Suggestion from Solus#2250
Issue: Rangers having unlimited arrows changes the entire dynamic of the game. Other classes that have range abilities have limited spell slots, a long cooldown, or limited ammunition. It's like playing Escape from Tarkov with only melee weapons and someone is sniping you with a sniper rifle with unlimited bullets while running away, kinda toxic to deal with. This compounds even further when you have a 3 man stack all playing rangers shooting you infinitely in rotation without pause.
Solution:
Add a quiver item and slot while also making it function similarly to a gold pouch. These quivers can be filled up with different types of arrows that varies in prices and effects such as poison arrow, fire arrow, water arrow (To shoot at torches and instantly put them out) and more. Make a skill that allows them to rotate through their quiver like the spell wheel and choose from those arrow effects. Whatever you put into the quiver is what shows up on your spell/arrow wheel. This would also make them completely unique from fighters who can also use bows.
Where would you get them?
Buy them from the woodsman, regen from campfires, loot them off archers, crates, pots, chests, and other players.
What issues could arise from this solution?
Running out of arrows with default character and no stash. Example: You're a fresh spawn with no gear brought in from stash and you fired off all your limited arrows. You now have to punch everything to death.
This is really bad so I suggest giving rangers a starting melee weapon such as a grey arming sword or rapier.
