Everything else (ie all the vigor pieces) are good, but not BIS. The cape is obviously BIS though.

That’s building out a new portion of the game catered to the 10% rather than focusing on beneficial additions such as actually building out Druid class. There shouldn’t be pressure in a regular match where you cannot bring in gear and no ap is gain or loss. PVP is also part of the game and learning process, I feel like removing it would hinder people learning the whole aspect of the game

Anyone can learn a mob attack pattern. And pvp goes way deeper than a skill thing. Also teaches you what’s important to build on your characters and how to play as a team
If you quit the game that fast an offline mode won’t help that. There’s a learning curve definitely but you cant expect anyone and everyone to play games of this nature.

now with the new gear cap it dont happen. but i lose many friend that could have loved this game that will no longer even try it because of that. starting and get unfair matchup while they try to learn basic stuff like how to not get killed by wolves.

If you read the post you’d see that my reasoning behind adding such an addition to the game would expand the player base exponentially allowing for more testing and better funds. One of the biggest player complaints right now is the lack of players in the game and with adding something that “caters” to your casual gamer you would be making more of positive rather than a negative impact on the game. Not everyone has access to endless time on the game due to reasons such as kids, wife, Job, and etc. realize that for some people playing a game for 3 hours and dying to trial and error isn’t the most fun thing in the world lol and just telling them. Again the main point though is building the player base and as the game stands right now we aren’t getting any new players

A new class might bring a group of players for a small portion of time but the experience is still the same. I am not saying it’s going to be easy but the game is still in testing so these changes are part of building the game. The point is to allow players to experience the game for what it is before getting spawned rushed by players or never getting out due to the circle closing in and getting them sandwiched

The arena mode needs to be put together in a way. When you queue up you can somehow pick a setup the devs have put together for each class. I think if you make it so that people can bring in gear it's going to be the same issue as in Hr if you don't bring in enough gear, you're going to lose arena mode only works when you have the same gear across the board

An armory room filled with white only gear, then in the actual arena area are higher quality gear to fight for. Be like finding a Spartan laser or rockets in halo

I would love a shared stash across characters, like to be able to share looted quest items or some gear that would be good on one of your characters but not the one you are currently playing, it just makes sense to me for questing especially since if I want to play a different character and I find a really rare quest item it's pointless not because it won't be looted if I give it to my other character that I'm mainly questing on. It wouldn't be like all of the stash is shared just like an internal trade stash for your characters or something could even be as small as the old trade window or something.

I think we should add more variety and class identity to rogue, one way of doing so would be a Poison Utility wheel where you get more Value out of your Q/E as you can see below
Rogue Poison Wheel
- Wound Poison - Reduces active and incoming healing by 50%
- Mindeater Poison - On - Hit applies disoriented effect and reduces action speed by -10%
- Venomous Poison - Deal 20 Magical Damage on hit over 5 seconds, scales with Magical Power/ add magic/ true magic.
- Ice Veins Poison - 25% slow for 4 seconds upon hit
- Atrophy Poison - Reduce targets physical power by 30 % for 5 seconds
- Corrosive Poison - Replaces Weakpoint
Of course these aren’t perfectly balanced but they increase the value a rogue brings in team play and increases viability in solo without being too oppressive
How to deal with invis?
- Shadowmeld - Not true invis, similar to active camo in Halo. Can only move in areas of Darkness. must stealth in an area of active darkness, thrown Torches , lanterns and Magical Light break Shadowmeld. Shadowmeld lasts for 25 seconds with a 30 second cooldown.
- Perks: Flame Thief - When activating Shadowmeld near active torches they immediately are put out by a magical gust of wind and you gain access to Shadowmeld
- Perks: Shadow Vault - While in Shadowmeld you may target an area of Darkness to teleport to, the range is limited to range of sight or perhaps a unit of distance for balance reasons each activation decreases the total time of Shadowmeld by 5 seconds.
Option 2: Combat Spec
- Duelist Mastery - Rogues can equip Arming Swords & Maces in their Main Hand with a bonus to Action Speed & Damage to Main hand. Cannot use Shadowmeld
- Duel Wielding - Incentive to use and offhand, Fighters have this already.
- Finesse - Ability to block with two weapons
- Active Ability - Deadly Thrust - Your next main hand attack inflicts bleeding dealing 5 damage over 10 seconds.

