It would have an effect you could easily charge down a slower class and put the fight into your advantage i don't see how that wouldn't and i think it would help with how the class can engage a fight since it lacks a lot of power in its class making it so you dont have to only using blow of corruption as a source of winning a 1v1.
you can already chage down classes with phantomize, being able to end it early would only give less wait time for both participants, either way it gives move speed and you cant be hit. you just have to wait to exit

It would be great to set up an item level (starter to green/blue/epic & more) for don t be clean up by full purple guys when you are grey ... it's not fair & not fun at all. Today (yes it's the reset tomorrow i know) but i get killed 6 times in a row by purple/orange guys roaming in the basic dungeon 3 player ... i've quit for the afternoon.

is it just me or should there be a way to avoid wipes or they should be removed? i mean the stash already feels small and at best you could fit a few high gear kits into your loadoutw/ capes heals and pots + money from previous excursions (especially lvl wipes)
Probably one of the worst classes in the game.
the games wiping quickly cuz there removing exploits and there testing different changes. They might also add new content.

Hey DandD team, loving the game, but one thing I'd like to see is the removal of flat weapon damage on items. Stats are fine, as these things scale properly, but +weapon damage is broken the smaller you're weapon's base damage is. Weaker weapons are balanced around having fast attack speeds so adding flat damage is completely broken. % damage would be better and much easier for you guys to scale/balance properly. My two cents!

If Rogue stays like it is, more than 50% of players that mostly play solo will play only rogue when solo. I'm not complaining, i never played rogue but after wipe i'm gonna play only rogue when i'm solo xD

there are ways to avoid that from happening, the market it's destroyed, see the feedback from players, only players that will agree with the current market it's the ones profiting from it, Gold sellers that are 24/7 announcing the sites, scammers and the list goes on and on, even if they don't use the market i suggested, something gotta change and a lot of players will uninstall the game if it doesn't change.

I just got a good idea for buffing Wizard that would make sense for the game's world:
-Zap and Chain Lightning now deal increased damage to targets based on how much metal they are currently wielding.
For example:
-Players who are running metallic armor will be dealt 3% increased damage from the attacks per item.
-Players who are running plated armor will be dealt 4% increased damage from the attacks per item.
-Players who have metallic objects in hand will be dealt 3% more damage per weapon or item that is metal, in hand.
-Players who have objects in hand with metal, but have wooden or leather handles, will be dealt 2% extra damage instead.
-Gloves such as the Leather or Rawhide Gloves will nullify damage increases to weapons that are metal.
-Rings and Pendants count as metallic armor and will gain the same 3% penalty.

you do realize scripting and modelling is two different jobs lol, it wont delay any development if they hire separate work force to complete QoL changes like new races for example that does not require the main scripter to divide his attention

Who said anything about right now? It is for future development, maybe half a year ahead, I paid for founders to support the developers, not to use the skeleton race which I don't even use. It's about having a better mindset to support what you love, clearly I understand you have personal issues regarding your lack of income and the inability to share support

MAKE SOME SORT OF SKILL BASED MATCHMAKING OR SOME TYPE OF WAY WHERE SOMEONE JUST STARTING TO PLAY THE GAME DOESNT HAVE TO DEAL WITH LVL 20 SWEAT LORDS WHO HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT PLAY THIS GAME in seperate lobbies. It is not fun having all grays and going through a dungeon with your friends to CONSTANTLY run into groups with nothing but purples and oranges who do not take damage from you and one hit you. Fix this please for the love of god.

There is like 25% of the whole playerbase complaining the same thing.
And in the same time, people will say "They risk losing their gear by going with such a high tier gears and that it is possible to kill them with spawn kits, just wait for them getting third-partied"
I have seen third party happening less than 10 times within my ~30 hours gameplay in Early Access, that totaling the third party rate of ~1/15, and given that purple gear are like ~1.6 times better than starter in both ATK and DEF (Along with the ring and other equipment that gives extra buffs), that results in 1 Fully purple geared person = 3 starter gear person.
Good luck waiting the so called "Third party" event happens.

