okay i shouldve been more clear and direct from the start, magic damage can scale while the resistance for the most part can not. that means that casters can just obliterate anyone with no effort at all in good gear even if the other person has as good or better gear
That's not a reason. That's an abstraction i just deconstructed. And I dont think high gear lobbies are particularly unbalanced. Maybe that's because I play a lot of warlock and wizard, but maybe not. The reality is most classes in high gear can obliterate each other very quickly. And if you think it takes no effort to play wizard I invite you to go and try it.

Yes. I think you are just as guilty of negative bias toward the things that kill you. The reality is casters die to themselves, rangers, and often anyone who can buff or heal through what they're doing, and most classes with a crossbow have a decent chance.

Lizards not being able to wear helmets acts as both the negative of the race as well as a solution to the problem of them having weird heads that would otherwise require different helmet models
while they could make new models for them, or they could have made their head more humanoid, the former would take time better spent elsewhere and the latter would make them look really dumb
The head slot is one of the main slots for magic damage. This makes lizards worthless to me as a caster. Even with the improvement of their head armour, the way they are designed completely disincentivizes me to use them.
They shouldn't be in the game at all unless they want to put the graphical work into making helmets for them, if you ask me. But I'd rather they just had invisible helmets than they had special armor and head protection.
This is an instance of "You made your own problem" so back-justifying the design with the addition of the lizards is just really silly. If you've noticed, their feet aren't humanoid either, but they force them into shoes.
The skins are there to make money long term, if they have to make entirely new models for every helm for them they wouldn't be worth releasing. I think its fine having them just be slightly pay to lose, its far better than the alternative and people still enjoy lizards a lot
We should do the wizardening again. Imagine like 9 naked wizards all holding W key with invis + magic missile on the full gold juicers. What can they even do?
Wizard Meta Game
When a player swings a sword at a wall there is collision. When a mob swings, they swing through anything in the way. I've seen it with doors, walls, bookshelves, bars on the cell type rooms, and other things that normally stop a players attack. Please make it where they dont swing through static enviroment objects atleast. I understand the door may be a little harder cause they move and are breakable but they other examples shouldn't be happening.

remove all the stupid bone piles in inferno and crypts so when you fight the longswords/axemen you dont get cucked because every square inch of ground has some random pixel bump from the bones causing you to get hit even if you dodge perfectly. It makes for a shit feeling game and AI
at the end of the day gear matters a lot in HR, full gold armor rolls bis purples. to have gold gear gated by items with crazy low drop rates and limited mobs is stewpid. ive done so many goblins and killed so many spiders but no fkin silk will drop dis dumb

Newbie tip. The only two classes that are any good in 1v1 in goblin caves are Wizard, and Rogue. Rogue just one shots you from no where. Wizard you can't ever get close. Don't play ANYTHING FUCKING ELSE.
wizard is actually hard for newer players because they don't realize they just win against every melee class by W key + invis + magic missiles

PDR fighters kinda suck in teams against people who know how to play the game - however they shine in solos, so it depends on what you're referring to
Solo/teams are completely diff games - for example, wizards in solo are free, but they are required almost for a competitive team
Boo on the "rotation" of map queues. They should all be opened up to multiple queues. I mainly do duos and solo, and not being able to reliably do the quests on one of the maps is a problem. The last thing I want is to continue to be forced away from crypts for most of the time, but just as equally I don't want to be losing the ruins for gold or the GC.
fighters suck in Trios, they aren't part of the meta. Cleric, Wizard, Barb/Rogue is meta
ya. balance is whatever, as in there's a lack thereof because of solo/duo/trio. my issue is the quests - i am forced to go in solos against a bunch of thirsties in normals while i try to complete quests and that's bad design. it's ridiculous. it wouldnt be half bad if i didnt have to fight people trying to get my white items for some reason im not sure what the deal is but i shouldnt have to solo in teams to complete half the quests

sorta agree there are some quests/drops that block progress a bit too much, moldy bread is one, wisps are one for sure, probably campfires and leather hats and bandages shouldnt be more than 10 either.
At least the camp fires and hats can be completed solo, breads you're hurting yourself if you don't que into teams because there's basically no mobs that drop bread in GC. The wisps I did and it sucked - i ran in naked, if i spawned far away i just quit and requed, took me like 2 days of b-lining to wisps and wolves hoping some nerds didn't try to hunt me down
The demon bats and berserkers was even worse because i had to que solo into crypts, survive the onslaught of white gear hungry nubs in normals, make it to hell, and hope for the correct mad variant and decent spawn
The most fun I've had is HRGC ranking up and getting into fights, but that only got me through so many quests
Early quests for killing regular monsters is fine, mimics is a bit slow to be a first one and need 15. Secondary quests should be about killing a wraith or a skeleton captain or something. Single cockatrice or giant worm or golem can be ok too. I don't think its necessarily that bad that if you play solo you have to go into ruins or crypts solo and get some stuff, its just the droprates are awful and some of these things are on very early quests and block you from even starting other ones.
I mostly play solo and I don't like GC, so mostly in HR ruins or crypts but a few of these drops are still rare even if you play it fairly much. And yeah wisps almost don't exist and you actually need them twice in a row if you want to level the alchemist

If they aren't on a rotation queue times will take too long especially with MMR being a factor.
3 queues for each map on HR and normals is 18 queues. That's far too many. They need to do a rotation if they're going to do anything.
Not really when you consider their mmr system sucks and should also be removed. But we've no idea if it's "far too many". We haven't actually seen that, it's pure speculation that the lobbies wouldn't fill. There's a big player base and there's very little reason to believe that that anything except the lobbies with the main problems already (the extreme high end) would have any further problems. Consider as well that each of the maps except the GC, which is extremely overtuned in terms of mobs and layout, that each map has a major draw. Hell and gold spawns are not something you can get anywhere else. GC also has some of these things, but isn't worth the hassle and they need to realize it sucks imo. I suspect a drop off in use of the GC except for quests if we did get open queues because it is just bad, especially in HR.

This is still a false equivalence. They've made their own scarcity by adding this kind of MMR. We've no idea if there are enough numbers in the populated parts of the MMR system to accomodate this. But to be clear, again, they should remove this MMR system, it's pretty bad imo. I don't want to be punished for going up in ranks, and catering to newbies by making the game terrible for the people who play it a lot is not a great idea. I also feel it's pretty strongly in opposition to the idea of the game.

Trap Mastery for Ranger should gain a secondary ability of being unable to trigger Hunting Traps.
We need a hangout lobby with minigames (like a jump maze or dice) where you can hangout, trade and talk. A chatroom of sorts. Should also have a stage for anyone who decides to be funny and go up on stage as a bard as well as a nice clearing for anyone who wants to do a drop party.