I got an idea for HR balancing in lobbys so nakeds don’t get in the same dungeon as giga kitted teams :
For each rarity of items add an IP (item power) level and make so people with same IP are matched together instead of just being ranked based. This simple change would already balance the lobbys by a lot and also permit people with lesser gear to enjoy the game, and would also solve the problem of people runing named weapons being bothered by nakeds smoke pot rogues .
As a balance for the leaderboard i’d suggest kills give more ap than they does so people would actually be more inclined to pvp instead of just pve and bossing. This change could also separate the players that are really there to pvp from those who just enjoy pve and kills boss for actual loot and not as just a task to win more ap

up until lately colored names have just been a cosmetic. you make your friends downvote or upvote you but don't worry i've taken notice. however i must say there should be a way in game to report this kind of behaviour on the report panel.

Wdym? Poison wheel removes the need for rupture and weakpoint as actual skills while current perks related to stealth would be removed as it doesn’t work with shadowmeld. Remove hand crossbow mastery, remove creep and perhaps make silent steps an active ability to use with combat spec since you cannot use shadowmeld. Idk it seems much better than what we have now. Rogue as of now can either Landmine or Hand crossbow build which is just as cringe as Landmine

It cannot function as a pve game
There are plenty of great dungeon crawlers that are pve only out there right now. This takes away from the core identity of what the game is and makes it stale and repetitive.
I’ve been told that before lol it could just be an offline mode like Tarkov has where people could have time to learn without needing to fight players (nothing saves in offline mode in Tarkov in case you aren’t familiar with it)
Maybe for you but a bunch of players actually still struggle with the PVE and a ton of players left because while they were learning they got stomped by experienced players

Pve has to be balanced in tarkov around guns, here it does not. It is slower and less lethal
To be fair I’d say that the PVE in Tarkov is much easier than the ones in Dark and Darker depending on what class you play
You don’t have to worry about armor/hp getting in the way with most bots because you could just pop them in the face with any bullet and it’ll likely drop them instantly but in this game you have to learn attack patterns and make sure you have the right move speed in order to dodge their hits. That idea is only if there is just one but if there are multiple enemies it’s a completely different story especially if it’s a new player
The way most people clear hell is they cheese most every mob, bypassing all patterns anyway

Because even now people have been queueing exclusively normals for 90 days, and getting comparatively no rewards. The patch that added lowroller rankings made peak hours NA hr lobbies the emptiest I'd seen.
With the low population on this game any such dilution is significant and there isn't any other trio lobbies to queue at this time, and they still do not fill with players.

I recommend that you make it possible to change the region again, in my region (Brazil) there have not been full lobbies for weeks, and before this change they were almost always full (with people from the United States too but it does not bother at all) . In more than 20 trio games I have not met people who are not defaulted, and there are almost always two or three people per lobby, do something.

MMR matching works really well. In this below average bracket the few games I have played we wiped full gold teams consistently with like mid blue gear.

Let us see damage dealt to players + make it clear to identify if a player is carrying Epic/Legendary gear, is really tiring to not know what are your ods in a fight just randomly dying to a guy you thought you were having a close fight just to realize he had full legendary gear set and you barely even did any damage, could let us choose our fight wisely and spare frustration.

Damage has 0 random to it. You should understand how much your weapons do, if not approximately along with other people's health and ttk. You learn this from clips, seeing how you hit, how much for, and seeing the health people/you lived at.
But you can not really tell how much exactly health or PDR the opponent has, a small improve in their health or PDr can mean that they could need 1 extra hit to die
This is something you can distinguish by being able to tell what gear they were, whether in pregame or by looking at them.
But wouldnt you consider this might be a bit not begginer friendly? it could just be simplified by showing damage or health of players

I still think even if you count your damage, try to guess what aprox PDR your opponent has, looking at each specific gear piece to approximate their vigor basing yourself with the class their playing and their base vigor stat and then with a lot of precision identify which tier each of his gear piece is to approximate how many hits you would need to deal to that player or if you stand a chance against that particular class... I mean I guess if you play this game everyday a lot of hours you do not see any problems with that, but for many people who can not play this game that often and can not reach that level of experience can get frustrated due not being able to identify their odds in a fight as for me is what happens most of the time I just get killed by players that overgear me by a incredible ammount of wealth in their kits and is off puting for me to even fight players when I go blind in a fight not knowing which are my ods, while in Normals is usually more fun as you do not get those players with ridiculous stats that just push you and M1 and win.
You dont need to do anywhere near super precise calculations, if you choose not to. You need to
- Hit a dummy on the head
- Play every class in the game
Thus you will know how low people are. You can kill overgeared players who do not know what they are doing by playing smart, especially on characters like fighter with shield and longsword if they engage you in melee.

