I'd literally have to hit that warlock 3-5 times AT LEAST to kill him, while he has the ability to 1 shot, yeah ok.
The game could be just as bad at the moment with phantomize BoC if everyone decides to rock warlock.
But no, the publicity was about rogues, not warlocks, talk about baiting people in to buy the game then completely do a rework on what brought the majority here in the first place.
agreed, oneshots shouldn't be prevalent in the game. it's not engaging. but a rogue should be about dipping and dodging around each attack hitting pressure points. unfortunately, fighter can do it even better with sprint while not having the downside of being squishy

I mean, if we don't want rogues to just be invis-oneshot characters, they need movespeed to compensate fortheir healthpool. even if double-jump can help avoid a headshot during combat, it seems odd to punish even when it's not being used.
I mean idc anymore, I'm done with the game for a bit after that but to absolutely shit on the most played class in the game and that basically made your game into what it is via Jays videos bringing in such a population of players, mainly rogues is just craziness to me.

you got to nerf the geared warlocks by nerfing the hydra a geared warlock is really hard to beat and has the most advantage over any class by lowering the health and damage on the hydra so its easily taken down would make it fair across the board some people may view this as bad because they don't want warlocks to be nerfed again and everyone says warlocks are the worst class right now and that's true but a geared warlock is different and lowering the health and damage on the hydra wouldn't hurt the ungeared warlocks at all just the geared ones who use it none stop to make it impossible to push them most cases

Dunno if this has been mentioned before but a parry dagger or a sword breaker dagger would be a nice addition for rogues and bards as a defense option. It would have to have a very precise animation and timing but it could give enemies a debuff similar to the giant spiders that makes it so you can’t attack. It would be a high skill weapon

Add trading between characters with a 30G fee. This could be a simple quality of life change so you don't have to trade through someone, or it could keep items' "looted" status so you don't have to grind hundreds of hours to get characters to max affinity if you play multiple
Or what if it was in the drop pool for breaking spider pots as well? 
Please IM grant us at least this, or Giant Spiders on other maps I can't take killing 3 to 5 a game in Gob if I get lucky and still seeing nothing days at a time :C

I think they need to gut fighter will and knowledge and distribute into dex, str, agi, vigor, res. I think they need to make rawhide gloves either purely knowledge scaling, or scaling with knowledge + will with either 2knowledge and 1 will or opposite. They need to make leather gloves scale with either pure dex or dex + agi with 2dex 1 agi or opposite. Visored barbuta needs to have either str, agi, dex or vigor to make them viable. The will scaling is basically dead. The item has no use for any purpose. All other helmets do potentially fill a role. Will gives a negligible amount of mr, debuff duration and buff duration ,but not enough to warrant it as a base stat for a pure fighter gear piece.
I understand that they want fighter to have 15 of everything to be the true jack of all trades, but that would only work if fighters could utilize will and knowledge. Knowledge does two things for fighter; that is using shrines faster and opening portals faster. That is completely uneccassry. In a group the spellcasters will be the ones opening portals and interacting with shrines is not so important that you want to neglect important stats for that one little niche scneario where you could pull off a heal or using a shrine buff. Will has more merit than knowledge as it actually helps you keep buffs longer, but still advantage of the physical attributes i think would outweigh that purpose. In solos the will is basically dead.

Something needs to be done about the auction house, bc just spamming your items takes so long and its annoying. A market system similar to Wow or Tarkov would do so well, pay a fee and post your item, someone may or may not buy it. Boom, done. Dont have to spend 15 minutes Shift clicking an item to raffle it off so it doesnt get lost in the wall of text in chat.

Ironmace, please for the love of god give bard some buffs, there is no point in running the class when you can play cleric to support, play ranger to use crossbow/surv bow, play rogue for rapier combat. The bard feels like a jack of all trades but a master of none, and it needs to have something that makes it stand out.

right now hell is the MOST unapproachable map in the game, the stacking of enemies in one spot, the fact enemies are nearly as glitchy as a bethesda game means the dev team needs to focus on it

You have to be very far away for them to break aggro and stronger monsters keep aggro from further distances
I've preached a similar suggestion, though my idea was to have Hide Mastery be dissolved into several different existing perks
so Pickpocket would buff hide a little bit but so would a few other perks
either way, I'd be good with this as well
I think they are talking about how if you go invisible monsters will just stand there and wait for you to come out of invisibility instead of going back to their idle pathing or aggroing onto something else
I mean yeah that's always happened. If you're really close, they'll hit you. If you're kinda close, sometimes they will try to bump you out of invis
they'll only hit you if they already started an attack and no they will not purposely path to you to bump you out of invis

the fact that the mob does do the little stutter step shows that the creature's pathing is running into a some kind of metaphorical wall

True idk. I thought of it as the original mechanic for having the AI detect invisibles nearby, before they did in depth stuff, but I can see what you mean because if they're facing the wrong direction they still perform the action. I kinda liked the idea of the AI trying to sniff you out

It kinda already is a get out of jail free card if you're surrounded with another player nearby, mobs switch their aggro to that player.
I see no reason for mobs not to reset when you use an invis pot, it's kind of goofy for them to just stand there waiting for you, it would be nice if invis pots had a use outside of pvp and resetting boss room aggro.
Invis pots are plenty useful and have saved me already lol
I get you it just feels stupid and cheaty? Like I get that we do a lot to cheese mobs but players are supposed to feel like the smart ones, it kinda feels cheap when all the mobs freeze in place and are just waiting for you to come out of invis to get you again, like they're the ones cheesing you.

I think it depends. Double jump was a lil too free, rn rogues would be really overpowered if they had old double jump back. Rogues stopped complaining as much once the weapons were buffed. I don't think rogue is in too bad a spot
When I play rogue I prefer a very rat playstyle since I generally only play it when my friends aren't around
so the damage buff is nice and all but I feel like slippery stealthy rogue is hardly viable right now
though there is argument to say that a purely non-combative rogue is not intended to be viable since this game has such a heavy pvp focus
I mean
before taking gear into account, having double jump moves your base movement speed to 290, which is less than any other character in the game
and though your gear generally slows you down less than most, you also have nothing in your kit that speeds you up (wait, I forgot about shadow runner)*
so in order to escape any situation with this perk, you're forced to absolutely abuse the mobility it does grant you
and given that people were still complaining about rogues spamming double jump in combat even after they made it so you are slowed after double jumping, I feel the only reason people aren't complaining about that now is because double jump is effectively dead
*I'll have to try out using shadow runner with double jump at some point

There are a few spot that have chests that have a much higher (if not 100%) chance to be a mimic
like the room with the large chest in a cage in the middle, right outside the door to the cage are 3 chests that I think are always mimics

Because gold items are endgame content, it's too easy to access endgame content and I understand that gold is softer but there's also magic in this game, explain that? Not everything has to be based off of reality. Or just switch gold and rubysilver rarities

I was thinking, they should make a skill-check while mining that would give you a large bump in progress that could scale with your strength. You than can have resourcefulness and Strength as different ways so mine, and the skill-check might just give ya something to do atleast.
They also should add some sort of Ore-Bag to the game to allow ya to carry out more, but could be like a wolf-pelt + something to craft

Just different ways to make it more interesting, Right now mining sucks if its not gold and isnt worth it
They should make the Gold Ore POI's have some sort of mini-boss you need to kill and than a gate opens to allow you at the ore
And than impliment them on other maps, Like if ya kill the wraith the door opens and than ya can go inside and get a lionshead and maybe 1 ore vein
just more interesting / dynamics POI's in general would be nice, Like you could do a ritual in an area that could summon like a wave of skeletons, and that would open a static down portal or something
or better yet just things to do inside the dungeon to bring players together instead of just the ring, the right right now feels really annoying to play around (crypts specifically) as the mob densisty, and lack of diagnal tile movement in some tiles results in you tailing the edge of ring sometimes.