Yeah, to be fair the quests are a bit egregious. The biggest issue is that they are very time consuming, likely reset after wipes, and you have to do them for every character. Legit worse than Tarkov quests because those at least stay. The insane grind for these quests is hardly worth it unless you finish them really quickly; by the time youre done, the next wipe is approaching.
The quests are terrible and grindy. And saying "you don't need to do them" is not an excuse for them being bad.

I really want a Perfumer class or atleast it as an Artificer Subclass. Almost no games setup Perfumer, they do SO much and are SO unique in functionality and just don't get used. Bard is similar in that it almost never sees including in a game so I was really happy to see it in Dark and Darker. In addition to Perfumer I'd be awesome to see Astrologer another long forgotten class (Entire gimmick is they have a Deck of cards that they cast spells from but you cannot pick what your next spell is, you have to draw it; you don't shuffle your deck you setup your deck's order as prep and when you cast a card you put it on the bottom of your deck. During a rest you can reorder your deck, maybe could be something like Meditation for Wizard).

Wish there was a vendor that had services for magic weapon users like Crystal swords or spellbooks.
Longsword makes you extremely slow, has shitty attacks, does very low damage in comparison to other two handed weapons and even one handed weapons, the parry is extremely inconsistant whilst being borderline unusable in fights against players who can just swing at their feet and finally the parry is just straight up inconsistant in every way possible. Please buff the long sword in some way, just a tiny one.

I think a spell for warlock called transfusion would be neat being able to transfer health it would scale with magic power so you could be basically cleric and summon a hydra

Dear Dev's. Here is a recommendation for PvE balances. For instance, archers. You could make mob archers, have a chance to be interrupted if their arms are struck, and their aim interrupted if the head is struck. For instance, You shoot them in the face from 50ft, or throw a dagger in their face from 50ft, and they would then no longer aim for the head, and lets say have a 5-10 second window for reduced accuracy. This would balance it.
Same for things like the beserker. If you strike him in a weakpoint while he's attacking, lets say, you hit him in the stomach with a piercing weapon (Dagger/Rapier), then it interrupts his swings.
This would make people bring in tactical weapon choices.
Maybe things like skeletons, don't have 'weakpoints' but if they are hit by magic it slows them / reduces their damage because of interrupting their magic. Etc.
There are simply ways to make the game more complex with triggers that already exist in the game.

Make spots where quest items can spawn more commonly, E.g, ruins having more bones and moldy breads whilst crypts has more cloths. It'd make quests less tedious and fix the fact that this games direction in those quests are just 'if you find one, take it'.
Make wizard invis swap aggro instead of making the mobs wait around for you.
Why pick Fighter anymore when you can just pick Barb and run people down? Second Wind doesn't do shit in fights now unless you have 150 hp, why take that when I can go Blood Exchange on barb and heal nearly twice the health with my melees on mobs? Sprint is still the fastest ability in the game, but you can get nearly the same speed plus 15 vigor and strength with Barbs Rage ability. I'm not saying to nerf Barb I'm just saying Fighter has fallen out of the meta for me and they really should buff second wind back to 50% to balance out the melee classes. Because Barb is literally just Fighter on easy mode with no real threats to look out for. I main Barb now because of how useless Fighter has become.

My 2 main suggestions right now are to iterate and expand on the quests. Make them really interesting like my example of killing the lich and taking his ring which you put on the Knight Statue in the Ruins and The ghost of the long dead knight fights you in his old armor etc.
The other thing that is DESPERATELY needed is more randomness. Like a Loot Goblin Diablo example. Maybe a gold Wolf that has a chance to drop a piece of gold armor or 1000 gold etc.

No the difference is gold gear, particularly the 3 to all stat cloak, is timegated behind an item with a 5% drop rate and limited mobs. I don’t want to spend hours on end in the goblin caves anymore just so I can be on a level playing field with players that had better luck. Your wording in the initial comment was pretty bad, but yeah this is a good point. I would consider myself a pretty above-average player in terms of success but I won't ever be able to get a piece of gold gear because I can't be asked to put that level of grind into the game.

I think mid gear is still fine against normal purples, but 3 to all is absurd. That one item is giving an extra 18 stats compared to a regular purple cloak. Classes like cleric that benefit from literally every stat get an insane amount of value from a gold cloak it’s pretty nuts

When a looted item is merged into a handled item, it makes the looted item handled, so for example, i have 60 Gingerbread cookies in my stash right now, but only 1 stack(10) is looted and able to be turned in. Either let the items keep their status (looted/handled) after being merged, or let handled items be able to be turned in. I think i have been traded a MAX of 20 cookies, so this has a big effect.

at this point im convinced my account has been shadowbanned from bread dropping - 3 days, not 1 moldy bread. Farming archers bosses and swordsmen. Grinding this quest (in teams as a solo nonetheless) has been the worst dark and darker experience I've ever had. It's a job at this point not a game. All while 2v1ing players in white gear who for some reason really want me dead. Honestly that's probably the best part of it all because it's hilarious but still - adjust your quests.
to note - I'm on board with quests being a grind - they should be. However, we're talking about a junk level item. On top of that, you make it 4x as hard for a solo player. Gotta consider adjustments

The design is that you should do these over 3-6 months, not grind them out in a day. They should know better, but I don't mind them being a bit long. Except wolf pelts.
The ring situation is clearly out of hand, the game needs some sort of place where rings reliably drop. Giving cloaks easier drops in certain places made the prices way more bearable, and they should do the same with rings specifically as well.
Wizards and their arcane missiles are cool and nice that they have good damage, but how about spell casting in melee range will be interrupted moment someone touches wizards hand; be it a block or a shield/weapon or a melee swing. When Cleric casts a spell he extends his hand, if it hits an obstacle like wall it interrupts the cast. Same thing should be with wizards channeling spells. Something as much as touches him, be it shield or skin of another player it should be instantly interrupting the channeling. Just a suggestion
Wizards jumping at melee ranges and just channeling missiles for insta kill is just beyound ridicilous.

arcane mastery has been in the game for ages, its not an issue its just the damage is higher now. Besides that the same thing that always has been the case is still the case, which is that spellcasting speed scales really high with gear and makes missiles come out very quickly one after the other
That already happens with magic missile. Its just harder to do since the missiles constantly hitting the shield keep triggering the recovery animation and the shields hitbox disappears for a bit.

So I was using Copper, you don't wear the full thing; you only wear 1 piece of gear. Copperlight Sanctum Plate Armor was VERY good for example. +10% Move Speed, 45 Magic Resist while being plate armor.