Don't necessarily think showing damage numbers is a 'beginner friendly' mechanic, just takes a lot of the guess work out of fighting. You can KIND of estimate what someone is wearing to a mid-high degree of accuracy but having damage numbers would just make it entirely obvious if you're outmatched or not.
I'm aware most people don't like the idea but I wouldn't mind some kind of mechanic that shows damage to players in the game, even if not damage numbers.
I think a post death damage screen is solid, and I think the death cam helps a lot with this
Post damage screen wouldn't really fix the 'have no idea if who I'm going up against is 85% PDR' problem, but it would definitely help people learn from their deaths and decrease the inaccuracy of estimations

been havin fun in norms, pushing pvp. love having that even playing field, fights are longer and dont feel one sided. but in high roller with the gear difference and even with just how strong classes are allowed to get , makes the ttk way too fast. I really feel like it should be the other way around.. if youre weaker/not geared you should die faster in a fight, if you're kitted out even against another player those fights should be longer bc theres more on the line. I think we get too many damage buffs with better gear and more stats and not enough defensive things.. innate hp and resistance on stuff (imo) Also, havnt been playing as much as I used to so may be a lil out of touch

Please limit the number of blues purples and legendaries you can bring into a raid per character. Otherwise the gear gap is too wide. Throwing axes should be removed from the game and make horseman and hatchet throwable for Barb only. Make a new skill or perk for it and make the animation reasonably long. Also make normal lobbies more profitable but don’t drop gear above common. Otherwise winning pvp is a net neutral gold wise at best. Also add a perk for fighter that makes two handed weapons actually viable. Like a movement speed buff if you wear plate and no shield in both weapon slots. Smoke pot should have a cool down of 120 seconds per charge maybe more. Gold gear looks ugly. Also I loved the new map the challenging mobs actually makes me feel like crawling through a dungeon instead of a theme park. I love this game and appreciate the work you guys put into it. I can’t wait for the next update fuck NEXON love you guys. Also forgot to say I don’t play a lot of magical classes so idk how these will effect them

i suppose that could be a slight issue but i dont think its just a straight up win 100% of the time and it allows for a simplifed build system for people learning the game as alot dont know what stats are best so letting them play around with greens which have 1 additonal stat roll
minus the copper light which has that 1% ms bonus, but it also makes that have a use as if im not mistaken no one would run that with decent-bis as its just outclassed by higher rarities
i also think this would let people who either dont have as much time or want to get into a raid quick would let them build up a decent (green kit) with like no investment/minimal investment due to green gear only having one roll means it will be cheap even if in demand
The whole point of norms is that only allowing whites takes away any variability from what you can’t see. There are no random rolls, so you always have almost all the info on whether or not you should take a fight or not. Because of this, greens should never be added, and tbh you shouldn’t even be able to get them imo if norms is going to be the primary skill based ranked PvP mode

IDEA! Wandering boss in the crypts. Only spawns if you activate the rights things, like levers or puzzles, which could be spread around the map.. Which means for one person to spawn the boss it would be pretty hard but if multiple players in the dungeon want the boss to be spawned they could each do one of the steps, probably the closest to their spawn and hope other players do the same! Also have the boss either be able to open doors, or phase through them like a ghost, so he can wander and look for players.. also maybe have a special condition for breaking its aggro since it can follow thru rooms....
Remove torture mastery double spell cost, its better at most gear levels to use health potions and just not bring the perk due to the downside. The 0.15 scaling makes the healing very tame compared to what it used to be.

Think Magic Lock should be changed in the following ways:
- Duration reduced to 12. Charges reduced to 6. (Its too long vs people who have no door break)
- Door takes 1 extra hit to break while affected by Magic Lock (makes it more consistently useful vs all classes)
- Range high enough that you might cast it on a door in front of an enemy that's running away from you to trap them.
I believe that without changes along these lines the spell will be too annoying for those it works full duration against, and too useless against those who can break doors instantly. That will probably mean the spell isn't picked over other options except to troll/grief.
We need Faster animations/combat/movement, longer/slower TTK and in game time. what i mean is more connected animations, faster combat(in animations) and movement, less damage and TTK is longer and a longer in game time so fights don't feel forced in the test server

ive been saying this for a while some of the wall spikes are just placed sadistically with no rhyme or reason and not even marked on the map. no one wants to have to remember the location of 150 wall spikes.