Allow rogue to use hand crossbow without a perk and let the woodsman sell white hand crossbow.
Why every class have access to crossbow/a efficient range damage and rogue only has use a perk to use it, at least do the same about the other class.

Rogue has throwing knives
they are just as easy to hit as Barbarian's Throwing Axes, albeit they have less damage
But given that Barbarian has more straight forward damage than rogue in general that tracks
Rogue also has the option to apply their rupture via their throwing knives, so if you are able to land it, that is +20 damage
Ambush and Poison Weapon also allow for extra damage, though Ambush is much more suited for going in with melee
All things considered, Barbarian's and Rogue's ranged combat is pretty comparable when not considering Hand Crossbows
As a side note, does anyone know if Rogue's Back Attack perk works with throwing knives?
ik but i never spawn near them, my most often spawn is the large room with ores in the left corner of crypts

looks like on crypt 6, that room is in the top left (other maps have it in the bottom left), and the room I mentioned is south one and east once
otherwise, yeah, that room doesn't really spawn near any spots I know has mimics
also holy hell to have 4 of them be lionhead chests, that's pretty out there
I think rings and amulets should vendor for more... Its kinda dumb that a green amulet vendors for the same as a gray bangle.
hadn't noticed that jewellery sold for so little, though its not quite as low as grey bangles, it probably should be more than they do

I've seen a few people point out that mining should scale with strength and this would be a really good way of doing it without introducing an exception to interaction speed
That said, I do think I still prefer the idea of making the ore an object you destroy by hitting it with a pick
That would allow Barbarians to use the Crush perk for mining
Small QOL that prob been suggested before but for the trading post there should be a filter for usable by class type

Hunting Trap should be a skill, not an item
It would function like Rogue's Caltrops, a limited number of uses per match, non-rechargeable
Making it a skill rather than it being an item does 4 big things:

Introduces an opportunity cost to using them.
Ranger has some pretty good skills. 25x3 heals, defense penetration, massive boost to bow attack speed, and a couple of burst damage skills
By putting the trap as one of their skills, they are forced to give up a potent piece of their kit in order to have access to a very different tool yet still very lethal tool -
Allows the ranger to have traps every match.
As it stand now, ranger starts with 2 traps but once they are used must either buy more, die, or find them in the dungeon
While other classes do have consumables as a part of their starting kit, such items are much more common and can be used by multiple classes
It would be a little silly to do a suicide run just to get your bandage back as a fighter, but doing one as a ranger gets you two new traps
Making traps a skill instead of an item eliminates that situation completely -
Removes them from the drop table
As I said before, Hunting Traps are very powerful tools, so as someone who has played a fair share of ranger I get excited when I find a trap on a shelf...until I realise I'm not a ranger that run
No other class can use Hunting Traps which makes the fact that they're an item very weird to me
Sure we have the bard instruments being bard exclusive now, as well as some armor, but because Hunting Traps can so easily be turned into a skill to remove them from the item pool, I think they should -
Limits how many traps can be placed
Most of use have probably seen the strat before
placing 20 traps down in one room and just waiting
Luckily if traps were a skill, you could no longer fill your inventory with them

it is a bit strange that the short sword's action movement speed penalty is lower than the daggers
not even by a little, daggers have -15% while short sword has -9%
as for the on hit slow, could honestly make that more like the Castillon, slashes do -7% for 0.5s and the stab does -15% for 1s
with all that said though, if they are going to nerf the short sword's numbers can they also make the attacks land more consistently

I went into the dungeon to try out myself to team against people and yea it works. its wrong, and 9 out of 10 as soon as we killed the other guy we killed each other, so not even smart. I dont know man, i feel like playing the game is almost pointless at the moment, really repetitive, gear check every time, magic classes able to destroy anything they came across.. IDK, i feel that for 35$-50$ the game should be better. i also know that this is an alpha and go on, but still.

This game is almost occupied by the Chinese, the Quest reward system sometimes takes too long and rewards are almost non-existent, some quests are almost 100% impossible to complete, and Rank mode is like a game. When you want to try a different class, when you go to rank, you always see a group of purple and orange ranks, so why create a rank system to divide levels when you just put gray and white ranks in the lobby with a group of purple and orange ranks separated by each other? up to 3 - 4 rank levels
One suggestion I saw for quests was to have it so you can turn in items as you get them. Wouldn't really make the quests all that faster but it would make it less stressful on your inventory management

Just a note, the devs actually took a step back from that stance and clarified that it was organized teaming that bothered them, not the real-time experiences of people teaming up temporarily. You can actually see it if you scroll down.

I know they clarified the purpose of the change in policy, I'm still unsure exactly how that policy is being enforced

At the end of the day, it would be all but impossible to implement an accurate automated system for something like that so I'd assume such cases are to be handled on a case by case basis to judge if a player is intentionally attempting to ruin the game experience for others

The sound system is almost non-existent, other players run up without any footsteps, opening the door a few steps away also makes no sound, while I run to other players, there are all Chinese waiting.

We've seen what happens when HR leaderboards are entirely determined by playerkills. Results in bloodthirsty lobbies of people spawn rushing and killing people without even bothering to loot.
That's the reason they reworked it in the first place, to make the system LESS reliant on kills. Perhaps a little too unreliant though, 20% is okay but putting it to 40% is just bringing back the old problem.

Not by enough. I said I'd be good with 20% because currently player kills are kinda just, nothing? Which is definitely not ideal. I don't like highly incentivizing them too much though because it results in roll lobbies which makes many people just not want to play HR. It's good to have a good mix of people that are there to kill as well as loot. Which I feel aside from in the highest ranks of HR it currently does well.
I guess I disagree because I'm more on the side of this game is more of a BR than an Extraction Looter.
Tbh, what is a good indicator of skill in a ranking system other than killing others? After a while anyone can learn the bosses or rat for a portal. So what sets someone apart from another other than their skill in pvp?
I agree that I don't want the game to turn into a bloodbath and everyone tunnel brained on killing each other but I believe it should be one of the most prominent metrics in a rank system.
Just kinda hard disagree currently. If they improve class balance that every class is able to equally run through lobbies then sure, but it seems like fighters and barbs as well as rogues to a less extent are the ones that are able to do that without stopping right now. I don't like the idea that because you don't play one of these classes you have a harder time ranking up. (Not saying those classes can't do well in pvp, but just they don't do as well in nonstop pvp situations)