Either remove traps from the game for rangers or limit the amount they can use, people out here be abusing traps like crazy.
Thats why u have solos buddy. To loot up quick and prepare urself first before running as a team. U will always face tryhards everywhere, half of the people complaining about this wear greens all the time. The only thing i would say needs balancing is the special weps u get from bosses. Those are just too much.

The main issue is that there is no risk bringing Full purple gears and have meta build into the dungeon.
You wipes everything in the path.
Plus if you have full purple, chances are you know the game very well.
So this turns the game into "Serving the top 5%".
And it is actively discouraging new player from even trying. Increditably unhealthy and will drive the game to death (Don't expect the top players to pay like 20$ MTX per month to keep it alive, many games ended up like that when it is design to be pure hardcore and nothing else)
How often do you go in with full purple gear?
Once every 6-7 match before the wipe announced.
But once that got announced it is once every 1-3 matches.
It got so often so suddenly that one of my friend who regliously defends this game got burnt out from constantly getting deleted by full purples.
If I hit a guy literally 10 times with a green sword and my duo hits the same guy 4 times in the head with his green bow, the enemy is question should be dead. Not only at half HP. That is the issue. All because if gear.
How often does your purple ranger get randomly assassinated by a green rogue? How often does the purple wizard get bonked in the head by a blue longbow and just slumps over? If you don't permanently run your set, sure, maybe you got lucky. But when you run full gears often you see how this game changes completely. And that is great. Because if low gear play and high gear play is the same, what the fuck am I collecting gear for?
When this is 10 raids in a row that is the issue. It isnt the same people over and over. It is every raid.
Are you powerful? Yes. Are you "overpowered and immortal running through every enemy"? No.
Against andies that just clash into your face like idiots maybe.
I roughly play the game for 5-6 hours. I farm around 3k gold early gear up and survive, trade and exchange. thats about it.
Every raid has at least one team full of purples and oranges who just decimate the lobby. I do not see how it is such an issue to make a way that newer accounts tis play with newer accounts unless the people who are steam rolling suck so bad they can only win with a huge advantage like that.
Playing the game 5 to 6 hours a day. I hope to God you have a job, so theres 8 hours, and 8 hours of sleep. That means you spend 2 hours not on this game, probably eating. Thank you for proving my point you sweaty fuck.

We have this conversation like twice a day, and whenever I ask people what I am even collecting gear for on their version of the game I don't get a good answer.
However, I think a matchmaking pre- and post-trader unlock would be fun. If all players in a party are under level 10, you get your own dungeon matchmaking.

I play 20 matches to collect enough stuff to run a decent gear, which most of the time isn't even that great (green and blue with a purple weapon I bought). If I don't feel like I can overpower a group of fresh spawns in their undies head on, what am I even collecting for? I will just play mordhau.

You know guys.. they should nerf wizard more. From now on wizards should pay to learn their spells. I came up with perfectly balanced formula so wizard would stop being broken from beginning of the wipe. 250 gold * (1+level of a spell). This would create a perfectly balanced gameplay where PDR rules the game and we no longer would see Wizards in games.
Talking about Skill base matchmaking/ Gear base matchmaking.
Not nesscery making separate dungeon matchmaking, but probability based matchmaking with gear score weighting.
Having Gear score assigned inversely 2^gear rarity: Unique is 128, Legendary is 64, ... , Junk is 2, sums everything up and obtains a final score.
Then have that number multiply by inverse of level. (Final number capped at 65535 per player)
Then when matchmaking, looks up the server with the closest number a random server to matchmake into, with a probability of not joining if the player gear score is away from the server average (If the gear socre is average, then 100% joins, otherwise fails to join propotions to how far away the gear score is to the server average)
When matchmake fails, waits for 1 seconds, relookup the server list and finds the closest to average server to join a random server again with half the failuare rate 4x success rate.
Repeat until that team joins. (Given the Join Probability and wait time, your matchmaking time should not exceed 35sec at the absolute worse case, and overgeared person matchmaking time average should be ~25sec, probility need lots of microadjust from time to time)
That should:
Noticeability reduces the chance of a fully gear player wiping the whole server, but not making that event impossible.
Prevent player burntout from getting repeatly tortured by fully geared player.
While not screwing up matchmaking time by too much.
So lets say, I am in my undies, who am I matched with?

