Games like Dark and Darker, Tarkov, The Cycle Frontier (they did no wipes and it was all downhill from there), etc.. need to wipe or the new people coming into the game would have very little chance against the grease balls playing 12 hours a day with BIS gear. Wipes will be a permanent feature (I hope (if it's not I fear for what will become of the game)).

Wipes also bring people back to the game.

You gotta think of it like this. There's an odd 20 people connecting to a small map. Everything that is happening on the map needs to be transmitted to your computer. Tarkov has a ton of it's assets on the PC and does not need to send as much data.

It's not 100% sure it's the issue. The only way to tell for sure is to move your PC next to the router hard wire it in and do two things.

1. Speed test
2. Test and see if you rubberband.

No problem. Your class and speed will determine how often you can get hits in and still avoid it's attacks. Ranger/Rogue/Bard is fast enough to basically keep attacking and still be able to dodge the attacks. Slower classes get only a couple hits off before getting ready to dodge the attack

Lol took the option to pick maps, limited players to one map that a lot of people don't really like. Give the players what they like, PVP more map choices and stop changing the map rotation every two days, give the game an unstable vibe. Best game out with the most potential. But if you want to not kill the game give us an option to play maps we like, bring back original goblin caves, reduce the amount of AI on the ice map, bring greens and maybe blues into norms, and suck off whoever you need to in order to get the game on steam and get people to advertise the game by offering bigger streamers keys or something.

What's the justification behind removing 5x5 goblin caves and removing the insanely fun aspect of killing both bosses on your own for a chance at uniques? So we made goblin caves solo only and then take away the only skill-intensive way for someone to farm uniques as a solo?

Mystical gem will still be in, as you guys said, but why would we favor someone buying a gem and opening a door over someone having to kill two bosses on their own and fight the entire lobby for a chance at a unique? This makes no sense.