For reference I'm a ranger player, so usually to get a good kill I need to kite and setup. I don't look to do it specifically because kills are more of an 'opportunity' to me. I can't just kill anyone I want to kill, so I loot and if an opportunity comes up I take it. I understand Fighter, Barb and Rogue can kinda just run people down and kill them but I don't like the idea that the way some classes are forced to play would disadvantage them in ranked. Of course looting being the primary way already does kinda disadvantage wizard a little bit but he more than makes up for it with the ability to be able to kill said fighters steamrolling lobbies.
Can we get a damage feedback after death. Would be nice to know what combination of skills killed me
i feel as though barb needs some kind of nerf. whether it be health or ar or dmg just something. i feel it a little crazy that a default barb had up to 140 hp and 50ar could take 6 hits from full geared rouge then go to kill 2 full geared fighters as well while only getting down to 50 hp
Barb had its health and dmg nerfed after the attribute rework. Barb had 143 with Robust now you have 140. It's harder to build health than before. We had 15% Attack Power from 30 Str, now we have a base of 10% from 25 Str.
At least we got baseline faster, which is fitting for a barb, since Action Speed is still low
Would be nice but something like that would need to be granted to the player after their whole party is out of the game as it could grant information that might assist still living allies that you didn't notice or could not have known about, especially if its detailed

Normals bosses need to be balanced to the white only gear we can wear.. they are harder than HR bosses because we lack dmg/knowledge etc
When an ennemy is focused on you, if someone else come closer he should attack him aswell instead of serving as an ally

For instance, Warlock has infinite sustain, allowing them to pretty easily solo bosses as long as they don't get burst down or run out of time

They have the fighter, barbarian, rogue, wizard, and ranger roles, so that narrows it down a bit, assuming they picked those because they actually play them
soloing lich on any of those would be fairly difficult if not impossible with all the forced damage

does every goblin cave map has the boss? and yes is there a surefire way to find him? i know of the multiple level one but where else is he?
In 2/3 of the maps he is below the big multi-level room with the wooden scaffolding and can be accessed on either side of the room with a ramp going down.
On the original normal GC map he is below the room where the skele champion (or skele mage) can spawn with the water pool and two chests in the middle.
Either add more Wisps to Ruins or make it 5 to complete the quest, not only do I not have friends but this map blows lol

having the solo boss as a quest is fkin frustrating hope they change the it somehow that you are not always 1 tap
The only kill quest I have a problem with is the first Tailor quest, and that's simply because its one of the first quests you get and it sends you directly to hell
Sure killing a total of 25 wisps for two quests will take a while since they are all on one side of the map
but each time you spawn over there you can pick up a few
also Ruins has a ton of solo players going in, so not having friends isn't too much of a disadvantage, not to mention a 1v2 is super doable especially if you get the drop on them
as for the map blowing, can't say much about that, I personally love the map; even prefer it over Goblin Caves when playing solo

nerf crossbows and bows into the ground, but give ranger stronger perks that enable those weapons so that they retain their class fantasy. This way you don't have fighters and bards using ranged weapons arguably more proficiently than they do
Normal bosses are completely fine as is. The only issue is the warlord. My friend and I duoed ghost king as naked ranger naked rogue. Just keep practicing

Nah the wisp one is terrible design. 4 wisps per map an one of them usually kills itself before you find it. You gotta spawn close otherwise someone else will get it, because people bum rush those wisps to get the kills.

yep, pretty much. at least nothing that helped with damage. I had a white rapier, poison weapon. He had a white recurve. Ghost king actually doesn't do much damage.
scream does damage?
does damage based on the amount of stacks you have. one health pot will negate the scream and he only does it at certain HP thresholds.
before you complain about bosses being too hard i recommend learning and understanding them fully, the only one that's an actual issue is the warlord. The lich, GK, cave troll, and cyclops are all very easy once you understand them.

Buddy believes that normal's bosses should be easier to defeat than HR bosses, but the fact that in HR you can bring a solid set of gear makes that not the case
Modal seems unconcerned with the design aspect of the situation and is simply stating that once one is skilled enough, gear no longer is the major determining factor
I am more inclined to side with Buddy on this simply because there is little to no reason why high skill players should be invested in white lobbies, therefore white lobby design should aim to be for players with lower skill or confidence

I'd actually like to see the bosses get additional moves once you go into HR, like how some Nightmare enemies will do combo attacks
That way doing white lobby bosses teaches you the basics of the fight and then you get to figure out some more technical raid like mechanics in HR

Do you have an alternative in mind? Giraffe is very correct in identifying that have 0 ranged capability would be a massive nerf to Barbarian, and to a lesser extent Rogue (they do have Hand Crossbows via a perk but when not running that perk they have nothing else)
Spell suggestion : arcane tempest. Arcane type, level 3, 2 charges. 3 second cast time.
After a 0.5s delay, push back nearby targets 1m. While charging they cannot get within 1 meter of you. Also, while charging, you deal 10-30 damage per second to enemies near the edge of the 1m circle, ramping with charge duration for up to 5 seconds. Total damage 100, with each second of damage scaling 100%.
PVE usage: deals less damage than a single magic missile charge, but only gets 5x casting implement base damage, as opposed to 10x. This can be used to clear multiple melee enemies, however leaves you vulnerable to ranged enemies. Can be used when enemies are close to push them back and regain breathing room, without charging longer, for minimal damage.
Pvp usage: keeping the damaging radius tight allows any melee player pushed away to take a step away and not take much damage, while giving them room to swap to a ranged damage source, like bow, xbow, knives or frannys. A 3 second cast time, even with considerable cast speed and arcane mastery, still leaves some channel time to cast (note magic missile is 1.25 seconds). This allows rogues to still kill an unprepared wizard. Positive pvp outcomes of this spell would be using the knock back only to regain breathing room, the rare outplay instance of pinning an opponent in place with it.
Balance: this spell takes from the magic missile power budget, providing pve centric clearing from its high damage and ability to affect multiple enemies. Leaving the spell at a low spell level allows it to be regenerated at the same pace as magic missile. Keeping charge count at 2 prevents wizards from aggressively clearing rooms, but instead forces them to meter it out or rest frequently. It also reduces the amount of clearing power provided by a single campfire or meditation. With this spell, you'd have to reduce the effectiveness of magic missile, either by reducing its scaling back to 50% or reducing the number of missiles.
Big number is scary, but ideal design would make it difficult to use for damage in pvp, making it a PVE damage spell and pvp utility spell. A bit of nuance that I think goes well with wizard
you make a lot of comparisons to Magic Missile so when you say charging, do you mean channelling after you cast the spell or are you suggesting the spell has an effect as you charge it up?

I disagree if you want barbarian to be faster just play fighter. wizard speed is fine where it's at. if you can land 1 melee hit on a wizard you pretty much win the fight if you play it right. magic missel is pretty damn powerful but not unbeatable.

barb base speed shouldn't be changed. if you really care about being fast then run agility and dexterity gear barb is the most mind numbing easy class in the game. if you give them more base speed and they have iron will it just becomes even more op than it already is.

with the new reductions to speed now melee is determined on how far it can reach if you have a dagger compared to a two hander even a rapier you can be out ranged because of the slow that is added when hit by a person on top of the swing slow it makes it impossible to hit good players. They can keep you at range horrible design.