@small furnace For Cobalt it's BiS for Armor Pen to wear Chest, Legs and Boots since you cannot roll Armor Pen on those but Cobalt has it. This allows you to go 4.5% over the maximum amount of Armor Pen normally achievable.
Idk why they do that. They should really just make it so the armor is consistent, whether that's for the better or for worse. Don't want people minmaxing the set to some crazy degree
I kind of like it since it allows gear to actually be interesting. Downsides can be used to balance things like this, so the removal of downsides just lends to power creep which scares me from a balance perspective. That said Cobalt being Rare only can be a downside in of itself, but for things like Rubysilver and anything above that's where we'll start seeing issues with game balance.

I really hate to see spectating other player's go away. One thing that really sets this game apart for me is being able to see what my killers had as far as gear and perks so i can learn and reflect. I understand it is to stop people from teaming and calling peoples locations, so maybe after you die you can get a snapshot of their character sheet or something. I think the character sheet with their health displayed at time of your death would be awesome
I get why it exists because queue snipers, but it does really suck that I now have no way to know if I was just playing terribly or if I was incredibly outmatched. Or even 'how low were they'

The reason they did it makes sense BUT a way they can solve this is add an after death report that shows the person who killed you's inventory and HP at the time of your death as well as a damage report of all the damage you took until you died.
My intent was not to say that you were saying it's meta, my intent was to make it clear that this change without any compensation is just not a good change. If they wanted to fix it, they should've increased the damage or update the animations IN ADDITION to adding the sourspots.

The halberd previously filled the small niche of 'most consistent twohanded weapon' but that niche is just gone now. It's just a worse spear now, and the spear itself is already a terrible weapon.

- Bardiche: A weapon ment for hooking enemies to pull them down or closer.
- Halberd: A weapon ment for fighting Armored foes.
What they need to do is make them good in their use cases. Bardiche could have it's hit slow be much higher than most weapons and the Halberd to have Armor Penetration. Simple as.
They're bad because they aren't useful in the way they're built for so instead of trading slow and unwieldy for those upsides they just get nothing.
They gave longswords their purpose, give Bardiche and Halberds theirs.
Zweihander could also be give a mix up where you grab the blade on the blunt spot like you're ment to do IRL which allows it to come out SIGNIFICANTLY faster than normally expected. Could be done by mixing a Left click and a Right click at certain spots of the combos.
Could be cool to see a new wizard perk: Replenish. every mob killed gives 1 tick of spell for every spell, and with every player killed gives a few ticks for every spells.
That isn't true for the bardiche though. Most bardiches do not have a hook that is capable of pulling an enemy, are you sure you are not thinking of a bill hook polearm?
Wrap all of rogues meme perks into one, stealth should be base kit especially if we only have 20 seconds in hide and should have 15 steps.
Most bardiche have an bumped in back that you flip around to use. This is true even in dark and darker; it's ment for grabbing armor. It goes under the arm or leg or if you're going overhead the lip of the armor between the helmet and chest piece.
Are you absolutely certain about this? It might be true for some variant of the Bardiche but as a total the Bardiche was meant as a chopping weapon. I'd be curious to see where you got this information about it being a hooking weapon as I'm kind of a medieval weapon nerd myself as well.
Oh no for sure it's a chopping weapon, I don't remember where I read it but I have a bunch of books on medieval warfare so the info is likely from one of those.
I could believe it for sure, if we wanted a specific hook weapon that has some kind of backward pull though I'd love to see a bill hook in the game, or even just giving the halberd a secondary (since this weapon currently serves no purpose)
Though I think that kind of tech even for a 2hander might be a bit too strong given how strong movement and movement speed are in this game.

There should be a Bard Perk that allows for something like the Longsword to be used but at the cost of some of their action speed. A primary subclass of Bard is the College of Swords!

This map rotation is a great idea, but poorly executed. It should be that all maps are as they were, but one map on rotation allows for solo, duo, or trio lobby selection.
map rotation is kinda meh bruh, making quests already harder to do and timegated for trio teams to do a certain map for those quests, having to sit in lobby for 30 minutes just for crypts to come around is horrible. Should have made it an option like in fortnite to queue for solo/duo/trio in each map. Also this might be just a me thing but im in my right region but im rubberbanding harder than before
i think portal scaling may need to be implemented onto ruins and goblin caves for a trios lobby

Wishing for the ability to go solo in crypt through selection in the future. Don't wanna play Goblin Caves as it just feels like a battle royale, and little to no loot

Forced map rotation is a terrible idea. I like the idea of playing trios in Goblin Caves etc, but dislike the idea that I am unable to play against other solos (in Goblin Caves) whenever I feel like it - especially when you're trying to work on certain quests.

This is an issue with quests and the value of certain bosses, not with rotating maps. Those are the root issue that needs to be fixed imo.

Please experiment with a drastically increased TTK. It would be nice to be given more time for skill and mechanics to matter. As it stands now, whoever strikes first generally wins and getting caught even slightly damaged is a death sentence in most cases. The short TTK we have now rewards aggression more than it does skill.
Make the Solo, Duo, Trio an option Drop Down Menu for Each map and not time lock people out of maps. This makes me want to play even less as I only play Solo most the time. Now I have to wait till the Solo option comes around. This is not a good way of doing this...

I agree with this, we have spells and options to do counterplay but we lack the health points for time to kill. It is way too quick sometimes to even do a counterplay. Increase TTK and let us have some tactics to fightback or something and not just insta dead from 1 hit Barb or Rogue Burst killing... Add Slow Effects to Protection Potions and the like to help increase TTK, as one example. So while they are stunned you can regroup and gather yourself for the next attack...

Tracking other players after exiting or being killed by a certain team is extremely necessary. The problem is very simple. If a team of 3 has 1 person killed, they will only track 2 people from their team instead. Because that whole map is a basic problem, now the Devs have completely abandoned the post-match tracking mode, 80% of which is to help the Chinese hackers because most of the time when monitoring, they discover quite a lot of Chinese using hacking, or simply studying. Ask for experience, solo players who don't play in teams are still not allowed to monitor after the match to learn or check whether the person who just defeated them is a hacker or not, just like when there was gearscore mode.

As soon as the game stabilized, everything was relaxing, then some garbage updated, every day we saw 2 red Chinese players banned for hacking, but it still got better after the update. like this, I almost don't want to play, every time I play a game it takes 15-30 minutes, I can only play 1-2 games then change, the solo map is full of Chinese hackers, every time I report it I freeze and do nothing but alt+f4 , can't follow hackers, can't follow pro players to learn from experience
If i wanna play crypts with my trio HR AP , i have to wait for the full rotation. Rotation should be changed to better apply to everyone, or it should stay the way it was.