When switching to a new instrument and pressing right click, if an appropriate song for that instrument is not selected, it could auto select the highest in the spell list by default.
this would mean you never switch to an instrument and delay on song switching.
for example, I only run 1 flute and Lute song, so seems silly to have to manually select it when switching to those instruments.

It would be a buff though. If you only have Shriek of weakness, you would no longer need to pull out your flute and pick the song, you would just immediatly play. It's balanced this way so that if you rush and panic, you are bound to mess up, but if you keep a cool head you will be fine

There is no pressure, it's a rhythm mini game. The pressure can come from a multitude of things, but if you are mid combat trying to play shreik for yourself or your team and you fumble the ball because you instead accidentally picked Tranquility... suddenly you have wasted precious seconds because you messed up and panicked; possibly having your frontline killed and now their bard or cleric or wizard has just buffed their team further while you are still in the middle of your song. Even if you only have one song, it doesn't take long to prepare songs literally press whatever Ability button you have chosen and flick your mouse.
Bard is one of the best solo classes anyway, so to give them perfect optimization for placing their spells in specific orders will only exemplify that

fighter is a better barb ranger and rogue. fighter needs a nerf. Warlock needs a spell cap late game they are immortal. hydra triggers traps and they can heal to full off it? Bards need a song cap. they can spam dmg'ing spell and nerf religiously without consequence? but rogue cant have a working smoke bomb?
only allow max of 4 franys per round at start and 4 knives

They're already bringing a feature to limit them along with the quiver system. They originally said this wipe but who knows now, haven't heard anything of it as of recent.
Breakthough should get a movespeed buff, whether its a % bonus or a 20 flat additional move speed. Make it a viable perk to rival Sprint, it would be more reliable with its shorter cooldown but less speed than Sprint. Right now its just a "get out of a trap" skill that is rarely used

Would it be an idea to have a 9th Character slot available in Character selection that is considered a "Hardcore mode" that when it dies it is instantly deleted. I think this is necessary because I'd like to play all possible characters but with the addition to quests I want all 8 slots saved. With an extra hardcore slot it allows us to try all characters and also have some fun trying the game in hardcore mode without deleting invested in characters
Can the ranger get the "whistling arrow" perk to attract all mobs in range to the arrow?
It would be an ability, or even a arrow type. I think ability would be better to give the ranger more utility.

It's not the arrow, it's the whistle, you program a whistle, that attaches to an arrow.

yeah but you would need the enetity for the mobs to get that interaction with the whistle as im assuming the way it would work is a set area around the arrow which is the "whilste" and from that it causes the Mobs to aggro towards it at which point when the arrow hits something the whistle stops which would cause the ai the lost aggro

Its time to address the real issue in this game MOVESPEED why a barb whos bulky as f is faster than a rouge? This is something i witnessed and its ridiculous level the playing field and make base movespeed the same for everyone and remove movespeed all together and make it weight based for A. Realism B. Better gameplay and C. Adds other opportunity for more spells and unique items that could add benefits such as move speed

Then they would also need to add GC, cause the GC players will be mad they're left out. Then everyone will demand solos, duos, and trios for each map. Then players will complain about dead lobbies, so IM adds map rotation. Then everyone complains about having to wait for their map, so IM removes map rotation and moves everybody into crypts solos, duos, and trios. (the most complete and fleshed out map experience) And on and on it goes... — Unfortunately there isn't enough players to have it all, especially if arena comes out, where a chunk of players will be queuing for that most of the time.
IM saw that it would become a problem once arena is out, so they cut the two extra maps to set up for it.

If they would remove dead circle it would be better but it take.like 5min to clear 1 room while we get pushed by the circle and force to sprint trough mobs untill we get either surrounded or ambushed by players. Craftable gear should be perk changing, or giving unique gameplay changing or build defining traits. It should not just be just stat checking gear. Immagine a craftable rogue cowl that enables permanent chameleon effect as long as you stay still but cant move and no stealth bonuses.

