If you are still experiencing login issues and cant login as the 'login' button just stops working and nothing happens... after much trial and error I managed to fix it with these steps:

• I used revo uninstaller (it has a free trial) to fully uninstall blacksmith and every c++ redistributable including cleaning up leftovers and registry... ccleaner may work but I used revo.
• I then reinstalled the launcher and installed the vcredist that is in the blacksmith folder (c:\program files\ironmace\blacksmith) and only that and then it launched and allowed me to login
  You cannot use windows add/remove to do this and you must use the one in the folder and completely clean uninstall using revo or equivalent. If it breaks in the future it may be that windows update has overridden your redist with a newer one that is incompatible.

I hope it works for you, it was infuriating and I had the same symptoms; your message was useful in isolating it as it was same problem; though the error that pops up when you hit enter in the email field is broken for everyone.

Basically the game is designed to run with Visual C++ Redistributable 2015-2022 with version:
14.34.31938.0
However the current version is:
14.36.32532.0 (or 14.38.32919.0)
You must use a tool (revo uninstaller is what I used that worked and it has a free trial / free version) to remove it (ideally alongside blacksmith and all the others) you cannot use windows add/remove.

I did, but It didn't prevent me from dying 2 shot in full purple to a guy with a 39 damage green falchion, first shot hitting me for 75% of my health, while I have 130 hp and 45% base damage reduction, up to 55% with my bard's buff. And then seeing him in spectate kill a High roller black berserker in 5 shots with my kit, while with the same kit it takes me 20 shots (as well as one shoting black /red skeletons, which have 250 health, black even more). Punishment is good, now there needs to be prevention.

Make sure your microphone is set to the default communications device in the windows settings then restart. I had the same problem because I went into discord and manually selected my microphone but windows had a different communications device so everyone in discord could hear me but in game it has the wrong mic selected. I Capped FPS to 90, it was even then unstable. Doesnt matter which option i choose, GAME is so laggy !

Generally it's survival bow <<<<< recurve bow << longbow. Survival bow is basically useless, recurve bow has higher dps than longbow but it's difficult to hit at longrange, longbow has less dps, but the headshot perk means you can do a ton of damage in 1 hit, and the arrows have the least drop off so it's much easier to hit far targets.

un install the launcher, download a fresh blacksmith from the website and install it, when you login do not click keep me logged in. It will let you launch everytime you just have to login each time, which is better than re installing in my opinion

Why are they moving away from restacking the ruins with the crypts? Their first attempt at it wasn't great but they promised they wouldn't give up on it. They reason we weren't playing ruins had nothing to do with the player queue, and making it duo queue only isn't going to change the 8+ solo rogues per lobby problem.

Recurve is in a good place, I can agree to longbow. But that’s beside the fact that every arrow not only costa us 1g per shot but can take up nearly half our inventory space if we plan on going into inferno map/boss kills. That being said we can’t loot as much as anyone else. Some games at most we break even with gold from loot vs gold spent on arrows

I take in about 100 arrows each game into hell, with the lack of inventory space sometimes I make with sellables 90-120 gold. Don’t forget I have to buy atleast half of my arrows to go into the next game…

It happens but not often for me. Usually someone has to run to a portal in the storm. The changes made were for duo maps though. There is usually never enough portals in the final circle but usually enough leading up to the final circle.

I feel like ranger trap should have some changes. Maybe make it so you take the initial damage of closing and if you don't move you don't take any more damage. there should be a set radius that you can walk out of and once you pass it you disengage from the trap but take damage each step or something. also maybe an auto disengage after like 10 sec.