You will match against player in Gray/Whites at around level 12-15.
Change the system to "Randomly throw you into a server" instead of looking up average should solve the "oversymetrical" issue. It should only reduces the probability of new player being matched to fully geared, not impossible,
It is shifting the matchmaking bias, not straight up SBMM
For example:
You are a fully purple geared player, your gear score should be 12K, and given the droprate you are top 0.1% player.
Assumes that there is 200 servers on all the time, given the amount of player in FUll purple chances are you will not get throw into ELOed server.
What will happens is that you fails to join the server the first time, then the success rate starts to increases, it keep increasing until you got into a server.
What that matchmaking really did is to try to shift the probability bias of you joinning a lesser geared server, not to SBMM the server.
That could work or could drain all fun of the game and getting geared
I think, stop being a precious little sunflower and accept this is a harcore game. Don't ruin it by adding SBMM, it will force every lobby to sweat. I enjoy versing better opponents bc it helps me improve and lets me snowball if I get lucky killing a geared player. #bringbackbullying

They ran out of money because the hardcore player drives the newbies away.
Newbies does not get converted to hardcore player (or at least season player).
And then revenue falls fast.
And then they need to make money to survive.
So they start making more aggressive MTX to surivie.
Hardcore player quites.
Game die.
We need to find the balance of having the asymetrical matching while not completely noob unfriendly.
Getting kicked by purple is part of the game, but when that happens once every 2-3 rounds you automatically kills off like 1/3 of the playerbase.
I can also see that a skillbased matchmaking is innevitable at some point.
SBMM will cause the hardcore player to complaint and quits, not good.
No SBMM whatsoever shrinks the playerbase to hardcore players and repeils new players, not good.
With a probability matchmaking system at least you can blame RNG for matching you to a purple gear.
So seriously if so called hardcore players would complain that they are getting matched with people of aprox even skill, that is just lowkey selfesteem issues.
I do not want gear/skill based matchmaking. I like the idea that when I queue up I could run into random nakeds or a geared sweatsquad.
It does suck dying to people with way better gear than you, just cause they have better gear... but... it's like 3 seconds and you can start another round for free, and hey if you DO manage to beat them then that is an AMAZING feeling that you will not have replicated with gear/skill based matchmaking.

This game, not only have no safety whatsoever (No insurance, No safety pouch), but it is CQB 95% of the time.
It is MUCH MUCH harder to fight against fully gear person in this game than tarkov.
It is much more hardcore than Tarkov.

I take issue with you saying there's no way to kill the top geared players. Just the other day my team of nakeds with greens being the most geared of us took down a full purple/blue sweatsquad on our own against the odds.

I do think that it should be much harder to kill someone with much better gear than you yes, and I do like the idea that I can run into these people and occasionally I might even outplay them to such a degree that I am rewarded handsomely for my efforts.
Just recall, My whole suggestion is to have a probability bias that cause the fully gear player to less likely to join a lowgeared server, by around 20-50%, not to make that event impossible.
Nah, I think it should be a grab bag of players. That makes it more fun with less predictable results. The game is fine how it is right now with matchmaking, I really enjoy it.

The whole thing is a draft before sending it to the suggestion board so don't be agressive.
I agree on gear based mm not because of the unfair matchmaking but because if you are geared you will go against geared aswell and have better loot if you kill them not just killing nakeds waste all the time but the problem is that rarity is not the only thing to take into a fact but mods aswell for example a blue with good mods can be better than purple with bad mods
That is usually what high roller is for. High roller loot is 10% what you find and 90% looting hr players.

And why do they do that? Because it isn't worth bringing good gear when you are matched against equally well geared players.
add a rucksack that players can buy from a merchant that can be equipped, has its own inventory space, and can be placed down/dropped. It would slow down movement speed but allow a player/party to carry more supplies, collect more loot, adventure longer, carry their fallen teammates gearm, etc.
it could also add more depth to the fight or flight decision making when in the dungeon, because teams or solo players will have to decide if they want to drop their rucksack to run away, or fight back to keep whatever they have hoarded in their bag. I personally think would be a massive and awesome addition
The problem I see with what you are cooking up rn is that we have a high risk, same reward kind of situation. If I go in full grey with other grey players, it is low risk, same reward. Why would I ever want to get out of my undies?
Especially when I get matched with other greys. The reason I put on green blue gear is because then at least I stand a chance against well geared teams. If instead "I got a chance" this turns into "I will face them and they will be as well equipped and geared as me", why would I ever go in if not full purple or bust?