Last week, the game was quite balanced despite losing in a duel in any case, but from yesterday and today, the hacker rate increased dramatically, to be honest, all white ranks have to play with purple ranks. mixed with orange rank, when I changed to a champion, I met a group of naked chinese hackers who killed me with 2 hits while the total number of hits I got in was 4 hits. For a player without equipment using gray weapons, it's almost a joke. If devs want to ban hackers, they just need to focus on 3 Asian servers, then the game will almost never have a Chinese guy with poor performance who allows hacking to play.
Hackers just should go back to Tarkov where its fine

Many of the quests are absolutely ridiculous to complete. I imagine they'll look at the completion rate data for the next big patch and adjust them accordingly.

probably not the first person to suggest this, but I feel as though if you want to increase the importance of the Resourcefulness stat, small increments of Cooldown Reduction or “CDR” could be a potential candidate! There are some classes that could benefit greatly, but it also makes you have to choose between resourcefulness or another stat, because of the chance of getting that ability back during a fight before the opponent. It adds another element to the pacing of longer fights, because we aren’t all counting eachother’s timers out to the exact second. @keen onyx @dawn grotto

i'm gonna echo what i said before. this game needs a pve mode. literally for one reason, to reach to a broader audience to further fund the project. that's literally all. i'm not bitter because i died in a dungeon. i don't care. literally no one cares about how good anyone is at this game. no one cares. all they care about is playing a game they like. this project is so unique and spot on in so many aspects of what fantasy gamers crave, it's potential is deadlocked by the pvp turnoff. it's a computer program. remember that. since it's very first dungeon, players have dedicated their time to manipulating that program to win. hacks, exploits, whatever it is. it's just going to be the way of it. there will never be a way around that aspect of computer gaming. creating a standalone mode that seperates the user from that aspect would unlock so much potential in this project, the new life it would breathe into would be unfathomable. you'll always have people to chase around and kill in pvp mode, that will never disappear, but unless something changes, the game might.

i have a question out of all the classes what one is bottom tier? i have a problem with fighter stats. yes i know he is suppose to be well rounded. they are front lines yet barb, warlock, gets more str, vigor. which doesnt make sense. how am i suppose to defend front lines when our stats are shit for fighter. tell me why he needs 15 knowledge when he doesnt he benefit from that. im not asking for a buff but please fix his stats. i feel like he isnt a good class to pick for front lines
if you wanna tank try cleric, use all the tanks stats plus buffs plus the 30% damage reduction skill. Your an absolute unit if you do it right

yall should make a monk class quarterstaves, short swords and fistycuffs.
I've seen a couple different takes on potential monk classes
starting with a quarterstaff and having a perk or two focused on unarmed are good places to start
short swords being the most mobile weapon seems appropriate
probably give them access to throwing knives to give them at least some kind of ranged option

I was going to throw out an idea for a potential rework
It should be a perk, not an ability

After standing still for a few seconds while not in bright light the rogue goes invisible
any bright light brought near the rogue will pull them out of hide
This means that torches and lanterns will be able to counter this
however, there is no longer a duration, the rogue can sit there as long as they want
effectively, all this does is extend how big pitch black shadows are for the rogue, allowing them to hide in places that are bright enough to see but still outside the light
this also removes the oddly specific mechanic of Wizard's Light orb specifically counting Rogue's Hide, since now it is a general mechanic
this change also stops rogues from using Hide as a combat buff in combination with Ambush and Shadow Runner

wizard is way too overpowered. was fighting a centipede and he runs up and 2 shots me with lightning strike and then fights off a ranger immediately after with just a couple zaps. oh and he's naked btw. big surprise there. and i was almost full health. was only missing like 5-10hp no more than that.

Today I got this issue 2 times. Is it so hard to make it possible to reconnect without kicking you out of the game. Or is it possible to keep you in game and just give you or ur internet enough time to join?
Heres an Idea nerf Crossbows, they should not be able to one shot squishy builds long distance i got killed with a white crossbow 1 tapped from a fighter at 94% hp playing a ranger i should not be getting out ranged by a melee class build they should do damage similar to throwing axes or a little bit more not 90 hp and as i said its not fair that the ranger can get one shot from a crossbow fighter like what else is ranger even in the game for if there is another class that does more ranged physical damage

If you add the billhook to the game it would be nice if you made the special attack use the hook to drag enemies closer while doing a smaller amount of damage.
It would be historically accurate and I think it would add nice versatility to slow movespeed melee gameplay. Let's say a rogue gets a bit too close while trying to poke with the rapier - ops you got billhooked - and then the melee user can follow up with a normal strike.
If you haven't already thought of this because it seems kind of obvious for such a weapon and if you could manage to balance it.
Right now we have 2 weapons (and an instrument) that have weapon specific mechanics

As well as the blowthrough of the windlass
riposte is simply an alternate attack pattern with a different damage multiplier
so the Windlass' blowthrough is the most unique effect a normal weapon has
I would be interested in normal weapons with quirky effects but I feel that a pull is a bit too out there for one of the first couple effects
perhaps instead it could simply be an attack with a longer duration slow compared to what you typically see?
the Windlass for example applies a 55% slow for 2 seconds, having a weapon with similar slowing capability that you don't need to reload would be a very potent tool
After the update was released within 2 days, even though it took 2 minutes to search for each game, I didn't encounter any hackers or Chinese bastards. Today, the Chinese bastards and hackers started coming back, I guess I'm losing my mind. 2 days for the Chinese to use the hack for the new patch, a Barbarian using Zweiahnder with 120% running speed while fighting, a naked rogue with gray dagger killing players in full gear purple, a wall hacker cleric waiting for others to run Come and turn on the buff and run out to kill the player

Hmm. Well Orcs are strong and hardy. Since the game is still in early access and there aren't maps or different enviroments to suggest any traits for races. Orcs could be resistant to cold, maybe move boulders without tools, allow to eat fallen humanoids to replenish health, maybe see in a dark (have this special vision) etc.
Right now, it's difficult to suggest anything before we see more of the content.

Right now you get 65% of damae is Recoverable with a couple exceptions like Dark Swarm and Warlock Spell Cost which are fully recoverable
having more of your health be recoverable after a fight seem appropriate while not being too powerful
or if we wanted to get a little more crazy with it, orcs could slowly gain recoverable HP up to their HP max in exchange for less magical healing
would make them great with bandages but not so good with any healing spells or potions
For Skeleton, they currently have damage dynamic where they are less resistant to physical but more resistant to magic
we could take that idea of a defensive dynamic but turn it to something that you can't get with armor
So maybe we could use impact power as a medium for a damage modifier
Looks like the lowest impact power of a weapon is 2 with the daggers and a couple other weapons
the highest seems to be 6 with the windlass and warmaul, 7 if a warmaul barbarian is running Crush
though impact power is also negatively affected by the sweat/sour spot mechanic so the warmaul can be as low as 4.2
not sure exactly how to handle the numbers, but basically my idea is to have the Skeleton race more resistant to low impact attacks but vulnerable to high impact attacks
That would make them good against rogues and bows but weak against bigger weapons and barbarian in particular
and actually, I think many spells, like magic missile, also have impact powers since they do trigger shield reactions
though I'm unsure what their actual numbers are
In the next ice/cold map, I would like Ironmace to add hypothermia. You stay too long in one spot and you just freeze to death. Now imagine you get disconnected several times... 😉

How do the runes actually work with this idea?
it would be like having a spell memory youd have a channel time where I can imagine the player like inscribing a rune on a trinket of some sort than imbuing themself with the status effect

as well i had added a comment to my humonculus idea in DnD the artilerist artificer could make a flame thrower or balista or a guardian sentry (think healpad on soldier76 in OW) think that would be interesting swap too

The War Maul is the first thing to come to mind, it's just a giant hammer after all

Crystal sword would probably be a good starting weapon if they have the option for spells
while its not a tool in the traditional sense, it is a weapon that doubles as a spellcasting focus and that would give each caster a different starting focus

Being point blank with a two hander user and they cant do their full swing should diminish their power from their weapon, it only makes sense. If you cant break barricades without getting a full swing or crates or whichever, this should apply for damage as well.
This is already true for every 2hander except the halberd

Rogue skills should have a timer like BoC. If they want to turbo 3 shot people from stealth then they should have to commit, or the victims should have a reactable window while the rogues use their skills out of stealth.