Well done with the map rotation, It allows more variety for the gameplay and is less repetitive than the previous system. I believe it makes sense that its a rotation depending on the lore of the game each dungeon is found by stumbling upon them and clearing them. It does make sense that there is different dungeons and different obstacles to overcome as a team or as a solo player! :D

Ive personally been loving it. By the sounds of it some stability issues came with it which is rough but theyl fix em soon enough but only complaints i really have is that longbow didnt need buffed imo and gob cave expansion didnt come with it so its really small for groups

Major suggestion: fix the asspull that is map rotation. Rotation is great as an idea, but implementation is BAD. adding a separatr rotating queue wouldve been a lot better as this just locks people from the maps they are used to and want to play in a certain setup.
I would love it if map rotation was quicker, say 3 minutes, so if I were to want to play a map I wouldn't have to wait so long.
Or, even, they could try out simply making it so you can cue onto any map with any queue whenever you like:
Main issue may be too few players playing on a specific queue, but it may be worth testing out

Your friend needs to check "My Invitations" under player list for your friend request.
If the map rotation stays, then high roller rank bucket should be determined by the team size you enter the game with. In other words, if you enter as a solo on a solo/duo/trio map, then your AP should go towards solo

Add the ability to Speak in Lobby IF the player has over a certain amount of time on that account, the amount of time should be over the amount of time that teamers, cheaters, etc. are normally caught. It would provide a "Trusted" status, if you ever get reported and proven to be breaking the rules your Trusted Status is removed and will take a very long time to re-earn it compared to the first time. I assume the initial time would be something like 168 hours ingame.

Please remove forced map rotation, or alternatively introduce a permanent trios crypt queue. GC is currently not designed for anything more than solos and the lack of foresight to make any changes to the map to compensate for trio queues is ridiculous - ruins runs into the same issue, although on a lesser scale. Maps should have a max cap queue size based around the design, rather than a shoehorned (and the following lack of adjustments) team size per queue.
Ruins was originally made for Trios and was changed to Duos as an experiment then was never changed back. There also has been changes to the maps to accommodate, the only thing they haven't done is expanding Goblin Caves which is coming next update and resurrection altars for Goblin Caves. With the additions of Uniques to the Troll and Cyclops it's ALSO not a situation where the caves aren't a source of Uniques; Especially with the addition of a Treasure Hoard to all maps which also now can give Uniques as well.
Ruins is arguably still poorly designed for trios as a one stager (since it was originally designed to continue down to Crypts) I don't know about any changes to the maps to accomodate at all, can you enlighten me?
So the portal count as well as triple down portals have been added/increased to Goblin Caves and Ruins as well as some minor changes. I haven't discovered everything but that one is the most obvious, I've been finding ALOT of minor changes but the idea from what I understand is the whole collective of changes are ment to make a better whole.

In general though this is the first pass of map rotation, there's going to be issues with every map until it's complete. This has happened with every major change to a map and this has to be one of the most dynamic changes. I expect this to be working nicely within the next 3 hotfixes. Goblin Caves changing in the next hotfix will be a major change, I expect that one to not be in a good spot for a few hotfixes as well since it'll be another major change.
Expect some changes to every map based on group count in the future I'd say.
People are just having a kneejerk reaction since it's of course not polished yet (the map rotation) and most people are treating the game as released and not unfinished so they're putting it to a higher standard than what should be expected.
So basically you're just saying to sit and wait and hope they fix the queues. What about hell bossing, then?
Not to bash anyone by saying that as a side note, people are fine to have their own opinions about it but I think it's too soon to say that this isn't a good change and we need to let them flesh it out. We've convinced Ironmace before after alot of trial and error that something isn't needed or wanted and this is an isolated feature that could very easily be removed for sure.
I would say that people need to start also doing Goblin Caves bossing as it has the same rewards and if anything the loot room might have more in Goblin Caves if you don't count bringing a Skull Key to Inferno (which due to the changes is likely more profitable than bossing). That said again there will likely be changes that can assuage this concern, this one is also another "wait and see" though.
I'm less concerned about the rewards and more about quest progress - which is why I'm asking for permanent trios crypt queue tbh. It's moderately annoying trying to get the newer players in my group to get their 10 kills when we can't even queue into HR Hell for 2/3rds of the time (obviously a "wait and fix", but the quick fix is to literally just introduce perma crypts queue)
Oh for sure right now questing is really awkward but we have to consider the fact that all the quests themselves are beta and expected to be replaced or changed some point in the future. Quests haven't been adjusted for this rotation system yet. It's for sure a pain point, THIS is what we should be complaining about; It's the quest system pushing against the map rotation system.
Ideally the feature is kept in since making all the maps be all 3 all the time (as in choosing Solo, Duo or Trio before going in) would be the worst decision they could do (i've been seeing people requesting this) as it would change the game from having 6 game queues to 18 which could cause a player drought issue, especially on starter lobbies (or High Roller lobbies when/if we get back Normal Roller and Paid High Roller; which we already had droughts before with High Roller where the lobbies were never full).
It MIGHT not be an issue if the game were on steam and had it's old player counts but until the Nexon lawsuit is over (which it's still not) the game wont be on steam and wont be getting that level of advertising.
In short:
- We should be making suggestions on changes to the Quest system to heal the pain point with it between it and map rotation.
- We should be making suggestions on changes to maps based on the queue type.
- We should give it a chance and not just assume because of it's early growing pains that it'll always have these problems and attempt to help it grow into something more enjoyable (I suspect the Goblin Caves expansion will help people also feel like Goblin Caves isn't a problem for Trios in it's own right).

They did, but it it's intentionally less than the amount of players like how it was before; there's still more but not enough for every squad. This'll likely change eitherway for Duos and Trios.

how i see it play ranger and just win at this point cooldowns buffs and dmg buff for longbow for a range class is kinda wild to me. So is the meta now to make sure to bring ranger with you. idk there is not much they can do to make me like being forced to play thesse maps, especially when half of them are ass. My issues with ruins can't rlly be fixed without a very large rework or it not even being ruins anymore.
I am actually having some fun doing the goblin caves trios though, some fun pvp. only issue is no res shrines and not enough portals. there are like 7 portals but they are extremely hard to find and if you leave 1 team left that leaves before you find them you cant rlly find portals.
and stuff like the crypts bosses arent meant for less than 3 ppl, just like cave troll isnt meant for more than 1
So personally I like Ruins as is, I would like the upper floors back from the original personally though. Goblin Caves could use some work yeah, but this is just a first pass. Crypts bosses aren't ment for the less than 3 but it's been done before; In all likelihood though we'll see some changes in the future for different amounts. It's not really ment to "force" players to play anything and more so to deliver on the "play any map with any amount of players" request that people keep giving without outright killing the game by making it so you can actually pick since it would divide the community into 18 groups and even worse as more maps come out (going from 18 to 24 once the Ice map is out and increasing by 6 for every map instead of by 2).