A normal Ranger will have a base gear score of 18 before level.
If you put a purple bow into the max all of a sudden the number inflats to 48 before level.
That will makes you have like ~20-25% less chance to being put into all grey gear match, not impossible,

Nakeds in high roller is no problem. This games principe lives from risk reward. You risk 100 gold in excange for possibly nothing or a good reward.

Given that the game keep track of the Merchant sell value of each item, maybe have a minimum cost.
If your gears does not equals to 150gold or more you need to pay more, up to 250golds, and min entry cost remains at 100g.

if a naked is going into HR it means they dont have much gold to start with and they're taking a risk to get rewards, if players run into naked in HR they can just oneshot them if they dont already die to mobs.

I have said a plan about making a small matchmaking bias with gear score (~10-15% per tier) to reducing the chance of normal running up to purple but not make that event impossible.
i think you're missing the point of HR, you dont need SBMM or anything like that, if you have a gear based MM and people in full purples sit forever to join a normal lobby, thats good? you want to incentivize BiS players to be doing HR not just stomping scrubs for clips.
players in normal games risk everything they have to extract (whether its blues, greens, maybe they find 1 purple and want to extract etc) but the fully geared players dont go HR why? because then they'd be risking their full set?
if they have the gold to have a full set of purple (and no doubt surplus gold from the walking money bags that bring loot to them for free) then they should pay the small fee of 100g to play against similar matched players.
not only do they borderline oneshot anyone but even the mobs don't pose a threat and can just walk through champ rooms soloing everything, there's literally no point to geared players in normal lobbies other than just scoreboard hunting.
and with the gold creep that items get going into the higher tier, they should be getting more gold from HR to fund more upgrades but why risk what they have when they can just everything from the under geared players and sell it on trade

Naked players destroy the game economy (i myself made more money going hr crypts alone as a rogue than playing hr goblin caves or playing hr with friends with other classes). I had more issues getting slowed down and made waste time from naked and grey players in HR than i had as a grey player fighting geared people in normals. The only time it was different was when they remover leaderboards and HR people flooded normal games (myself included) which in retrospect was a mistake

the only reason why naked solo can reasonably make money in HR (i did the same) is because no one even plays it

there's a few problems that need to be addressed.
- with the current nerf to healing and basically the fastest way to heal is 1 potion and rest, they need to either flat out remove cleric healing, or severely nerf it. playing team without a cleric or bard is a massive handicap.
- lootpool of HR is bad because economy was ruined from loot piles and gold exploits so there was so much gold and items in circulation why risk in HR
- lower admission cost
The only reason i dont play HR it's because im actually loosing more money on the healing then im getting from it
as solo rogue i was able to easily make 500g-1k trips per HR game

5/10 games i was only person in the lobby, 3/10 games theree was maybe 5 people and they were all naked solo's as well, only once in a while would a team come in, and they were geared to go bossing so they didnt care about hunting players anyway

i did it to earn gold, once i had a set and a backup set, i just went in with gear and progressed to solo hell
Do an warmup map, where you can test your abilities, damage, movement etc etc
i dont think we have any issue more or less than any other player base, but because our player base is smaller the issue is more apparent.
if there's less total players then those who are gate keeping normals means the % of people actually able to progress is a lot smaller, and because of a lower playerbase there's less geared players to contest the others in normal games