Yo I feel like next wipe they should make it so leveling on your first character takes like 5x longer but your alts get an xp boost after you get to level 20, that way quests xp actually matters and it doesn't take 2 hours to level
Queueing with friends in goblin caves hr is really easy right now after the matchmaking changes. We tested and got into 6 lobbies together, and then got 3 of us in 2 lobbies together back to back. Something needs to change or goblin caves will be unplayable with teamers/spectate teamers.

thats not true. i mean i was wearing plate, so i can see how he did hella magic damage, but i also have high will to counter his high will. AND i used all my magic heals and he still killed me in just a few casts of curses. cleric isnt the strongest. but he's not weak by any means.

Of course they mention the unnamed region, since that was clearly the worst of it all, showcasing how blatant of an issue teaming is. This was not an issue exclusively to the "unnamed region" it is an issue across all servers and the issue is teaming players. If you do not condemn teaming, you are toxic to the game and "hostile and unpleasant" There is no middle ground. A solo mode IS A SOLO MODE. Have you tried playing solo on ruins? Like I said earlier there is a lot of other solos running that map and the larger spaces makes it much easier to avoid the groups of two. Additionally I have yet to notice anyone forming teams within the map itself

This last game that got me killed was cause of a fighter and a ranger both holding me out of the zone. I cant push two people so have to take a roundabout way back into the zone. you can watch a great video by oggression on it, a lot of weapons will just go straight through the longsword on the defenders screen because on the attackers screen it did not hit the longsword, also happens vice versa, the only screen that matters is the attackers screen in these interactions, also happens for shields although the discrenpancy is less because the shield hitbox is massive

This also means that you can't react parry, if you react to the swing coming at you with a flick in order to cover the spot, you will fail 100% of the time because you are several frames behind, what you are seeing is not what is happening on the server
if you want to parry an attack you need to be holding the exact position it is going to be coming from well before the attack would ever hit you, which means the weapon has near 0 skill expression
the falchion is the biggest offender of these problems because at least from what I can tell, it seems to have a forward reach inconsistent with its swing, as in its not a normal arc imo, it almost seems to follow an arc except the middle part of the swing is a lot farther than you would ever expect
ranger trap being guaranteed death for not noticing a tiny trap on the ground has been since day one a totally balanced and well thought out utility

As far as high level Rangers go, not every ranger cares about traps because their playstyle and teammates don't produce defensive opportunities
Hunting traps are an extremely potent tool on their own and the fact that they have seen so many significant mechanical changes is a testament to them being very hard to balance

You can ask pretty much any exemplar or voyager player if franciscas are needed. Having crossbow is also needed but for when/if you miss the shot you need franciscas to follow up, especially since every single barb is going to be bringing 2 rows of franciscas since that's optimal.

Not at all, I believe they can for still take fights and excel in the right hands even when you run out of frannies. I do however believe that the use of them will make many of the fights easier for engaging and disengaging. By no means am I saying a fighter wouldnt function without them but rather that to press the full advantage of their kit frannies are absolutely S tier and in my belief give them a nice utility to increase odds of winning a duel.
o/ Fighter main here. Can confirm franny axes are very useful but, context-wise, are used more often than not to break barriers/chase down escaping players
Aside from that, especially vs. a HR team who move well or use shields, you'll arguably be wasting time throwing axes at them and hoping for a hit that wouldn't warrant an actual push
I'm being a bit hyperbolic when I say they're ABSOLUTELY required, you will simply lose a lot of fights that you would otherwise win if you don't have them.

introducing an alternate back slot quiver item would be nice, holds your arrows to free up inventory space, but plenty of people have suggested that
honestly I could see them letting rangers use spears naturally and reworking spear mastery into a more general perk that increases their melee capability with any weapon
Kinesthesia (perk that lets you move faster with an arrow drawn) could probably be buffed a bit just to help out with poking and shooting while being chased

i could see the spear mastery change in the future I think a decent alteration could be a small leap or dash sort of mechanic to buff kinesthesia kinda like hanzo dash just off top of my head obviously not as spammy but could see that as helpful for them

Quivers are already planned so that wouldn't be much of a 'buff', they'll be going in bag slot though not on back.
Letting rangers use spears naturally is nice but it isn't really a buff to pvp since when you take spear as a ranger you take it specifically for pve clear, arming sword handcrossbow is the superior option for pvp.
Kinesthesia bumping up to 30% or something like that could definitely be working toward compensation for that.
I don't really have any good ideas for how to compensate for removing one of ranger's best tools in pvp. If you buff their ranged damage at all you make the class too strong (as we've seen in the past) and if you buff their melee damage you take away the class' supposed one weakness. Buffing their movespeed and other such things just makes them more frustrating to fight which would make more people call for them to be nerfed even if they aren't performing superbly.
yeah i get what your saying perhaps like a alterable arrow like a fire arrow a bleed arrow something like that additionally i will say if that were to be a feature we saw Id hope that the slow for these types would be reduced from their base on hit slow kinda as a trade off
as well as procing the anti heal for fire arrow like how fire mastery does maybe if you were to choose to not use just regular arrows maybe the bleed arrow would also force a blood trail so easier to track a potential kill
this one might be a bit of a weird one but what if rangers reloaded arrows one at a time rather than needing to complete a full reload animation?
overall it would take about the same amount of time to get all your arrows back, but if you're forced to cancel it early you still get a couple arrows ready
Status effect arrows would be too strong and the move speed slow (I know everybody hates it) is a needed part of their kit for being able to kite classes that are much stronger than them in melee range.

they should make all quests be able to be done on all maps - for example - maybe 2 direwolves spawn in GC so its not a lot but at least you can get it done - current questing sucks for solo players. Hackers have been tested too many times and now don't dare to do anything too much, but hackers use the old hack to take all the items in golden chests, lion chests or iron chests without opening or breaking the lock. This is a type of hack. The old hack dates back to the release of the game when Chinese hackers played too poorly and relied on hacking to collect all the items in the chest and exit the game without needing the blue portal. The current Crypt map has all the chests locked after breaking the lock. There are only a few scattered items left in the chest, which is the easiest sign of Chinese hackers in the game

I think that instead of MMR, there should be 2 entirely separate queues. One for people that have opted into trade hall, and one for the people that have not opted in to trade hall. This would still allow casual players to build good sets over time while being able to always play with any cool gear they loot, but it would put the people that want to buy fully optimized gear sets every run in trade hall into a different queue. This system focus more on the experience each player is aiming to have with the game rather than how skilled they are.

i think following the rune crafter/artillerist trope would be so interesting like a homunculus that could be a controllable sentry similar to hydra to cordon off an area either as flamethrower, eldritch cannon or guardian ( heal pad similar to soldier 76) or using spell memory too self buff maybe with a perk that could allow the player to share such and such buffs with his team
or an ability to modify weapons like access to a hand crossbow that could modify to have a repeating mechanic that would break after a 3 shots maybe? or increase his armor pen or some other aspect on his melee choice examples like a rune of weightlessness to increase the players action speed, or rune of sharpness to increase physical damage etc. etc.