I guess a shove mechanic has been suggested at least a couple of times here. Generally, my thoughts on application goes along the lines of tying shove distance to strength and not making it anything like a stun but a sway/shifting mechanic that alters facing just a little being pushed back so there's still a chance a swing or shot will hit and may allow a window for course correction. This could also give rise to item traits that can increase shove distance and/or sway. Ultimately, it allows a person some room to maneuver or gain some room, which also can introduce some subtly in melee reach.
Maybe a very short stun/interrupt if shoved into a wall

A. you added test servers for TESTING but forced everyone to go through the worst update in the world just so you can TEST something that you could of TESTED on the TEST SERVER.
B. Why did you only set it to crypts and then to hell, there's obvious issues that anyone can see based off of HAVING A BRAIN.
i. Since you did this after wipe, half of the people in the game used all their gear and half of the people have full gold on. Duos and trios now is just a gear measuring competition.
ii. Solos, now that it's only a 5x5 map, with easy hiding areas as well as doors so you can't run away, is now just a third party off! Who can wait long enough till one person gets low? THIS GUY AND HE WINS! This is why people are maxing out rogue right now.
C. Why did you unlock gold gear for everyone, this is the most absurd thing in my opinion as it's simply benefitting people who have more money or randomly stockpiled one type of item (gold). Do you know what would fix this, RESETING EVEN FOR A TINY BIT, as it doesn't matter because ranking is over! You know what, maybe resetting on the TEST SERVER should of been brought to the real one!
D. If you set a presedent with past playtests and wipes that, wipe happens when ranking is over, then I think you should tell people MORE THEN A WEEK BEFORE IT WIPES that it's not a presedent! Crazy, right?

lmao, I'm having a stroke reading this, what "statement" are you making about normals ? I'm just trying to understand what it has to do with my original point, which is that gold gear is bad for the game, and by "the game" I'm talking about HR.
What I'm saying is that getting THE BEST gear not "good gear" is mostly not about looting but about doing a quest chain and then mining gold. Not only is it legendary gear, but you can just wait for a bis roll on it and craft it whenever, just by farming a few gold ores, instead of getting normal legendary gear which is actually rare and is way harder to get bis on.
the point of golden gear is an endgame gameplay, which should be obtained by playing the game not like once a week. Devs fucked up with quests cuz they can be done in a few days, which shouldn't be obtainable like that, the good thing that they will add chapters of quests, this will fix this problem, tho legendaries (not talking about capes, but the rest) with good rolls would be better due to +1 base stat from golden gear, there is no need to delete golden gear, but to make it harder to make

I would suggest reducing the mob density for depending on Solo/Duo/Trio, I sometimes get very unlucky spawns in inferno having me traveling with barely any chance for looting and the end area is surrounded by mobs and I have no time to clear them inorder to get that portal opened..

I think that after items are sold on the Marketplace and are waiting for gold to be retrieved that there shouldnt be a freaking expiration time for that gold! I sold 3 stacks of Gold Ignots a couple of weeks ago on my alt and forgot about them. The system "DESTROYED" more than 3k Gold while i was busy playing my other characters. It's messed up to destroy my time/effort in the game just cus I didnt pick up the gold. This game already has enough copium in it....

Give rangers a way to reliably scout invisible rogues, or buff their tracking perk. If you take it, by the time you see where they are it's too late. Rogues are inevitably going to be buffed when wipe happens and it's going to make ranger unplayable in solo

id prefer a more dnd like system where you can split your levels.., that way leveling can give more bonuses past lvl 15, especially if you give stat bonuses per level or smth

Multiclassing shouldn't exist, however subclassing when you level up your character further is cool. Retains class identity while allowing players to further customize their class with improved perks/skills.
Make a rotation for duos and trios for the crypt & ice carvens map so the majority of the players will be able to enjoy both maps. Even the bosses in hell can be beat by 2 players with ease so the map is balanced for 2 players aswell.
The rotation can be 15 min.
The idea allow the majority of the player base experience the game at it fullest.

Fighters current sprint is clearly exetremly strong and needs a rework right? What if instead of just a flat 50ms move speed add. It removes the movespeed pentaly while holding your weapon so like a example is if your holding a falchion and heater shield its -40 ms, And then when you enable sprint it removes that ms penalty currently while your holding out the weapon. Yes this will technically buff slayer fighters more then plate but you will require a pricy kit to get that high ms for slayer
I think is currently strong due the map we are forced to play has mostly tiny rooms that they can close distance very quickly, sprint is only useful if they already got way too close to you, I am mainly playing ranger and if I can get a couple shots to a slayer fighter pushing me with sprint is suicidal as they will have to survive me quick shot and spread shot and I think with many other ranged classes is the same thing as soon as you get a couple hits on them they will not rush you unless they got way too close, not even need to mention PDR fighter as they can not catch you even using sprint if you have invested in move speed and have a good escape route planned to gain distance, you are pretty screwed as a caster or ranger if you get pushed by a slayer or PDR in a dead end or room that you have closed doors unless you are really good at aim and do not miss a hit and hit the head if possible but even then in a room you can not get distance from the fighter your odds of survival are pretty low.
Make it a higher level req. can’t get sprint unless lvl 15 or smth

