Any plans to address the third partying/easy map traversal in ruins? There’s virtually no PvP in Crypts/Inferno because everyone is dead, not to mention smokepot rogues stealing the gear off every body as soon as they drop in trios. It’s not a great PvP experience, one team into another with rogues in between. Every module can be skipped so I can run across ruins in less than a minute and a half. Crypts had more chokepoints to hold a third party but ruins does not. This doesn’t even address the people sitting in the ruins tower waiting to see a fight to W key at it.

you can get a bag from the goblin as a quest reward. last i checked a gold key was for ~20 gold ingots, but the price of ingots has gone down to 150-300 per. the key as is is usually more valuable and its better to just buy ingots for cheap to trade people ingots

i think that maybe if kills gave u like actually some rank points, (kills give like 5-8 points, opening extraction gates gives 30) people would think twice before not killing others. Like imagine that each kill gives 80 to 100 points, keeping in mind that would be weird if in higher ranks u killed everyone in the lobby, the maximum would be 1.500 points for killing everyone. They can also limit the points u can get from kills to 500 or so, like if u kill 5 people u get 500 if u kill 6, still 500. And what would this solve?. Mainly people teams because the only thing u would want to kill for right now, is gear. So you either want a fast extraction with much points, like opening 6 red portals, teaming against 1 people and take half the loot, or go to 3rd floor losing 40 minutes. Most people is gonna take the fast route, team, open portals, escape on blues with the loot. Now if kills give more points for rank, that is a different story, and combine that with a bit less points from opening gates, and blue-green loot. Why would u team and split ur loot with someone, if u can kill him and secure some points? Now with lesser points from blues and greens u have 2 choices to get some points and not derank just by entering a game. Choice A being delve deepeer into the dungeon, find some purples with potions of luck, and try to escape, or kill some people instead of team with them, loot them, kill some mobs open portal(s) to escape, and secure some loot and a bit less points while securing some gold gain.

I was wondering the thoughts behind trying to make players more aggressive?
As well as the changes to early game engages and how you are balancing the possiblity for players to "spawn" rush? - referring to the note that you guys are trying to push for players to engage earlier and feel safe enough to not get "third" partied

To give some context to this question, everyone is always talking about two types of players: pvpers and teamers, which is kind of weird because there's a full spectrum of players playing. Questers, AP grinders, bossers, and others things. Most times these players might be friendly since they have other goals in mind or maybe just don't care to pvp much. Why does this matter, well for one thing it makes people that friendly automatically grouped into a "teamer" category. Which is incorrect based off my understanding of their definition of teaming, the definition of teaming I understood was - people who que individually with intentions of ending up in the same game and using an external means of communicating to gain an advantage over others. People that que normally and adventure through the dungeon peacefully are not the same as the previously mentioned category of players except they're being treated and grouped as such (I do want to point out that real teaming is still a problem as well im not disregarding that).

Most (now this isn't everyone and I understand that) players that I have seen complaining about teamers are usually the aggressors, and are referring to players that had been friendly and once they're attacked the others that have also been around and friendly don't like this and attack the aggressor. If the goal is to also eliminate the friendliness of the dungeons and eliminate this style of gameplay, then why not just make pvp kills 500+ AP? This will at least make the risk of pvping worth the cost of AP points you would lose while enticing others to be more aggressive. I also bring this up because I think there has to be better ways to track a players "teaming" since I see people who are either falsely banned or not banned at all.

So heres the next question to you as a person you have 2 players in front of you 1 guy was friendly and the other came running at the other player and is trying to kill him being the third person in this event... which player would you want to see survive for your own survival person that was friendly and didn't attack you on site or the player that came charging in guns ablazing.... honestly I would want to see the friendly player survive because I don't have to worry as much if I have other goals in mind AP grinding and whatever else, now say the aggressor wins and the third person then kills then immediately after. This is now a third party kill which also people hate and doesn't really make sense, since in reality if someone chooses to be aggressive they must also understand that those choices might have blowback

This situation seems like a lose/lose so how do you balance not making this a pvp only situation

1. Player count is fine, there’s tons of people online who claim the game is dying but the queue times are never longer than a couple minutes even not in peak hours. The ranked system does a pretty alright job of giving you better and stronger players to fight as you go up in ranks. There’s the occasional player in low ranks who trades themselves gold gear on a fresh character or something but I haven’t come across one myself.
2. I’ve never come across any cheaters myself, but I’ve seen occasional clips and screenshots people have taken of the pop-up saying a player you’ve reported has been banned. Exploits only really pop up after big updates like this most recent one, but the devs do take swift action, they’ve already fixed the exploit and rolled back everyone’s items to a previous state before the exploit. Most people online talking about the devs don’t realize how good we have it here
3. We’ve been getting almost weekly hot fixes and patches since the game launched, which is crazy, not many developers work this fast. I’m pretty hopeful for the games future. I suggest you listen to the interviews the devs have done with different streamers, listening to those makes you realize how much work they’re putting into the game for how little their team is. Also there’s been two knock offs of this game that have come out and this one is still by far the best, they’re definitely doing something right here

1. Player count depends on the day sometimes the servers are so laggy you can't que and sometimes you can knock out 25 games without a single lag spike.
2. I am top 5% and I personally haven't seen a cheater, Maybe that is cause they are good at hiding it but when I die its cause its a 330 move speed barb throwing axes at 10 yards lmao
3. Honestly, they rush updates and don't do any testing beforehand and it ends up causing some type of crazy problem which results to mess over all of the player base, Like the most recent update, they rushed an update instead of fixing lag or Balance issues and a Dupe was found and for the next 24 hours everyone was duping gold/items/BIS and caused them to Rollback the server causing all of the player base to suffer.

Map rotation is a thing and its a pain, if you find a map you enjoy you'll have to wait 30mins to an hour to play it again because idk tbh they just love us so much.

4. Extra side note, if you wanna get Demigod before the wipe happens in 20 days play Barb, Its so broken right now you can easily push Pathfinder+ in one sitting.

Yeah after every hotfix or update people flood to the general chat to complain and argue with each other, but that's a vocal minority kind of thing. The game has been steadily improving since release. The server issues are real though, devs said in one of the interviews that they cringe whenever they're watching a video or stream of their game being played and there's some rubber banding. With this most recent patch it's gotten worse, but there's no way it can stay like this forever

Removing map rotation just isn’t in the playbook right now. Lack of players since the season is ending, but not only that but map rotation is there for a reason. To test the map, over and over and over again. That’s another reason you can’t play crypts right now, the map testing is done. It makes sense to focus on the maps that are underdeveloped and have issues before they set out for the end of the season. Will map rotation stay past pre access? I highly doubt it.