Mate I am sorry but if you came to this game specifically for pve content with no pvp I think you just came to the wrong game. Devs know their playerbase, devs know the most people who play this game are not here because of the riveting pve content.
Also saying "Only 15k players" is rich, go look at steamcharts top 10 and tell me how much each game has. 15k is by no means a small amount and a valiant amount of players for a game to hold onto.
@dusky lotus I mean the white only mode doesnt stop you from collecting loot in game and you can wear more than whites if found in raid of course you have to remove it for the next run but its a tactic to stop those whom learned how to manage mobs, maps, game knowledge and build up equipment faster than that of a new or even average player and steam rolling an entire lobby, if youre losing in a specific circumstance multiple times to the same thing yes sometimes there is things that definitely need to be adjusted (as the game is not full release its early access but i digress) perhaps look at what you did in the games you lost I know no one likes to be told their not skilled and thats not what im saying but perhaps change your playstyle or find a way to adapt to what has happened also HR no longer is a gold cost for entry if you do choose to enter those lobbys yes the drops are better than normals and your going against other confident players I understand voicing your opinion and I encourage you too although perhaps find other ways to play around how others do the devs dont control their player base the player base makes the meta so the anger could be put into positive constructive critiques for the game/devs those that know more than you will take advatnage of their knowldge that doesnt mean game bad just means you still have to learn

PDR cap
This sort of depends on the game's overall damage pacing. Right now, one of the main benefits to playing fighter is that you aren't as heavily punished as other classes by what I view as a core problem with the game: 100% physical power / Strength scaling on ranged damage. If ranged damage scaling is nerfed in some way, then this nerf to PDR would be totally appropriate imo. In general though, I think Time-To-Kill in this game needs to go up*, rather than down [edit, got them reversed]. -
Traps
I agree and disagree in part here. First, Traps are one of the biggest assets that Rangers bring to a team over a Fighter. Tactical / Strategic placement is a rewarding mechanic and one of the few Ranger has going for it (at least in normals; and to a lesser extent also in HR). I think Traps shouldn't last as long as they do, nor should they require looking down to disarm. I'm not sure how I'd rework them, but having them only be a slow would murder Ranger in Crypts. That being said, they are generally trap = kill if your team is aware, so the power level could definitely be taken down a notch. -

Always in favor of more cool craft ideas. -
Static Hell Boss escape
I'd suggest making it a 3 man escape portal. There's no reason to reward the rogue tagging behind your group watching you kill the boss. But otherwise I think it's a good idea.

Golden Ore/Chests mini-boss
Seems cool to me. Particularly with the ore. For the Golden Chests, I'd like it if their value went up to accomodate for having to kill a mini-boss to loot. This is also a massive nerf to rogue specifically, but I think it's fine to make ratting a bit less rewarding (Looking at Rogue's leaderboard stats in every map). -
Hoard items more common
I'd get a little worried about them being too common for leaderboard reasons (Streamers, whales, etc). But that aside, I think the bigger issue is that taking a Key / Mystical Gem with you is a gigantic risk for a pretty mediocre reward. You don't guarantee the map. You don't guarantee the spawn. You don't guarantee the circle. If you die, you lose an item worth 8-10,000 gold. Bad design imo. -
Utility items
Always in favor of more crafts, haha.

- I think a lot of these can be addressed by just lowering the requirements. 15 leather caps and 15 campfires for players just starting the season with 1 stash tab is just insanity. A boat load of wisps when only 2-3 spawn per Ruins map is also insane to me. 15 (30?) Lich Kills and 10 Ghost King kills is also ruining normal Crypts right now. I'd like to see an increase to quest-kill mob spawns (in the case of wisps and Giant Spiders) - and also a lowering of requirements for a lot of other quests.
I appreciate the feedback, I agree with the problems with the PDR cap adjustments, overall I think scaling it downs gives them more opportunities to reduce the amount of damage total, while still making it effective generally.
For the take with traps, they could potentially have it so rather than being a root at the moment, they could do something where they shred armor, and have the root maybe 1-2 seconds rather than till you look down and disarm it. The armor shred could last over an amount of time of 8-10 seconds maybe. This would still allow for in team play to give options for punishing an aggressive push, but offering more options than insta-kill is always good imo.
I agree it could feel bad for it getting taken by a rouge after killing the boss, but I also think there would be an equally bad playstyle arrise where you kill the boss and another team comes to fight and than all 3 leave through the boss loot room, and could be equally as frustrating

Affinity (but not Quests) being Account Wide (So you can still get the quest rewards on every character but Service and Shop progression is consistant).
Something i'd like to see is a Left handed 1 hand casting tool so we can make use of magic rolled Lanterns on casting classes without it just being only useful with Blow of Corruption.
If you spawn in the Goblin Caves spider room 10 times, find/kill/loot an average of 3 giant spiders each time, then successfully extract each time, you will have had a 45% chance of finding spider silk.
For Centaur Hoof, assuming you successfully make it to Inferno 10 times, find/loot/kill all 3 centaurs each time, successfully extract after doing so, you will have had a 26% chance of finding a Centaur Hoof.
I think there might be a problem with some of the quests.
It's probably just a different drop rate, that's all it sounds like to me from that description.

Between me and my group that I play with, I think we've only had 1 crash incidents and that was a problem with the person's video drivers
We have had a few incidents where one or two of us DCed for no apparent reason but not any more common than other games
Now that I think about it, while stutters are common the game's stability has been very kind to me all things considered
im reading a lot of people say there's no PVP - i play HRGC and PVP is non stop aside from the occasional make friends guy and try to scumbag someone. Also, on ruins pvp is non stop and im just trying to quest. People chase me 3 modules when I'm naked with a grey staff just trying to kill a wisp
Well I'm focusing in on exactly how hard it is to find these mobs and kill them. Compare these quests to other "kill enemy" quests. You need to kill 30 giant spiders to have close to a 50% chance of seeing the silk. And then 30 centaurs is a 25% chance for Hoof. The Centaur Hoof being Tavern Master quest #8 means that you would have to get very lucky to have both "Kill Lich" quests active at the same time (Armourer #3, Tavern Master #9). Then Spider Silk gates Ghost King kills in Tailor #3. So currently I'm helping the people I play with get their ghost king kills, while they can't do anything to help me with a rare drop off an even rarer mob that doesn't even appear in every map of its dungeon.
I just don't think it's amazing design. A challenging quest is a good thing. A brain grind is not.