I think you also have a feedback issue of lack of people in hr. If there is no enough people to form a full lobby people just don't join hr. in EU normal hour times i had no issues getting full lobbies. At "gaming hours" however... i did like 3 runs of solo or just 2 people on goblin HR and then i stopped trying stuff in gaming hours
the general concensus from most players i've spoke to is why do HR when you pay 100g admission fee, the enemies are harder and more risk to lose your set and unless you're bossing the main benefit to HR is getting purples or gold.
so if you can play normals, not pay admission fee, mobs aren't an issue and you can pvp other players with purples for that loot (which will have good stat rolls because they're actually wearing it) and you can make just as much money by killing a whole lobby and pilfering through the loot, why risk it all?
adding a gear score match making will do nothing but benefit the game, force geared players into actually doing content designed for them, will allow new players to not just get rolled by stack teams (when most new players have a hard enough time fighting AI)
and anyone complaining about long Queue times for normals are just a part of the problem and should be doing HR instead

I have seen it way too often where people will open a escape portal and wait until the timer is almost out to get those last few kills. It isnt super common but it is frustrating enough when it does happen. I can also see where it can be abused as well. if they auto close then people would just open them just to limit extracts

wizard is a lot of fun tbh, just feels weak against pve since the most viable spell for it is magic missle.
fireball seems good for pve imo
most of my experience is running it solo, With the spell recovery rate of fireball i always try to save those for pvp encounters. using 3-4 fireballs to kill skellys when it take so long to recover them is kinda meh. maybe with better gear it feels better.

my only counter to that is every class in the game has meaningfull active skills and if you want to compare to the most played class, having sprint and 2nd wind is pretty dang good compared to having to sacrifice your active skill slots to meditate and spells. and if using the perk also gave the same hearing issue that meditate gives i think it is fair. meditate is loud as heck

yeah i tried my best to give barb a shot but it felt very underwhelming compared to other classes. I mostly play solo so my experience is based off of that
When solo or even in a team there just isn't much you can do as a class you need teammates to give support when using skills like life siphon and rage fear isn't as good anymore and Achilles puts you in a bad position since you have to aim down

Rogue should get hidden pockets and lock pick as a passive. Already a super perk saturated class
I thing lockpick should be base kit for rogue but not hidden pockets it is worthy of being a perk

I think the game is around PVP - this being said I recall seeing a suggestion for a "training room" - where you can spawn enemies or dummies and test weapons

Pvp is a important part of the dark and darker experience, I do think something that would benefit the game is reducing the lobby population a little bit.

What about a tab system in the main inventory. One for gold, weapons/armor, hunting items, consumables. Complete quests from vendors to unlock and expand more squares. Don’t know if it’s been brought up before. Would tremendously free up space
I cannot count how many times I have had other players rush in on the room i spawn in on. from my personal experience the density seems high. I rarely play goblin caves or ruins So i am basing this off of crypts play. but even when i do play ruins or goblins it happens often enough

They bumped it up because too many people played friendly and escaped in goblin caves. Some point they nerfed number of exit and then increased overall player density. Back when we still had voip, alliances were less likely to be broken.

I do not frequent goblin caves, or ruins. I play mostly solo and still prefer crypts. Regardless of the current setup and balancing for time to pvp. it feels too dense to me. I get other players rolling into my first room far too often for comfort, even when I spawn on the edges. It might be that i am just unlucky lol
Check out Barony, it's pixelly graphics but it's a good dungeon crawler and the "pvp" is entirely optional
I kind of like how it is. First thing I do is evaluate rooms nearby. You learn all spawns after a while and you can quick check if anyone spawned near

well I think it is an unintended "feature" honestly if your class can perk into using something then you should be able to trade that in their respective trade chats. And if i am being really honest about it they really just need to implement a auctionhouse style market.
spears were tradeable in their class channel before, and it just made it easier for them to buy one.
Also if I specifically want to trade a spear to a ranger or a hand crossbow to a rogue I should have the option to do so because of stat rolls
I do not see an issue with classes being able to easily acquire gear they can use in their own chats.
As time goes on everyone is going to know the map layout and instantly rush to your spawn, they should go with the random generation idea the had before and use the blocks/rooms they have now as starting points.
I don't think it's fair to know where someone's spawn is off the bat. It's a very cheesy interaction
So they were planning on having the dungeons randomly generated? I could see that being interesting and keeping things fresh. I dont think that would really fix the spawn rushing issue, unless the maps were bigger. but then that falls back to population density issues.
pvp interactions don't have that same spark to me anymore compared to when I first played the game. Now I find it a lot easier to expect when an interaction occurs because we all funnel into the same areas.
once all of the other issues get fixed. Net code should be a priority as well. I shouldn't be getting hit by attacks that miss me by 2 feet