Idk personally I really really hate ruins. I get its a game called dark and darker, but ruins is way way way too dark compared to the other maps. along with having insane amounts of long grass everywhere. and some of the ruins just have a never ending amount of skeletons. It also gets worse to play the higher gold is worth, since everyone is running it down for gold and quests.
There is also some pretty bad spots like top of the two towers where most ppl are completely out of render distance. Just personally I don't think I will every like the map, even as a ranger which is supposed to be good on ruins I have no fun, especially since I don't trap camp everything.
Hence why I dislike the rotation, I don't wanna wait 30 minutes just to play a decent map
I think Ranger isn't really great on ruins tbh, that might be why you dislike it; I enjoy ruins alot as Warlock, Bard and Barbarian. I've been playing a little bit of Ranger recently and only did a few Ruins runs with it but I really didn't like it as ranger so I can see why you dislike it; but as those other classes it's one of my favorite maps. If we got the upper floors back than Ranger would be nearly OP on the map again though.
gut fighter knowledge, resourcefulnes and will and give him str, vigor, agi, dex. They gave barbs 5 knowledge but fighters 15. Fighters should be martial experts, but still weaker and less tanky than barb, but they can be more agile. Knowledge is a dead stat for fighters. Resourcefulness has some use, but the other stats are way more important. Actually resourcefulness can just be taken out of the game, let the stats that derive from resroucefulness come purely from other attributes.
I also think I am a bit scarred from my past ruins expiriences.
me and my duo played as ranger barb with gear before hr ruins existed, and we absoluted destroyed any team we saw. even if they were full bis, but every time we had something stupid unlucky happen and lost it all. for example a solo warlock camping in a bush for 3 minutes to randomly 1 tap me with boc after we win a fight. or killing a team for a random naked rogue to suicide me, then my barb goes to res and there is 2 teams camping res shrine. Things like that. "

Oh 100% it is but only in specific high confrontation spots, as you learn the map there's areas like NO ONE goes to with good loot and sometimes you'll get some people which will be a fair fight as it wont be getting 3rd partied. You have to be wary of the super wide open areas as well as the hyper loot areas that are just out in the open. It's for sure fairly dark but I've personally gotten used to it and kinda just know where things are at this point, but it shouldn't HAVE to be that so I can agree with a little lighting it up.
I personally use ruins for rebuild if I'm out of gold (in addition to normal play).

I do get thats not rlly how the game can be played anymore, I just have a hard time finding fun playing passive since the pve and looting has gotten stale. I don't feel rewarded when I say go into a game loot like 4 rooms and extract with a full inv of gold that aint rlly fun for me

I suggest with the addition of map rotation that Seasonal Rank is consolidated into 1 Seasonal Rank progression instead of 1 for each map's highroller as it's going to be much harder to achieve now that we cant target farm maps anymore. Quests should also be rebalanced for ones that have target farming intended to be lower numbers (as you will see the maps less) and/or more dynamic in requirements like having X or Y as a requirement instead of just X.
some of the quests really need to be reworked, or some of the enemies for the quests need to be more accesible.
For example the worms are a 50 percent chance on ruins and a 33 percent chance on a single map of gc.
I don't think its good when to finish a quest you just run it down and then leave after you kill something or get the wrong spawn
In general quests and the seasonal rank rubs up against map rotation in a bad way right now and need to be rebalanced to support map rotation

I think a change in rotation would be the best solution. Crypts stays open. Gobo caves rotates between solo/duo and Ruins rotates duo/trio. I think everyone would be way more happy this style or roataion and the games would be more fun in gobo caves.

Player kills should be worth more RP because sometimes you spend a lot of times for those kills and they have like 2-4 treasures.....just feels bad.
that also, i player alot of HR GC before this patch and when i was about to pathfinder III i finally understood why everyone was so friendly and avoiding eachother... kills were worth like 10-15 ap EACH, trying to kill someone is worthless, you are going to gain way more by just keep breaking vases and boxes instead of chasing someone for 3 minutes just for 10 AP

Just ruins and gobo on rotation with runis being duo/trio and gobo caves being solo/duo. ....IT's so bad I ended up leveling a rogue and just running ruins to reach pathfinder skin. Haven't touched that char since reaching that rank.

It’s only 9 players like always has been. Usually in gob caves only 5 peoples survives in solos. Or 2 teams for trios. The loot is good for that 5/6 people who survive.

Arcane shield interaction with reactive shield is bad. You dont make use of the entire arcane shield without reactive shield getting over written. Seperating them would make both skill and perk bad or completely dead. Dont forget arcane feedback COMPLETELY DEAD.

With the introduction of herbs on craft, we could probably in a near future receive Magical Oil that could be crafted with those herbs aswell. Some examples that I can imagine are:
- +1/2/3 Weapon Damage for 30 seconds.
- Bonus AR for 1min.
- Bonus Magical/Elemetal Damage in the weapon for the next X attacks.
Magical oil could also have a standard duration like 1min or 30 seconds despite the effect, but how the game work right now (everyone kill anyone in 2-3 hits), something around 20-30 seconds should be enough.

Ranger isnt OP, but the game model is. Everyone 1-3tap everyone, you lose more than half of your health when you reach the ranger. Besides ranger, the only other class that has a good range weapon use is fighter. So If you dont take the ranger off guard or you arent a fighter and the ranger isnt horrible playing, you probably going to die.
"But the game has straight corridors etc, etc" Yeah, harder to dodge arrows and easier to take a triple show in the face, again, ranger isnt OP, but the mode the game is delivered to us make him OP.

Imo the only issue with ranger is quickshot(and traps, i hate traps even as a ranger) feel like the quickshot cooldown should not have been reduce. In a perfect world things like quickhot, ambush things like that are removed since the burst dmg in this game is very unbalanced

It's not a game model it's the point system that alot of game developers use; they sometimes don't apply enough value to each feature though. An example is: +1 Higher Damage, -1 Lower Health = +0; Balanced. That's over simplification and there's usually ALOT more values but the point is to keep the final value the same as every other character.
Point system also doesn't account for fun. If health is flexible shouldn't higher damage also be worth more so maybe that should be +2 and now that -1 causes it to end up at +1 making it overpowered. Etc. etc. etc.
ik, most of that is cause cleric. im sayin if the game because extremely balanced then ideally they would be able to remove things like quickshot, ambush, maybe blow of corruption and still have each class be balanced.

An option to make Burst damage less of a focus and sustained damage matter more is we could have 10% of damage cause "Scarring" damage which can only be healed by surgical kits, resting, campfires and extracting which lowers Max HP.
Of course it has, in DaD the characters are fragile for a whole, with exception being PDR Fighter and maybe barbarian? But in barbarian case they're just a walking HP bag. When I talk about game model, its about the fragility/damage burst each class has and the maps we play.
You can see the difference now that we didnt have too much weapon damage in every piece of gear, the game has become "slower" If I can say it, lol, but before everyone was 1-tapping everyone.
But welp, the game is in EA and has too much stuff to try yet, I just hope in the future the game dont resume in who hit 2-3 times first.