Oh no 100% it's abit bad right now, I do think luck should scale harder for crafting materials; maybe we could get some tools for scavenging like a Skinning Knife that if it's in your inventory it makes it so instead of it being 0-1 Pelts from an enemy it becomes 0-2 and slightly increases drop rate. Could be lots of tools the modify drop rates or drop quantities for target farming. Another could be elites of the related creature are ALSO more inclined to drop their materials with nightmares being even more inclined than elites as well.
im actually OK with the drop rates - the stuff you get and can craft from completing these quests is insane BIS. it should take a long time. again, my only problems are 1) solos are gated 2) certain classes are gated (at the very least it's more difficult IE Wizard killing cave troll although I know it can be done)
Spider Silk is a tier 2 quest. We literally can't unlock the quest to do Ghost King until we complete the Spider quest. The drop is essentially only possible in Goblin Caves. It's literally anti-solo gated lol.
So okay, you decide to do goblin caves to get it. Without really good luck, have a nice time trying to finish within 100+ goblin caves runs. % chance to even kill giant spiders or find the person who did, % chance to spawn in the room, % chance to not be teamed after killing them, 2% chance it drops, only 3 giant spiders total. 1 out of the 3 maps doesn't even have any that spawn.
i hear ya - i only play GC and ive had no problem getting the silks. The problem is - as a solo I simply can't complete the boss quests and the quests on the crypts are hard, however anyone can go into GC if they want

Oh it's the highroller map. Its layout can roll down to Norms. I didn't know that. But it looks like the giant spider density is a lot higher for highroller. Two rooms spawn them, that's interesting.
I've been doing normals figuring it's faster. Maybe that's the wrong strategy to farm silk.
Higher droprates in HR GC, lower chance of getting out because people actually have good gear and are more likely to kill you.
Best strategy is to go into HR GC geared and bring a luck potion.
Looking on the wiki, is there a higher droprate for spider silk from Elite Giant Spiders? It shows a flat 2%, but I accept that some of their information is outdated.
I'm speaking in general, I don't know exactly if giant spiders are affected.
If you ARE Going to use the luck potion strat though you MUST go HR because you can't bring luck potions into norms.

I think having both "Mimics and Money" AND "Bedtime Stories" as a pre requirement for the alchemist quest is delaying alchemist progress too much. Especially since the Alchemist quest also requires some rare mobs (wisps)

fighters by far the most dominant and played class and you want to nerf their softcounter, makes sense
Wizards should absolutely counter Fighters, not the issue. The issue is they're so strong they counter everything now, even Barbs with magic resist struggle against them. And if a class which is already a natural counter to Fighter is already so strong vs. every other class (aside for Rogues which are also OP as hell) then it's amplified massively vs. Fighter
To be fair, the scaling on magic missile is kinda wacky
landing just two of the missiles gives you 200% , more than any other spell, with the exception of Ignite but that is a weird spell to talk about scaling
while its easy to dodge most of the missiles, if the wizard knows what they are doing you are bound to get hit by a few of them
I think the biggest issue is where the wizard's power is allocated, not how much power they have
Don't forget Lightning Strike either, it's funny how they nerfed Holy Strike for Clerics because it was an insta-landing spell but Lightning Strike lands 0.5s after cast 🥴
Oh and it half healths most characters in the game
What if they moved the 20% slow to the start of the spell and increased the delay before the damage hits
that way if you can predict when the wizard will release the spell you can jump to preserve your speed and get out of it

It should match the Holy Strikes time to land which is about 1.5s I think? The absurd damage it does would absolutely balance that out regardless, but yeah it'd introduce more counterplay for sure.
Imo Chain Lightning is such a powerful and vital spell that it should also either have 1 less charge or 1 charge altogether. Especially because it can be chained off mob/player bodies
I don't actually see many wizards running Chain Lightning anymore
If it is that problematic they could always adjust the damage loss each time it chains
maybe increase its starting damage to compensate and make wizards want to land the first hit on the enemy while still leaving the option to target a body instead for subpar damage

MM could be 75% scaling, probably should buff Fireball damage a bit in exchange since it's fallen off, nerf crossbows and bows by around 15%. Nerf fighters sprint to ~30 movespeed or so and grant Bards a bit more starting memory. As a package of changes that could be ok.
Oh its absolutely a critical spell, if you land a chain as a geared Wiz on HR it basically constitutes your team a free push. It dealing less damage each time it bounces is something I'd be fine with, though I still think it should have 1 less charge regardless
I suggested MM having a 0.75 scale so agreed there, Fireball COULD use a small buff but the anti-heal burn is so strong right now I'm not sure about it.
Fine with less dmg on xbows as long as the armor pen remains, Sprint should remain the same since Second Wind was nerfed down to 40% (doesn't sound a lot on paper but it was a BIG hit regardless). Can't comment on Bards, they seem fine currently
Have you considered the Story Teller perk to help with Bard's Memory or is that still too little in your opinion?
Sprint at 50 is ridiculous, every single fighter runs it. It's more than 17% movespeed for anyone under 300 while most other movespeed buffs were nerfed (haste from 12 to 5, bard buff duration and effect nerfed).
I think the perk is fairly weak, its just probably too niche since a lot of classes don't benefit too much from knowledge/will.
Think bard honestly needs a few more changes, including some QoL ones. Personally I think it would be much nicer if you could play all songs with all instruments but the instrument changed the duration/effect in some way. But I'm also not a bard main so I think my opinion here might hurt the class for people that enjoy that
I just think it's a bit too clunky and as a result it kinda hinged on flat stat increases in the past carrying it and letting you use the OP crossbow/rapier to make the class work despite that clunkiness

I think it would be interesting if the numbers were bigger but the Knowledge was given to only the Bard and the Will was given to only the other party members
the Bard knows a lot of stories, giving him knowledge but the stories he tells gives his friends a moral boost reflected in the Will boost

Not saying the stats don't do anything, but they aren't the stats you're gearing for in many cases. Comparing it to the closest equivalent which is rogues' Jokester, it just seems far inferior. Then again compare it to Wizard's Sage and it's still far better, giving about twice the amount of stats unless very geared AND to your entire team.

MM is definitely designed with PvE in mind so any changes need to consider the impact that has on wizard's PvE capability
Crystal Swords with magic dmg stacking go kinda hard tho
I'd also change ignite a bit probably. Give it like 12 swings and a 30 second duration, whichever runs out first. Buff the damage to like +8 per swing but remove +added damage scaling. That way its less about fast weapons like a dagger and you can actually support your team with it because its not tuned around having added damage.
Haaaaard disagree, Ignite is strong enough as it is. It scales up from Will/Magic Dmg, and I might be wrong but I believe it also applies the heal burn
the ignite playstyle is completely dead for a long time now and its never been good for buffing teammates unless they built very specifically for it
scaling with will/ or % magic damage never mattered. and I suggested removing the +added scaling that is actually been the problem in the past
I like the idea, but a simpler way to make it work better with slower weapons would to have the damage all be in a DoT
Rather than having extra damage on every swing, it applies a non stacking damage over time that last like 3 seconds or so
3 seconds might not be the right duration, but long enough where slower weapons aren't missing out on damage but short enough where fast weapons keep the DoT going more consistently
Oh actually, Fire Mastery already increases burn duration by 2 seconds, so just moving the damage to the DoT works since if you want to use it with a slower weapon you can just equip the Fire Mastery perk to not lose out on the damage

could make it so Ignite applies some other debuff, either along with its small DoT or instead of a DoT
maybe like a base kit heal cut, stackable with Fire Mastery's heal cut
Or perhaps it could grant the attacks armor penetration for even more anti PDR
With the armor penetration idea, it makes it so it scales with both the wizard's stats and the attacker's stats, making it a better support spell
The little bit of magic damage gets boosted by the wizard but the armor penetration is more valuable on martial classes

Ignite is amazing for dealing with Fighters and Clerics, and if you Ignite a front line Cleric who also uses Smite you can half health a geared Fighter with one headshot

Hear me out.... Lightning mastery for wizard, 5% damage bonus with slows from lightning strike and chain lightning being strengthened by maybe 15% or so. Maybe even consecutive strikes decreases charge time.
Think it would be nicest if it changes the gameplay more than just the numbers. So for example 5% damage and for 5 seconds after casting a Lightning Spell the cast time of your next Lightning Spell is reduced by 0.5 seconds.