thats the thing even with PDR fighter 50 additional movespeed is way to much against melee classes it makes them have to either bait out sprint and with the small rooms it does not help at all and when it was ruins it was manageable sort of.. He already has access to all range weapons and ruins is a extremely open map so even if you did run away you were half hp or lucky enough to dodge 1 arrow and still be dropped by a quarter of ur hp i talk for most squishy classes aka wizard,rogue,warlock. I understand it makes plate fighter harder ofc but if you have 60% PDR and all base stats and you can just close the gap on a squishy almost instantly, Even at mid to lower ranges it does not feel fun and don't even start me on slayer fighter it is just borderline OP how strong sprint is on slayer. You will always be hitting movespeed cap with slayer sprint and being the highest dps its really just not balanced at all you will outrun all classes The only real counterplay is just not to engage and just poke and run and hope he gets low enough before you hit a dead end running across the map trying to poke
and thats if slayer fighter doesn't catch up with you with insantly ...
oh and he also has a crossbow or windlass so prepare to be chunked for half ur hp running away or at him OR if you dodge the arrow your reward is death now

On some of the other things in this interview, I'm actually excited to see what the quests and multiclass system are like. I think the game needs more spaced out long term content/progression. If not for the queue problem being reintroduced I'd be quite excited for the patch overall.

Even a checkbox next to character creation like diablo has to designate HC mode, one life.
If when creating character we can check PVE box, then my squad will still be connected online, all the anti-cheat etc. marketplace, trades etc. but we only trade to other PVE characters.
Weather my squad sees other characters in the lobby or not is up to the dev.
I think any PVP-less solution should still be online connected. offline would allow for cheaters I think. as it relys on a save file locally, and that can be backed up and replaced, so dupes would be easy.

I think they can work well in tandem. For example if you make it only "looted" gear in arena.
To do better in arena, you need to find more gear, so you dungeon delve to build a better set.
And maybe arena will award you tokens to buy good PvE gear (+20% dmg against X, -5% damage taken against X).
That way you can go back and forth, and gives more of a reason to do each.

That's kind of the point of the game, it's not really supposed to be fair. - The end of the season is chalk full of gold kits though, so if you're not full-gold you have to heavily outplay them for the most part

It's better to just create a small training area. If you want to create a completely offline dark and darker you need to include the systems the server uses to spawn items portals and enemies and controls them into the client and remove all kinds of multiplayer related things. It's a nightmare plus it can give exploiters insight into how your systems work that you may not want to give. They have enough on their plate as it is

The few times i have they haven't kicked the trolls. We need Mods that are in tavern tables more often as a discouragement to trolls or to be around when they join. When a mod joins after the trolls just stop until they leave since they only stick around for a few minutes.

This is the main problem. GAMES SHOULD be fair and be a form of recreation, relaxation. Any game, that isn't single player and, especially, the ones that add PvP aspect in it should have at least some form of balance, because people have a natural inclination of META everything. We will want to spend as less energy possible in achieving the most result. If your "balance" is looking as some deranged and twisted as Picasso's art - your game is not fun anymore, and as such - not recreational or relaxing. It is either becoming a futile excercise in fighting agains META or becoming the META yourself just for the goal of wining.
The most difficult part of a unique item won't be getting them. It'll be trying not to have a heart attack and overdose on adrenaline when you go and use it lol....
Gold gear isn't even really better than non-Gold equivalent (with the exception of a +3 All gold cloak). Otherwise they are arguably worse in regards to BIS PVP gear since the main benefit is Luck. Luck is great for increasing AP, but doesn't make you more competitive in PVP combat.
The part that still stands is almost all the best gear is crafted from the ruby silver doublet to grimsmile rings and the demon grip gloves(although not really anymore after warlock got gutted like a fish) tri pelt like it’s all crafted and it’s kinda a problem
I completely agree. It seems like making the stats "unknown" until you craft it will solve this issue. Gold gear, inherently, is not the problem. It's being able to wait for the perfect BIS roll and then crafting it.

Day 2 of pointing out the Blacksmith Launcher having issues launching. Many times force closing it via task manager is required to get the launcher to open. If this happens to the average consumer they will think the game simply does not work.