Currently the issues that are actually pressing and not just players not being used to maps:
- Quests are not built for not being able to play a specific map repeatedly. They need reworks (which is already planned).
- Highroller ranking is not built for not being able to play a specific map repeatedly. Consolidating the ranking into 1 ranking instead of per map would fix this (This was also a pain point for some people who got sick of 1 map eitherway).

I love that solo can play on bigger maps, not everyone is hardcore pvp, many of us in here for pve also
I don't want to complain about the dev team but I feel like there's a mild problem with the lack of description behind changes. If you take for example Riot Games, patch notes generally have statements justifying changes or just giving general insight as to why something was changed. A lot of people like to complain about how IM is "clueless" and I think it would be helpful to see the thought process behind the dev team's actions.

Quests gotta be account wide man. I hate just playing one character but I feel demotivated from touching any other character knowing how much time and effort it's taken me to get my quests done on my main.
Quests shouldn't be, Affinity should be. The actual quest rewards aside from affinity are nice per character but Affinity should just be "I completed X quest so that quest for all other characters loses the Affinity reward since every character gets that reward when any character does".

I have no problems with that, but as a side-note the extra stash tab you unlock could also be account-wide, just considering the prerequisites for these quests it's ridiculous to expect anyone to do them on multiple characters.
ESPECIALLY considering they put a patchnote in saying a 'chapter system' is coming and that these quests are just the beginning, this is WAY too many quests for someone to complete on multiple characters.

These are quests that take such an immense amount of time, grind, effort and luck to complete.
(Considering there's 3 inferno bosses, only 1 of every 3 runs when you make it to inferno will you be eligible to get the lich, and that's IF you make it to inferno with enough meds to beat the lich)
These quests are just designed to waste so much of your time that if they're gonna do it like this, making the more permeant rewards account wide HAS to be the way to go.
Personally i want the quests to be account wide. Maybe make a few harder and have the merchants shared over accounts so you cant get 8 different types of items.

I do think affinity being account wide and quests not being would be the best result so players can get rewards like Coin Bags or other things per character but have all crafting and shop unlocks be account wide. This will matter more in the future when there is items that only come from quests (which have been talked about).

The Shield Blocks on the back (Like the Pavise and heater) is a good Idea. I do not know if it was a bug or intended but it was a good. The reasons is because you give up your range for more close range and giving the range players needing more skill to hit players while giving close range a chance to fight instead of getting kited.
If they made it so it also came with free stats that you could spend as you please, it might make up for the inability to wear a BIS hounskull, but even then only for casual colored kits.
Exactly it's not overpowered at all, it's exceptionally niche except for very specific use cases but no matter what not useful for high end at all

Although the longsword buff and keeping grey health when you stop resting are very nice additions
So the ranger buffs were actually a good thing, I hate ranger personally and these are good changes. It looks like their current goal is to pivot how ranger is balanced to be less about burst damage and more about consistent damage. The cooldowns changing is changing is due to the position of the class strength changing.
The Wizard Nerf specifically to Magic Missile I think was too heavy handed to go back from 12 to 9 like before. The issue with Wizard is the high end in the first place, it'll feel the same at the high end anyway. They also introduced more Anti-magic gear so there's even less reason to nerf Magic Missile.
Besides. You shove a shield into their staff/hand as they are casting MM it interrupts the spell. So I don't think it even needed much done with it anyway.
I wonder if classes without shields should get something like Ward or Counter Spell
Though I do find them annoying as hell, the introduction of more antimagic armor helps deal with wizards. The biggest issue with magic damage in general is that there's alot of scaling for it, but no scaling to magic resistance. Unlike physical damage.

Long story short you have gold farmers go to a low population solo server and que up at the same time to get placed in the same lobby. Then one of them kills themselves and spectates the non gold farmers and tells their friends on a discord call where the non farmers are so they can kill em off and have the whole game to themselves. Needless to say, it hurts the hell out of the game, and the appeal of HR to begin with.
Want someone to blame, blame the farmers (or more accurately, the people forcing would be Chinese gamers to do this as slave labor) they're the reason we can't have nice things

Please fix the Barb’s speed. It was funny for a while, but at this point everything but a fully plated Fighter/cleric just kites them. There is no reason a shirtless, helmetless barbarian in lightfoots should be outrun while raging by a warlock in oracle robes. You basically have to ambush someone to get close enough, and because taking a step sounds like a 3 year old pretending to be Niel Peart with pots and pans, that means staying completely still for long periods of time next to a point of interest.
devs are clueless, just quit playing and charge back bro. Barb should be fastest class in game, but graysun's boy plays ranger so he needs to be handheld so he can win.

The current gaming experience is so bad that I don’t even know why I want to play this game.
After fixing the game crash error, now entering the game to search for a match takes 5-10 minutes and still can't enter the lobby. When I enter the lobby, it crashes and won't let me in. I lose all my gear because of hot fix 26. Still keeping the map rotation for the Chinese.
Imagine if we had playtest balance today (+100 added damage BIS kits 1 shotting everyone with 1 arrow or stab, craziness) - it honestly only felt good because everyone was really bad and the meta was unexplored. If anything, it was the feeling that you had a better shot at winnjng every fight, which was mostly just everyone sucking (which MMR systems help maintain somewhat - easy to simulate that environment when everyone is a beginner)

Maybe in the future implement a traveling merchant in the dungeons similiar to Resident Evil 4s mysterious merchant that you can exchange items for gold with or items for potions/ bandages. So you can continue on. This could be good on maps that last awhile. Could encourage people to risk it for the biscuit so to speak. To keep going deeper rather than leaving when full of items.