when you do a lot of trades, you end up with empty pouches from trading fees. so when you're selling things for a lot of gold or buying for a lot of gold you will end up with a bunch
well rangers are known for tracking and perception checks. that is what i am basing that on. I could see rogue's getting a loot/trap/deception ability. but I feel seeing a dead body would be a ranger thing. just differing of oppinions i guess
take them into a dungeon and make art. or drop them in a line to draw people into a ambush

It doesnt have to be flame based, I mean the big dmg spell for warlock in dark and darker is hellfire which is a slow moving high damage torpedo. the other spells are hitscan types that apply dots. but no shortrange fast spells

well traps got nerfed - and other classes can use traps / bow so thats honestly a seperate complaint but arrows are way too big in your inventory and too expensive, it would also be nice to start with an arming sword instead of a short sword. Its already difficult to get gold having to spend 30 each match and being unable to use half your inventory to play, lest they could do is give ranger a weapon that can break boxes and barrels
i am not a fan of any class having high self sustain for healing. 2nd wind and rations seem too good compared to the lack of self sustain on other classes. but ranger is fine otherwise.

dark and darker is not tarkov, i understand the analogy but there is no leg meta in dark and darker. when you are just starting out/dont have the option of better gear getting shit on by geared players is not fair. no if you want to run lower gear and risk the 50-100 gold i agree. but there is no argument that defends keeping things the way they are. design the game to push people to the higher teir maps and make it not worth it to go in juiced to your gills just to get off on killing low gear players.
Its always by luck and decision making. I still running grey gear in goblin cave and getting out, hide yourself in dark or by drinking invisable potion to increase your surival rate. Or avoid to picking fight.

True there is luck and survival at play but you can get some pretty bad spawns in the caves making the lurking around more difficult.
Not to mention if you need to get inside the ring you don't really have much choice except to run towards an area someone might be and hope the gear they have is reasonable.
There is also the factor that most ppl don't wan't to be forced to hide around and run down the clock
In a fight, the only information you have is what you can see: enemy positioning, enemy gear. That’s it. You don’t get damage numbers, because that tells you the enemy’s damage reduction. You don’t get a health bar, because then fights would be so much more campy. The ability for one class, ESPECIALLY the class that is able to go invisible and sneak around on a whim, is a bad choice

not in game atm so I'm going off memory but I'm pretty sure wizard gets 25 spell memory to start and all their spells total to about 32(?) and there is only 11 spells atm so its not too hard to equip all the spells you want as wizard

When you are in starter gear and use the knowledge perk on a wiz you get 22 spell memory.

Not sure if it has been said or not, but consumables should stack in the stash. I loved the change of consumable stacking in the inventory, but having 25% of my stash be consumables (I'm not the only one) feels kinda bad.

Gear does look different as quality improves. A kite shield looks old and wooden at lower tiers and shiny and painted in the upper tiers.

True, being underleveled can make or break a fight, I just think that levels are like 20% of the factor in a fight compared to gear usually. Some perks are more impactful for sure. Like Bard fast swapping perk is insanely valuable.

When you factor for skills that scale with weapon damage and abilities that use multiple hits/scalings at once. The damage from a blue weapon increases your DPS by way more than 50%
does anyone think Warlock's Phantomize should be able to be cancelled early? I feel like either it needs some kind of buff or blow of corruption needs an adjustment because most people seem to agree that blow of corruption is just better in most cases

warlock has 4 spells rn, hellfire, curse of weakness, curse of sacrifice and curse of pain. the latter three are all hitscans. sacrifice and pain are dots, weakness is a stat debuff. hellfire is the giant slow torpedo.

why limit jumping? as for cancelling you could just press the button again or do anything that phantomize normally stops you from doing
It's just an idea for how it can be canceled, you need a perk for walking during hide as a rogue for example. Something to cancel the phantom walk, it doesn't have to be jumping.
make it so jumping cancels it but you can pass though barrels, boxes and pots.