Can we have the option to change our starting loadout permanently? For example on rogue you only start with one dagger instead of having two equipped or you can start with no pieces of armor equipped for example.
On my Rogue I move my torches down one slot and always split my daggers up
And for ranger I know some people differ on what side of their inventory they prefer their arrows
Oh, not to mention Bards might want their instruments set up a particular way
In no way is this a needed change, but it would be a very nice one
rogue ability called mind games, when pressed then send out 10 audible footsteps in whatever direction they are looking (can be used while hiding without giving away position)
for the love of god can you guys please place more balance change weight on solos. every since you changed the match making and made the range of games FAR tighter im playing against ONLY PDR fighters as a barb and now im getting fuckin salty.

the balance issue is the fatc that fighters literally can cross rooms in PDr very fast and killing one takes your whole fucking life to do and then you auto die to the third party. i can be third partied by any other clas or fight multile of any other class and my skill will dictate if i win. my skill doesnt counter vs PDr fgthers. even if i have the drop witha fully kited zwei hitting 150s i hit a PDr fighter 4 times before he sees me and then 2 more times he doesnt die and 3 hits me in 1/4 of the time with a falc
its fucking WILD and that class is a solo class dominator . esp since casters rarely play solo. i just lost my demi god last nigth bc of it. not to mention they also like to play halberd which we know is actually broken.

The way this game is balanced is currently around trios. Devs have openly stated that multiple times, though the nerfs to things like slayer fighter and barb blood exchange make me think that they kind of flip flop on this point a lot... cause I don't think ANYONE was going around saying that slayer fighter is broken in trios.
If they ARE going to balance the game around every mode then they should probably just do it openly rather than pussyfooting around like they have been thus far.
right. that was going to be my next point. they are just kinda doing whatever and its kinda cringe. but the solution to this is easy. just make a handful of perks for every class that would clearly be trash in trios but make the game balanced in solos and or have them only as perks you can pick for solo.
as it stands the only things i can do to fight PDR fighters is 1 pray they are REALLY bad. 2 outplay them and PRAY they dont have GG gear. 3 pray i dont die right after even if i win. Reckless being a 1 time thing thats so easily blocked and a waste on limbs is so CRINGE
I think that adding perks to the game that have qualifying text in them that says: "When you are not within x amount of meters of a teammate then..." would certainly be a good way to add some extra balance to solos, and also give players that decide to go solo in ruins/crypts a fighting chance + the added benefit of when your teammates die, you have a leg up over just being dead in the water.
So yeah I think that could be a good idea. Currently solo gameplay just feels like rock paper scissors. As a ranger main when I see the 'rock' to my scissors that is a PDR fighter main I basically never take the fight. Meanwhile a naked wizard can run up to and instakill a purple-kitted fighter if they don't hit their crossbow.
yeah and im all for a rock paper scissors feel, however i feel like you shoudl always be able to outplay and win. i think the game needs to be pusshed more towards how you play and less about getting 3 tapped by a falc user who has the most MS in the game
The problem is definitely the MS meta.
As a ranger if I run into my counters which are:
A. A PDR fighter
B. A sufficiently kitted barb
I always have the option to run away, kite into traps, use pinning shot and such.
I understand other classes don't get such luxuries when facing counters though. Sure, a warlock can phantomize away, a wizard can haste away. If a barb has to run away from a matchup he can't win though it's a little harder because you don't get that MS luxury.
I know they already made changes to the MS meta by capping it, so I'm not sure what else they could do to push away, maybe exploring perks that give more variety of play in solo situations as you said is the right idea.

Like I don't think a fully kitted PDR fighter should be invincible to some classes, and literally die to naked versions of other classes. That just feels like it's way more about the matchup than any player skill involved.

I would like to have the weaponsmith always with all grey weapons. i hate it, that my prefered weapon is not buyable. Also a Magical nerf would be nice, like cooldown on skills for all magical classes, also wizards need a dmg nerf aswell.
@dawn grotto I apologize for the ping, but please do something about the spider silk quest. Its only available from giant spiders, which are predominantly on GC. Only 2 of the GC maps have the room with them. In that room, if you get there, triple death beetle can slow you to a standstill, dying to spiders. Players could contest you. You have to hit 3 pressure plates to even access the spiders. The drop chance is 2%, so minimum youre running 300-500 goblin cave runs, hoping for the right map, hoping for a good spawn, hoping you survive getting there, and theres still a Very low chance to get the drop. On top of ALL of this, you still need 3 dark fabric, and >15< old cloth. This quest gates caster's chest pieces and its ABYSMAL to grind. Please consider speaking to the team about addressing this. Thank you.

Add a training dummy to Stash so we can store armor/ make it so you can only put one of each armor type. Similar to a gold chest so we can save more room. just an idea

its just an idea, cause its way too easy so spam skills with warlock/wizard/cleric and is momst rpg like games theres cooldown on skills, for a reason, like warlocks can easy place one hydra after another to block door entrys, its simple and effective and a way too hard to play against. also wizard spaming all theirt skills after another x) ok i mean at some point there skills are empty, but good wizards than already killed minimum 2 of 3 ppl in the other team. also spaming all chain lighting after another against a team (with corpses laying around or a teammate tanking the shots) is way too easy. i mean all this is fun when ureself are playing it, but its, in my oppinion, noit balanced. just my oppinion and suggestion.

Barbarians need a dash, a fast uncontrollable dash that sprints forward to close gaps or make distance. Getting in a fight with ANYONE with ranged capability just feels awful. Its either option A) wait around a corner until they MAYBE blindly walk into your strike zone or B) attempt to hold your ground/push and get pelted with arrows or magic. Ive gotten to the point where i can dodge magic, and arrows rather well, but it means nothing when the attackers can kite back so easily and continue firing while you make virtually no progress to getting closer to them. The "fantasy" of being a barbarian includes not wearing armor, so, in theory, you are capable of chasing people down. I dont expect the moevement speed of a rogue, but the class needs something similar to a Charge in a straight line for x amount of feet, screaming and holding your axe up high.

Watching the match after escaping, I discovered that 3 Chinese bastards used the wall to chase them but luckily they were able to run away. After watching, the 3 Chinese bastards continued to use wall hacks to look at the players and control them. Especially, it is possible to check other players' equipment and gear from a long distance. Ranger using wall with aim bot just runs and shoots randomly and it will automatically hit the head. Reporting also does not work because IronMace does not check.

You forget that the majority of the wealthiest players dont play gc, so getting good rings is virtually impossible from other maps, therefore theyre very expensive. Plus good rolls on rings is rare to get. The price is justified
Revert the changes to ironwills magic resist, and possibly remove every single fucking lazy ass "increase your magic resist by x" it's lazy and the fact it directly counters like two classes is unfun.

Cleric is insanely strong In GC super fun class to play solo imo it does take a bit to get used too but only class you might have trouble with is a ranger and a wizard because you don’t have a way of getting in close to them but they are very strong solo

I dont think casters are unbalanced. Casters do better against melee and terribly against ranged weapons. That's how it is.