Of course the game should try to be fair, but what is fair? If I spent a lot more time grinding PvE than my opponent, is it fair to give me an advantage to reward my efforts? — That's the point, the game is meant to reward you with advantages through gear, and progression systems.
The only other game that I can think of that has a gear system like DaD and is PvPvE is League of Legends. — They have similar balancing issues, and you have hard counters in lanes, with some champions completely nullifying how yours works.
The reason LoL works is because there are 5 team members, who fill the balance gaps. If the game was a 1v1, certain champions would never be played and only a few champions would be viable. — That's why DaD has to focus on 3v3 and not 1v1 balance. You can't balance all team sizes at once.
Also, I don't believe games HAVE to be relaxing, take Warzone, or League of Legends for example, they're rather stressful. — What they'll typically do is add a more relaxing mode or mini-game on the side to relax with. (TFT in LoL for example).
I genuinely wouldn't ever bring it out and just use it for money storage personally if it was at that rarity lol

Can do a full out Tavern experience with board and card games, bet on duels (arena rafters?), chat at the bar, work on crafting at an anvil (weapon crafting mini-game) where you smack a hammer to shape a weapon. If you fck it up, it will keep it's curve. If it hits you while you swing you take damage because you curved it too much. That would be hilarious

Have this different arenas where you see arena contestants fight each other! Holy smoke! As for gambling, it should be fair and not exploitable! Alright alright hear me out. Druids get the best spell in all of Dungeons and Dragons, Sticks to Snakes. Any arrows lying around immediately turn into snakes that attack enemies for 10 seconds that deal poison damage that stacks

Incorrect. Every game of LoL starts with you absolutely EQUAL. You have no equipment, even your runes now are free and you can have as much of a leveled field as it is only possible. "Counters" exist, yes, that is why there is draft, where you can see what your opponent pick as a champion so you can either adapt your pick or strategy. In DaD you are NEVER equal. You are not only enter the game with no idea of who you are against, and, if you aren't metaslave, you can start with weak class VS full barb lobby, but you are not even start equal in your gear. I barely have time to play, so no, I DON'T ever have more gear than my opponents. — If I'm completely outmatched (gold gear) I simply avoid or run, It's not very hard to avoid fights in this game.
You're trying to suggest that the game should be PvE only, with no gear imbalance. — That is what **Normal Mode **is for my friend.
As for your point on similarities between DaD and LoL, the whole point of LoL is to become stronger than your opponent through levels and gear. You typically do this through being better at PvE, and farming more mobs. — Then you kill people who are less geared than you and continue snowballing. — The reason this is fun is because you can snowball as well. The other reason is that you're facing other players that are similarily skilled. Proof? I'm a Challenger player in League and when I play an alt account or play normals, I completely stomp the lobby, and everyone on their team AFKs or quits the game. It's the skill-gap that is the greatest issue typically.
The adventure ranks are meant to separate players based on overall loot, gear, and skill.

They've removed solo and duo because they became the main game experience, and they realized it was impossible to balance, so they returned to a Playtest 3 setup (only crypts)

Literally all they have to do is follow Marauders' lead and implement actually random maps and they can very easily do this. Instead they've actively removed content from players which is a serious faux pas newbie devs make.
I have predicted that they will add a random queue, also, removing GC and Ice map doesn't bother me, since I like all the maps and I don't need to switch between all the time. — I'm fine with them polishing them and focusing on each before bringing them back in a coherent way.

So reading the patch notes is always fun to read, but when it comes to things like new skills, perks, spells, songs, etc. it would be most beneficial to maybe describe what that new skills, perks, spells, songs, etc. does instead of trying to guess while we wait for the update to finish. Maybe in the future as IM grows we could even have maybe a high prod video with some highlights of update. Kinda like what Riot Games does when they make a "Champion Spotlight" video. In their videos they show what the new character does and what their abilities do & look. I would be willing to make these videos for IM if they'd like.

I think they should do map rotations. It should be one map where u can play solo/duo/trio like they did with crypt at the end of wipe. Then they should have it switch between maps every 5 min. That way u can play any map with any team size, all u have to do is wait for the map to rotate. Instead of it being a random map with a random fixed team size.