Wizard and Warlock are the only two that get this normally and their only secondary weapon is another spell focus which may cause some mechanical problems/question. This would only affect Weapon Mastery fighter unless one of those two casters wanted to use a lantern

A pavise is literally a shield used by archers and crossbowmen, it makes no sense to take it away from the quintessential archer and give it to someone who has no thematic reason to have it

Add toxcitiy to potion usage
Clearly there's an attempt being done by devs to manage potion usage. Instead of nerfing the effects of the potions, which seemingly only makes having a cleric in group all that more important, perhaps add various levels of toxicity to potions. If you drink too many too often, your toxicity levels reach a threshold and it brings adverse effects (drunk effect, small DOT effect).
I want fighter PDR to be able to reach 99% and have armor pen identifiers on equipment be significantly higher, like ~10-15% higher on each of those stats. that way one or two decent armor pen rolls takes a maxed fighter to like 70% pdr if you have decent equipment, would also give purpose to a dead stat that no one ever takes. Maintains the current philosophy that a geared fighter should be a raid boss tank vs none geared players without magic damage but puts him on even footing with anyone who invested basically any amount of gold in 1 or 2 armor pen stats.

If you drink too much healing potion you get "Addicted" to it like morphine overdosing.
When the addiction rises, you need to drink more potion to keep the withdrawal effect from happening, in which it will Slow you down, reduces damages and start taking recoverable damage very slowly, and being withdrawal for too long apply the Ale Drunk effect too.
That just feels weird though, like how strong your arrow is depends on how fast you move? Counter intuitive

Sure, that's fine. But eitherway my point still stands, armor penetration is permanently a completely dead stat. How would you make it useful while not having it completely overtake current PDR? I think armor pen should be a useful stat to have, by increasing it's value, without increasing the value of PDR on gear, but remove the cap for fighters/set it to something silly levels of high. If you had a single piece of equipment that rolled 20% armor penetration as one of it's identifiers suddenly that's a very good piece of gear. Realistically 20% armor pen would be about equivalent to a 20% damage increase which on low damage weapons, 20-35, would be about 4-8 damage increase, and higher weapons, would be about 8-16 damage increase. But it would be almost useless vs rogues, barbarians, or any other class that doesn't stack high PDR and armor. I feel like my idea for this change isn't bad as it gives a significant purpose to the armor penetration identifier, while also allowing fighters to really gear out, and take their class to the absolute limits.

i want toxicity added to potions, would love it so you cannot just keep rebuffing yourself by continuously drinking blue potions...add toxicity so if they don't manage their toxcitity level it punishes someone that pops too many potions too often

Music might be sound, but it is all magic, too. Most forms of magic don't penetrate walls in this game and when it does, it can feel cheap or out-of-nowhere.
Imagine being a player that's ABOVE or BELOW a Bard, they aren't a threat to you, and you still get music casted upon you just because. That's not good to have. Especially if they can't even reach you.
The thing is, in a rank system player are match up against better player, there is no extra content to unlock.

i think what IM needs to figure out is to make HR rewarding enough that basically all geared teams go there, which leaves people in greens/blues mainly the top tier of normal dungeon dives. Endgame can be varied for players based on skill level and time dedicated to the game, i think it's about making both "endgames" fun

stepping back to say this, if they do introduce a gear limit, high roller dungeons need more escape portals because getting out in HR is luck instead of skill. Watched a full grey gear team wipe a full legendary gear team in HR inferno by just taking the escape portals from them, neither team even interracted, the legendary gear team was fighting boss and the grey gear team got locked into going to inferno because they were dead to storm otherwise. The grey gear team played like ass too and the legendary gear team practically took 0 hits.
Rogues also have I believe the highest base move speed and therefore easiest time avoiding death by goblin.
Btw if you buy any pvp game you know that you need to invest your time in it to be good, if you don't have time or don't want to invest time in it it's not devs fault

Maybe you get a luck bonus for every 'loop portal', to a cap. If you're in a normal lobby, you're forced into high roller when you take the portal, and players know if you're looping through some indicator.