A quality of life enhancement for ready status, a sound is played whenever a party member is ready. Often you'll be waiting for party members to ready up so you go to a merchant or stash, but everyone's doing it so it takes longer than it should to start. Have an option to disable if it is annoying for anyone.

can bards get adjustments to the class having negative buff duration is weird we need so much knowledge and mem cap to play a good portion of our songs we are very gear dependent in the higher tier lobbys in low tier it feels fine but there is a large gap once we go to high roller our Physical damage resistance is low and so is our magic resist I dont expect a bard to tank but it doesnt feel great when a naked rouge can outpace us in fights and kill us in 2 or 3 hits with fast attacks the class feels so weak ive played other classes and it just feels better there where some good changes to bard but the class is not fun anymore we are dependant on knowlage mem cap dex and vigor to cover our basics in game thats 4 stats per geared item to be able to contend with others im not saying i would like to see bards kill lobbies but it sucks that the class feels like it dies as fast as a wizzard. I feel like there should be some changes made we are not a common picked class the only reason the class is picked most of the time in my opinion is for the luck stat it hasnt felt good playing the class in a while and I would like to see some changes is all hope that is some good feedback that can be looked into

congrats IM - I'm done. You nerfed Wizard again (when they were in the best spot they've ever been in, balance wise - maybe a slight nerf to MM wouldve been OK but that's it). I am forced to play Wizard if I want to quest, because quests aren't shared across classes. As a solo, Wizard isn't nearly as strong as in teams - unless you spend an hour spending 2-5k on a kit that you'll almost surely lose no matter how good you are in 1-5 games just due to being so squishy. I shouldn't be forced to SIT FOR AN HOUR in trade if I want to play a HR. Not to mention - forget normals. You're just dead against any decent player, and normals aren't fun at all anyway. Like, why? What's so hard about this? If you're constantly going to go back and forth between nerfing and buffing things every 1-3 weeks then your classes need to be reworked. This is ridiculous.
Last thing - do you know how many times you've buffed a skill, then nerfed it, then buffed it, then nerfed it since playtest 3? I don't, because it's too many to count. This isn't league of legends or WoW Arena - you don't have 100 champions or 15 classes with 50 skills. You need to committ to something or your classes have fundamental problems. It's extremely frustrating. And, again, no one (except for RMTer's and gold famers) likes to sit in trade chat trying to click an item as fast as they can for an hour. Why do you think all the streamers have brokers/lackeys to do this stuff for them? A huge flaw.

Iornmace is fumbling up balance by taking this walk back approach cause its inconsistent and compounds gaps between classes because its never done properly. For example:
IE: Rouge is performing too well, so nerfs are made to its abilities. In the same patch, for example, Ranger receives some buffs to help bring them back in line with other classes.
Okay now it seems rouge is too weak, so they will throw rouge a bone and give him some buffs. in the next patch
Next patch, its observed that the changes to rouge are a little too good, so they get nerfed further, sometimes worse than originally. IN THE SAME PATCH, RANGER STILL GETS BUFFS (this is the class gap im talking about at the start)
They just dont revert changes when they dont work out, instead they keep changing values, and some classes get multiple positive changes in a row, while others keep getting hammered. There really is no reason to play any class in solo besides fighter., There iis simply no other reason other than personal taste at this point. Keeping fighter as the target of balance is the most asinine thing to do, a jack of all trades class with the highest defensive options with consistently high power and range options.
Want to play dagger rouge? Just play Fighter in cloth

With the introduction of herbs on craft, we could probably in a near future receive Magical Oil that could be crafted with those herbs aswell. Some examples that I can imagine are:
- +1/2/3 Weapon Damage for 30 seconds.
- Bonus AR for 1min.
- Bonus Magical/Elemetal Damage in the weapon for the next X attacks.
Magical oil could also have a standard duration like 1min or 30 seconds despite the effect, but how the game work right now (everyone kill anyone in 2-3 hits), something around 20-30 seconds should be enough.

Separate scaling for solos, duos and trios. The fact a barb can have 170 health and practically face tank anything is absurd, the fact a warlock can deal 110 health half of it being magic damage just to not be able to be touched afterwards because of dark reflection is stupid, wizard got major magic missal nerf so he has no close range ability, ranger can place 55 traps around an area and make it impossible to actually hit them, bard 😔, cleric has enough healing to practically have 3x the amount of health, rogue can literally land mine and then run away unscathed and completely counters anyone dependent on abilities and fight has stupid amounts of tankability making close range combat borderline impossible. There is an issue with literally every character and since this game is a big match of rock paper scissors without balancing per gamemode it literally makes it so it's unfair in one scenario but completely fine in the other. This is all for solos btw, I don't want to flood the chat by mentioning trios and duos but atleast seperate solo scaling with duo and trio.

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I wish that the stats were further calculated and explained within game like a pop up window. League of Legends does a good job of this sometimes, displaying the hard mathematical calculations of stats and showing you their adjustments and effects in real time. You can find this information on a wiki, but I wish it was visible in game so I could better view stat adjustments in both the lobby as well as mid match

No, they fixed a bug with the cooldown. That's not a nerf, that's fixing a bug as it wasn't supposed to work the way it did. Their intended change to the balance were ranger skill buffs and longbow damage buff; the only nerf regarding ranged was crossbow damage nerf.
Love extraction games, been playing them for years. can't stand how absolutely horrid the balance is in this game. The damage they can do should be dropped until they can actually implement a system where using a bow isn't free kills every match with how insanely easy it is to kill someone with them vs how hard it is for the poor, non-fighter chump to kill me
they buff them because they only look at the stat numbers, because ranger is predominatly played by the more Call of duty not alot of brain function crowd, it looks like the ranger is bad due to user error even though its a very easy for casual player class, so they see those stats as ranger not good and buff the ranger
Yea it was a bug fix, but it still is a nerf. Its the same as a +10 second cooldown
By that logic, it's a "nerf" when, say, a barbarian's crush ability just one-shots anyone that blocks due to a bug in the code and it gets fixed
that's not a "nerf" that's a FIX. If the thing is supposed to work like A, but instead it does X, then it's not a nerf to make it function the way it's supposed to. It would be a nerf to intentionally change A to B because A was overperforming. But they didn't do that. They BUFFED the rangers, and when they buffed them they messed up the cooldown by accident, so they fixed it. It's still a buff from what it was before; fixing something that was functioning in a way it wasn't supposed to is neither buff nor nerf; it's making sure it functions as intended.
It is a fix? But it is still an overall nerf to the class.

XD I just asked how the game is doing and I see that its worse than when I left. They JUST updated shield smash to finally block attacks. But in general many of these changes make no sense and I have no idea which ones are liked or not to know if they are listening to the players at all or even test their game. The more I see the patches the more I see the game getting more and more restricted. Forcing more on players as they cant seem to balance anything. Thats very true, but it seems as of late many more factors in the game have been effected by the poor choices of the devs.
Add a killcam into the game when you die you can see the player who killed you perspective and if you notice something fishy and perhaps they are cheating you could add a feature to the report system where it'll clip that kill cam for you devs to see and look over and judge for yourself if indeed there were cheats

If that makes sense- Basically every map would have 2/3 of the uptime at any moment, just not HR nessessarily. (trio crypts would only be down 1/3 the time)
I feel this easily fixes the system for folks who want to only play certain maps at a certain size and keeps them up for the MOST time possible.