And that is the most stupid thing to fight the unknown enemy with no clear way to gauge your chances. 3. if I try to fight someone - I lose the much needed resources to survive with no guarantee of replenishing those, and that means that the next goblin I see will destroy ALL my efforts at extracting. 4. I DO NOT NEED to fight to win the game, since the goal, just like in LoL, is not the fight itself, but extraction.

when arena will come? it could be like a weekly championship in a map without minimap and mobs, very high loot, only 3 exits per map, permadeath (in the championship). You are allowed to quit the championship and claim your rewards acquired or choose to proceed until the very winner or team winner

Map rotations with the 30 minute queues was significantly better than locking them to one map. So was the later version when it was locked by there was also a rotation, but that solution was just stupid and obfuscated and I don't want to go back to it. It also made it so there were more queues, which wasn't good.

This is what I've been saying non-stop. There's literally no reason they shouldn't have a full random queue. You pick solo, you don't know what map you're going into, period. Easy. You get match-made properly, you get a full lobby, you can't do any nonsense meta-preperations. Just do a dungeon.

I think people are gonna want to chose what map they play thats why I was saying have it as one map at a time that rotates to something else every so often. I think randoms would be much less evil. But to devil's advocate against myself, I've also said before that if they do a quickplay random queue that would be help. So if they do full selection, and then 3 random queues with a bonus xp or ap for playing on them - those would not be seperate queues, they could feed into the selection queues as needed

Also what's even the point of farming gear then, other than to do harder PvE content. The only thing I agree with is that there needs to be clearer indications of gear quality.
My whole point is that CLASSES should be somewhat balanced (there's still going to be counters), but gear should not be equal, period. Otherwise it defeats the purpose of the whole game.

You make a great point bringing up marauders but i beleieve there's more to it than that. different maps have different bosses, ai, and loot rooms in dnd. Maybe you only like fighting goblins or maybe you like fighting skeletons. I think its why its so hard to make a map system that works
Balancing is a nightmare with group sizes being different. Now that it is locked, maps can be balanced for the amount of players they intended for the map. You can queue for any map you want, you just may be at a disadvantage or might need to lower or up the number of players you are with for that map. Not a huge deal.
Yeah the map and boss design could actually be made for team sizes rather than making enough space for everyone
Exactly my thoughts. The game was balanced around trios and then they added solo and duos. I'm happy to have it, as long as we can get a functioning matchmaking and a proper community to run the game with.

You are forgetting that it is not a shooter. Most classes don't even have a reliable way to play the ranged game. I can see your point, but you can't bring a shitty gear and shoot someone in the head from safe distance like in Tarkov. Not if you aren't ranger at least... This game is more about close to mid range fights, so when you are pitting default fighter vs ruby-silver barbarian who will have clear advantage? Exactly.

Oh, I don't disagree for the most part. IMO that is what they have done with normals and highroller. Though you could probably afford to add green to the normals IMO. Beyond that though I think highroller is just something players have to figure out. It's better to leave it with blue and up. And if we want to have random matchmaking, we have to add in a way to cycle out team killers and such, so that would be done by karma system.
Kinda, yeah. I'd also prefer to have fragmentation of gray-white, green-blue, purple and all above, but so far even the fragmentation we have now is already better, than that chaos before.
We already have a problem with lobby sizes, so fragmenting is painful to that end.
If we do too much, you will see other players less, which just becomes problematic. If we had a huge player base, I could see it working though. Just doesn't work in these lower populations.

So indeed, you said that gear should be** equalized through "weight categories"**, meaning that you can never gain an advantage in PvP through gear. — In that case, you are simply greifing eachother in the game if you decide to fight, since neither of you have major upgrades for each other, and so you end up teaming for PvE, and PvP ceases to exist. At that point, you simply separate them to avoid the incoherence of objectives. — AP ranking system is already grouping high-geared players with other high-geared players, while keeping a certain variance.

Please go watch any professional match of LoL and tell me that level and gold is not the primary winning factor. Yes, just like in DaD, you can "rat" as an alternative way to win, that doesn't mean that 90% of the game don't come down to snowballing, just like in LoL. — You're fighting for the EXCEPTION, not the rule. — I think you'll find that LoL is more similar to DaD than any other game. Some will say Tarkov or Hunt Showdown, but those games do not have game-changing power put into a gear system. — DaD is LoL with extraction, in a fundamentals sense.

This completely depends on what the matchup is, but in many ways, you can avoid stat checks through other means. Outplaying movement for pot-shots, throwables, out-maneuving with parkour, door work (advantageous swing positions), footwork/dodging, using minion agro switches, traps, etc. — If you think the game is mostly stat checking, you're simply not good enough at the game yet to avoid pure melee brawls, or not able to make space with better movement. — Also, Barb has way higher strength and vigor.
A well played fighter will typically win this fight when both are geared.