A Pitch: This is just in the next annoucement will be about a release of a new ice/glacier them map. Whats separates this map from the other is the circle, because there isn't one. Players can leave every 8 minutes when the traveling wagon hits its rounds on the map. After the wagon is gone a event will start soon after. This event will either help reset the map with a mighty blizzard were adventures need to hide or huddle next to a warm campfire, to huge ice giants that are returning home from hunting dire wolfs. On top of that the fortune teller's shop will be receiving a rework. With a little bit of coin, you may reroll stats on gear. The friendlier fortune teller the more precise you'll be able to reroll particular trait. There will also be a new potion sold directly from her, the mirror potion. It'll create a mirror image of yourself right next to you that will replicate the reverse motion and actions you do. The Phantom image can take up to 30HP before fading away in smoke.
My second Pitch: Open a tavern map its a 30 player map where theres no time limit, you can leave at anytime and keep gear. Theres three things this provides: the main one is a place where you can hangout with your avatar showing off gear/inventory etc. (not only that you can do physical trades with players in the tavern), second is fun friendly pvp part on the map that allows you to request duels that'll put you in a arena(This is where there can be different map variations, for instance one pvp ground is a flat boxing ring and an other one can be a physical part of the tarven with smashable boxes and ale that can only be picked up and drank durring the duel). With this arena you can have ante fight system(for players fighting n watching) for the duel, so like i said you wont lose your gear but you can bet anything. Note there will be the local goblin clerk(the one that sells random gear) at the bar drink if you talk to him he can do IOWEYOUs and act your bank by having a bag of infite holding on his side. Finally will be mini games, bards can duel each other on the stage(ddr style, or dnd instrument rythm style), you can have a simple verse drinking contest(warning you'll still have to pay per beer!-per tarven owner),arm wrestling contest(str and dex stats actually help or hinder you). And if it helps you can naturally keep everyone out of the tavern by saying its closing time allowing to reset servers n stuff. This will allow you to stop the rotation and providing special incentives for the maps that the players usally like them for.
I never said it wasnt better than its launch. Saying the prior patch was a win is very subjective. I can agree that it has good parts, but more parts than you mentioned can objectively be seen as not necessary, and or bad. If you actually read you could actually extrapolate solid information that maybe I have been keeping up with the game from at least patch 17. With all the assuming you did I suggest you dont tell people whats for them.

You can make opinions for sure, no issue there. The issues are that you failed to make them relevant, and failed to use any effort looking into what was fully said to make them. So simply you made half assed and mostly irrelevant comments, which I can assure you I didnt come here for.
A prime example is in what you quoted yourself. They didnt fix any actual issues. The prior update updated some stuff which is nice, but none of which touched on what you can literally read what people are still complaining about. In fact you can say this change brought up more issues than before.
Cyclops boulder attack is inconsistent and no indicator to react. Also map rotations make it harder to do quest. Map rotations should have its own seperate queue from the original solos,duos, and trios. Make the Leathersmith quest done on kills not pelt.

Over buffed, how many patches ago? The only time they were overly picked seems like ages ago, but that died so quickly just as they would die in dungeons quickly. I can be wrong, but what I'm pretty sure of at least is that they've nerfed wizards pretty consistently for the past seven or eight patches, the prior one is especially big.

What i mean in order for even a geared wizard to delete some one with missiles you need to get multiple hits by missiles how ever a ranger with just perks + white long bow can easy one and a half 2 tab a wizard especial that with wizards movement speed reduce while casting is a easy target practice

The HR and Normal rotations only have to not be exactly the same for this to work.

🇳 🇪 🇷 🇫 🅱️ 🇦 🇷 🇩 so broken can kill everyone with no effort takes little gear to be op moves and swings so fast nerf there buff durration -8% isnt good enough on a class that is buff focused honestly they only have negative -4% physical dmg that needs to be -40% like how there magic power used to be now its only -20% but who cares also when they do shreik of weakness it needs another nerf to range we should be able to hit then 2-3 times before they can pull out a weapon to defend themselves also why does the class even need to buff when allegro and accelerando last for 6 seconds now god forbid they can have a buff last for a fight or do you think we get kills that fast honestly im trying to be sarcastic but you all get the point im making hear the class is not fun and just sucks to play there are just better options hope you all have a great holiday

I SUGGEST THEY MAKE IT SO THAT AP ACTUALLY WORKS CORRECTLY INSTEAD OF ME QUEUING INTO A HIGH ROLLER AS A PURPLE RANK, THEN IT SHOWS ME I AM IN NEOPHYTE IN THE GAME, THEN AT THE END I GET LIKE 400 AP BECAUSE NEOPHYTE IS A JOKE, AND THEN NONE OF IT COUNTS TOWARDS ANYTHING AND MY AP IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS BEFORE I STARTED THE GAME
map rotation is so cancer. why are players forced to play certain things and forced to not be able to play certain things unless they wait for like 30 min's... so dumb
I like map rotation but I think maybe it should be like two options instead of one. I might be biased though because I genuinely hate when ruins is the only queueable option.
Like genuinely every map layout feels good except ruins and the one hybrid goblin caves layout.
goblin caves is terrible as trio cause its too small and not meant for trio, its still built for solo's no matter how many people you throw in there. i personally hate ruins, so im already not liking being forced to play that or wait, and crypts isnt meant to be solo, its built for trio's to handle the pve. and wether they adjusted the maps accordingly to balance them for 1's, 2's and/or 3's or not, it would still be a bad move to separate the queues's to allow you to choose whatever party size you want on whatever map you want, because then it would seperate the playerbase WAY too much and there wouldnt be enough people to play a lot of certain maps/modes in certain regions. like it may not be that big of a problem for US east, but for a lot of others it would be an issue for sure. i understand that there are people who want to play as solo or duo on more maps then just goblin caves or ruins, but this current system we have is horrible and the worst way possible to implement it. how are players expected to kill 15 lich's and 10 ghost king's on top of all the other things when they can only get 1 MAYBE 2 games of crypts in assuming its a full raid to the end before they have to wait for 30 fucking minutes just to be able to access crypts again with their team. its so dumb and not well thought out at all
Potentially, they could remove the mmr, and have options for every map, they might all still fill in a reasonable amount of time, though some maps may favor the newbies and others the hardcore gamers

hell the mmr is irrelevant at this point. pro's with demigod status out here matching up with green ranks and slaying them of course. shits disgusting. even in norms its still a joke.
Still, I find that the game has been a lot more fun being able to play in any map with any class, though I can't deny ruins is completely full of rogues in my experience, and with the dagger buffs they're able to kill me a little too easily to my liking.
I like playing rogue, but with too many rogues, everywhere feels like strike first or die

The quests in themselves are just poorly designed.
There's 3 crypts bosses, you don't always to make it to inferno but when you do it's a 1/3 chance. Assuming you are perfect that's approx 45 runs to complete it, but given how many runs end before you get to inferno, or in inferno with another team interrupting you it's more likely to be in the 100s of runs. Quests should be hard, but not THIS grindy

With the 30 minute timer, it makes trying to grind out the boss quests nearly impossible
